A Simple 3 Stage Blackjack Strategy

I love Blackjack, but if I’m honest, I get a little frustrated having to constantly consult the strategy cards.

I know why the strategy cards exist – to lower the house edge (put simply, the house edge is the percentage of money bet that the casino expects to win) to as close as 1% as possible.

But because the ultimate strategy must cover every possible combination of your cards and the dealer’s cards, I find them too complex to memorize exactly. The result is that I’m taking time away from the game to pore over the charts to see what the optimal move is. All of which reduces my enjoyment of the game.

And of course, this is only possible when I’m playing Blackjack online. If I were playing it at a real bricks and mortar casino, I’d be politely asked to leave before I’d made half a dozen bets!

The ideal Blackjack strategy would be easy to remember and apply, and result in a house edge of 1%. Of course, that ideal can’t exist, so all Blackjack strategies are a compromise between those two goals – simplicity and accuracy.

Any strategy is going to be more or less inclined towards one of these extremes. When choosing a strategy, your decision comes down to which end of the scale you want to be at – do you want an easy strategy with a lower chance of winning, or a complex one that means that the last 0.01% has been shaved off the house edge?

Personally, my ideal is one that is smack in the middle – a strategy that has an acceptable house edge, but which is so straightforward that I can just get on with playing and enjoying the game.

After studying the available strategy cards, I’ve devised a strategy that is intended to take players from beginner to high roller in 3 easy stages.

The beauty of this is that as you master each stage, you add on the next one when you feel ready, but you can always step back down again when you don’t!

The house edge is a little over the optimal, but the accuracy (ie the percentage of times it makes the right call) is around 98%. But what’s important is that it’s really simple to remember (even the third stage.)

Although not complex, it’s easier to present the strategy in tabular form. Paintball -- Retreat to Win

Suppression is a way of distracting the opponent so that they fall short by not seeing the other team that is already starting to invade. Suppression's goal is not to get rid of enemies. Control and concentration are needed to keep a team member from shooting.

A team who uses suppression as a tactic should consist of three or more players. Each member must know that their main objective is not to eliminate the other team's members; although that could be true in other events. Movements during this game should be accurate and targets must be aligned in order to make sure that the opposing team is unaware of the suppression. A steady target and aiming of fire from the suppression players must not be in unison to leave the enemies with a puzzled feeling.

When making an assault, two or more of the paintball players who are making the suppression constantly distract one of the opponent's players in order to disguise the players who are about to invade and attack the opposing team. Suppression often conceals the other players and if done well, would eventually destroy the enemies who would have to retreat and could soon be eliminated when caught.

The other role that is played by the rest of the team is invading. The players that are involved in the invasion must try very hard to hide themselves from the opponents while the suppression team is doing their job. This requires patience, control, and discipline to keep from firing in order to save the position. Make sure that with one shot severe damage to the opposing team is incurred rather than firing at one enemy player that did not realize the invader was there.

The invasion players target at least the majority of the opposing team's players. Once they are in position to capture the flag, they must fire with great power and with full force. Since paintball guns are really loud, as soon as players start hitting target it must be accurate as there is no turning back. Enemies will know where the guns are firing from so the invasion team will have to incur damage all at once to keep the opponent from counter attacking. This will be shown by the amount of paint that is shot at the other team.

How a Panic Disorder Evolved into Scientific Theory

The Theory of Evolution is the widely held notion that all life is related and has descended from a common ancestor. The theory is anchored on the premise that “homo sapiens” or modern man came from an ape-like ancestor. It made it seem possible that even people might just have evolved quite possibly from apes and destroyed the prevailing and conventional facts on how the world began and how men were created. This theory was well-documented and studied by the first of the evolutionary biologists named Charles Darwin.

Charles Robert Darwin was born on 12 February 1809 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire into a wealthy and well-connected family. His maternal grandfather was a china manufacturer Josiah Wedgwood, while his paternal grandfather was Erasmus Darwin, one of the leading intellectuals of 18th century England. Darwin himself initially planned to follow a medical career, and studied at Edinburgh University but later switched to divinity at Cambridge. In 1831, he joined a five year scientific expedition on the survey ship HMS Beagle.

Darwin worked on his theory for 20 years. After learning that another naturalist, Alfred Russel Wallace, had developed similar ideas, the two made a joint announcement of their discovery in 1858. In 1859 Darwin published “On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection.” During his teenage years, Darwin suffered from a mysterious and debilitating condition that various authorities attributed over the years due to bad nerves, tropical disease, arsenic poisoning, intellectual exhaustion, dyspepsia, and other complaints. According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, Darwin's symptoms were most likely a form of panic disorder aggravated by agoraphobia.

Panic disorder, which affects an estimated 13 million Americans, manifests itself in unexpected attacks of extreme anxiety, with symptoms including rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, trembling, sweating, nausea and dizziness. Some victims feel as if they are losing their minds or are about to die. Many become so obsessively worried about subsequent attacks that they make major changes in their behaviors, shunning whatever situation the could prompt another panic attack. It is twice as common in women as in men. It can appear at any age; in children or in the elderly. Often, it is manifested more strongly among young adults. Darwin was 27 when his illness first became severe.

Not everyone who experiences panic attacks would develop panic disorder. Many people only have one attack but never have another one. For those who do have panic disorder, if left untreated, the disorder can become very disabling. Panic disorder is often accompanied by other conditions such as depression or alcoholism, and may lead into phobias, which can develop in places or situations where panic attacks have occurred.

A lot of people who suffer from panic disorder can be successfully treated without resorting to the use of any medication. However, when medication is needed, the most commonly-prescribed class of drugs for panic disorders are the benzodiazepines (such as clonazepam and alprazolam) and the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors or SSRIs antidepressants. It is rarely appropriate to provide medication treatment alone, without the use of psychotherapy to help educate and change the patient's behaviors related to their association of certain physiological sensations with fear. Most specialists agree that a combination of cognitive and behavioral therapies are the best treatment for panic disorder.

The key symptom of panic disorder is the persistent fear of having future panic attacks. If one suffers from repeated (four or more) panic attacks, and especially if he or she have had a panic attack and are in continued fear of having another, these are signs that you should consider finding a mental health professional who specializes in panic or anxiety disorders.

Relaxation techniques can further help someone go through an attack. Techniques include breathing retraining and positive visualization. Some experts have found that people with panic disorder tend to have slightly higher than average breathing rates. Learning to slow the breathing rates can help someone deal with a panic attack and can also prevent future attacks. Anti-anxiety medications may be prescribed, as well as antidepressants, and sometimes even heart medications such as beta blockers that are used to control irregular heartbeats. A support group with others who suffer from panic disorder can as well be very helpful to some people. It can't take the place of therapy, but it can be useful and comforting.

Experts believe that the great scientist Charles Darwin might not have revolutionized biology if not for the disorder he dealt with. He became a scholarly hermit that produced a very controversial theory while he was then under a “mysterious” condition. The symptoms of panic disorder arose shortly after he started a secret notebook that, 22 years later, would become his book-length elaboration of one of the greatest contributions ever made to science.

