This is it, I'm throwing in the proverbial towel.

I have to thank my husband for taking this one from 'above' looking down.
If he had taken this photo from the water's edge looking up, there may have been only one of us coming home

Isn't it amazing how the same camera, from moment to moment,
can go so right or......so, so wrong?

It's all about the angle (and yes, we've been hearing that for years).

For those of you still rockin the bikini, more power to you.

If you got it flaunt it!

Now that I'm on the verge of 52, I'm actually okay with this right of passage.

I'm loving the sophistication and ease of a one piece.

I'm good with it........

and frankly that statement is a metaphor for life
and about much more than just wearing a bikini.

I'm good with it........living, aging, changing....
because I am still living.

that is flattering and chic. I love being able to

throw on a sarong or flowing skirt, a few bangles and lip gloss, to be ready for

poolside cocktails or even a casual dinner by the beach.

It's More About the Girlfriends than the Sex.........

Did you watch back in the day?

I know it may seem fluffy, a little shallow, but I'll admit it...........

I miss the girls. It would be fun to see how they are all negotiating

life 15 years later with peri-menopause and middle age.

Last week marked the 15th Anniversary of the debut of the ground-breaking HBO series Sex and the City. I must admit, I came a little late to the party. I was recently divorced, living in the San Francisco bay area, and finding my own path about the same time the show debuted. I would have enjoyed being a regular viewer but could not afford to splurge on HBO during the heyday of the show. In the years since I have definitely caught up and feel under the spell just a bit.

Ironically, even though I couldn't afford HBO to watch the show, my girlfriends and I were grappling with some of the same issues during this particular time in life.

Like this classic conversation about soul mates:

By the way, do you believe in soul mates??

Sex and the City was about friendship among women, first and foremost. Yes, there was a bit of, usually, humorous sex.....(and yes, sex happens-in both the city and the country),

there was the love story with Mr. Big (and I must ask are you more a fan of Mr. Big or Aidan?).

To me, the heart of the series was always about the relationship between the women and

I think the show was incredibly well written. The voices seemed authentic for what my friends and I were dealing with. Is it just me or do we see a bit of each character in our own distinct personalities (see I am a psychologist after all)? In my early 20's, as a new bride and a pastor's wife, I was most definitely a Charlotte. In my late 20's, following a breakup and moving to Los Angeles....... I was.....well, enough said. We all figure it out in time and end up writing our own stories.

In looking at a few clips to put this post together I also noticed some other trendsetting from SATC that continues to influence our culture:

*Shoes~pure, unadulterated shoe crushes (Manolo Blahniks or as Carrie addressed them, "Hello Lover").

*Cities~A tribute and love story to the iconic New York City and in later years, amour in Paris.

*The inner voice~Carrie at her computer, random thoughts, asking the questions, writing.... (hello bloggers~have you ever channeled Carrie in a post? How would Carrie write that?)

*The Balloons~a quick look at Pinterest tells me that our infatuation with balloons is still going strong.

*Cupcakes~Magnolia Bakery on Bleecker Street in the West Village here.

As we all know, when girlfriends get back together, even for packing and moving, it's a special occasion.......Pop the cork!

And somehow, we always end up picking up exactly where we left off.

It' a quick morning post for me today. This afternoon I'm hosting an End of the Year Bash for my teachers, clinicians/counselors and administrators of my programs for students with Emotional Disabilities. Today is the last day of school and we will celebrate the end of a fantastic year.

It's a pretty casual annual event with easy fare and lovely wines.

Today will be a hot one so I'm not wanting to do any baking to heat up the kitchen. I'm serving the easiest recipe for a party- ever! It's perfect for a day like today. Put it together in the morning and by the time you arrive home the aroma will fragrance your kitchen and it will be ready to serve.

Slowcooker Salsa Chicken Tacos

*Slowcooker

*3-4 Chicken Breasts (fresh or frozen)

*1 (24 Oz.) Jar Salsa

*Lime juice and slices

*Corn or Flour Tortillas

I like to garnish with:

*Sour Cream

*Cilantro

*Avocado Slices

*Squeeze of Lime

Add salsa and juice of 1 lime to slow cooker and stir to combine. Add 3-4 chicken breasts to slow cooker and coat well with the salsa mixture. Cover. Set slow cooker on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.

