Before His Death, Lockheed Senior & Former Area 51 Scientist Claimed Aliens, UFOs exist. Pictures Shown As Proof [Video]

Boyd Bushman, a scientist who worked for Lockheed Martin, claimed that aliens exist before he died on the 7th of August, 2014. He did this in a video that was posted shortly before he died. Boyd drew from his own experiences, revealing that there exist extraterrestrial beings in area 51. In an interview that is almost unbelievable, he claims that the government is hiding several technologies like anti-gravity.

Boyd had several patents that were attributed to him as a senior scientist at Lockheed Martin(This claim has been disputed though). His patents include a light beam that can find objects, a magnetic drive, a heat radiation detection system and a thermally energized electrical power source.

In the controversial video, Mr. Bushman says that there are Americans currently working on the UFOs from outer space, 24 hours a day. He claims that the aliens come from a planet known as Quintumnia which is 68 light years away. The aliens however, only take 45 minutes to get to our planet. He also claimed that a special flight path exists that gets the aliens from space to area 51.

The aliens at the base according to the video, are 230 years old and are five feet long (this is around 1.5 metres). They have five webbed toes and five fingers that are 30% longer than ours and communicate using telepathy. According to Mr. Bushman, scientists have for some time been reverse engineering the UFO technology and this includes the Roswell incident, where a flying saucer was accidentally shot down in 1947.

He says that he gave his camera to the aliens so they could get him pictures from their home world and he shows them off using some blurry images on the video. Mr. Bushman said that the scientists at area 51 are working with the Chinese and Russian counterparts, to develop an anti-gravity technology.

The claims have been met with derision and criticism. Some claim that the alien Bushman showed in the pictures, looks like an alien doll that was sold in shops some years ago. Bushman said that the security personnel had discredited him and even tried to prevent him from going public. He had also received death threats.

UFO expert, Nigel Watson, who authored the Haynes UFO Investigation Manual, told Mail Online that “certainly, Bushman believed in what he was saying. As long ago as 2008 he passed a polygraph test, during which he claimed he had worked on anti-gravity projects, alien technologies and had even met and photographed an alien, and examined at least eight different types of alien spacecraft.”
Alejandro Rojas from the Open Minds says that “Like so many stories in the UFO field, Bushman’s is enigmatic. The whole affair could easily be written off as the delusional ramblings of an old man. The only thing that causes one to pause is Bushman’s background. Why would a high level scientist begin making up such wild stories? Did he actually work with Teller, and did he ever really go to Area 51? Or were these all tall tales told to him that he believed wholeheartedly? Now that Bushman has passed we may never know.”

We always want to believe that reality is plain and simple but most of the times it’s not. Some of the things we take for granted as being true are in reality false. Philosophers and scientists have discredited in so many ways the theories of commonsense as the following examples show in detail:

1. The Big Freeze

The Big Freeze refers to a scientific theory on the end of the universe and it spells disaster for everyone. According to the theory, a fixed amount of energy exists in the world and as it runs out, the universe slows down. Since heat is produced by energy particle movement, there’s slow loss of heat. A slowdown in movement also exists and eventually everything will come to a halt. T.S Eliot once said, “This is the way the world ends: not with a bang but with a whimper.”

2. Solipsism

The philosophical theory Solipsism, states that we can verify nothing else except the existence of the mind. It’s a silly theory at first since, it’s hard to deny that the world we live in exists but the problem is that it’s hard to verify that anything except your consciousness exists. Could some of the plausible dreams you have had in life show that maybe whatever is around us is just a dream? We do however have family and friends we can verify by touch, right? But people on LSD, report that they are able to see and touch their most convincing hallucinations, yet we never assume their illusions are real. What then can we verify? We can only prove our thoughts.

3. Idealism

Idealism is the belief that things exist as an idea in the mind-specifically in someone’s mind. The idea by famous idealist and philosopher,George Berkeley, was dismissed by his peers. One of them especially, closed his eyes and kicked a stone to refute the idea. If the stone had only existed in the friend’s mind then he wouldn’t have kicked it, eyes closed. Berkeley also stated that an all-powerful and omnipresent God existed, who perceived everything and everyone simultaneously. Whether this is plausible or not - I’ll let you be the judge.

