What will you choose?

For day-time keep it simple and choose a couple of interchangeable vest tops (1) that’ll be cool and can be thrown on over anything. Some light print harem pants (2) will keep you cool if the sun’s out and your legs covered if it gets a little chillier in the afternoons/evenings and denim shorts (3) will always work to thrown on at the beach or when you’re off for a day out.

For evenings ensure you pack an easy-to-wear and non-creasing jersey dress (4) which can also double for day-wear if necessary. Chuck in a pile of gold-coloured and over-sized and fun accessories (5) to dress any outfit up for a night out!

For the beach, always make sure you pack your sunglasses (6) and a hat (7) to keep your eyes and head covered. A shawl (8) is always useful – wear as a sarong over your bikini (10), wrapped around you at night and use as a blanket on the airplane! A kaftan (9) is a great cover-up for the beach and you can throw it on over your swimsuit (11) for lunch. Finally, make sure to throw everything you need for the day into an over-sized beach bag (12).

I hadn’t shopped at Zalando before and so I was intrigued by what sort of service I would receive. This is the main thing that concerns me when shopping online and the first thing that I check out in order to asess the level of service is the brands site. Zalando’s site is easy to navigate and has all of the information necessary for an enjoyable shopping experience. The extent and variety of stock available is another requirement I look for when choosing to buy online and Zalando certainly fulfills that!

And what of my new purse? Well, I adore it!!! The colour is perfect for the summer – and makes it easy to find in the bottom of whichever huge bag I’m currently using! The eight card slots mean that each of my various discount and loyalty cards have their own special place.

I always remember my mum telling me not to spend a lot on my purse, or I’d have nothing to put in it! Shrewd advice but when it’s a gift, I felt I may as well choose something a little more special that the usual. Do you splurge on special pieces or do you prefer to save your pennies to put into your purse?!

For less than £2 (!!) they add a bit of fun to your outfit without breaking the bank!

I love the Rani dress which plays on lengths to create something a little special for balmy evenings. Why not add the rope belt for a little more interest? For daytime, I like to keep it simple with denim shorts and a tee. This feather detail tee has just enough detail to ensure it’s day-ready. If you’re out in the sun, a hat is a must and this trilby will keep you safe and stylish. Finally a big bag will mean you have everything you need, whether on the plane or at the beach.

• Beachwear is a must. During the day you’ll likely spend much of your time by the pool or on the beach or somewhere in between the two – mainly sleeping off the previous night’s party!
• For daytime cover-up, choose either a pair of denim hot pants or a maxi dress/kaftan/cover-up which can also be dressed up for early evening drinks to watch the sunset.
• For club and bar openings pretty much anything goes in Ibiza! The boho look was born in 1960s’ Ibiza and this season’s tribal print trend is ideal for a holiday to the party island.
• For footwear at night, I’d advise flat embellished sandals for dancing the night away until the wee hours – but if that’s not your bag, why not choose a pair of wedges instead?
• As for accessories? Big sunglasses are the ultimate Ibiza accessory.
• Pile the bracelets high on your arms and the gold chains around your neck – this is the place – if ever there was one – for the arm party!!

I love a good limited edition make-up collection – particularly when it’s from Boots No7. This summer’s limited edition collection launches in store and online tomorrow and I was most excited about the prospect of the sparkle top coats, so when I was offered the chance to try them, I jumped at it!
