Earlier this month SVSH had conducted an Introduction To Vocal Technique Workshop at our studio in Ukay Perdana.

We've Moved To Ukay Perdana

Hi all , we've just moved to Ukay Pedana , no more operating at Galaxy Ampang. The reason of moving is because we were told that the management of Galaxy Ampang had some in-house plans to be executed on the 1st floor and our unit was affected. We were offered to move to the ground floor but we find that it's not suitable to operate a vocal studio as it's surrounded by many hair salons , spas & foot reflexology centres.

Vocal Coach For Ratna MENTOR

TV3's reality show MENTOR had just started and for 2 weeks Ratna , protege of Afdlin Shauki didn't get good remarks & marks from judges. Ratna still has 2 rounds of battle to show the Malaysian audience of her capability as a versatile performer.

Ratna's MENTOR Afdlin Shauki is doing all he can to see Ratna succeed. We've detected Ratna's weakness & strength during this first session. This week onwards Ratna will continue her intensive vocal training under the coaching of Cikgu Siti Hajar......

Well , as for me.....I finally met my favourite favourite favourite Malaysian actor of all time , Afdlin Shauki. I adore all his work of art since he was half his size! One talented soul *wink*

Our kids took the opportunity to capture some moments with Uncle Afdlin Shauki as well. As for Cikgu Siti's son Afif Halim of Idola Kecil 3 , he used to work with Afdlin in his movie SUMOLAH. My daughter Adrenna on the other hand is like mummy too. She loves watching Afdlin's movies. She simply loves his acting , especially in Baik Punya Cilok!

Up and coming pop R&B singer is also a vocal student under Cikgu Siti Hajar's supervision. Wait for his entry in our local music industry!

ANA DAHLIA

Up and coming actress who made her silver screen debut as a lead actress through the film Mantra. Besides acting Ana Dahlia has a passion for singing and currently taking lessons at the studio.

EIRA SYAZIRA

Currently making waves in her role as Kemboja in TV3's Lagenda series Kemboja Putih. She has few songs recorded for theme songs of film & dramas.

RASHIDAH JA'AFAR

Made her name as an actress in the 80's.....also an ex-wife to famous song composers A.Ali & Nasir P.Ramlee. Kak Jee as we called her , she'll be recording & releasing an album soon and now is getting a personal vocal coaching from her old friend , Cikgu Siti Hajar at the studio.

Project : Twisties Flashmob

Our first big project. Hired by JSquared to do this flashmob for Twisties at Lot10 , Bukit Bintang in May. Trained 120 vocalist for the project. Thankfully everything went well despite few setbacks we faced in the production.

Vocal Lessons In Borneo....Anyone Interested?

It's great that things are picking up at the studio. We're extremely excited that we've got student coming from as far as Malacca , Seremban & Ipoh to enroll for solo classes. These student showed tremendous passion towards learning & discovering new things about vocals.

Insya'allah we're in the midst of opening a weekly vocal class both for Solo & Group classes in Brunei. Also if there's any music studio or company or individuals in Sabah & Sarawak who would like to collaborate with us in running a weekly vocal studio in Borneo , please do not hesitate to email or call us. We'd love to hear from you. It would be great to be able to expand the vocal knowledge with aspiring singers in Borneo.

New Karaoke System For The Studio

During the recent Hari Wilayah holiday , we went out to Sungei Wang Plaza to get a new Karaoke System complete with speakers & microphones and all for the studio.

Getting some help from Rima's husband Adnan to install the system for us.

While Adnan was busy leveling up the equalizer and etc.........we made ourselves busy checking out the new microphones.

Called Siti's husband to bring the TV to be installed together with the karaoke system. While waiting.............belted some songs.

First Choir Job

Walaupun studio belum siap 100% , we've started operating last December 30th. We got a job to teach a choir group in Putrajaya. We've got a long term contract with them. Alhamdulillah. A good day , a good start for me & Kak Siti. So today we headed to Putrajaya and had a quick lunch at Domino's Pizza somewhere in Putrajaya.......errr......don't ask me where coz I'm totally lost when it comes to Putrajaya. Seriously , I don't where I was that day.

Kak Siti mahir jugak area Putrajaya ni........naturally lah,,,,,coz dia banyak mengajar choir kat goverment department kat sini. Hari ni , Kak Siti mengajar kumpulan choir Kementerian Sains Teknologi & Inovasi. They have to polish up on their ministry song. Tapi nasib baik tak perlu buat voicing lagi. Hmmmm..........in the next few weeks , it will definitely be my duty to do the vocal arrangements. Mula laa I kena ting tong ting tong piano balik. Selalunya kalau I assist Kak Siti mengajar , I'll prepare the musical part of it & Kak Siti will just teach the choir group. Honestly , lagu pun I belum pernah dengar lagi tapi Kak Siti dah pernah dengar. Hari Selasa ni ada kelas , sempat lagi.......

OK peeps......am set to start a new chapter in my life starting tomorrow , January 4th. Wish me luck , ya. I know it's not going to be an easy ride especially with you know who laa kan,,,,,,tapi for the sake of my kids & my own security........am gonna take the risk of doing so and moving forward.

Thanx to my baby brother Ramos & his friends , Ijon & Man for their endless support & effort to make the studio livelier. Ramos & gang have been working hard for his big sister's sake. After work he'll come to the studio with his friends. Thank you so much bro......I love you.

Not only Ramos , my dad helped a lot too. Papa is the handy man. Terima kasih Pa.......MP pun tolong jugak.......jadi mandur.....hehehe!

Dah Selamat Angkat Barang Masuk Studio

On Xmas day , me & Kak Siti decided to move things from Kak Siti's old studio to our new studio. It's a family affair laa.....my family & Kak Siti's family was there to help things out.

Everything went smoothly........

Ooow yeeah.....MP was there too......spooky spooky huh?! Hahaha.........No lah , he was OK that day , giving us some ideas and all.......

Ahhhhh.........piano dah ada! 2 sekali! Yehaaa........best , best........Yna wanted me to play her favourite tune , MJ's "You Are Not Alone". Played and sang the song for her. Alhamdulillah , satu bab dah selamat.

We later had a makan-makan session. There's a cafe at G floor. I had Teh Terapung & some roti bakar......nyaman gilak bah....! Lama tak makan roti bakar cicah dengan teh........Petang ni MP belanja. Yay! Thanx for the treat , partner.