4. Plato and the Logos

Plato is among the most famous philosophers. He claimed that there exists another world different from the one we are familiar with, that had perfect ‘forms’. What we see around us are just shadows, or imitations of the real thing. When we study philosophy, we are at a better chance to glimpse the originals. In addition to this, Plato who was a monist, claimed that everything is made out of a single substance. According to his view, diamonds, dog poo and gold are all composed of the same substance but arranged in different ways. This theory may not be too far from the truth according to modern science.

5. Presentism

We take time for granted and normally divide it into present, past and future. Presentism philosophers, however argue that the past and future do not exist- only the present does. This means that the last birthday you celebrated does not exist and this article will cease to exist immediately after you look at it- well, until you decide to look at it again. According to Saint Augustine, time can never be behind and ahead at the same time and therefore the future does not exist. Budhism scholar, Fyodor Shcherbatskoy, in other words said that: “Everything past is unreal, everything future is unreal, everything imagined, absent, mental . . . is unreal. . . . Ultimately real is only the present moment of physical efficiency.”

6. Eternalism

This theory contrasts presentism. It states that time has many layers actually, and can be compared perhaps to a sponge cake which unlike time, does not divide philosophers. The layers exist simultaneously but a particular observer sees a layer depending on where he is standing. In other words, Justin Bieber, World War II and dinosaurs exist at the same time but they can only be viewed from a particular point. This view makes the future appear hopeless and free will becomes an illusion.

7. Brain in the Vat

This thought experiment is by scientists and philosophers who believe that the external world is verifiable independently. So, where is the problem with this? Imagine that we are brains-in-vats merely and our perceptions are being manipulated by evil scientists or aliens. How would we know that it’s happening? Can we disapprove the idea that it’s possible this situation is indeed the case for us right now? The Brain-in-vat theory is a modern version of the Descartes Evil Demon problem. The same point is made here- it’s impossible to prove anything else exists except our consciousness. The theory however employs some slightly different thought experiments. The Matrix was in fact based on this particular scenario.

8. Multiverse theory

We have all by now heard of the multiverse or parallel universe theory, unless you have been living under a rock. The parallel worlds are said to be like ours in so many ways and with only minor differences. An infinite number of universes exist according to the theory.

The implications of the theory I think are much like those of the Fringe series: In one universe you are a dictator, in another you never got to be born, in another you lie eight feet under the ground because you were killed by a dinosaur -get the picture?

9. Fictional realism

Superman is real if we are to believe the Multiverse theory. If there are an infinite number of universes out there, then some of them must have real-life versions of some of our favorite fictional characters like the Wolverine, X-Men, Cyclops etc.

However, some philosophers (phenomenalists) believe that the existence of some things is in so far as they are perceived. Meaning that, that sandwich you are eating only exists so long as you are aware it exists. No perception, no existence and that’s phenomenalism for you.

7 Year Old Former Bully Now An Anti-Bullying Campaigner

People rarely admit to being bullies but this second-grader has taken an effort at amending his ways and the action is melting people’s hearts. “It's not too late to change," he says.

Cameron Thompson, a Tournament Hills Elementary student in Beaumont, California, was recently in trouble for teasing a boy who brought in a Barbie doll for show-and-tell in school. He teased him so much till he cried but Cameron says, that was not his intention.

After this incident, Cameron wrote an apology letter to his classmate. His mother too spoke to the parents of the boy expressing her regrets.

Cameron, however still felt bad for what he had done and wanted to know from his mom how to get the bad feeling he had go away.The solution was an anti-bully club.

“Since I was sad, I thought I could make it up to him and he could feel better and I could feel better, too,” Cameron said.

This spring, Cameron launched a group with help from the boy he teased. They got 76 kids on the first day, which was beyond their expectations.

The school principal is happy since positive peer pressure has reduced bullying cases in the school. “We are so proud of Cameron and the work he has done to correct a wrong. When students talk to students, they’re at their level.” Callie Beitler said.

