This type of technology might bring about Frankenstein images of huge plugs and wires attached to a make shift man with a vocabulary of three words and a grunt. Subliminal technology is the secret art of inserting powerful messages within the mind and change us into the six million dollar character superstar. It sounds out of this world and it sounds like something from a science fiction film but this technology is real and has been around for many, many years. Of course it was deemed illegal – we have all heard about the advertising drama and how some big wig companies have been using this technology to influence purchasing decisions. 50 years later and now the industry of personal development has raised from the dead this technology. Some of us may still be wary but I will share with you all 3 secrets of subliminal technology that you might never have known about.

Number one. The technology is completely safe. It’s almost like being in a meditative state and using the power of sculptured messages to reprogramme the mind and give you new drive, new life and even get rid of some of the more horrible habits that are actually going to ruin your life. This technology cuts through all that and just reaches out with some magic hypodermic syringe and places these messages and advices right in the subconscious mind – going past the stubborn conscious shield. You control what messages you want to place inside and the process is completely in your control.

Number two. The technology is fast and completely effective. The mind is the most powerful thing in the world and once you have a positive suggestion in it, it will guide you throughout the rest of your life. It works unconsciously – so you don’t literally feel it or even know that it is working – until you realise you feel better, you feel healthier and you finally able to kick that habit you always wanted to. It feels like second nature – it feels like you were meant to succeed. The treatment is not life a patch on your neck; it’s like installing a new programme that is better, cleaner and more effective. Imagine it to be akin to getting an upgrade for the operating system of your computer – and you’ll have a good idea of what I am on about.

Number three. It is so simple to apply – the methods of delivery have been honed down to perfection by the scientific community in such a way that all you have to do sometimes is to turn on your music player or load a data CD into anything with a monitor. It is weaved into peaceful sounds, brilliant images and can be as simple as watching a short movie. Audio CDs, tapes, talk-tapes, and DVD clips are just some of the ways this technology is being repackaged for your convenience.

What do the three secrets mean? It means you can now remove any doubts and do a bit more research and maybe, just maybe, try it out yourself one day.

There are certain skills that are necessary when you want to succeed in life and there are some that you need to religiously avoid. It’s not really all that black and white but opinions on the matter, no matter how divided they may be, agree that there are certain personal skills necessary that anyone must have to be a success. You can be a success too, all you need to do is master these personal skills and you will be well on your way to improving your position in life. Today, the discussion is on the top 3 personal skills and why they matter so much when you are thinking about fast forwarding yourself to a successful position.

When Richard Branson was on air for an interview, one of the many things he mentioned was people skills. He is a billionaire and sometimes you wonder why he needs people skills at all. Treating everyone around you with respect means most of the time, it will get reciprocated back onto you. “Do to others what you would have them do to you.” It might not be one of the Ten Commandments, but it makes a lot of sense to follow.

Likeable people normally do better then that guy in the office that everyone wants to do over with a stapler. People skills are the most important thing when it comes to a personal skill that will guarantee you success. Why? What if one day you meet someone and your people skills basically let you down? What you might not know is that he might be your potential employer, who might offer you a much higher pay, better opportunities and a world to conquer.

Even when it comes to colleagues or bosses, opportunities will come by faster and things will be easier for you if you have the right people skills. You must also have absolute faith in yourself, the kind of faith discussed in sermons. By having faith and belief in yourself, anything is possible because a positive attitude is half the battle one when finding your way to success. Don’t let yourself down with scathing remarks or excuses, find your potential by relying on the one person that can never and should never let you down – yourself.

Only then will you be set free from the doldrums of life and move on to greener pastures, grazing on the fruits of your hard earned labor. I think the last personal skill that is important is the ability to look fear in the eye and shrug it off. Whether it may be taking a risk, going to another country to work, quitting your job, learning a new talent or just letting loose and giving your 2 cents, fear is the one trait that is holding people back in the world today. We are ruled by fear – don’t be one of them. Laugh at its face, drop ice cubes down its shirt and you will conquer all. With these personal skills, you can be a success too if you want. Personality is the key denominator; use it to your advantage.