When finished shred chicken with 2 forks to absorb liquid. Serve with tortillas, sour cream, cilantro, avocado and squeeze of lime if desired.

I wore my new nude and gold Sam Edelman sandals to graduation last weekend. The wedge heel is low enough that they were comfortable to wear and walk all day. They come in a zillion colors. I think they looked particularly good with my new summer favorite polish, 'Glamorous Life' from Deborah Lippmann. It's the

perfect mix of gold with a touch of silver.

I want to go where she's going!

When I was too ~~pressed for time~~ lazy to scan my pre-digital camera photos for a French Party post a couple of weeks ago I let Claudia Schiffer play the role of 'me' frolicking on the French Riviera here. Turns out it was much easier than either scanning old travel photos or working out the details of an outfit post.

It's a funny thing. I have a complete block about posting this week. Normally when I sit down to create a post I have a million ideas floating around in my head. This week nada, zip, squat........

I started questioning what I really have to offer in these posts. Notice I said 'create' a post rather than 'write' a post. I definitely don't consider myself a writer. I read something about having an editorial calendar and scheduling posts well in advance and media campaigns and all manner of official sounding work. I tend to write my posts one at a time with no real planning and no back up plan. Which is why a block can lead to a time such as this. No matter, I've got plans for the weekend so such thoughts will have to wait.

It's a busy weekend for us as we hit the road for 3 out of town graduation celebrations. Two of my beloved nephews, Jordan and Jared, are graduating this week so it's an exciting time for our family. I don't write about their mom, my sis Heidi, often since she is a pretty private person. I say private but back in the day my little sis not only read my diary but she actually answered some of the questions

I had posed in my 'private' diary.

Say WHAT??

I had written "Do I love______________? " and she had inserted the name of a boy I liked- in pen-as I later discovered. My secret diary was not so secret after all.

It's very funny....now! ;)

Heidi has a great sense of humor and memorized a couple of passages of that diary. I was 16, and for the first and last time, fancied myself a writer. I had written something like, "Moonlight Sonata is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written. Listening to it now brings memories rushing over me like a flood".

I know, extra cheesy, but I was 16, a hopeless romantic and 'in love'.

Just for fun, my sister loves to quote that passage to me now and then- and we all laugh.

Recently we are all hanging out together and on cue she and my nephews, 14 and 18, burst into a rendition of my 16 year old prose, "Moonlight Sonata is one of the most beautiful pieces of music...memories rushing over me like a flood........" the legacy lives on.

I laughed until I cried.

I love my family!!

Despite the whole diary reading and editing thing, I adore my sister.

We may look totally different since we were both adopted at birth. I grew up hearing all about that gorgeous red hair of hers from total strangers. We are 'real' sisters through and through.

I am smiling because I remember when Heidi went into labor with her first baby, Jordan. I was thrilled that she wanted me to be there. I immediately hopped a plane and made it to LA to be part of the miracle of Jordan's birth. As it turns out, with my own fertility issues, that was the only time I was able to share such an

amazing experience and I'll never forget it.

I am forever grateful that my sister has let me share her boys.

I am one proud auntie this week and that makes me smile......creative block or not!

There is something so intriguing to me about a woman's dressing table. It's distinctive and so very personal for every woman. Perhaps it's the hand-selected mementos, photographs, the trinkets, the hint of a memory that intrigue. Maybe it's her makeup~the eye shadows, the lipsticks and fragrances that speak to personal style. It's been quite sometime since I've done a post on my dressing table and I do have some new lovelies to share.

In looking to do some rearranging of my own dressing table today I looked around for some photographic inspiration. I've always loved this image.
Blooms, color, gold jewelry, sparkling crystal and a little shine....it's perfection.

This table has an entirely different vibe and I adore the tumble of flowers, jewelry, pops of color. It's eclectic, slightly vintage (maybe circa 70's) and check out that

pull-out tray of silk scarves. Swoon!

'This is my first version of 'my dressing table today' inspired by my love of mixed metals. I can't get enough of the interplay between silver, graphite and gold these days whether it be in decor or fashion. A few of my favorite things help create this mood. My vintage dressing table, purchased here in Chico from our favorite Eighth and Main Antiques (we had a boutique "Belle Vie Chic" here several years back). The vintage embellished vase is a gift from my mother, Jeri, from her collection. The chevron clutch was a gift from my husband and the bowl, a gift from Lily (of Lilet Jean!) has an ikat feel (she always finds the perfect gifts!). The jewelry~ gifts from my husband (the sparkling bracelet from J. Crew and the gold hoops from my sista, Dorie-love! The gold beads are vintage and were Margies (my mother-in-law). I rounded it out with Kenneth Cole and D. & G. Perfume and my Dior makeup palette purchased in Paris-Oh la la. Finally, my favorite photo of us, on our 10th Anniversary, in San Francisco (He's actually my favorite thing!).'