A misplaced cup of coffee, a forgotten and melted crayon, a wad of gum tracked into the car on the driver’s shoe, or a sick puppy can present a daunting cleaning problem. If the problem was neglected when it was fresh, or if it was only partially cleaned and then allowed to age with the car, it may be extremely difficult to remove. It is always best to deal with stains immediately.

By and large, the same product that will clean a leather or vinyl chair should work on a leather or vinyl car interior. Automotive carpeting should respond to the same techniques as household carpet, depending on the fibers used. The same can be said for fabric upholstery. Therefore, the first step in cleaning your car’s interior is to determine what it is made of.

Second, try to determine what may have created the stain. This step may be difficult if the stain has been there for a while or if you have just acquired the car. Spilled cola and grease may leave stains that are similar in color, but they would respond best to different types of spot removers. It is important to choose the correct automotive cleaning products for the job or stain.

Unusual stains should be dealt with first, before an attempt is made to clean and refresh the entire interior surface. Gum or other, similar, sticky substances need careful handling. There are products available now that will freeze them in place, changing their chemical composition, and thus allowing for easy removal by scraping them away.

Other messes, like the above mentioned crayon, also need special handling. Crayon is wax based, but also has pigment. Its removal may need two steps and two entirely different products, depending on how badly it has melted into the fabric. A product specially formulated for crayon removal is a good first step.
Sugar-based food and drink spills on fabric, even old ones, can be removed with a good spot remover. This step should be followed by a thorough steam cleaning. If these stains are on the stitching of vinyl or leather, they may respond to the spot cleaner alone. Grease-based stains should respond to being blotted with a good degreaser, such as Formula 21 Grease Stain Remover.

Once all the unique stains have been dealt with appropriately, give the interior a thorough, all-over cleaning, depending on the upholstery type. Leather and vinyl can be cleaned with a specially formulated product such as Fuller Vinyl and Leather Cleaner. Built-up grime on older seats may also respond to washing with a good degreasing product such as Fulsol All-Purpose Degreaser. Fabric seats and carpets should be able to handle a thorough steam cleaning. Care should be taken to not get the fabric too wet. Because the upholstery and carpet cannot be removed to dry, work slowly in small areas, and only dampen the surface enough to remove the soil. Leaving the doors and or windows open for a while after the cleaning is complete may also hasten the trying time. Check with the manufacturer before treating or steam-cleaning antique fabrics.

The levels of harmful gases in the environment are costing society financially, economically and physically. Most people are aware of the damaging effects that exhaust emissions have on air quality conditions, but what do these emissions cost to society in monetary terms?

Our analysis showed that the social cost of driving a vehicle varies significantly with the fuel type used. In a small town, Diesel results in social costs of 3.84 per 1,000km, petrol 1.04 and LPG 0.55p. In a large city, Diesel costs 32.70 per 1,000km, petrol 6.08 and LPG 2.33.

The cost of running alternative vehicles such as LPG cars is dramatically less than standard petrol and diesel vehicles and does not require higher maintenance levels. Further benefits include reduced engine noise, smoother vehicle running, exempt from congestion charges and low duty taxes. Having more vehicles running on LPG engine in the UK would assist in reducing emission costs to society while improving air quality.

เมื่อเวลา 08.00 น. วันที่ 5 ต.ค. น.ส.ยิ่งลักษณ์ ชินวัตร นายกรัฐมนตรี โพสต์ข้อความผ่านเฟซบุ๊กส่วนตัว ระบุว่า จากการประชุมวิดีโอคอนเฟอเรนซ์เมื่อวันที่ 4 ต.ค. นายกรัฐมนตรีให้นโยบายเชิงปฏิบัติการการแก้ไขปัญหาอุทกภัย โดยให้ภาคประชาชนเข้ามามีส่วนร่วมอย่างจริงจัง นายกรัฐมนตรีได้เน้นนโยบายเชิงปฏิบัติการในการแก้ไขปัญหาอุทกภัย ซึ่งเป็นมาตรการที่เห็นผลทันที 9 มาตรการ คือ 1.ต้องเร่งระบายน้ำท่วมออกทะเลให้หมดโดยเร็วที่สุด 2.ต้องใช้แรงดันเรือหรือเครื่องในการดันน้ำให้หมดโดยฉับไว 3.ใช้การบริหารทางเทคนิคด้วยการวัดผลได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ 4.การช่วยเหลือราษฎร โดยเพิ่มบทบาทให้กองทัพทุกเหล่าทัพมาช่วยเหลือราษฎรที่ประสบปัญหาอุทกภัยให้มากยิ่งขึ้น 5.การให้ข้อมูลข่าวสารกับพี่น้องประชาชนทั่วประเทศตามสถานการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นจริง ซึ่งนายกรัฐมนตรีเชื่อมั่นว่าพี่น้องประชาชนทุกคนมีความรักความสามัคคี สามารถนำพาประเทศชาติให้ผ่านพ้นวิกฤตไปได้ด้วยดี

6.การรักษาเขตตัวเมือง ด้วยการตรวจติดตามสภาพคันกั้นน้ำที่ทำจากดินให้มีสภาพแข็งแรง หากมีสภาพเก่าหรือชำรุดต้องติดตามแก้ไขให้อยู่ในสภาพคงทน สามารถเป็นคันกั้นน้ำได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ 7.กรมชลประทานปฏิบัติการขุดลอกคันกั้นน้ำอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ พร้อมมาตรการดันน้ำลงทะเลอย่างฉับพลันทันที 8.การริเริ่มโครงการประชาอาสา โดยให้ภาคเอกชนเข้ามาร่วมแรงร่วมใจกัน ใช้เรือของตนเองที่มีอยู่ในการดันน้ำลงทะเล โดยภาครัฐรับผิดชอบดูแลค่าใช้จ่ายเกี่ยวกับน้ำมันเรือ และ 9.ให้ภาคประชาชนเข้ามามีส่วนร่วมในการบริหารจัดการน้ำ เมื่อเกิดปัญหาอุทกภัยโดยจังหวัดตั้งคณะกรรมการระดับจังหวัดและมีพี่น้องประชาชนในทุกภาคส่วนของชุมชนและตัวแทนส่วนราชการระดับท้องถิ่นเข้ามามีบทบาทร่วมกันในการแก้ปัญหาอย่างเป็นรูปธรรมและเกิดผลทางปฏิบัติทันที

กทม.ยันอย่าวิตก-ยังรับมือได้

นายเจตน์ โศภิษฐ์พงศธร โฆษกกรุงเทพ มหานคร กล่าวว่า ขณะนี้ในพื้นที่ กทม.ยังอยู่ในภาวะที่ยังรับมือน้ำได้ จึงขอให้ประชาชนอย่าเพิ่งวิตกกังวล แต่ขอให้ติดตามข่าวสารเรื่องน้ำอย่างใกล้ชิดโดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ริมน้ำ ส่วนน้ำที่ไหลเข้ามาในปริมาณมากที่จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยาว่าจะกระทบต่อกทม.หรือไม่นั้น นายเจตน์กล่าวว่า ก็มีความกังวลแต่หลังจากการคำนวณแล้วยังถือว่าอยู่ในเกณฑ์ที่กทม.สามารถดูแลได้อยู่ ส่วน การป้องกันเพิ่มเติมขณะนี้สำนักการระบายน้ำได้เร่งดำเนินการระบายน้ำเต็มที่และได้ดำเนินการขุดลอกคลองและกำจัดวัชพืชแล้วในคลองต่างๆ เพื่อไม่ให้กีดขวางทางน้ำไหล

