Could it be? A curvier model to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition? Rumors are swirling that last years Rookie of the Year and current Beach Bunny Swimwear model, Kate Upton might be this years cover model!

Kate is by no means a Plus Size model, but she is curvier that the average girls featured on the SI cover. With modeling gigs with Guess and Victoria Secret under her belt I think this would be her next big move!

We are keeping our fingers crossed for her! Find out who the cover model is when the cover is unveiled on Monday, February 13th on The Late Show with David Letterman.

Katie Halchishick, is a plus-size turned straight-size turned back to plus-size model. When she was in her teens she booked many jobs as a plus size model, but when she lost some weight the jobs came coming. She was in between size, to big for straight size modeling and too big for plus size.

"As I got smaller I had to wear fat suits and padding, and that worked [keeping clients] for a while,” she tells Fashionista. Her agent then suggested she get down to a size four so that she could do straight-size modeling, but that was not her ideal weight and wound up at a stable size eight. She has now started Natural Model Management, a modeling agency for girls like herself — who are often too small for traditional "plus-size" work, but still considered "plus" by straight-size modeling standards. I think this is a great step in the right direction. Beauty has no size; whether you are a 0, a 8 or a 16 there should be a variety of sizes featured in the fashion world. Hopefully we will start seeing more designers and magazines featuring healthier girls!

The SAG awards were last night and some of Hollywood's Plums came out on the red carpet and out shined some of the A-List stars!

I simply love Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji, she simply knows how to dress for her body and always kills it. The color looked amazing on her and the silhouette looks perfect on her.

Our favorite Plum funny girl Melissa McCarthy dazzled on the red carpet in a gorgeous navy blue dress by Badgley Mischka.

My favorite Glee starlet Amber Riley once again rules the red carpet. This girl always knows how to get it right! This is how you make black not look boring. This gorgeous Badgley Mischka dress highlights her curves so perfectly, it leaves you wanting more.

I was checking out one of my favorite Plus Size blogs today, "Madison Plus" and I fell in love with their post featuring Fine Bauer for Passionata. Not only because Fine looks stunning in the pictures, but because the French Lingerie line is to die for. It is so delicate and feminine, perfect for Valentine's Day. To bad they don't carry it in the USA. For now we can dream...

The ubber talented Adele is on the October cover of Vogue UK. Shot by Sølve Sundsbø the songstress looks divine in a custom made Burberry lace dress.

In today's entertainment industry which is obsessed with "thin" its exciting to see a star that makes no apology for her fuller figure.

In the October issue of Vogue UK Adele says she is happy just the way she is and her voluptuous shape has never been an issue, she said: ‘I enjoy being me; I always have done.’

‘I’ve seen people where it rules their lives, you know, who want to be thinner or have bigger boobs, and how it wears them down. And I just don’t want that in my life.’

And it seems the people she surrounds herself with ensure she maintains a positive self-image.
She explained: ‘It’s just never been an issue – at least, I’ve never hung out with the sort of horrible people who make it an issue. I have insecurities of course, but I don’t hang out with anyone who points them out to me.'

The singing diva also said that she would like to be the face of a brand any time soon. She told the magazine: ‘I don’t want to see me plastered everywhere, before adding ‘If they offered me £10million, I’d be like f*** off. Besides if I was going to be the face of anything it should be the face of full-fat coke.’

A few months ago I discovered an amazing fragrance line called Lifetherapy. Immediately I became obsessed with their "Escape" scent. With its hints of Gardenia's-one of my favorite flowers, pineapple leaf and pikaki, every time I wear it I feel like I can escape into my own world!

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting the creator and owner of the line- Lynette Lovelace at Henri Bendel's. After hearing her story and how she came up with the concept for the line I became truly inspired!

The concept behind Lifetherapy is that "fragrance is more than what we wear, it's how we feel when we wear it". Whether you are in a mood to flirt or play, want to escape, be on vacation or simply chill, you will be sure to find a scent that suits you.

What I love about Lifetherapy is that each scent truly represents its name. I tried vacation for the first time last week and even though I was walking through 5th Ave in the middle of the day on a Friday and wasn't able to find a cab, I decided to walk home and truly enjoy the city and made the rest of my weekend a staycation!

America Ferrera is Married

Ugly Betty has officially become a Bride. I am talking about the shows star America Ferrera who married her longtime boyfriend Ryan Piers William last night.

The couple tied the knot in an intimate setting amongst close friends and family. The bride wore a dress by Amsale's Christos label and Fred Leighton earrings.

The couple, who became engaged in June 2010, first met when Williams cast Ferrera in his student film at the University of Southern California.

I am obsessed with America's dress! It looks gorgeous on her.

I know I am a little late with this post but I had been out of town and had not had a chance to write about it. But better late than never...

Last week the plus size community lost one of its biggest icons when model Mia Amber passed away. I never personally met Mia but I saw her multiple times at different events in the city and she always carried herself with such elegance and charisma. She always had a smile on her face and looked fabulous. Mia was a huge advocate for the plus size community and will be truly missed.

My condolences are with all her friends and family.

In her honor her family has started the Mia Amber Fund.