I picked these fragrant, creamy gardenias from our garden this weekend. Float them in a dish with a splash of water and they fragrance a room beautifully for at least a week.

That reminds me, I should take a few to my office today for a little fragrant luxury to calm the end of the school year madness.

A simple touch like this can always make

life a little sweeter.

Is it just me or is May the new 'holiday season'? With mother's day, parties, graduations and end of the year celebrations.....I'm having all kinds of fun. It was a road trip for us last weekend so I'm happy to be home this weekend. The best news is that's a three day weekend....perfect. What are you up to?

I have a few favorites to kick off the summer season:

For your summer party sound track this one is a must

Play this 'Lovely Day'

I'm in the mood for some puttering around the kitchen and clean eating this weekend.

(recently discovered the background de-focus feature on my camera)

The strawberries are so perfect this time of year. I often toss them into a field greens salad with fresh goat cheese and a citrusy balsamic and olive oil dressing.

I may consider this strawberry tart that I made for Mother's Day brunch. I ended up sprinkling it with a dusting of powered sugar.

The crust is the pate brisee from Martha Stewart here

(I haven't made a pie crust in years-not much of a baker but this one was an easy classic).

The filling is lemony cream cheese filling is to die for

#don't leave me alone with a spoon

For the filling:

9 ounces (250g) cream cheese, at room temperature

3 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon good quality vanilla extract

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Cream all of the ingredients together in a small mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Spread into cooled tartlet shells.

Cut strawberries lengthwise into quarters and arrange on top of the cheese in a pyramid shape.

To give the tartlets a glaze, melt 3 tablespoons of red currant (or other red jelly) with one tablespoon of water and brush over strawberries with a pastry brush.

I'm still enjoying the fragrance of these white lilies.

What Do Women Want...(I know what I want-do you)?

What do women want?

I'm not talking about the needs here-

those are vast and deeply individual and deserve more than a quick blog post.

I'm talking about the little things in life~

the simplicity of a peaceful moment,

a sweet memory shared with a best friend,

the thrill of adventure,

a gorgeous scent,

an unexpected smile

......or embrace.

I've been asking myself this question recently and have come up with a few elements in my life that are not needs, but little things that make my life more enriched.

Fresh flowers- These little beauties (pictured above) are from my mom's garden that she arranged for Mother's Day brunch at our home last Sunday. Lovely! Flowers bring their fresh, natural beauty (and fragrance) indoors for us to enjoy. It's always nice to receive flowers, especially for no reason (sometimes they are attached to an 'I'm sorry'-don't get me wrong that works much better than nothing).

Flowers for no special reason IS special.

Lovely ambiance-Setting the mood at home-whether the mood is of creativity, relaxation, a party or a little romance-for me always involves a flickering, freshly scented candle. I am sensitive to some fragrances so I'm not talking about those knock you down kind of artificial fragrance candles at the mall.

I seek mine out on travels or from favorite websites. My highly prized Diptyque Tubereuse is burning at the moment. Another favorite is Lafco in Marine from a trip to NYC last spring. I carry

Dayna Decker in the boutique and the scent is lovely here.

Set the mood with a little flicker and you never know where it will take you.

A Bit of a Splurge-whether it's sleeping in late (or staying in jammies all day)

that decadent flourless chocolate cake (for one),

splurging on the perfect new handbag (for which we saved up),

a gorgeous, rich night cream or perfume for beauty's sake (maybe that's a need?),

or a vacation away just to remember the 'why' of being a couple or why you love being single........

a bit of a splurge can go a long way.

On my dressing table

In my travels, especially in Paris, I tend to gravitate towards the elements that make life authentic, perhaps more ambient, in that part of the world. I find it fascinating to study what it would be like to 'live there'.

For this reason, one of my favorite places to visit in Paris is the French Pharmacie. Though not expensive, the quality, the fragrances, and the technology behind these French cosmetic brands impresses me.