ปภ.ชี้ทั่วประเทศฝนชุกอีก

นายวิบูลย์ สงวนพงศ์ อธิบดีกรมป้องกันและบรรเทาสาธารณภัย เปิดเผยว่า จากการตรวจติดตามภาวะอากาศกับกรมอุตุนิยมวิทยา พบว่าพายุโซนร้อนนาลแกได้อ่อนกำลังลงเป็นพายุ ดีเปรสชั่นแล้ว และคาดจะเคลื่อนตัวขึ้นฝั่งประเทศเวียดนามตอนบน และอ่อนกำลังเป็นหย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำ ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังค่อนข้างแรง พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทยและอ่าวไทย ส่งผลให้ทั่วทุกภาคของประเทศมีฝนตกชุกและฝนตกหนักบางพื้นที่ในช่วงวันที่ 5-8 ต.ค. จึงขอเตือนประชาชนที่อาศัยอยู่บริเวณภาคเหนือตอนล่าง ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง ภาคกลาง ภาคตะวันออก และภาคใต้ฝั่งตะวันตก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่เสี่ยงภัยบริเวณที่ราบต่ำริมน้ำ ที่ลาดเชิงเขา และใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านในพื้นที่ 19 จังหวัดภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ได้แก่ บึงกาฬ หนองคาย อุดรธานี สกลนคร เลย หนองบัวลำภู นครพนม มุกดา หาร ขอนแก่น มหาสารคาม ร้อยเอ็ด อุบลราช ธานี ศรีสะเกษ อำนาจเจริญ ยโสธร ชัยภูมิ นครราชสีมา สุรินทร์ และบุรีรัมย์ เตรียมรับมือภาวะฝนตกหนัก ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลัน น้ำล้นตลิ่ง น้ำป่าไหลหลาก และดินโคลนถล่ม ส่วนคลื่นลมในทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยตอน บนมีกำลังแรง คลื่นสูง 2-3 เมตร ชาวเรือควรเพิ่มความระมัด ระวังในการเดินเรือ เรือเล็กควรงดออกจากฝั่งในช่วง 2-3 วันนี้

ศอส.เผยยอดตาย 237 ศพ

นายพระนาย สุวรรณรัฐ ว่าที่ปลัดกระทรวงมหาดไทย ในฐานะ ผอ.ศูนย์สนับสนุนการอำนวยการและการบริหารสถานการณ์อุทกภัย วาตภัย และดินโคลนถล่ม (ศอส.) เปิดเผยว่า ปัจจุบันยังคงมีสถานการณ์อุทกภัยใน 28 จัง หวัด ได้แก่ จ.สุโขทัย พิจิตร พิษณุโลก นคร สวรรค์ อุทัยธานี ชัยนาท สิงห์บุรี อ่างทอง พระนครศรีอยุธยา ลพบุรี สระบุรี สุพรรณบุรี นครปฐม ปทุมธานี นนทบุรี อุบลราชธานี ขอนแก่น ศรีสะเกษ สุรินทร์ ฉะเชิงเทรา นครนายก ปราจีนบุรี เชียงใหม่ ยโสธร ร้อยเอ็ด ลำปาง เลย และนครราชสีมา รวม 201 อำเภอ 1,486 ตำบล 11,208 หมู่บ้าน ราษฎรได้รับความเดือดร้อน 826,377 ครัวเรือน 2,604,220 คน และมีผู้เสียชีวิต 237 ราย สูญหาย 3 คน จ.แม่ฮ่องสอน 1 ราย จ.อุตรดิตถ์ 1 ราย จ.ขอน แก่น 1 ราย พื้นที่การเกษตรคาดว่าจะเสียหาย 7,528,805 ไร่ พื้นที่เพาะเลี้ยงสัตว์น้ำ 105,963 บ่อ/กระชัง ปศุสัตว์ได้รับผลกระทบรวมทั้งสิ้น 8,511,689 ตัว น้ำท่วมเส้นทางไม่สามารถสัญจรผ่านได้ รวม 169 สาย แยกเป็น ทางหลวง 48 สาย ใน 14 จังหวัด ทางหลวงชนบท 121 สาย ใน 20 จังหวัด

เร่งระบาย - เขื่อนภูมิพลเปิดประตูน้ำฉุกเฉินระบายน้ำเพิ่มจากวันละ 60 เป็น 100 ล้านลบ.ม. ตามมติคณะกรรมการเฉพาะกิจบริหารจัด การน้ำเพื่อระบายน้ำที่ไหลเข้าเขื่อนเป็นจำ นวนมาก เมื่อวันที่ 5 ต.ค.

เฝ้าระวังริมน้ำ"เหนือ-อีสาน"

นายพระนายกล่าวว่า สำหรับสถานการณ์น้ำในลุ่มน้ำต่างๆ ยังต้องเฝ้าระวังอย่างใกล้ชิด เนื่องจากมีปริมาณน้ำมากและระดับน้ำล้นตลิ่งมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มสูงขึ้น โดยเฉพาะลุ่มน้ำปิง ที่อ.บ้าน โฮ่ง จ.ลำพูน ลุ่มน้ำยม ที่อ.สามง่าม อ.โพทะเล อ.โพธิ์ประทับช้าง จ.พิจิตร ลุ่มน้ำน่าน ระดับน้ำมีแนวโน้มทรงตัว ลุ่มน้ำมูน ที่ อ.โชคชัย อ.โนนไทย จ.นครราชสีมา อ.คูเมือง อ.สะตึก อ.ลำปลายมาศ จ.บุรีรัมย์ อ.ท่าตูม จ.สุรินทร์ อ.ราษีไศล อ.กันทรารมย์ อ.เมือง อ.พยุห์ จ.ศรีสะเกษ อ.สุวรรณภูมิ จ.ร้อยเอ็ด ลุ่มน้ำชี ที่อ.เมือง อ.น้ำพอง จ.ขอนแก่น อ.โกสุมพิสัย อ.เมือง จ.มหาสารคาม อ.กมลาไสย จ.กาฬสินธุ์ ลุ่มน้ำท่าจีน ที่ อ.บางปลาม้า จ.สุพรรณบุรี

น้ำในเขื่อนใหญ่วิกฤตหลายแห่ง

นายพระนายกล่าวต่อว่า สำหรับลุ่มน้ำเจ้า พระยาระดับน้ำทรงตัว ปริมาณน้ำไหลผ่านจัง หวัดนครสวรรค์ 4,524 ลบ.ม./วินาที เขื่อนเจ้า พระยาปริมาณน้ำไหลผ่าน 3,616 ลบ.ม./ วินาที ปริมาณน้ำไหลผ่าน อ.บางไทร จ.พระนครศรี อยุธยา 3,552 ลบ.ม./วินาที ส่งผลให้ 10 จังหวัดที่อยู่ริมแม่น้ำ ได้แก่ อุทัยธานี ชัยนาท สิงห์บุรี ลพบุรี อ่างทอง สุพรรณบุรี พระนครศรีอยุธยา สระบุรี ปทุมธานี และนนทบุรี ได้รับผลกระทบจากภาวะน้ำล้นตลิ่งที่มีแนวโน้มเพิ่มสูงขึ้น

