What Is Niche Marketing?

This is going to be one of the most well defined post that I create for a number of reasons. People that are looking to earn money on-line or are the least bit curious about what it takes to get started are in need of this information. Niche Marketing is big business for small business owners.

Major corporations aren't really that interested in niche marketing, as it is too small an arena for them. But someone that is clever enough to see the benefit in looking into specifics when it comes to products and services can and will benefit greatly from delving into this very lucrative arena.

Here we will go on to defined Niche Marketing in the simplest terms I can think of, as most people will not really be able to grasp the wordy and sophisticated babble of more publisher. Also, there will be examples given that we hope will make it even easier to understand.

Niche Marketing Defined:

Niche Marketing is taking smaller areas of businesses, products or services and promoting them to a target audienceⁱ that has a special interest in them. Introducing them to new potential customers by highlighting there features, benefits, price and how to obtain them.

To be honest, it don't have to be that the audience have a special interest in it but use them from time to time. Either way special interest or not it is something that a consumer uses. This can be done on-line or off-line, contrary to what some publishers write.

We will give you two examples of how one can take a specific niche and earn money on-line and I will give two examples how a person can do the same thing off-line The products and service will vary to make it practical for anyone that may wish to used these niches to start supplementing there income.

For our on-line example we will use the following three niches:

Travel
Heath & Fitness

Each of these are very hot niches to tap into. However, to win the bid for the keywords will take some doing. But dealing with key words is another post in and of itself that we hope to deal with in the near future. Suffice it to day that there are a lot of tools out there that can make this job relatively easy for you. We will cover that too.

Travel

In respect to keywords “travel” is the most popular term used to deal with a broad range of activities. So, you can chose from this word other key terms that are used by people that travel for instance “Vacation”. I don't know where you are right now but I'm in Philadelphia, PA and we are freezing!
If a person is interested in this particular niche and want to tap into the vacationing crowd creating an article. Blog post, mine website, web page or other forms of content about that keyword talking about where the hot spots are would possibly give them an edge in reaching their target marketⁱⁱ. This is where Affiliate Marketing comes into play.

If the publisher is not a business owner that has a travel agency, Affiliate Marketing is the best way to tap into that market without spending the thousands of dollars that the business owner spent to earn money in this market. Also, there is tapping into the merchant's that sale vacation packages and allows other to earn money from promoting their serviceⁱⁱⁱ

So creating an article, not selling vacation packages, but pre-selling them. You want to just talk about it. What are some of the best spots to go to for someone like me that don't like the fidget cold of winter of the upper east coast (i.e., Philadelphia, PA)? Where can I find nice weather, beaches, sand and exotic non-alcoholic drinks?

After answering as many of the questions you think your target market will be asking: you include the “How” they can achieve this goal to escape the cold and where they can do it. You give them the link to you affiliate page you were given by whatever company you choose to use.

Health & Fitness

This is a very very broad area to market. There are so many areas within this niche to market it might send you into a mind spin for a minute. Health & Fitness is, in and of itself, a niche within the Wellness Industry and has tons of potential when it comes to helping people resolve issue they may have with their various health issue.

Just to be clear, Wellness doesn't mean that you are not sick or have a chronic issue. A person can be malnourished and able to bench press 400 lds. Someone can be Diabetics and look just as well as any other person you meet. So, dealing with wellness issue doesn't necessitate a chronic illness that one has to be hospitalized for, can't function normally or need emergent medical attention. So, wellness is dealing with existing issue in the health of people and animals.

I will used “Cleansing” for this example. Why? It is something that I am particularly passionate about and can write for hours, days, months and years about. Personally, I have a very serious health issue, High Blood Pressure (The Silent Killer). I come from a family that has a verity of health issue from heart failure to cancer. So, maintaining myself on a cellular level is vital to my staying healthy.

Cleansing doesn't only deal with colon health. Putting into the body the much needed nutrients to keep us functioning properly is the most important thing. With the innovation of Genetically Modified Organisms that have for the most part taken over what we eat these days, being malnourished^iv is practically the norm for many of us.

So taking on this niche can be down by creating a relationship like the one above and doing the usual in respect to content that pre-sells (i.e., informs) and show the how, who, what when and where to go to be able to remedy this issue.

Provide more useful information and direct you visitor to your affiliate sales page and let it do the selling for you.

That's it for my on-line examples.

As for off-line niche marketing? This is for my brothers and sister on their grind. This is where I started as a business owner and will always have love for this particular group of business owners. They take it to heart and work face to face, hand to hand and person to person with the public and do a great job at it.
Niche Marketing off-line just like on-line has tons of potential for major earnings. Unlike on-line where you can start for $0.00-$1,000, off-line requires some investment. Therefore I will use two product that are low investment items. For my two examples here I will used the following products:

Socks
Thermals

It's Winter! What better two product to use?! Plus, I like sock and thermals as start-ups to bigger and better things!
Here I'm going go combine the two for the sake of keeping my post short as I promised. This was a matter that required more detail than its sister issue^v.