Cameron’s family made a video reenacting the bullying episode. Cameron’s brother played the bullied boy on the video while Cameron used a voice-over to explain his actions. “I didn’t really understand a boy bringing a doll to school so I thought it was funny. I told some friends and I convinced them to come make fun of him with me. We all circled him and teased him,” Cameron says. “I struggle to make good choices sometimes.”
His parents started a Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/CameronsAntiBullyCampaign) to help spread the anti-bullying message. They also posted the video on YouTube and it has so far attracted thousands of views. The parents have been getting many comments from people impacted by the video.

Cameron and the boy he bullied are now friends who eat together and even play together during recess. His message to other kids is. “If somebody was bullying another person or teasing, I would say stop and that’s not funny and you should accept a person for who they are. Wifi is an energy field usually transmitted in form of waves. These waves have a definite distance between them, a height and travel at a given speed.Wifi has a distinctive transmission band that makes it hard for other signals to interrupt it. This is because the distance between wifi waves is shorter than that of radio waves and longer than that of microwaves. This is an image showing idealized wifi data being transmitted over a band divided into several different sub channels, represented by yellow, red, green and other colors.

Wifi pulses are represented by the multicolored spheres radiating from the source which is near the image’s right side. Wifi transmitters are essentially an antenna that is equipped with transmission protocol that usually splits the frequency band into numerous segments, also known as channels. Data is transmitted over each channel and can be sent and received in great quantities at a faster rate. The colors orange, yellow, red and others are used to show invisible wifi channels that contribute to the making of the overall wifi signal. Fields of Wifi are usually ellipsoidal or spherical and can extend to about 20- 30 meters.

The wifi wave’s travel as rapid, data encoded waves or pulses through space. If we freeze the pulses, they would be about 6 inches apart. Wifi routers are antennas that send data at the same time over multiple frequencies. The data sent from these frequencies then swirls around in space. A common tag system that can be understood by wireless devices can be used to translate this.

Outdoor routers are able to transmit signals to a distance of about 300 feet or sometimes more, from their location. A Man Records Crickets Chirping. He Slows Down The Track And Finds It To Be Similar To Humans Singing

Native Americans and ancient Chinese culture believe that crickets are a symbol of luck. They are wise and bear good fortune. Jim Wilson, a composer, recorded crickets chirping from his backyard and for some reason decided to slow down the recording. The result was an amazing track that sounds like a choir of humans singing. The most amazing part is that the crickets are in perfect harmony!

‘I discovered that when I slowed down this recording to various levels, this simple familiar sound began to morph into something very mystic and complex……..almost human,’ Jim Wilson.

There are two versions of the track: an original version with the crickets chirping at normal speed and a slowed down version that is said to match the average lifespan length of a human being. The sounds are explained in the liner notes of one version of the track:
“Though it may sound like a synthesizer or a chorus singing; it’s the crickets themselves slowed way down, creating the effect of a choir of human voices. The sound created is a simple diatonic 7-note scale chord progression and melody with a multi-layered structure.”

The chirping sound from crickets is made when they rub their wings together. One wing has a smooth side while the other has a jagged side, creating the distinctive tone. The males, according to cricket-breeding.com,use the chirps to attract females. They also chirp during fights with each other.

The recordings have become a viral sensation even though made in 1992. Most people however, doubt its 100 percent accuracy. The composer may have done some additional arrangement that resulted in the beautiful harmony.

Jim Wilson included the original recording on the track “Ballad of the Twisted Hair”, on the album Medicine Songs. In 1994, the cricket track got featured on the soundtrack of “The Native Americans”, a TBS documentary miniseries as the track “Twisted Hair”. Opera Singer, Bonnie Jo Hunt, was also featured on the track singing an additional melody over it. This is what Ms. Hunt had to say about the recording in a 2004 interview:

“Jim Wilson recorded crickets in his back yard, and he brought it into the studio and went ahead and lowered the pitch and lowered the pitch and lowered the pitch. And they sound exactly like a well-trained church choir to me. And not only that, but it sounded to me like they were singing in the eight-tone scale. And so what–they started low, and then there was something like I would call, in musical terms, an interlude; and then another chorus part; and then an interval and another chorus. They kept going higher and higher.”