สำหรับสถานการณ์น้ำในเขื่อนขนาดใหญ่ยังอยู่ในภาวะวิกฤต โดยเฉพาะเขื่อนภูมิพลมีปริมาณน้ำ ร้อยละ 97 เขื่อนสิริกิติ์มีปริมาณน้ำ ร้อยละ 99 เขื่อนแควน้อยมีปริมาณน้ำ ร้อยละ 97 เขื่อนป่าสักชลสิทธิ์มีปริมาณน้ำ ร้อยละ 138 ทั้งนี้ จากการประสานสถานการณ์น้ำในเขื่อนพบว่าเขื่อนภูมิพลมีปริมาณน้ำสูงถึงร้อยละ 97 จึงจำเป็นต้องระบายน้ำออกจากเขื่อนอย่างต่อเนื่อง จึงขอให้จังหวัดที่ตั้งอยู่บริเวณท้ายเขื่อนภูมิพล โดยเฉพาะ จ.ตาก กำแพงเพชร ชัยนาท และนครสวรรค์ เตรียมรับผลกระทบจากการระบายน้ำ โดยจัดเจ้าหน้าที่เฝ้าระวังและแจ้ง เตือนประชาชนในพื้นที่ดังกล่าวเตรียมรับมือและขนย้ายสิ่งของขึ้นที่สูง

เตือน 8 จว.ระวังน้ำป่า-ดินถล่ม

นายพระนายกล่าวอีกว่า พายุโซนร้อนนาลแกจะเคลื่อนตัวขึ้นฝั่งประเทศเวียดนามในวันนี้ และจะอ่อนกำลังลงเป็นหย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำ ประกอบกับมีร่องมรสุมพาดผ่านภาคกลาง ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง และภาคตะวันออก รวมทั้งมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทย ทำให้ทุกภาคของประเทศไทยมีฝนตกชุก และมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่งในภาคเหนือตอนล่าง ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง ภาคกลาง ภาคตะวันออก และภาคใต้ฝั่งตะวันตก ขอให้ประชาชนที่อาศัยอยู่ในพื้นที่เสี่ยงภัย 8 จังหวัด ได้แก่ แม่ฮ่องสอน (อ.แม่สะเรียง อ.สบเมย) ตาก (อ.แม่ระมาด อ.ท่าสองยาง อ.แม่สอด) กำแพงเพชร (อ.คลองลาน) จันทบุรี (อ.ขลุง) ตราด (อ.เกาะช้าง อ.บ่อไร่) ระนอง (อ.กระบุรี อ.กะเปอร์) พังงา (อ.กะปง อ.ท้ายเหมือง อ.ตะ กั่วป่า) สุราษฎร์ธานี (อ.พนม อ.บ้านตาขุน) เฝ้าระวังดินถล่มและน้ำป่าไหลหลากในระยะ 1-2 วันนี้ โดยให้หมั่นสังเกตสัญญาณความผิดปกติทางธรรมชาติจะได้อพยพหนีภัยได้อย่างทันท่วงที

"ปลอด"วอน-ช่วยขับเรือไล่น้ำ

เวลา 10.00 น. ที่ทำเนียบรัฐบาล นายปลอดประสพ สุรัสวดี รมว.วิทยาศาสตร์ ให้สัมภาษณ์ว่า จากปัญหาอุทกภัยที่เกิดขึ้นในขณะนี้คนไทยทั้งหมดต้องช่วยกันเพื่อรักษาชีวิตและทรัพย์สิน ที่ผ่านมารัฐบาล นายกรัฐมนตรี และหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง ได้พยายามหาทางแก้ไขจนสุดชีวิต แต่วันนี้ไม่รู้จะทำอย่างไรที่จะไปห้ามฝนได้ เพราะฝนตกอยู่ตลอดเวลา ทำให้น้ำไหลบ่าลงมา และตอนนี้ก็ระบายออกสู่ทะเลได้ยาก เนื่องจากน้ำทะเลหนุนขึ้นมา จึงขอความกรุณาจากประชาชนคนไหนที่มีบ้านเรือนอยู่ริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา ตั้งแต่ อ.บางไทร จ.พระนครศรีอยุธยา ลงมา ขอให้นำเรือมาผูกให้แน่นบริเวณหน้าบ้าน และเดินเครื่องเรือ โดยหันหัวไปทางทิศเหนือ เพื่อช่วยกันดันน้ำให้ลงไปทางใต้ การทำเช่นนี้ถือเป็นการช่วยดันน้ำคนละเล็กน้อย เหมือนกองทัพมด โดยรัฐบาลพร้อมที่จะสนับสนุนน้ำมันให้ ซึ่งสามารถแจ้งไปยังผู้ว่าฯ นายอำเภอ กระทรวงวิทยาศาสตร์ฯ สำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี หรือกระทรวงใดก็ได้ หรือแม้แต่จะโทรศัพท์มาที่เบอร์มือถือส่วนตัวของตนก็ได้ตลอดทั้งวันทั้งคืน หมายเลข 08-1496-6644 แต่ขอให้แจ้งชื่อและบอกพิกัดว่าเรือจอดอยู่ตรงไหน มีกำลังเครื่องกี่แรง จะได้ช่วยกันวางแผนให้สามารถดันน้ำได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ และทางกรมเจ้าท่า กองทัพเรือ จะเป็นผู้นำน้ำมันไปสนับสนุน แต่สำหรับบ้านเรือนที่ถูกน้ำท่วมจนกลายเป็นเวิ้งน้ำแล้วคงไม่จำเป็น

รถไฟเหนือ 12 ขบวนหยุดวิ่ง

เวลา 12.00 น. นางนวลอนงค์ วงษ์จันทร์ หัวหน้ากองประชาสัมพันธ์ การรถไฟแห่งประเทศไทย (รฟท.) เปิดเผยถึงความคืบหน้าสถานการณ์น้ำท่วมทางรถไฟ ว่า น้ำยังคงท่วมทางรถไฟอย่างต่อเนื่อง แบ่งออกเป็นสายเหนือ 9 เส้นทาง ได้แก่ 1.อยุธยา-บ้านม้า ระดับน้ำสูงกว่าสันรางประมาณ 18 เซนติเมตร ท่วมทางที่ 1 และ 2 สามารถใช้ทางที่ 3 เดินขบวนรถไฟได้ 2.ลพบุรี-ท่าแค ระดับน้ำสูงกว่าสันรางประมาณ 66 เซนติเมตร 3.ปากน้ำโพ-บึงบอระเพ็ด ระดับน้ำสูงกว่าสันรางประมาณ 22 เซนติเมตร 4.ปากน้ำโพ-บึงบอระเพ็ด ระดับน้ำสูงกว่าสันรางประมาณ 21 เซนติเมตร 5.บึงบอระเพ็ด-ทับกฤช ระดับน้ำสูงกว่าสันรางประมาณ 17 เซนติเมตร 6.ทับกฤช-คลองปลากด ระดับน้ำสูงกว่าสันรางประมาณ 23 เซนติเมตร 7.ทับกฤช-คลองปลากด ระดับน้ำสูงกว่าสันรางประมาณ 20 เซนติเมตร 8.ทับกฤช-คลองปลากด ระดับน้ำสูงกว่าสันรางประมาณ 19 เซนติเมตร 9.ทับกฤช-คลองปลากด ระดับน้ำสูงกว่าสันรางประมาณ 24 เซนติเมตร

(1)พังยับ - สภาพโรงงานภายในสวนอุตสาหกรรมสหรัตนคร อ.นครหลวง จ.พระนคร ศรีอยุธยา ถูกน้ำท่วมอย่างหนัก รวม 46 โรง ทางสภาอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดประเมินความเสียหาย อาจจะสูงถึงวันละ 1,000 ล้านบาท เมื่อวันที่ 5 ต.ค.

