It has been a while since I have had work orders worth posting. This was a great one. This person requested for me to allow him access to a cretin website. Take a look at the picture and see why the firewall was blocking it. I dont think i am going to allow this.

Today i got a call from a user and he said "I dont think my time on my computer changed it says that it is 7:54 AM" I looked down and my clock on my computer and saw 7:54 AM and then pulled out my cell phone and saw 7:54 AM and i know it changed so i replied "Thats because it is 7:54 AM your computer did just what it was suppose to do"

MSCONFIG and heart surgery

If you started having heart problems would you follow instructions on the internet to do surgery on your self? NO....so why must computer users think they know what they are doing when they THINK they can fix computers

User calls me today saying " I was at a hotel checking my personal mail and my computer told me i had a virus. No i cant even start windows." so i went over to his desk and saw that he had printed instructions from symantec on how to get rid of this spy wear. What he did was go to the start menu and click run type MSCONFIG /SAFEMODE which means the computer will boot into safe mode all the time and guess what the user only has a network logon he dosnt have a local logon so he cant get his computer to boot....WHY could he not wait until he got back to the office and let us fix it. Maybe he thought it would spy all of his personal information even if the computer is off.

Oh well it keeps me in business
