I got these new leather pants from Urban Outfitters College Night for only $13 (originally $72). College Night used to be an extra 50% off all sale, but it's only 30% now which is disappointing, but apparently not enough to keep me from buying out the entire sale section.

So I keep seeing this new "Asian trend" all over the runways, and part of me feels excited and proud that Asian stuff is becoming popular (Jeremy Lin, anyone?), but the other part of me is like "damn, I could never wear that trend. I would look WAYYY too Asian."
I mean, come on. If you saw a pretty white girl wearing an Asian dress (called a qi pao), you'd be like "oooh, she's stylish." If you saw me walking down the street in a qi pao, you'd be like "what boat did she just hop off of?"

Outside Club TAO

Vegas was absolutely amazing! Everything is so lavish and flashy. It was like walking into a dream. I think everyone should try to go at least once in their lifetime.

Still trying to recuperate from the trip. The last two days there, I slept probably a total of 3 hours. Fantastic night life! We mainly hit up Playboy Club & Ghostbar in the Palms, Pure Nightclub in Caesar's, and The Bank at the Bellagio. They sprayed foam in the crowd at the Bellagio, and it was the most glorious moment of my life. Kidding... sort of. Not to mention, Bradley Cooper was there!

If there's two things I learned in Vegas, it's 1) quit while you're ahead and 2) cut your loses ;)

Hello lovely ladies! Long time no see. I know I'm becoming quite notorious for being "that blogger" who never posts anymore. Sorry! But I am definitely still keeping up with all your blogs, and I'm loving it all. Wish I had time to comment on everything.

I promise once finals are over, I will spend my entire winter break dreaming up outfits, finally stocking my closet sale with some amazing clothes, and posting pictures I take at my upcoming Birthday Bash and Vegas! Definitely be on the lookout.

The outfit pictured above was snapped quickly in the dressing room as you can see. I treated myself to this outfit for my birthday. A little scandalous, but you're only young once. I love that the bodysuit was an affordable (and slightly less risque) alternative to the American Apparel one.

Oh by the way! The American Apparel model in that picture goes to my school. How crazy is that?! She is just as pretty in person as in pictures.

Forgive me, bloggers, for I have sinned.
I know it seems like I've stopped blogging, but that's only because I've stopped blogging.

Senioritis is seeping into every crevice of my life. (And yes, when spell check tried to correct the word 'senioritis', I chose to 'Add to dictionary'.)
Pretty sure I just veg all day. Class? Nah! Putting on pants? Nah! Ordering pizza? Yes please, I'll take a large.

Somehow, I thought being dormant would be more satisfying than this. I need to start doing something besides gain weight. That's why I'm finally making this post, vacuuming my floor, and putting on some pants. Time to get it together, woman!

Thank you guys so much for wishing me luck on all my interviews. They all went really well, and I actually ended up being accepted by all the schools. Yeah, I can't believe it either!

What's even more amazing is that I may be moving to New York City for optometry school next year! It's every fashion-obsessed girl's dream, and I'm absolutely in love with the school. Ridiculously excited to embark on this new chapter of my life. Until then, let the senioritis begin.

This is by far the longest I've ever gone without posting. Sorry about that guys! Been busy with the usual, you know, school, friends, boyfriend, etc etc... Haven't had time to take any pictures lately, but I'll try to get on it.

Couldn't wait to show you guys what arrived in the mail today! These babies, how I love them so, and they've only been in my possession for the last 30 minutes. Yet already, they have been inducted into the League of Extraordinary Shoes. Quite an honor for a rookie.

This coming week, I'll be jetting all over the country for interviews. First New York City, then Philadelphia, Southern California, and Boston. Busy busy, wish me luck!

This photo set reminds me of that one scene in Scrubs where Heather Graham joins the cast, and she walks through the door with her hair all sexy and wind-blown, and she remarks, "Wow, this is a really windy hospital," but it turns out JD and Turk were holding fans in front of her. Although, the result of my windiness was from opening the window.

Also missed out on Fashion's Night Out last night because I was feeling sick. Boo. Guess there's always next year. Did any of you guys end up going out?

Another blazer post, and to avoid being overly redundant, I finally took off my boots. After days of showering and sleeping in them, they are now resting in my closet.
Jokes jokes. I only slept with them on...

Please ignore my ridiculous bug bites. Remind me to write a strongly worded letter to the inventor of bug spray.

TIP: I always wear my blazers with the sleeves rolled up. Makes it look a lot better in my opinion. Rolling up the sleeves gives it a casual, "Oh this? I just threw this on" feel. Otherwise, they can look too formal and stuffy.

BUT I have noticed that backpacks are making a huge comeback. Practically every new bag is some form of an adorably slouchy drawstring backpack.
Who has two thumbs and already got a floral backpack from Forever21? Right here. I saw it coming like a little tiny train off in the distance. Psh naw, just got lucky I guess.

Got this Lucca Couture color block corset on sale for $10 from Urban Outfitters. It wasn't on sale in the store, but I remembered it as on sale online.

Retail Therapy

I don't know what's gotten over me lately, but I am even more trigger happy when it comes to the "Place Order" button. I didn't know it was possible to online shop more than I already did.

Just chalk it up to retail therapy. Stress relief from all this studying? I think yes.
(This would make more sense if I were actually focused on studying, and not so distracted by online shopping...)

Absolutely in LOVE with these babies. Everything about them is perfect.

I think when I buy things online, I'm like "it's just a number, not real money!" It's so much harder to spend $35 on a bag when I'm in the store... seeing it in real life... handing over my bills... SO MUCH HARDER.

There needs to be some waiver that acknowledges you're using real money. Or a pop-up notification that says "If you know someone with an online shopping addiction, call this hotline" (like the signs they have in casinos for gambling addictions.)

Maybe the first step to recovery is to remove the F21 New Arrivals page as my homepage...

Lately, my little 11-year-old brother has been taking my pictures for me. I don't know if you guys noticed a difference, but these are much better than my old ones (in my opinion).

Also, don't you guys just LOVE IT when you go to buy something thinking it's going to be $19.99, but it scans as $9.99. Happened to me today at Urban. I feel on top of the world!

Same sheer white shirt as the last post. This time, I dressed it down to be more casual. See? Told you this shirt was versatile!

Finally just sent out all my applications for 4 more years of getting the money sucked out of me for school. Yay! Hopefully, I actually get in somewhere.

I literally sat in front of my computer on a beautiful, summer Saturday for 7 hours straight hammering away at my personal statement. Longest brain fart I've ever had in my entire life.

And to top it all off, after I confirmed 50 times that I understood I wasn't allowed to make any changes after sending it in, I realized that all my apostrophes got turned into question marks by the website...

"I?ve worked as a technician?s assistant" -- the whole thing makes me sound like I'm not sure what I did with my life.

Now that I'm done with that pot of fun, it's on to the next one. I have 3 weeks to learn everything there is to know about science... GO!