(2)น้ำใจ - นายสุรพงษ์ อึ้งอัมพรวิไล รมช.ศึกษาธิการ และ พล.ต.ต.คำรณวิทย์ ธูปกระจ่าง รรท.ผบช.ภาค 1 เปิดโครงการนำนักเรียนอาชีวะ 8 จังหวัดภาคกลาง ออกช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยน้ำท่วม เมื่อวันที่ 5 ต.ค.

(3)ป่าตองจม - สภาพบริเวณหาดป่าตอง กับหาดกะหลิม แหล่งท่องเที่ยวชื่อดังของภูเก็ต ถูกน้ำท่วมหนักหลังจากมีฝนตกหนักติดต่อกันตลอดคืน ทำให้เกาะภูเก็ตแทบไม่ต่างจากเมืองบาดาล เมื่อวันที่ 5 ต.ค.

สำหรับเส้นทางสายตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ 1 เส้นทาง ได้แก่ หินซ้อน-แก่งเสือเต้น ระดับน้ำสูงกว่าสันรางประมาณ 50 เซนติเมตร ส่วน เส้นทางสายตะวันออก 1 เส้นทาง ได้แก่ บ้านสร้าง-ปากพลี 5 ระดับน้ำสูงกว่าสันรางเล็กน้อย ดังนั้น ในวันที่ 5 ต.ค. รฟท.จำเป็นต้องประกาศหยุดเดินรถสายสำคัญในเส้นทางสายเหนือ 12 ขบวน ประกอบด้วย มีต้นทางจากกรุงเทพฯ-เชียงใหม่-กรุงเทพฯ ขบวนรถด่วนพิเศษที่ 1/2 ขบวนด่วน, ขบวนรถด่วนพิเศษที่ 11/12, ขบวนที่ 13/14, ขบวนที่ 51/52, ขบวนรถเร็วที่ 105/106 ไม่มีเดินจากกรุงเทพฯ-ศิลาอาสน์-กรุงเทพฯ และขบวนรถเร็วที่ 107/108 ไม่มีเดินจากกรุงเทพฯ-เด่นชัย-กรุงเทพฯ

ขบวนชานเมืองหยุดเดินรถเช่นกัน

ส่วนขบวนรถท้องถิ่น ขบวนรถชานเมืองที่ รฟท.ประกาศเดินประจำและเป็นกรณีพิเศษช่วงระยะสั้น จากกรุงเทพฯ-ลพบุรี ช่วงนคร สวรรค์-ชุมแสง และจากชุมแสง-เชียงใหม่ ยังมีเดินให้บริการอยู่ สำหรับในเส้นทางสายหินซ้อน-แก่งเสือเต้น มีงดเดินขบวนรถท้องถิ่นบางขบวน และแก้ไขสถานการณ์โดยให้ขบวนรถสายหลักเพื่อมุ่งไปยังขอนแก่น อุดรธานี และหนองคาย วิ่งผ่านสถานีนครราชสีมาแทน เพื่อบรรเทาความเดือดร้อนกับประชาชนที่จะอาศัยรถไฟในการเดินทาง

สำหรับสถานการณ์น้ำท่วมทั่วไปที่ จ.พระ นครศรีอยุธยา กระแสน้ำจากแม่น้ำน้อย แม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา แม่น้ำป่าสัก แม่น้ำลพบุรี และกระแสน้ำหลากตามทุ่งจาก จ.ลพบุรี ไหลเข้าท่วมหลายพื้นที่ จ.พระนครศรีอยุธยา อย่างต่อเนื่อง ตั้งแต่ชุมชนสองฝั่งแม่น้ำและเขตทุ่งนา ใน 16 อำเภอของจังหวัด ทั้งนี้ ในจำนวนนี้มีถึง 14 อำเภอที่โดนน้ำท่วมอย่างหนัก และบางอำเภอถูกตัดขาดจากโลกภายนอกแล้ว เนื่องจากถนนถูกน้ำท่วมไม่สามารถสัญจรได้ เช่น อ.บ้านแพรก อ.มหาราช อ.ท่าเรือ อ.ผักไห่ ขณะที่ อ.พระนครศรีอยุธยา และ อ.นครหลวง เริ่มได้รับผลกระทบจากน้ำท่วมอย่างหนัก โดยคันกั้นน้ำของนิคมอุตสาหกรรมสหรัตนคร ต.บางพระครู อ.นครหลวง ไม่สามารถต้าน ทานกระแสน้ำได้ และพังลงเมื่อกลางดึกที่ผ่านมา ส่งผลให้น้ำเอ่อเข้าท่วมโรงงานขนาดใหญ่และขนาดกลางในนิคมกว่า 46 แห่ง เกือบทุกโรงงานไม่สามารถที่จะขนย้ายสิ่งของได้ทัน

เร่งช่วยสาวฉันทนาติดในโรงงาน

ส่วนที่สวนอุตสาหกรรมสหรัตนคร อ.นคร หลวง ถูกน้ำท่วมสูงเกือบ 2 เมตร ทำให้โรงงานทั้ง 46 โรงต้องปิดกิจการ พนักงานทั้งชาย-หญิงกว่า 1 หมื่นคน ต้องรีบออกจากโรงงานและที่พักออกมาทางเรือด้วยความยากลำบาก เนื่องจากระแสน้ำไหลเชี่ยว บางรายต้องอดอาหารและน้ำดื่ม หน่วยกู้ภัยอยุธยารวมใจ เจ้าหน้าที่ทหารบก จ.สระบุรี ได้นำเรือเข้าช่วยเหลืออย่างเร่งด่วน

