We can clearly see that the spiral 2 is made up of 2 ropes the ORANGE and the BLACK while the spiral 1 is one complete rope.

This stupid riddle is very similar to (#C1) and are given to kids in their schools. Here also we would see the image upside down ->

Now what actually seemed as NO17 was actually LION and thus the thief was afraid to go into that room.

If we look the image in an inverted way then ->

We could clearly see as we move towards right the numbers are progressing by one so that leads to conclusion that the car would be parked at 87.

Well you only got one choice ask for the exact figures of the amount and while the restaurant is busy printing it and the room is filled with paper then sneak out the back door.

So we needed to find the correct switch for the bulb and we were allowed only once in the room, what we could have done is that first we pressed the switch No.1 and leave it on for a while then switch on No.2 (now as soon we switch this one No. 1 switches off automatically).

Now we enter the room. We have 2 situations :-

1) There is a bulb glowing in the room :- If that's the case then we have found it's switch NO.2

2) No bulb is glowing as we enter the room :- Then I touch the bulb if it's hot then the switch was NO.1 and if it's at the room temperature then the switch was NO.3 .

So we basically found out the correct switch by entering the room only once.