Skeleton Of 'Alien Looking' Tiny Creature with Nine Ribs Which Was Discovered Was Actually A Human, Reveal Scientists

Everyone at some point in their lives has probably looked up at a starry sky and wondered how much of the truth was actually out there. How far does life stretch outside of the blue planet? Were The X Files actually on to something? There’s a little belief in all of us. Ten years ago in Chile’sAtacama Desert the remains of a six inch humanoid figure were discovered and only added fuel to the flames of belief, however briefly. Now, ten years of scientific advancement later the remains have been tested by scientists at Stanford and, much to science fiction’s disappointment, the results have returned and confirmed that the figure is, indeed, human.

Having been discovered in Chile’s Atacama Desert the figure was dubbed the nickname ‘Ata’ and suppositions regarding what could have produced such a figure have ranged from an aborted fetus, a monkey, and, naturally, a dead alien. Interestingly enough, the source that brought to light Ata’s human origins was a science documentary titled Sirius which for a while had UFO enthusiasts ready to break bottles in celebration of extraterrestrial life, until the final verdict arrived. Authorities on such matters do agree that the specimen does possess all of the UFO stereotypes to include a large oval shaped head with an unproportionately smaller body. Bone marrow obtained from the specimen’s ribs was taken to Stanford University where it was studied for six months before a conclusion was reached. The conclusion was that it was a curious mutation of a male infant who, despite the mutation, lived to be between the ages of six and eight. The fact that its final age has been determined has also brought up the question of how big it could have been at birth considering its final size.

A Chilean newspaper has reported that the remains were discovered on Oct. 19, 2003 by a man by the name of Oscar Munoz who was doing excavation in search of objects of historical value in La Noria, a relatively uninhabited town in the Atacama Desert. While doing his work near an abandoned church Munoz discovered a white cloth containing what the newspaper has reported as ‘a strange skeleton no bigger than 15cm [the size of a pen]’. Aside from the figure’s obvious distinctions of size, color, and shape what added to its mystery was the fact that it possessed nine ribs, in contrast to a human’s 12.

It all started about a week from Rahul's birth. Both of his parents were very exited for the birth of their first son. They already had a two-year-old daughter, and the arrival of the new born baby was very happy news for the little family. But all of this joy was about to turn into tragedy.

One afternoon when Rahul's mother was washing her daughter, she heard one of her neighbours shout "Your baby is on fire!", and at about the same time, she heard baby Rahul screaming inside the hut. She rushed inside the house and witnessed a sight she would never forget, she saw that her baby was literally on fire.

Rajeshwari, the mother of the baby, said to New York Times that the baby had flames on his belly and his right knee. Rajeshwari and her husband immediately rushed the baby into a hospital. To everyone's relief baby Rahul was treated at the hospital and made a full recovery, and the parents were very relieved that nothing worse happened. It is a fairly well known fact that when awaking from a nights sleep, those of us that remember our dreams forget 50% of thedreams contents after only 5 minutes. We forget 90% after just 10 minutes.

According to This Man Website, there is a patient of a fairly well-known psychiatrist in New York that tries to record images of their dreams on paper. She has a reoccurring dream night after night of one particular man whom she does not recall ever seeing in her "real life".

The dream is described as "This Man" giving advise on events in her life that are personal. After sketching the image of the man's face, she proceeded to give drawing to her psychiatrist. The doctor put the drawing aside on his desk and went about his practice. A few days following, a male patient of his came in for a routine visit noticing the drawing. He claims that man in the drawing sporadically appears in his dreams as well also admitting to never have seeing him in day to day life.

This being pretty uncommon, the psychiatrist sends the drawing to a few others in his line of work with patients that also have reoccurring dreams. Sure enough, in only a few short months, four others have identified the man as someone they see in their dreams.