ถ.โรจนะจม-ชาวบ้านบุกพังคันดิน

ผู้สื่อข่าวรายงานว่า ที่ถนนโรจนะซึ่งเป็นถนนสายหลักเข้า-ออกตัวเมืองพระนครศรี อยุธยา พบว่าช่วงขาออกตั้งแต่วงเวียนเจดีย์วัดสามปลื้ม ไปจนถึงแยกวัดพระญาติถนนช่องคู่ขนานน้ำท่วมสูงประมาณ 80 ซ.ม. รถไม่สามารถวิ่งได้ ระดับน้ำขึ้นสูงตลอดเวลาจนเข้าท่วมในช่องทางด่วน ส่งผลให้การจราจรติดขัดยาวกว่า 5 ก.ม. และยังพบว่าบ้านเรือนในชุมชนการเคหะ ที่อยู่ริมถนนโรจนะขาออกถูกน้ำท่วมสูง 1.50 เมตร น้ำยังไหลบ่าเข้าท่วมชุมชนเจ้าพ่อจุ้ย ม.5 ต.ไผ่ลิง มีบ้านเรือนถูกน้ำท่วมไปกว่า 1 พันหลังคาเรือน แรงดันน้ำทำให้มีบ้านเรือนที่สร้างพนังคอนกรีตกั้นน้ำเอาไว้พังเสียหายไป 3 หลัง ชาวบ้านเกือบ 100 คน เกิดความเครียด พากันเดินลุยน้ำที่ท่วมถึงหน้าอก พร้อมจอบเสียมในมือ บุกพังคันดินกั้นน้ำที่ริมถนนหน้าวัดพระญาติ กระทั่งเจ้าหน้าที่ส่งตัวแทนเจรจายอมเปิดทางระบายน้ำ ชาวบ้านจึงพอใจแยกย้ายกันกลับ ต่อมาช่วงเย็นมีการเจรจากันอีกครั้งชาวบ้านยอมให้นำดินกลับมากั้นน้ำได้ตามเดิม

คาดเสียหายกว่าแสนล้าน

นายวิทยา บุรณศิริ รมว.สาธารณสุข (สธ.) ซึ่งรับผิดชอบพื้นที่น้ำท่วม จ.พระนครศรีอยุธยา กล่าวว่า จากการลงพื้นที่ตรวจสอบความเสียหายเบื้องต้นประเมินมูลค่าความเสียหาย ไม่ต่ำกว่า 1 แสนล้านบาท นอกจากนี้ กระแสน้ำยังไหลข้ามคันล้อมของเทศบาลเมืองอโยธยา และ อบต. หันตรา อ.พระนครศรีอยุธยา เข้าท่วมสถานที่สำคัญในพื้นที่หลายแห่ง ทำให้น้ำมีระดับความสูงกว่า 2-3 เมตร จมสวนเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 9 โบราณสถานกลุ่มวัดกุฎีดาว ศูนย์วิจัยพันธุ์ข้าวหันตรา ชุมชนใน ต.หันตรา ชุมชนเทศบาล เมืองอโยธยา หมู่บ้านการเคหะพระนครศรี อยุธยา วัดมเหยงค์ ตลาดสี่แยกวัดพระญาติ รวมทั้งเขตเศรษฐกิจริมถนนโรจนะในเขต ต.ไผ่ลิง ซึ่งมีร้านค้าตั้งอยู่จำนวนมาก นอกจากนี้ น้ำยังเอ่อท่วมบนถนนโรจนะเส้นทางขาออกอยุธยา ตั้งแต่แยกวงเวียนกลางถนนถึงสี่แยกวัดพระญาติ โดยน้ำยังคงท่วมขยายวงกว้างอย่างต่อเนื่อง

ภาคอุตฯเสียหายวันละพันล้าน

นายพากร วังศิราบัตร ประธานสภาอุตสาห กรรมจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา เปิดเผยว่า อยุธยามีนิคมอุตสาหกรรม 4 แห่ง ซึ่งขณะนี้นิคมอุตสาหกรรมสหรัตนคร อ.นครหลวง ถูกน้ำท่วมสูงเกือบ 2 เมตร ภายในนิคมมีโรงงานอยู่จำนวน 46 โรง มีเงินลงทุน 17,000 ล้านบาท ทำให้การลงทุนของโรงงานต่างๆ ต้นทุนคงจะสูญไปด้วย ทั้งๆ ที่ได้มีการวางแผนการป้องกันเป็นอย่างดี แต่เนื่องด้วยปริมาณน้ำมีจำนวนมากเหนือความคาดหมาย ส่งผลให้แรงงานไทยอาจจะตกงานนับหมื่นคน ส่วนนิคมอุตสาหกรรมอีก 3 แห่ง ในอ.อุทัย อ.บางปะอิน ระบบการป้องกันยังมีความมั่นคงไม่น่าห่วง ความสูญเสียภาพรวมความสูญเสียทางด้านภาคอุตสาหกรรมอาจจะสูงถึง 1,000 ล้านบาทต่อวัน

ด้านนายสุพจน์ พรหมมาโนช ผอ.สำนักศิลปากรที่ 3 พระนครศรีอยุธยา กล่าวว่า การกู้วัดไชยวัฒนารามที่ถูกน้ำท่วมขณะนี้ยังไม่สามารถอุดรอยรั่วจากแนวกำแพงได้ เนื่องจากระดับน้ำยังสูงและไหลแรง

"ลพบุรี"เร่งระบายน้ำเขื่อนป่าสักฯ

ที่จ.ลพบุรี ทางโครงการส่งน้ำและบำรุงรักษาเขื่อนป่าสักชลสิทธิ์ ประกาศเตือนราษฎรที่อยู่ในเขตลุ่มน้ำป่าสัก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลุ่มริมตลิ่งแม่น้ำป่าสักควรเร่งขนของขึ้นที่สูง และเฝ้าระวังติดตามสถานการณ์น้ำในบริเวณลุ่มน้ำป่าสักอย่างใกล้ชิด เนื่องจากระดับน้ำในอ่างเก็บน้ำ ขณะนี้เกินความจุมากแล้ว ทางโครงการจึงต้องเพิ่มการระบายน้ำออกท้ายเขื่อน จนกว่าระดับน้ำภายในอ่าง จะเข้าสู่สภาวะปกติ คาดว่าจะมีผลกระทบกับพี่น้องประชาชนในพื้นที่ลุ่มในหลายจังหวัด ปริมาตรน้ำในอ่างฯ ขณะนี้มีถึง 1,081.42 ล้านลบ.ม. หรือคิดเป็น 137.70 เปอร์เซ็นต์ของความจุอ่าง ที่ระดับเก็บกักปกติอยู่ที่ 960 ล้าน ลบ.ม. ปริมาณของน้ำที่ไหลลงในอ่าง 1,000.43 ลบ.ม./วินาที หรือ 86.87 ล้าน ลบ.ม./วัน ทางเขื่อนได้เพิ่มการระบายน้ำออก 950.22 ลบ.ม./วินาที หรือ 82.10 ล้าน ลบ.ม./วัน ปัจจุบันสถานการณ์น้ำในอ่าง สูงกว่าระดับเก็บกักสูงสุดที่ 43.00 เมตรเหนือระดับน้ำทะเลปานกลางแล้ว และอาจต้องเพิ่มปริมาณการระบายเพิ่มขึ้นอีก หากยังมีปริมาณน้ำฝนที่ตกลงมาอย่างต่อเนื่องอยู่ในขณะนี้

"ชัยนาท"-"อ่างทอง"ระดับน้ำยังสูง

ที่ จ.ชัยนาท บริเวณถนนพหลโยธิน ก.ม.272 (ต่างระดับชัยนาท-ตาคลี) การจราจรใช้ได้ช่องทางเดียว เนื่องจากระดับน้ำสูงขึ้นจาก 10 ซ.ม. อยู่ที่ 30-40 ซ.ม. ไหล่ทางที่น้ำไหลผ่านยังเชี่ยวกราก โดยน้ำได้กัดเซาะพังไปแล้วกว่า 1 เมตร แม้ว่าจะใช้แผ่นเหล็กปิดป้องกันแล้วก็ตาม