Socks

They come in so many verities so I will narrow it down to three categories

Men
Women
Children (male & female)

Any one of these are sure money maker and can be the sole product that a person markets for years on end. There is never a time when people don't want or need socks. They are so many incidents that bring about the need for them. They wear out, get lost, the One Sock Monster gets them in the washer or dryer, the list goes on.

This creates a demand and your target market is any and everyone with at least on foot. There's no one that is without need for socks. A customer base that I have not seen covered on a major leave is children socks. Almost every vendor I've seen supple men and women but not children. So, children socks can be a market that's tapped into and great benefit can be brought to this segment and profit for the marketer that is savvy enough to invest in the product.

Thermals:
This is a seasonal product that if marketed properly can be an year around money maker. I'm in Philadelphia, Pa where it is cold October-March. This is a window, that in most cities, you can market thermals and earn a nice income. For the rest of the year you have those places that have year around Winter where you can tap into those area on-line.

So, in closing this post Niche Marketing is simply finding an area of business, a product or service that is sought after and put yourself between the merchant and the customer. Promoting, publishings and article writing to inform you target market so they can learn the what, when, why where and how to obtain what it is they are looking for.

Take your time and research the various opportunities that exist so you work in an area of knowledge that you are familiar with so you... truly you can express the information as passionately as you want and in an expert manner. Not selling but pre-selling your visitors so they will go to the sales page and let that sell for you.

This is one of the simplest ways to earn money on-line and it just happen to be fun too. Make it your past-time and it will take on a life of its own and you will be pleased with what it becomes.

How Are We Affected By Network Marketing/Affiliate Marketing

This is a very amazing revelation that came to me out of clear air. There is somewhat of a back story to it and a few personal events that took place in my life and I just want you to understand and see how not only is/was my life affected by it but everyone that has ever been in the same position that I was in at the time.

My Personal Story

My personal story happened back in January 2011. I was at my Ophthalmologist getting and eye examination and a pair of glasses. As a result an issue from a previous injury (a detached retina) was discovered that required for me to see a specialist. Actually it was two specialist that I had to see. One for the detached retina and the other for Cataract that was discovered.

From this point my Doctor (Dr. Tan) advised me to see two specialist. One for my retinal detachment and the other of the Cataract. She gave me a 'referral' to see both doctors. I made the appointments to go see them and was examined during those visits. This is where I see now that my Ophthalmologist has a network of doctors that she work with.

She marketed their skills and put them in play to earn a few thousand dollars from my insurance company. This is something that happens to millions of people everyday and the doctor continue to earn major money as a result. This is as I mention in a previous post Affiliate/Network Marketing. The world of business is built upon it as a strategy to earn from the efforts of others. Don't hate the players of the game... learn to play like the players and earn like they earn.

Umm-Mayyah's Story

Then there's Umm-Mayyah, my daughter. She was born November 10th, 2013 and is a very happy little girl. Her story is brief as she was just born and there's not much of a history that can be given on her. At any rate, she had her first appointment to see her Pediatrician on December 12th, 2013. When her Doctor examined her she found that she may have a heart murmor.

So, she gave is a 'referral' to see a Cardiologist at a specific hospital for children. Thou, I believe the bigger children's hospital has a better Cardiologist we are going to see this guy. This was the point that I realized that this is a form of Network Marketing. I don't know for sure if the referring Doctors are going to earn a commission but what I see is that if someone needs let's say, a Pediatrician I'm sure the other Doctor would send that business her way.

My point is Affiliate Marketing affects us in ways that we don't see because we are just not focused at the time. Well, most of us. I'm in business mode 24/7/365. That just me.

I just want to give you a clear example of how this industry is working even when we are not looking. If, we make that first very important step and get involved with someone that is really into seeing you and your business grow. It is simple to start and given the right training you can start earning within a few months depending on how active you are.

What Is Network Marketing?

Network Marketing or Multi-Level Marketing is very different from Affiliate Marketing in a number of ways. The intent here is to explain in this article clearly what it is and hopefully enlighten you as to what, how and who can be a Network Marketer or MLM'er. Having been involved with a number of companies that uses this model as a means to promote, advertise and selling their products and services online and offline. I feel comfortable explaining this to you and clarifying it.

It involves a system of Direct Sales: where individuals are given the opportunity to invest and become Independent Sale Representative and not an employee. This gives the company and the individual leverage to earn and grow at a pace that benefits both parties. Hopefully explaining it from this perspective will lead to the point that I want and make it apparently clear to you the features and benefits of this business model.