The drawing of "This Man" first became public back in 2006. Since then, more than 2,000 people have come forward and admitted to having the man in their dreams. Not one of the 2,000 has been able to connect him to a actual person. To make things even more weird, people have seen and identified "This Man" in multiple cities around the world. Some cities include but are not limited to Rome, Los Angeles, Berlin, Sao Paulo, Tehran, Beijing, Barcelona, Stockholm, Paris, New Dehli, Moskow etc.

Thisman.org is a website created to bring together those who claimed they have dreamed of "this man" . There are many theories for possible explanation listed on the site, one being called the "Dream Surfer Theory".

In this theory, this man is a real person, who can enter people's dreams by means of specific psychological skills. Some believe that in real life this man looks like the man in the dreams. There Is A Blind Turkish Painter Named Esref Armagan, Who Was Born With No Eyes

Have you ever tried to do everyday things with your eyes closed just to see what it would be like to be blind? Do things like trying to get from your front door to the kitchen or try and write out your name all with closed eyes? Tough isn't it? Well, their is a man named Esref Armagan, a 53 year old artist who lives in Turkey. You could say he and his family are not very well off. That didn't stand in the way of Esref. Esref is a self taught individual.He started learning to write out certain characters, letters, then was introduced to oil base paints! Finally, he now has a way to express himself on canvas for all to see and appreciate.

As a professional artist and painter, Esref needs complete absolute silence while creating his work. Esref's work has a unique way of being performed . Using a braille stylus to etch the outline of his drawing,he applies oil paint with his fingers and leaves it to dry fully before applying a new color. This unique method is applied in order so that colors do not mix forming different colors. The art pieces are created without assistance from any individual. He is also able to create paintings that have visual perspective.

Back in 2008 two Doctor/researchers from Harvard were looking for some answers on how Esref's brain operates. Dr. Amir Amedi and Dr. Alvaro Pasqual-Leone were using Esref as the bases for their studies in neural plasticity and how the "visual" cortexacts differently in blind people opposed to someone with full vision. Pasqual-Leon found that blind people that can read Braille use this very same area of the brain for touch. The doc's decided to perform a scan on Armagan's brain while he was painting. The results were amazing, Armagan's visual cortex lit up like a Christmas tree! This means someone who didn't know Esref or of his condition looked at the scans wouldn't know he was a blind man. They performed scans testing his verbal recall activity and very little appeared in the scan. Some unused visual areas may possibly be used in collaboration with the ones needed from their brain. This wasn't the only study Esref assisted in. Back in 2004, he was involved in a study of human perception, conducted by the psychologist John Kennedy of University of Toronto.

On a personal note, Esref is a married man with two children. He has his artwork displayed in various countries around the world including but not limited to the Netherlands, China , Italy, Turkey, and Czech Republic. Companies around the world have also learned of Armagan's work. Volvo actually invited Esref to paint their new S60 back in 2009 as part of a social media campaign. If you would like to see him paint, Volvo posted his work on their Facebook page. That painting was auctioned on eBay and went for $3050.00. Not exactly Rembrandt money but went to a great cause. The Canadian non-profit charity organization World Blind Union (WBU) was the benefactor of the money the painting brought. All in all, a very talented man with a great heart who should inspire us all.

The lake Natron in Northern Tanzania has been welcoming a lot of attention ever since the photographer Nick Brandthappened to grab hold of a few images of dead birds and such creatures off the coast. Is this starting to look like another ‘Bermuda Triangle’? And that’s how the name was coined. Polybius: A Mysterious Game Which Caused Nightmares And Amnesia To All Those Who Played It

A peculiar arcade game known as the Polybius mysteriously appeared in Portland Arcade in 1981. The game resulted insevere headaches, intense nightmares, and amnesia in the several days and weeks that followed. Like the way it appeared, it inexplicably disappeared from the arcade.

Released in one or two arcades in the suburbs of Portland, the game named Polybius has a blurred history. Rumored to be developed by some kind of weird military tech offshoot group which used some kind of proprietary behavior modification algorithms developed for the CIA or something alike. Allegedly, the kids who played the game suffered from severe headaches, amnesia and such horrible nightmares that they woke up screaming at night.