นายสิทธิชัย วนานุเวชพงศ์ ผู้อำนวยการแขวงการทางชัยนาท กล่าวว่า แขวงการทางชัยนาทร่วมกับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องสร้างสะพานชั่วคราวข้ามกระแสน้ำที่ไหลแรงเพื่อให้รถจักรยานยนต์ผ่านได้ และยังได้มีการนำเสาไฟฟ้าขนาดใหญ่วางกั้นเพื่อชะลอความแรงของกระแสน้ำ แต่กระแสน้ำพัดจนไถลมาปิดช่องจราจรไป 1 เลน จึงต้องเร่งให้รถเครนมาเคลื่อนย้ายทำให้การจราจรติดขัดหนักยิ่งขึ้น อย่างไรก็ตาม เจ้าหน้าที่ได้เร่งดำเนินการเพื่อให้การจราจรเคลื่อนตัวได้สะดวกมากที่สุด จึงขอแนะนำผู้จะใช้เส้นทางขึ้นภาคเหนือจากกรุงเทพฯ ไม่ควรเข้าชัยนาท ให้ใช้สายเอเชียอย่างเดียว ส่วนผู้ที่จะออกจากจังหวัดชัยนาทแนะนำให้เลี่ยงไปใช้ถนนสาย 311 (ชัยนาท-สิงห์บุรี) ไปออกสายเอเชียที่จังหวัดสิงห์บุรี

ที่จ.อ่างทอง สถานการณ์น้ำท่วมในจังหวัดอ่างทองยังหนัก โดยเฉพาะ ต.ชัยฤทธิ์ ต.ตรีณรงค์ ต.จระเข้ร้อง ต.ชัยภูมิ อ.ไชโย จ.อ่างทอง ขณะนี้น้ำตลบหลังมาจาก อ.ท่าวุ้ง จ.ลพบุรี และ อ.บ้านแพรก จ.พระนครศรีอยุธยา ไหลบ่าเข้าท่วมเต็มพื้นที่ฝั่งตะวันออกของอ.ไชโย เกินขีดที่จะเสริมคันป้องกันเพราะระดับน้ำท่วมทันทีกว่า 2 เมตร ชาวบ้านเดือดร้อนหนักต้องอพยพไปอาศัยบนถนนสายเอเชีย

"สิงห์บุรี"เอ่อท่วมสายเอเชีย

ที่จ.สิงห์บุรี น้ำในแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยาที่บริเวณหน้าเขื่อนจังหวัดสิงห์บุรี สูงขึ้นประมาณ 15 ซ.ม. ส่งผลทำให้น้ำเอ่อท่วมถนนสายเอเชียขาขึ้นบริเวณหลักก.ม.ที่ 94 ถึง 98 เส้นทางระหว่าง ต.โพกรวม อ.เมืองสิงห์บุรี ไปจนถึง ต.น้ำตาล อ.อินทร์บุรี เจ้าหน้าที่ต้องระดมกำลังคนและเครื่องจักรมาทำแนวคันดินบริเวณริมถนนเพื่อให้รถสามารถวิ่งได้ ซึ่งในขณะนี้รถที่มุ่งขึ้นเหนือยังวิ่งได้ 2 ช่องทาง จาก 3 ช่องทาง

นายมนตรี ตันตระกูล วิศวกรใหญ่ด้านควบ คุมการก่อสร้างกรมชลประทาน ได้เปิดเผยถึงความคืบหน้าการซ่อมช่องขาดประตูระบายน้ำบางโฉมศรี ที่ อ.อินทร์บุรี จ.สิงห์บุรี จนถึงขณะนี้ ว่า การลำเลียงหินเข้าไปได้จำนวนเที่ยวมากขึ้นงานลุล่วงไปแล้ว 30 เปอร์เซ็นต์ หลังจากที่เปิดพื้นที่การทำงานทำให้รถบรรทุกทำงานได้สะดวกขึ้น

ปราจีนฯสลด-จมน้ำ 3 ศพ

ที่จ.ปราจีนบุรี กลางดึกที่ผ่านมา เกิดเหตุเรือล่มมีคนจมน้ำเสียชีวิต 3 ราย เหตุเกิดที่บริเวณทุ่งนา หมู่ที่ 5 ต.บางแตน อ.บ้านสร้าง ผู้เสียชีวิตประกอบไปด้วย นายเฉลียว อินคง อายุ 44 ปี นางสายเพ็ญ ตระการจันทร์ อายุ 40 ปี และนายสมปอง ตระการจันทร์ อายุ 41 ปี สามีนางสายเพ็ญ นอกจากนี้ ยังมีด.ช.ภาสกร เกษพิรา อายุ 2 ขวบ และด.ช.ธีรวัฒน์ ตระการจันทร์ อายุ 14 ปี ที่นั่งเรือมาด้วยกันบาดเจ็บเล็กน้อย พลเมืองดีช่วยชีวิตได้ทัน ทั้งนี้ ทราบว่าก่อนเกิดเหตุทั้ง 5 คนพายเรือออกจากบ้านหนีน้ำท่วม แต่เรือเกิดล่มเพราะกระแสน้ำเลยทำให้ทั้ง 3 คนซึ่งว่ายน้ำไม่เป็นเสียชีวิตในที่สุด

"ภูเก็ต"น้ำทะลักจม"ป่าตอง"

ที่ จ.ภูเก็ต ฝนที่ตกลงมาอย่างหนักทำให้เกิดภาวะน้ำท่วมฉับพลัน โดยเฉพาะบริเวณหาดป่าตอง บริเวณร.พ.ป่าตอง น้ำท่วมเข้าไปภายในโรงพยาบาลจนต้องมีการอพยพคนไข้เพื่อความปลอดภัย และที่หน้า สภ.กะทู้ อ.กะทู้ จ.ภูเก็ต รถเล็กไม่สามารถสัญจรไปมาได้ ส่วนที่บริเวณสี่แยกโลตัส กลางเมืองภูเก็ต น้ำท่วมประมาณ 60 ซ.ม. และในพื้นที่ ต.ฉลอง ก็มีน้ำท่วมขังเช่นเดียวกัน เจ้าหน้าที่ต้องระดมกำลังช่วยเหลือชาวบ้านอย่างโกลาหล

เรื่องแรก เกี่ยวกับการเชื่อมโยงจุดประในชีวิต

สตีฟ จ็อบส์ เป็นเด็กที่พ่อแม่ที่แท้จริงของเขายกเขาให้เป็นบุตรบุญธรรมของพ่อแม่อุปการะ จ็อบส์พักการเรียนในระดับวิทยาลัยไว้กลางคัน เนื่องมาจากเขาเลือกเรียนวิทยาลัยที่มีค่าใช้จ่ายสูงพอๆ กับสแตนฟอร์ด และพ่อแม่ของเขาอยู่ในระดับคนทำงานที่ต้องใช้เงินที่เก็บออมไว้เพื่อมาส่งเสียจ็อบส์เป็นค่าธรรมเนียมการศึกษา 6 เดือน ต่อมาหลังจากที่ได้เข้าเรียน เขาไม่เห็นถึงคุณค่าของสิ่งที่ทำที่ตรงไหน และก็คิดไม่ออกว่าอยากจะทำอะไรในชีวิต และไม่คิดว่าวิทยาลัยจะช่วยให้เขาหาคำตอบนั้นๆ ได้ และสิ่งที่เขาทำก็คือ หยุดการเรียนไว้เพียงแค่นั้น และเชื่อมั่นกับการตัดสินใจของตัวเองว่า เดี๋ยวทุกอย่างก็จะดีเอง มันเป็นช่วงเวลาที่น่ากลัวเหมือนกันในเวลานั้น

