This week's 'Pamper Me Pretty' recipe not only smells delicious, but it softens and heals the skin as well! So while it might be tempting- try not to eat the recipe beforehand! LOL...

Strawberry Almond Milk Bath

8 large strawberries
2 cups milk
1 tbsp almonds
1 tbsp wheat germ (optional)
Mix ingredients in a blender until smooth. Add to warm bath and enjoy!

I have the biggest weak spot for cute socks!! You will almost never catch me walking around the house without 'em. So when I found this line, I was like a kid in a candy shop! So anyone who knows me knows that I LOOOOOVE chunky jewelry; the bigger the better! So today I decided to focus on designer Kenneth Jay Lane's jewelry line. As I was searching the web for new fall colors, I ran across this simple but GORGEOUS tutorial on how to achieve this look! And it includes one of my favorite lines; MAC! (Thanks, Temptalia!)

You will need the following MAC shades:

Gilded Green Pigment (cool pastel green)

Talent Pool Eyeshadow (teal)

Deep Truth Eyeshadow (dark blue)

Smoke & Diamonds Eyeshadow (gray with gold flecks)

Femme-fi Eyeshadow (cool neutral)

Mystery kohl powder (teal-black)

Mascara (black)- I personally am crazy about Sephora Brand Curling Mascara...

You will also need the following MAC brushes: Brushes: #266 , #239 and #129

How to apply:

First define brows using a coordinating powder shadow.

Then apply Gilded Green pigment all over the lid as the base with MAC's 266 brush.

Next apply Talent Pool eyeshadow using brush 239.

Now apply Deep Truth to the outer edge of the lid dragging into the crease.

Darken the outer crease with Smoke & Diamonds eyeshadow.

Sweep Femme-fi eyeshadow underneath the brow bone to highlight.

Finish with Mystery kohl powder on lower lash line, and black mascara on lashes.

And there you have it; pretty as a picture!!! Enjoy!

Ok, so I absolutely LOVE making my own beauty products! It's so easy to do, and you get all the benefits of a really expensive spa treatment for half the price!! Plus it's a great stress reliever! Try this in the shower, and I promise, your skin will be as soft as a baby's bottom!

Heavenly Homemade Sugar Scrub
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup almond oil
1/2 tsp. vitamin E drops (optional)
6 drops lavender essential oil
2 drops eucalyptus

Blend ingredients together, put in a jar and VOILA! Can be used immediately; but be careful in the shower as it's really slippery. ENJOY!!!