My favorite purchases from my last trip to Paris were Nuxe dry oil, Nuxe lip balm, Caudalie serums, and green tea Roger & Gallet round pastel soaps. They end up being my treasured mementos of my trip and each time I use them I remember being in Paris. I know, sometimes it's just the little things that add a bit of pleasure to the day. These are lovely and practical purchases I will use or give as gifts.

Back to my pondering 'what do women want?'.

Not only do I travel, but I own an online boutique, Stylemindchic Boutiqe. I'm refining what

I want to be able to have at my fingertips in my day to day life

and what I want to be able to share with other women, like you, in the boutique.

I continue to adore my curated collections and the 2 fabulous designers I've included in the boutique,

I have recently connected with a supplier for french skincare, makeup, fragrance, hair care and beauty items

(Jurlique, Clarins, Avene, Darphin, Sisley, Decleor, La Mer, Clarins, Dior, Clinique, Lancome, and more) as well as American brands (Laura Mercier, Estee Lauder and more). I'm also now carrying cutting edge anti-aging skincare products (Peter Thomas Roth, Dr. Brandt, Perricone, SKII), luxury fragrances (Annik Goutal, Tom Ford, Creed, Bond 9) as well as spa, candles and aromatherapy (essential oils, bath products).

For me~it's what I want~and I want to be able to share it with you.

Mother's Day falls on Sunday and I know that many of us are busy making plans.

We will be celebrating the 'moms' in our family with a brunch at our home,

just as we did last year, especially my fabulous mom Jeri here

Spring Style

It was a simple but lovely weekend around the home front. A highlight was dinner with

dear friends, a couple that I've known through several chapters of life and who embrace my husband as if they have known him just as long.

We laughed all night and

left with that warm, happy feeling of shared life and shared history.

Roses are blooming,

Last Thursday evening I held my Stylemindchic Spring Style Session for several friends and colleagues here in Chico. It was a lively afternoon starting with shopping and style consultations at TJMaxx and ending with dinner at Cocodine Thai restaurant across the way. The evening was delicious in every way.

As we were racing around searching for just the right looks, I found myself asking my fashionista friends if they owned a maxi dress and decided to be quite emphatic that if they didn't they should try it.

My favorite reasons to maxi:

*Maxi dresses are total comfort dressing and chicer than yoga pants

*You don't need to have a tan or even shave your legs

*It's the perfect flowy number for entertaining at home

*You can sit or lounge comfortably (and not worry about keeping
your knees together-yep!)

*It's not a trend-it is absolutely here to stay in my book.

*You are always ready for a poolside cocktail party if one should arise.

I pulled a few of my favorites out of my closet and realized I'm a little maxi crazy but I'm not apologizing. The tangerine in the middle is my latest score, from TJMaxx, at the Style Session the other night. This one has a high low hem which is quite on trend. I see some fun summer soiree's poolside in this little number. I have a range from the more dressy Michael Kor's to a couple of high style but well priced maxis from Target (the electric blue and the black & white floral).

In other trivial news, I finally resolved my nude sandal dilemma following an

exhaustive online search.

I ordered these dream platforms from DVF from Zappos (my go to for clothes and shoes). I've had a shoe crush on DVF for a long time and finally made the move. They are uber stylish and sky, sky high. I love a high heel but reason finally prevailed and I returned them. I envisioned a twisted ankle in my future (and that's a first for me). For the price I knew I needed something I could wear comfortably (but I still wanted some shine) so my search on Zappos continued.

I exchanged the DVF for these little shiners from Sam Edleman. They have loads of style and an on trend vibe with the bold ankle strap. The wedge is only 3" high so they are a breeze as far as comfort and the gold tone detailing (strap and a touch on the heel) make them shine.

Looking at these colorful maxis I am reminded that at the style session we were looking at various shades of color, to see which were complimentary for which skin tones. I recalled a tip that I recently read in this book, 'The Power of Style', by Bobbie Thomas of the Today Show. She advises turning your wrist over and examining the color of your veins on your inner wrist. If they are greenish you will tend to go towards warmer, more golden tones of color and jewelry. If your veins show a bluer cast silvers and cooler shades will tend to work best for you. Both Bobbie and I have backgrounds in psychology so I appreciate her exploration of developing confidence and a personal brand for your individual style. Her chapters on body shape and the 'x' factor is a unique approach to choosing the best shapes for your shape

(and I finally realized why certain cuts make me feel boxy).