แต่เมื่อมองกลับไป จ็อบส์กล่าวนั่นเป็นการตัดสินใจที่ดีที่สุดในชีวิตของเขาก็ว่าได้ ในวินาทีที่เขาตัดสินใจหยุดพักการเรียน เขาสามารถหยุดเรียนในวิชาที่เขาไม่สนใจ และเริ่มเรียนรู้ในสิ่งที่เขาสนใจมากกว่าได้ ซึ่งจ็อบส์ได้เข้าเรียนในคลาสเรียนวิชาอักษรวิจิตร แต่เรื่องราวก็ไม่สวยงามเท่าไหร่นัก จนกระทั่ง 10 ปีต่อมา จ็อบส์ได้ร่วมออกแบบเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์แมคอินทอชเครื่องแรก เขาใส่ความสามารถทั้งหมดลงไปในการออกแบบสิ่งประดิษฐ์ชิ้นนี้ จ็อบส์กล่าวว่า หากเขาไม่พักการเรียน ก็คงจะไม่มีโอกาสได้เรียนวิชาอักษรวิจิตร และดีไซน์คอมพิวเตอร์ก็คงไม่ออกมามหัศจรรย์เช่นนี้

มันเป็นไปไม่ได้ที่เราจะวาดตามรอยประไปข้างหน้า เราทำได้เพียงเชื่อมโยงมันไปข้างหลัง ดังนั้นจงเชื่อมั่นว่าจุดแต่ละจุดในชีวิตของเราเชื่อมโยงกับอนาคตอย่างแน่นอน คุณต้องเชื่อมั่นในอะไรบางอย่าง อาจจะเป็นเป้าหมายของคุณ ชีวิต หรือเรื่องเกี่ยวกับกรรม อะไรก็ตาม เพราะว่าการเชื่อมั่นในจุดแห่งการเชื่อมโยงนั้นจะทำให้คุณมีความมั่นใจที่จะทำตามเสียงของหัวใจ และทำให้คุณแตกต่าง

เรื่องที่สอง คือเรื่องเกี่ยวกับความรักและการสูญเสีย

จ็อบส์กล่าวว่าเขาเป็นผู้ที่โชคดี เขาพบว่าอะไรคือสิ่งที่เขารักในช่วงต้นของชีวิต วอซเนคและจ็อบส์เริ่มการทำงานแอปเปิ้ลในโรงรถที่บ้านของเขา เมื่อครั้งที่เขาอายุเพียง 20 ปี จ็อบส์กล่าวว่า พวกเราทำงานกันอย่างหนัก และใน 10 ปีต่อมา แอปเปิ้ลก็เติบโตขึ้น โดยเริ่มต้นเพียงบุคลากร 2 คน จนกระทั่งเป็นบริษัทที่มีมูลค่าสูงถึง 2 พันล้านบาท และมีลูกจ้างกว่า 4,000 คน พวกเราเพียงแค่สร้างสิ่งที่ดีที่สุด นั่นก็คือแมคอินทอช ต่อมาด้วยวัย 30 ปีของเขา จ็อบส์ถูกไล่ออก คำถามคือคุณจะถูกไล่ออกจากบริษัทที่คุณเป็นผู้สร้างขึ้นได้อย่างไร

จ็อบส์กล่าวว่า เมื่อแอปเปิ้ลโตขึ้น พวกเราได้จ้างคนๆ หนึ่งที่คิดว่าเป็นคนที่มีพรสวรรค์ที่จะมาร่วมทำบริษัทกับเขา แต่ในที่สุด มุมมองของเขากับจ็อบส์ก็ขัดแย้งกัน ในที่สุดจ็อบส์ก็ออกมา สิ่งที่เขาทุ่มเทให้ทั้งชีวิตก็หายไปในพริบตา เขาไม่รู้เลยว่าควรจะทำอะไรในช่วงแรกๆ ที่ออกจากแอปเปิ้ล

ในที่สุดเขาตระหนักว่า เหตุการณ์ที่เขาต้องออกมาจากแอปเปิ้ลเป็นสิ่งที่ดีที่สุดที่เกิดขึ้นกับเขา สิ่งนี้ปลดปล่อยความเป็นอิสระให้กับจ็อบส์ที่เป็นเหมือนผู้เริ่มต้นใหม่ในวงการอีกครั้ง ที่จะมีช่วงเวลาที่เขาได้ใช้ความคิดสร้างสรรค์มากที่สุดในชีวิต มันอาจจะดูเหมือนยาขมในช่วงแรกที่ออกมาจากแอปเปิ้ลนั้น แต่ความสำเร็จที่ผ่านมาจะเกิดขึ้นไม่ได้เลยหากปราศจากช่วงเวลาที่เขาออกมาจากแอปเปิ้ล

บางครั้งชีวิตก็อาจจะตีศีรษะคุณด้วยอิฐก้อนใหญ่ แต่จงอย่าเสียซึ่งศรัทธา เขาได้ทำในสิ่งที่เขารัก คุณต้องหาว่าอะไรคือสิ่งที่คุณรัก เมื่อคุณรักในงานที่ทำ คุณก็จะทำมันออกมาได้ดี หากคุณยังหาไม่เจอ จงหาต่อไป และอย่าหยุด

เรื่องที่สาม คือเรื่องเกี่ยวกับความตาย

เมื่อครั้งที่จ็อบส์อายุ 17 ปี เขาได้อ่านประโยคหนึ่งที่มีใจความว่า หากคุณใช้ชีวิตแต่ละวันเหมือนกับว่าเป็นวันสุดท้ายในชีวิตของคุณ สักวันหนึ่งคุณจะประสบความสำเร็จ นั่นเป็นข้อความที่สร้างความประทับใจให้กับเขา ตลอด 33 ปีที่ผ่านมา เขาเฝ้าถามตัวเองในกระจกว่า หากวันนี้คือวันสุดท้ายในชีวิตของเขา เขาจะทำอะไร และจะเป็นอย่างไรในวันนี้ และเมื่อใดก็ตามที่ไม่มีคำตอบให้กับตัวเอง เขารู้ตัวทันทีว่าจะต้องปรับเปลี่ยนอะไรบางอย่างเข้าให้แล้ว

เมื่อเรารู้ว่าเราเข้าใกล้ความตายอยู่ในทุกขณะ มันทำให้เราตัดสินใจกับเรื่องใหญ่ๆ ในชีวิตได้ จงตระหนักถึงสิ่งที่สำคัญจริงๆ เท่านั้น