In the feel-good ledger of life, there are many emotional barometers in which you can measure success and while each may differ from person to person, there seems to be a common thread that binds them all to each other. The people who succeed are individuals, but they belong to a collective of human beings who have walked the walk and definitely can talk the talk. How can you measure success? Well, there isn’t a specific way, but from speaking to many people, you do find certain things that resonate with each other. This article, will try its best to make that measurement tangible, and hopefully something you can reach to and measure yourself up to, wherever you may be in your life in this day and age.

A feeling of completion. A feeling when the burn of ambition no longer singes the spirit. And not in a bad way. You start to look through life in a different kaleidoscope, a different light and you feel somewhat rested, mind body and soul and you feel like you have no need to prove yourself. Success is the measure of ambition and once both have reached their peak and there is no mountain to climb or ocean to traverse, the spirit relaxes and the mind slips into an almost meditative state of bliss. This is something that can be seen in the eyes of those who succeed, from their measured dialogue, their contented smile, the easy way that they choose to sit and how they treat others around them. There is no longer a need to size up competition and ruminate about life – it has given all it can and now is the time to waft with the waves to that final destination.

There are others who choose to measure success in terms of the material, in how much money they have made, how many acquisitions they have brought with them, the awards on their shelf, the badges pinned to their shirt. These are some of the ways that a population will measure their success with. The world as we know it will reward you in some way spiritual or material, and while the former might be noble, we cannot avoid that the human spirit will seek solace in the things they can touch and feel, the things that shine and have their named engraved upon. Even a pat on the back, a hand shake, an awards ceremony or an elegant letter – these are some things that life and our careers can reward us with.

Success comes in many forms and each person has a different way of how they have made their mark in life, in their careers and in the things that they treasure most to them. How they want to display it to the world and what feelings these measures of success give them. Look into your soul and you will know when you have hit the mark you may or may not have set yourself to achieve.

He said he would win eight gold medals and he did. It was that simple. He wasn’t arrogant, he wasn’t overly confident. He was just matter of fact. It was something he set out to do and as the world watched every stroke and every plunge, he did it to rousing applause and the screams of the commentators as they articulated their disbelief in more than 100 different languages. The world stood still for a moment and watched the machine called Michael Phelps take command of the cameras simply by doing.

Nike might have the tagline, but this man should be the new poster child for the ‘just do it’ revolution. Now all of us want to be like him, and this is no easy task. Not many of us can say ’this is what I want to achieve’ and get it. But why not? What is the difference between him, people like him and the rest of the world? All of us want to know Michael Phelps success principles and be like him in everything we do. Swimming, sports, work, life and play – these are the areas where we would like to excel in and I think just by looking at Michael Phelps can we understand what it is that drives him. Drive.

Ambition; it burned like a fire even through those goggles as the camera panned to his steel-like vision of confidence and focus. He did not waver and he did not shake but swam. He just did because his hunger was so great; his need to prove himself so surmounting that it cancelled out the rest of the world and made him a singular machine out to get the gold medal everytime he appeared on the grandstand on the edge of the Olympic swimming pool. Behind the story is a tale of hard work and months of countless training.

If you want something badly enough, you will do everything in your power to get it and Michael Phelps trained like he never trained before and out of the blue he became a success story like no other set against a historic event. Humility is also one of the principles you should have. No matter what you think, there may be someone out there better than you, faster than you, smarter than you and you can never measure your own personal successes in absolutes. This outrageous swimmer was no cocky sportsman after his victory; he acknowledged the need to further improve himself.

To be a success you have to recognise that sometimes, enough is never enough and that keeps the fire burning within you. While I may not be positive, and there may be more, I think these are the core principles that he kept close to his heart and made him such a success. These are the examples that we can follow, timeless advice that will apply to whoever we are, however old we may be and will give us the edge to success.

