As if growing up wasn't awkward enough, imagine going through your tween years in the public eye. For Harry Potter's Emma Watson, that's just life. Transitioning from a gawky prepubescent to a budding fashion icon, millions of us have watched her become the young woman she is today. And while she didn't always hit the beauty mark, she's managed to maintain her youthfulness in a group of Hollywood peers who can't mature fast enough. Let's take a look at how she's evolved.

As a young girl Emma kept her look very simple and clean. She avoided the Harry Potter frizzy triangle hair with a straighter natural, free flowing style. A lip color enhancing gloss and the occasion hint of eye popping light shimmery shadow at the inner corners completed the look. Very age appropriate.

In an attempt to embrace her natural texture, Emma experimented with curls and bangs. Adding mascara and a subtle hint of blush to her beauty regime, she still looks very fresh but more polished.

In 2007 Emma's inner glam girl started to emerge. It's all about the subtle changes. Lighter, perfectly blown out tresses and the introduction of eyeliner and well defined brows are the key elements to this stage of her beauty evolution.

Finally, while promoting the next Harry Potter installment, The Half Blood Prince, we see that Emma has truly transformed into a beautiful young woman. She takes chances with her look adding edgy, dark eyeliner, bronzed skin or a wistful chignon to add drama and elegance to her style.

Britney Spears' latest campaign for Candie's is out, and the line looks pretty cute! The boots, while not the most luxe looking, have a fun style and I really like the floaty bohemian top. The faux fur vest? I'll take a pass. Brit will be wearing Candie's fashions in her new video for "Radar."

"I was so excited to wear Candie's in my 'Radar' video," Britney said. "I especially loved their jeans and cute dresses which were perfect for the theme of my video."

The Candie's collection will be available at Kohl's.

After her boutique-oriented first fashion project, Lauren Conrad Collection, went bust (well, has been put on hold indefinitely), the ex-Hills star has teamed up with Kohl's to release LC Lauren Conrad Collection. It comes out in October and will be priced at $20-$60!

With the a part 2 to LA Candy coming out in 2010 and this Kohl's collaboration - it looks like LC will not stay completely outta the fame game, after all!

Fashion: Investment Pieces: Summer Fashion Trends That Will Last Through 2010

There are some trends that last season after season: leggings, floral prints, gladiator sandals, etc. Then there are those that fade away: baby doll tops, harem pants. How are you supposed to know which trends to trash and which to invest in? Luckily, fashion is already way ahead of you. Fall 2009 and Resort 2010 collections have already been released, and Spring/Summer 2010 is in the works. For most designers, Resort is a preview of what's coming next. Therefore, the collections provide great insight into what will be hot and what will be not for summer 2010.

We scoured the Resort looks of all the top designers - from Stella McCartney to Brian Reyes to Prada - and compiled a list of summer fashion trends that aren't going anywhere:

One shoulder tops and dresses are chic without being too revealing. Don't wear too much jewelry with this look as it makes a statement on its own.

Which short-lived trends should you buy at cheap-chic retailers? There's no way to be sure, but it doesn't look like neon brights, fringe details, studs, or harem pants will be hanging around much longer.
