I guide them in making healthier food and lifestyle choices that support their specific goals. What’s Your Favorite Thing About Working from Home?

My home is my favorite place to spend time . . . and I always have my two “office buddies” on the floor nearby while I work.

What One Piece of Advice Would You Give to Women Getting Started Working from Home?

Create a support system of other work-at-home people so that you don’t feel all alone in the world. Reach out to others in the same situation; there are so many work-at-home entrepreneurs who are willing to offer support and friendship.

Anything Else You’d Like to Share?

I’ve never been one to work in my pj’s and fuzzy slippers. I find that I feel more professional and get more accomplished when I take the time to get dressed and do my hair and makeup.

What’s Your Favorite Thing About Working from Home?

Comfort and flexibility. I can stop and do something else when I need to. It really allows me to incorporate my wellness lifestyle and enjoy my time at “work”.

What One Piece of Advice Would You Give to Women Getting Started Working from Home?

Take time to be active and drink enough water. If you do not know how much is enough: divide your weight in pounds by 2 and drink that many ounces a day. I would also suggest getting a health coach. Someone who will remind you to make your health a priority. There is a risk of over 75% productivity is lost becasue your health is not what it could be. Now that you are working for yourself you want the most you can get out of it.

Making the choice to work at home or start a home based business is a huge decision and takes commitment. Ge help when you need it and invest in yourself. Also, respect you as the business owner and take breaks and a lunch hourish . . . oh, I could go on with ‘advise’ as there is so much that I’d love to share with you!

Yes, reach out to others in the same business — have a mentor and a coach — the money you spend working with a Strategist/Coach is well worth it and the time . . . I wish I had done that years ago as I would have saved a lot of money and stress . . . ah, lessons learned!