Achieving success in life all boils down to you. You are the most important quotient, denominator, figure, numeral and formula. What is this saying? Success and failure depends entirely on your own individual effort, and has nothing or very little to do with the world around you. Everything else is an excuse or a distraction and you should learn to faze them out, give yourself focus and rely on yourself to bring you head and shoulders past everyone in the all too familiar rat race in the world today.

This is a guide on ‘how to achieve success in life’ but it also recognizes that every individual is different. So this is more of a general formula on how most of you out there can change the way things get done around you and translate your efforts into real success. I think a very important thing is to know what you want and when you want it. Most of us are just wandering through life, uncertain of what we want and have no specific goals.

We are like spirits, ghosts; mere shades of the real people who are on a focused journey to their goals. This should not be the way. Success is sometimes all bout specifics and you have to be exact when you measure your goals. What exactly do you want? Don’t say things like ‘a millionaire by thirty five’ – that doesn’t leave much room for interpretation. How? What are you going to do? Will you be able to start from where you are?

Do you have to make any changes in your life? Be specific! Know what you want. Stop being fickle and keep changing your mind every 2 seconds. There is not enough time in a lifetime to keep hoping for a better alternative. Sometimes you have to take what you can get and make the best out of it for yourself. Grab it with both hands and shake all the bad things from it and let it clatter to the ground. Another thing is to wash away all the fear you ever had. It’s not easy, but it should be something you should work towards. Fear drives us and rules us and routes us from our successes.

Don’t be fooled. Everyone will have come by an opportunity when there is a risk to be taken and a change to be implemented in their lives, and some of us have turned way in fear – going back to the comforts of mediocrity and allowing opportunity to slip us by. The rest embraced their fear and took what courage they had to bring them forward. They are those who succeed and the rest – live in a life of convention and monotony – wondering each and every day ‘what if?’

Looking at the reasons the understanding is simple, you have the power to change anything you want. If you wait for the tide to turn to lead you to safety, then you will be lost at sea – not knowing what to do, only with the fear of drowning as your closest companion and worst enemy.

In the world today there is an unfortunate division; the weak and the poor; the successful and those who are not. My mission is to help those on the wrong side of the fence make up some ground and live their true potential. It is a study of personality, a study of what makes those who are extremely successful at what they do tick. This is an insight to why they have made it as far as they did and maybe you can compare to yourself. This way you might find a shortfall in your life and plug the leak with a chance of attitude and maybe even a change of mindset. These are the habits of the highly successful people and this is more than just an article with information, it could be the start of a newer you.

One thing I noticed is that highly successful people like to discuss about how they had overcome their fear of something. Usually it’s a fear of undergoing change or taking risks. There is always a story behind every successful overcoming of their fears and the start of their road to success. I think we can take this advice to heart and truly learn to shrug of that familiar feeling when it starts to creep up on us when we least expect it. That way, we are able to do anything and take risks that might lead us to a prosperous end. The world is ruled by fear and it is fear that is the great anchor that is weighing down humanity’s ship from moving off from treacherous waters and the safety of the island. Also think about where you want to be in ten years?

No answer?

That is the difference between someone who is successful and someone who may or may not be. They know where they want to be, what they want to do and exactly how they want to do it. It’s time to stop floundering waist deep in our own indecision and start to wade out of the mess and trek to a location. Indecision is the bane that keeps us from realizing who we are and eventually lifting the trophy of success high in the sky. Make up your mind. The only thing that should be fickle in this world is fish.

Start a plan and right down the milestones you want to achieve. Don’t estimate too long but set realistic goals in your life. These people also have an uncanny ability to sniff out opportunity, no matter how thickly disguised. While this is a stock market analysis of their personality, I think it should be one that you should follow. If no one took risks, half the world’s business would not exist today.

Don’t be allowed to be waylaid by approaching storms that could just be the shadow of the sun. Its time to rethink the life you have lived all this while and make some changes. I am not saying that you should emulate Bill Gates to a T, but try to think – how did he get where he is today?

