Just tumbled across this old college design project. It was a sponsored studio by Spectrum brands, the makers of Hot Shot insect repellent. The concept here was to create a low cost solution for after extermination. My concept used some simple living hinges to achieve this.

With the recent big changes at the top of Yahoo. A lot of people are looking for some signs of turnaround. Yahoo has just released some new ios apps that have been getting some good press. I just downloaded thew new weather app from Yahoo for iPhone. I wasn’t expecting a lot in terms of interface but it had good reviews. The execution and visual design is fantastic. It’s my now goto weather app on ios. They also have some very clever interaction with Flickr, which pulls in local shots near your location. Very slick. iTunes link