This is definitely worth a read as we define our individual styles.

My vision was feeling a little blurry until a trip to

Italy and France for my 50th birthday changed everything.

A couple of years ago, if you had pressed me for my dream it was something like a healthy, peaceful life with my husband and family, some great travel adventures and....(can I even admit this in writing?) creating a comfy home, 'a bit of a nest' for us. On the heels of several busy years helping to raise my 3 step-daughters, suffering two miscarriages, and the loss of my father and my mother-in-law, I was just sure my husband and I were due for a little peace........ I took that to heart and felt good about regular home cooked dinners, keeping the house well stocked, eliminating piles of laundry, keeping the bills and mail all caught up (and maybe a nap or a little trashy bravo TV).

You know, eliminating undue stress. There was lots of food network watching and cooking going on during that phase

(and dreaming up our next vacation to mix it all up a bit).

It was very nice...it was .....

a touch blah.

Before you judge me for sounding like a 1950's housewife (and I do adore the fashion on Mad Men), I will admit that my career as a school psychologist for students with emotional disabilities is intense. Working with students and families with such deep emotional issues can be draining and zap the good vibes right out of you. Summers off tend to help me recoup and gear up for the new year and I never take that for granted.

The summer of 2011 my husband and I traveled to Italy & France

to celebrate my 50th birthday.

And right there, in the midst of all that loveliness,

I felt it~

I had a realization that some of my dreams were finally coming true.

Eschew (a better word than the one I was thinking-yet they rhyme)

heartbreak, divorces, disappointments, loss......

Health, love, peace, travel.....we have it!

(I apologize for the side pony braid-first and last time-on my 50th-I think it had something to do with the champagne brunch).

Seize the moment ~
we are living the dream!

That realization opened a new chapter for me.

IF NOT NOW--when?

....do something...more!

I started thinking of my epitaph-

"She knew how to make a comfy nest, throw a party and plan a great trip-RIP".

I needed more.

As I clicked open my iPad to check emails, I discovered inspiring comments on the blog from my lovely blogging friends (from around the world) as well as some new friends, and learned that I had made 2 sales on my online boutique during the night......

and it was a glimpse of my future dreams.

A Clooney Caper in Cabo......living the life!

In the first year of writing my Stylemindchic blog there were several random George Clooney pop up sightings. I promise you it's only because he & I are almost exactly the same age, adore Italy and have some some gray in our hair these days (I mean.... I don't but...but I could if I wanted to). Most importantly all my shenanigans make my husband laugh (wink;) and frankly, a little eye candy never hurts.

During our recent getaway to Los Cabos word around the infinity edge pool at Secrets Marquis was that 'allegedly' George Clooney's house was right...next....door....to our hotel. Say What? He had been spotted several times and had even come up to hang out at the hotel on occasion.

Rumor has it.....

I've been coming to Los Cabos for roughly 25 years so I feel like a regular. Naturally I felt it essential to be friendly and welcome the new neighbors (Cindy Crawford's home is next door to George Clooney's).

~~What fun we could all have frolicking on the beach.~~

It's always good to be neighborly.

I hear the fish tacos they serve are to die for. I'm not a paparazzi but I have seen photos of GC and his current steady, Stacy Keibler, hanging out here with their blue golf cart.

What's this? Hmmmm the hammock right next to GC's beach house~that could be fun
(but I wouldn't dare, would I? I'm already in deep......)

Perhaps I could just sit here for a moment on George Clooney's beach. By that I mean the public beach in front of GC's home....but a girl can dream. Perhaps I'll even take off my hat and make myself at home.

Here is a close up of Cindy Crawford/Randy Gerber's home. Ahhhhh without disclosing the address (no stalkers allowed) here is this sleek, Mexican Contemporary beach house. Now mind you-we are simply exploring this enchanting style of Mexican architecture by taking these photos. Believe me there are many, many incredible homes on this stretch of beach in the El Dorado Community #takes my breath away.

On another day in Paradise my husband and I rented a car for an excursion. On our way back to the Secrets Marquis we noticed the entrance to the El Dorado Golf & Beach Club.