Brian Tracy is man who for most of his life, made self help books and also recorded these publications as audio books which he distributed online. He was an expert on leadership qualities, how to be a good manager, how to succeed in sales and a pioneer in business strategy. He is known all over the world for his famous Phoenix Seminar, which was a motivational platform in which he spread his will and his word to the rest of the world. He was a mover, a shaker in the world of motivational speeches and he even has a college named after him, located in Andrew Jackson University in the U.S.A. What are his success principles, most of us have wondered that have launched him into a new level of excellence, where his name has become household and his teachings legendary.

We should all model ourselves after him, because in every sense of the word, he is a self made man who has achieved more than anyone can imagine. He taught the power of charm, the power of attraction, the power of success and the power of positive thinking and through his teachings; I can think we can discover the method behind his madness. Brian Tracy was a machine, who did not know how to stop, success was a goal that was constantly changing and constantly shifting, and he could never be truly satisfied. While one thing might vindicate his efforts, other things about it might spur him on to improve himself or to change his strategies so that he can reach higher and grow stronger.

He did not want to fail and his focus was legendary. From day to day he did not rest; he used the internet as an extension of himself. He was operating on an almost 16 hour a day basis only because he knew he had the potential to touch more lives and change more perceptions. He believed that he had a gift and threw every iota of passion that he had into it, driving him everyday, spurring him on at every turn. There was no stopping him, no telling him otherwise, no discouraging him. His horizon was overcome by a single vision to succeed and a vision to change as many lives as he can and he did not waver, he did not falter and he moved on to become on of the biggest success stories in the world.

We should all follow such tenacity and an unwavering belief in ourselves. How do you think he went from seminar to seminar, book to book, and even had an entire school named after him? It’s all down to a personal philosophy that was a bullet train to success. Brian Tracy’s success principles are not complicated, they are actually quite simple and they resonate in almost everyone who has surpassed a level of success that is in no other words but simply extraordinary. Be all that you can be with Brian Tracy’s success principles and unlock your very own mammoth success.

How do you know that you have succeeded? Well there are many traits of highly successful people you can compare yourself to and this article deals with some of them. Perhaps it is the binary code that you need to set yourself up against, as most of the prominent people in the world who are looking down on the rest of us share these traits. There are many, and some of them vary from person to person – and so to the convenience of the readers, I have distilled 5 traits of highly successful people to read about.

One has to be confidence and it is almost carbon copied in all the successful people that I have met. Not to be mistaken for arrogance, a highly successful person is able to exude an aura that will almost overpower you at the first meeting. A belief in one self and knowing that almost nothing in the world can deter them from reaching the goal that they want to is the sort of thing the greats are made of.

They also know what they want and almost never deviate. Their radar is fixed on a small blip that they are driving towards and they will not let anything in the way stop them from reaching this goal. Such focus, such tenacity are the key ingredients for anyone to start seeing massive success. They don’t wander and they don’t languish. They are in constant movement and highly purposeful.

They are also have an extreme amount of concentration and will never let a single piece of information be left out. Most of us in the world can barely sit through a 15 minute classroom without fidgeting but these people are the rocks of concentration that stand out from the rest of us. The waves of restlessness will sweep us away but for them, they are the rocks that stand firm.

That and a combination of hard work, will lead anyone to succeed. Hard work I think is 50% of the battle won and I you are willing to entrench yourself in whatever you do, then you will have a great chance of reaching the stars. They say that if there is a road to the sun, not many will be able to traverse it. You can be one of these people and hold the light in your hands. Led Zeppelin once said that there was a stairway to heaven – it’s time you make your own.

There was once a brand of t-shirt that had the adage ‘No Fear’ written boldly on it. And I think that this is the attitude that a lot of us should follow today. People who succeed in life have absolutely no fear of it and the only thing to fear – not to overly quote someone else – is fear itself. Don’t be afraid to take opportunities and seize risks to light up the pathway to success. A long time ago a man tied a key to a kite and challenged lightning itself to prove him right.