Network Marketing is just that... A Business Model. It has been used by many companies to do three very essential things.

To launch new products and services
To build its workforce
And to market its products and services.

Thus, increase sales and revenue for everyone involved. This method dates back more than 135 years and is just as relevant today as it was then. Companies that are household names today is due to the founders, owners and C.E.O. being savvy enough to utilize the Network Marketing model of promoting and building their business.

Understanding it as a Business Model, removes the stigma that has been place on it by those that have used it for less than honorable purposes. What it does is take the average person and enters them into the world of controlling there own financial destiny. This will be explained as well. Either in this post of in a separate post, as a subject in and of itself.

Network Marketers have been known my many different titles over the past ten years or so. Among them are

Network Marketer (Expert)
Multi-Level Marketer
Direct Sales (Representative
Direct Referrals
Independent Sales (Agents or Representatives)
Social Members
etc.

All of these titles represent one and the same function. The individuals that are fortunate enough to understand what these positions represent and the power behind them, regardless of what it is called, are living financially free lives (i.e., they are not worried about money).

So, from here we understand that the Network Marketer, by whatever name he/she is called, it's simply companies setting up every day regular people like you and I in business for ourselves with the right to represent their company and its products, service, packages, etc. They build their workforce by recruiting individuals (like us) who are willing to promote their merchandise in exchange for a commission. So for every sale the representative make they are paid by the company. When they use and purchase the products and are willing to share the features and benefits of the products and business opportunity with other, they are paid as well.

So, unlike the Affiliate Marketer, the Network Marketer is paid not only from their own efforts but that of their network. This expands the company's name, brand and credibility exponentially and the income of the Marketers working from home. One of the world wealthiest men said, "I rather get paid 1% of 100 peoples effort than 100% of my own."

This is the core of Network Marketing! If you are willing to work and not worry about others and what they are doing you can be very successful in this industry. It is about being a leader first and your own boss second. Anyone that is willing to learn, work and change can do it and being successful at it.

What Is Affiliate Marketing?

What is Affiliate Marketing? This is one of the many questions that may eat away at many people. My task here is to make it as simple as possible for you to understand it and to see how you fit into the equation now and how we plan to make you a part of the in group of people that are earning money online doing this very simple and easy method.

First an Affiliate Marketer is someone that has a relationship with major corporations and has an agreement with them to promote some or all of their products and/or services. This can be done in various ways. From them are:

Adding ads to his website
Publishing articles
Writing post,
Using text ads, banner ads
and many other methods.

When the Affiliate Marketer generates sales from his promotion of the company's products he is paid a commission for completed sales.

Now, what then is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate Marketing is a relationship between parties that are brought together to generate income and the purchase goods, services and the like. There are four primary parties: the Merchant, Network, Publisher and Customer(s).

We have the Merchant, who is the owner of the products. services and website that they are doing business from/marketed from.
The Network, brokers the relationship between the Merchant and the Publisher.
The Publisher, establishes a relationship with the Merchant and agrees to promote their products, services and website to people that frequents his website.
Customer(s) are the people that frequent the website of the Publisher or someone making an inquiry via a search engine. There they find ads, banners and other forms of advertisement that may interest them. They click through to the Merchant's site and find the item(s) they like and purchase.

At the end of this deal the Merchant earns money from the sales generated from the Publisher's website and pays a commission to the Publisher for a job well done

So, in short, Affiliate Marketing is a type of performance-based marketing in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought by the affiliates own marketing efforts. The industry had four major player: the merchant, the network, the publisher and the customer.

Stuff I'm Doing That's Making Money Online is a my effort to assist everyday ordinary people to learn, understand and comprehend what it is to be an Internet Marketer or Affiliate Marketer. Not only that but how easy it is to get started and develop a good momentum in getting popular without upsetting you family, losing your friends or annoying your co-workers.

Hi, I'm Mustafa Abdulmalik As-Salafy Ibn Abdullah, you can call me Abu Mujaahid to say the strain for pronouncing my very long name. I want to take this time to welcome you to my site and to give you a small overview of what it is I'm doing here and how it can benefit you. That is one of the main things that many people are on the internet for today and have been for years now....they want answers to issues that are troubling them. Or, they just need to be informed about this, that or the other thing that's in front of them at the time.

My thing on the internet is Affiliate Marketing and Internet Marketing (don't worry I will explain them both and not they differ and how they are yet alike).

Now what you can expect from me is very short and to the point posts, pages and articles. I really abhor those super long pages and hope to not trouble you with them ever. I am about getting to the meet of what we need to be doing to be successful online and taking the steps to do just that.