According to the operators who used to run one of the arcades playing those games, guys in black coats used to come to collect records from the machines. All they needed was the information about how the game was played, not about quarters the game made.

When translated "Sinnesloeschen" ("Sinneslöschen" using the German umlauts), "Sinn(es)" denotes "sense" or "sensory" as in sense perception. "Loeschen" means to "delete" or "erase". It can be interpreted as sensory deprivation. It could denote an erasing or negating of the capacity for sensation.

Space exploration had eluded mankind for thousands of years, until the invention of the telescope. However, man always needed more information, and in the late 20th century, we started doing things that many thought would be impossible, exploring extra-terrestrial bodies by sending space crafts on the surface of planets or moons. So here are some astonishing planets and moons that we have explored up till now.

Venus - USSR Venera 1961 and 1984

As Venus is our closest neighbour – 38 million kilometres away at times – it was the first to be ‘probed.’ On March 1, 1966, the Venera 3, a Soviet-controlled space probe crash-landed on Venus. However, it was not until 3 years later that the Venera 7 landed on Venus, the first man-made spacecraft to successfully land on another planet and send back data.

The Moon is the closest extra-terrestrial body to Earth, and therefore is the most explored. The first ever mission to the Moon was the Soviet Luna 1(1959), It only took 36 hours to make the trip to moon, therefore travelling an average speed of 10,500 km/hr. The Apollo 11 mission in 1969 saw the first human, Neil Armstrong, walk on the moon, one of the most memorable events in mankind’s history.

Mars 2 lander(27 November 1971) became the first man-made object to reach the surface of Mars but no contact after crash landing. Most exploring mission is The ‘Curiosity’ Rover landed on Mars in August 2012, it has been heavily explored recently due to the prehistoric possibility of its life-sustaining capabilities and has been performing geological research ever since landed.

One of Saturn’s largest moons, Titan, was explored by the Cassini–Huygens spacecraft in July 2004, It was a Join Mission by NASA,ESA and ASI. it has been said that many of its landscapes had been formed by flowing waterways, a feat that is unmatched in outer-space.

Mercury - NASA, MESSENGER(March 29, 2011)

Mariner 10 was the first probe to look at Mercury, passing by due to gravitational ‘slingshotting’ effect in 1974. At first it was obvious that it had been struck by thousands of objects, due to multiple impact craters. As it is the closest planet to our sun, it is also very hot with the surface regularly reaching 400 degrees Celsius.

As we are talking about most exploring missions, MESSENGER is second NASA mission to Mercury, was launched on August 3, 2004. Most of the hemisphere not imaged by Mariner 10 has been mapped by MESSENGER, also the first orbital image of Mercury was obtained on March 29, 2011 and it is still active.

Galilean moons(Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto.)

The Galilean moons are the four largest moons of Jupiter discovered by Galileo Galilei in January 1610: Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. To explore these celestial bodies futher more, on October 18, 1989 NASA sent Galileo (spacecraft), also various space probes from Pioneers 10 and 11 to Cassini have studied these Galilean Moons.

Io is the innermost of the four Galilean moons of the planet Jupiter. In 1979, two Voyager spacecraft(NASA) revealed Io to be a geologically active world, with numerous volcanic features, large mountains, and a young surface with no obvious impact craters.The Galileo spacecraft(NASA) performed several close flybys in the 1990s and early 2000s, obtaining data about Io's interior structure and surface composition.

Most of the information collected on Europa, another one of Jupiter's moons, was taken by the Galileo mission(NASA), launched in 1989, that flew by Europa to gather data. It was concluded that there may be a water ocean beneath the silica rock surface, and extra-terrestrial life may be apparent.

Ganymede is a satellite of Jupiter and the largest moon in the Solar System. There have been various flybys(Voyager and Galileo by NASA in 1996 and 2000 ) to Ganymede, to no avail. There has been very little information collected about this moon, with some suggesting that a salt water ocean exists beneath its surface.