Here are 5 key principles to achieve anything in life. While they may not be as detailed as I’d like them to be, I will let the human spirit fill in the blanks. Have a read and it may resonate with you or it may not – but these are the very stuff that successes are made of.

Never, never, never allow yourself to be influenced by others! Yes, advice is a valuable thing but there is a difference between taking advice and following orders. The best thing is to get different viewpoints from different people and collating them in a scrapbook of ‘points of view’ Filter those which make sense, add a dash of personalized dialogue and listen to that small still voice in your head that represents your needs, your wants and your desires. The final solution should present itself but remember that advice comes everyday, so don’t be stuck in a stubborn rut that one day you might find you cannot get out of.

Be prepared to take criticism and react positively. Throwing a tantrum and assorted furniture around is not going to solve anything. Nor is being sullen and allowing your emotions block out criticism that can possibly save you from failure. Criticism is the tool that refreshes my perspectives in life and readjusts my goals and my strategies. Criticism is the strength that I draw from to renew my mission in life, which is to succeed in anything that I do. Don’t be foolish and block out the negative things being thrown at you because at the end of the day, it is these things that are the turnkeys to a critical realization that you might be doing things wrong or you might be going the wrong way.

Have a positive outlook because depression can kill your hopes, literally. Readjust yourself when ever you fail. Picking yourself up and carrying on is not just a cliché reserved for movies, but it is an adage that every successful person has lived by since the dawn of time.

Never, never take an easy route without first weighing the pros and cons. Notice how I didn’t say you should avoid it at all costs – shortcuts to success are not the devil’s butter and should be scratched out from any winning strategy but if you see a golden opportunity – take it. Working hard is one thing but working smart is another. Why allow yourself to sweat, bleed and tear for a goal you can achieve without a mammoth effort. Leverage – remember that word, because it could lead you to massive success.

Learn, and be on the constant journey to learn. Never be afraid to juxtapose yourself against your competitors or those who you think are on the same journey you are. If you have to emulate to escalate yourself above others, then do it. Take the good and leave the bad behind. Life is a constant journey of learning and once you master such a spiritual classroom, then and only then will your road to success be easier to tread on.

Starting a business is not easy and when you do, you are often faced with many problems and hurdles for you to climb. The market isn’t exactly healthy and the economy is in a tenuous position to say the least. What you need is key principles for business success, principles that will lead you all the way to success – because they are timeless tenets that can be applied to anything that you do. Once you have these principles in mind, of which I will give you 4, you will be able to get a clearer view on how you will structure your corporate strategies and your business structure. Hopefully, with these, you will be able to see the light at the end of the business tunnel – just a little bit clearer.

Good money management. Money is the core and the foundation of any business and without it, you won’t have anything else to do. Dollars and cents, currency; it is the basis of why you started to work for yourself in the first place. Make sure that there is a system in place where your money is being managed and you should know at any one time where it is, where it is being invested and how much you are using compared to how much you should be using every month. With a heads up view on your money and the ability to plug a leak whenever you can or reroute to another location, then your business has an extra edge to succeed.

Take calculated risks; it is the mantra of many successful businessmen, Donald Trump being one of them. Look where he is today and with the same attitude, you might be well on your way to appearing on your own TV show where you can fire people on air. All jokes aside, you should always take calculated risks if there is a potential to make money. Do so wisely, make sure you set a side an amount that you can risk and do go above it. Taking a risk doesn’t mean jumping in, study as much as you can about your next move before making it.

Value employees because they are the ones who manage the ins and outs of your daily business needs. Without them, your business can be crippled and you do not want to be in a position of a complete walkout. Be a good boss and make sure a great welfare system is in place. Listen, understand and comply – you were an employee once too and when you are able to lower yourself to that level, no matter how high up you are – then your business will be better off for it.

Last but not least, have passion for what you. Once you love your business you won’t see it as much as a job but an opportunity for you to pursue something you truly enjoy and make something of it. Love what you do and you will naturally put more effort into it. Things won’t seem like a chore and a success and failure will resonate deeper and harder with you than if it was just a mechanical job.