We were unsure whether it was gated so we made the turn and followed a couple of vehicles in. We saw no gate so we continued....wouldn't you? When I say these villas are breathtaking in their style of luxurious, contemporary architecture with old world details and natural elements believe me. The outdoor living spaces (as seen from the beach) show an abundance of sleek infinity edge pools, outdoor kitchens and al fresco living spaces beach side. #Livin the life!

As we were driving, we were waving (my husband has a thing about that in our gated community at home) and being friendly just liked we belonged. We had temporarily forgotten we were driving our little beater of a compact rental with the words AVIS in huge letters on the back. #Color me red. Did I mention we had ended up following the TRASH truck in? That's why there was no 'gate'. I'm not making a reference to trash truck and our rental car. It wasn't very glamorous and I'm sure we fooled no one.

And suddenly we were at the end of the road..........

the one that leads to George Clooney's house.

And I felt like a stalker, I felt shy, and I said, "Let's get the hello out of here!"

We turned around, a couple more snaps and fled in our little beater of a rental car.

And we followed this blue golf cart..............

Did we actually 'see' George Clooney? I see a blonde ponytail and a blue golf cart.......

you be the judge....we did have a fine little Clooney Cabo Caper.

If you enjoy a good dose of George Clooney, or a little adult humor, you may just enjoy this clip. It's an ad for an adult beverage and very 'tongue in cheek', the humor for which GB is famous. It's a little too neighborly if you get my drift. It was filmed at the beach house above.

All is well that ends well on a beachy vacation.

Speaking of a little color~if you find yourself needing some sun about now as I was.

This is my absolute favorite sunless tanning gel. It's from Hampton Sun and

I used it for a little color before my trip to Los Cabos. There is absolutely NO

funky smell to this even as your 'glow' develops later in the day. It has the signature privet scent and it stays that way. A must for pre-vacation or pre-bare legs season!

Come, join me....it's a gorgeous day around the neighborhood and

our front door Japanese maple is in full bloom today.

We live in Canyon Oaks, a golf community (we don't golf-more pool types here) in Chico, California. It is pretty serene and peaceful up here. Our home is up on a ridge with views of the valley and the coast range. You can see for miles & miles and we are a bit spoiled with the sound of 'silence'.

(*It's funny, I've been blogging for over a year and have never posted about my neighborhood.

I guess I'm a little shy that way #keeping it real)

Our development is called Siena, with an Italianate vibe and our builder even added a bocce court and waterfall for the neighbors on the loop. Michael Galli is really thoughtful about the details. There have been a number of bubbly-enhanced bocce games at this spot. Cheers to Michael G.!

Here we are back at our house.

I am so pleased that my succulents made it through a frosty winter.

(shhhhhh-they are each still in their individual containers from the nursery-I stuck them in one time just before a party and they are still going strong #lazy but works)

Welcome to our little neck of the woods.

With the decadence of an all-inclusive vacation behind us........#pigs at the trough......

there will be some clean eating and fresh bites for us this weekend.

Spring veggies like asparagus and artichokes abound-my favorites.

I grill lemons to enhance the flavors.

This is where you will find me later today (one of my favorite places)....the kitchen.

If we are lucky we may even see some pink clouds dancing in the pool at sunset.

at the All-Inclusive resort scene.....

I'll have a little of this...a little of that....

and so on.....and so on.........

*Getting your float on is better than therapy

*You will meet some fabulous 'escapees' from all over the world
(you know who you are;) and enjoy the lively conversations poolside.

* A little spa time, with a massage, gets you in the great escape groove

....even faster.

*There is no better lullaby than falling asleep to the sound of waves

Whether you are just returning from, or planning your next great escape,

looking forward is half the fun~so start making some plans.

Getting reacquainted with the idea of sleeping in with no alarm
Long, playful walks on the beach
Working on that highly prized skill of napping poolside
Lazy romantic dinners under the stars

Day dreaming
Unplugging.....from everything
Turning off the the iPhone, iPad, social media (somedays it's a must)
Having a dance party on our terrace, if we feel like it

Falling asleep to the sounds of the waves
Letting the seagulls be the soundtrack
Breathing deeply (read my post on the importance of this tool here)

Laughing...for no reason....except that you have absolutely no stress in the world
Not making a list and NOT checking it twice
Creating a worry free zone
Eating guacamole and chips each and everyday poolside
Seeking the most perfect margarita ever invented
Memorizing the sound of the crashing waves
Finding Peace on the beach in Mexico