Callisto is another moon of the planet Jupiter. Conditions to sustain life on Callisto are less favourable than its neighbour, Europa, due to its cold temperatures. However, Callisto is the third largest moon in our solar system, a similar size to Mercury, but only a third of its mass. Various space probes from Pioneers 10 and 11 to Galileo(NASA in 1994 to 2003) andCassini(NASA,ESA,ASI) have studied Callisto.

Enceladus- NASA-ESA-ASI, Cassini–Huygens(2005)

Saturn's icy moon Enceladus is hiding a large body of water under its surface, it has a subcrustal liquid ocean and also contains traces of hydrocarbon compounds. From these they speculate that Enceladus might be yet another abode of life beyond the earth. In 2005 the Cassini spacecraft (NASA, ESA, ASI) performed several close flybys of Enceladus, revealing the moon's surface and environment in greater detail.

Less than 400 km in diameter, crater-covered Mimas is the smallest and innermost of Saturn's major moons. It is the smallest astronomical body that is known to be rounded in shape because of self-gravitation. Mimas has been imaged several times by the Cassini orbiter(NASA, ESA, ASI), which entered into orbit around Saturn in 2004. A close flyby occurred on February 13, 2010, when Cassini passed by Mimas at 9,500 km.

But a man named Baojun Yuan from China has made this expensive task possible even for a common man. Baojun Yuan is a member of China Senior Photographers Association. He has fixed more than 2000 old photos free of cost which has earned him great respect among the Chinese. He has been doing this for the past 16 years and yes; do be surprised when you come to know how old he is! Mr.Yuan is 76.

He is a perfect example that shows us that we are never too old to start something new. He started learning the software at a hoary age of 60 and very soon mastered the art of Photoshop. Since repairing old photographs would prove to be too expensive for a common man, Mr.Yuan himself bought a computer and a scanner and began servicing people for free.

Once when quizzed that why doesn’t he charge for his services, he humbly replied, “My teacher just taught me how to repair the photo, but he forgot to tell me how to charge.” Maybe the thanks and the smiles on the faces of thousands of photo owners who have got their pictures repaired would be equivalent to earning millions of dollars; that is why he doesn’t charge them.

STOPPED CLOCK ILLUSION: Sometimes, When You look At A Clock Time Seems To Stand Still.

Has it ever happened that you are in the middle of some serious work and suddenly your eyes look up to the clock on the wall and you find the second hand of the clock to be still, as if it has just taken a break in a moment of laziness? And after this moment, the clock ticks normally and the time restarts.

If yes, you do not have to worry and think too much about it. It is a normal experience that the psychologists name the stopped clock illusion. An ingenious experiment from a team at University College London recreated the experience in the lab by asking the volunteers to look away and then suddenly shift their gaze to a digital counter. When the subjects tried to judge how long they had been looking at the digit that first appeared, they systematically assumed it had been on for longer than it had. In this manner, the team managed to connect the experience of the stopped clock to the action of the person experiencing it. The explanation is as follows:

The action of moving our eyes from one point to another is extremely quick that most of us do not pay heed to what we are doing. But there is a momentary break in visual experience when you move your eyes from one point to another. Suppose, you stretch your arms out and move your eyes between the two index fingers and as you flick your eyes from left to right you will be able to detect an almost invisibly brief flash of darkness as input from your eyes is cut off. The theory lies in the fact that our brains tend to build stories about the world from the ongoing input of our senses.The break in information caused by the rapid eye movement need to be covered up, thus the brain fills this gap with whatever comes after the break. The UCL team also showed that the longer the eye movements, longer are the pauses in the stopped clock. Normally this subterfuge is undetectable, but if move your eyes to something that is moving with precise regularity, a clock for instance, you will spot this pause in the form of an extra long second.

Such illusions are created by a shift of attention. One is the dead phone illusion where in you pick up an old-fashioned phone and catch an initial pause between the dial tone that seems to last longer than the others. These illusions depict that something as simple as the time passing experience is constructed by our brains. Like with everything else, what we experience is our brain's best guess about the world. We are all time travelers, in the sense that we don't ever get to know time directly.
