Woohoo! Happy New Year! I shall kick start 2012 with a tag from a cute bunny. (no I did NOT mean cute as in adorable but ugly =_=)

Okay apparently I have to post 11 facts about myself. HMMM... *thinks deep & hard*

1. I'm very indecisive (evidence below). I don't like making choices/decisions cos I can never really decide.

2. I eat like a pig sometimes. Yes. Dinner, supper, ice cream and if I sleep real late, midnight snack.

3. I was very insecure about my looks and wouldn't go out without makeup and lenses. I guess it's better now since I do out bare faced but I still prefer to dress up.

4. Nowadays I tell people to NOT buy me presents cos I can be really picky. Not buying anything is better than giving me something I don't like and I have to use it lol "It's the thought that matters" so.. bring me out for lunch instead! Haha..

5. I'm afraid of hamsters cos one bit me when I was young. In fact, I'm afraid of anything tiny cos they are capable of climbing into my ears, nose and other places I don't want it to go in. Slept with 1 eye open when we discovered 'bed bugs' in my room.

6. No offense to anyone who reads this : I dislike people who preach non stop. Partially because a friend in primary school told me I was going to hell because I'm not part of a certain religion. Like, seriously?!? Everyone is free to believe anything they want but you gotta stop trying to force everyone else to believe in what YOU believe.

7. Erm.. I like computer games. Have always loved them. Someone called me boyish for my choice of games =[ And to those parents who say computer games are bad, I'm gonna tell you that I actually learnt a hell lot from them!

Gosh, I'm already so 'dry'.

8. People think I wasted so much time since I have not started my degree course yet but I feel that the break has diverted me from my intended course and probably avoided much regret later on. Met many great people during my part time jobs and definitely learnt a lot too.

9. Totally random but I absolutely can't stand having long leg hair. Tried growing them out again but it's just an eyesore.

10. I'm afraid of the stove =/ I think my skin is thin or something? I cannot stand heat at all. Plus the stove kinda very mildly 'exploded' due to a malfunction once and burnt the hair on my hand and that gave me phobia. Actually it wasn't even an explosion but the flames reached my hand on the knob. Dropping foodstuff into hot water also freaks me out.

11. My parents are 'DIY people' who paint their own house, help me with school 'carpenter' projects, solder things, make their own kitchen counter (true story), did mild renovations on my sister's house, move sinks, installed a multi-output 'watering system' & stuff like that. You get the idea. One day I wish to be that kind of parent for my children =) So cool when you go to school and your wood project is the only one that's finished and you can actually complete your homework at home since you have the tools xD

Now, the part where I have to answer Bunny's interrogation!

1.) If incarnation existed, what do you think you were in your previous life?

A male human.

LOL I don't know why so don't ask me.

2.) You're going on a dinner date with a hot guy/hot girl/your bf/your gf, what are you going to wear?

A mini dress with moderately high heels if it's a hot guy. Maybe higher heels if it's my bf (since I can cling on to him if I fall). Shorter heels so I can RUN AWAY if the hot guy turns out to be a total creep! =/

3.) What is your 'safety color' for clothes? (what color clothes do you tend to buy the most?)

Black. I like to shop online so I would expect the quality to be absolute crap. Hence, the darker the colour, the better. I wouldn't buy white clothes as they tend to be sheer.

4.) If you could keep an exotic animal, what would it be?

Giraffe! But then it's so tall I can't stroke its head. And I think unicorns are mystical, not exotic. In fact, I'm not sure now if giraffe is considered an exotic animal. Hmm.. Is a zebra one?

Okok.. Probably a TIGER? =D Only if it's a vegetarian. If not, then a ferret lols

5.) What is your best features?

Gosh this is a hard one! My friends would say dimples but I'll go with my waist. I freak out if I get a tummy (omg I sound anorexic).

6.) Tell me one thing will surprise me about your self!

Oh my.. A lot of things would surprise you, dear bunny. But those are not internet/young children friendly so... (get back to you on this xD)

7.) Tell me something you absolutely Love!

For something to qualify under 'absolutely love', I would have to want it to happen everyday, right? Waking up in the morning with cold weather and having warm blankets! Then comes a familiar pair of arms to hug me. Yay!

I also love jelly fish & salmon sashimi!

8.) Tell me something you absolutely Hate!

People who torture animals for fun. I'm not talking about those 'ban KFC/McDs/whatever' films. Did you know there is a forum somewhere that pays pretty ladies to wear stilettos while inflicting pain and killing poor innocent animals? Pardon my English but...

WTF is wrong with you sick people?!?! I hope karma gets you.

9.) Your house is on fire! What's the first thing you would grab?

Phone. Which is kinda stupid but it's something that kinda stays with me wherever I go. My house is on fire! No time to rummage through my bag to take my precious lipbalm =_=

And that's assuming my stupid dogs know how to run out themselves or else they would be my top priority. Duhh..

10.) Clubbing or Pubs? Why?

Pubs. I don't really like clubbing due to the noise, crowd, sticky sweaty people (ewww!!) & expensive drinks.

If I'm not lazy, hair serum. Apart from that, I don't think there is anything I apply particularly after shower.

This is my go to blusher when I work because it gives such a lovely natural colour plus it's long lasting and pigmented. Great when you don't have time to touch up.

Empro Triangular Eyebrow Pencil

I know not everyone can draw their eyebrows but this makes it so much easier even for makeup newbies. If I have enough time to do anything more than concealer, this will be the next step.

So many eyeliners out there with different looks, tips, formulas and colours but this is the one that suits me the best! ^_^

Cursed with dry lips for my whole life, I've climbed mountains and swam across oceans to search for a magical lipbalm that can end this curse. And finally... I found THIS. Hidden in a locked chest in a high tower guarded by fire breathing dragons. They couldn't stand the sight of my chapped lips and let me through. Yay..~

Maybelline Lip Smooth (Strawberry)

I always carry 3 lip products with me when I go out : a lip balm, a lipstick and a gloss. I'm gonna cheat and put this under lipstick due to it's colour lol I don't usually like lipsticks but this is natural looking and moisturizing.

Rimmel Vinyl Lip Gloss (Pin Up)

Go to lip product for work (moisturizing & long lasting) and almost always with me (1 of the 3 lip products mentioned above).

NOTD : Green Gradient Polka Dots

Honestly, this is a 'borrowed' design lol I saw a similar design from a blog but I don't recall which. I remember it had a gray base and the dots were also placed diagonally and were different shades of green. I considered using blue or pink but I somehow had a craving for green polish =/ The darker green & yellow were quite useless if I apply them on the whole nail but they turned out good as dots.

Left my base clear which looks kinda strange but interesting xD The good thing about not using base colour? The regrowth is not noticeable! Which means you can keep your manicure on longer. Yay~

I used 5 different polishes but the thumbs could use an extra dark one but I got too lazy and didn't wanna use black (don't have a darker green). This is actually one of those 'looks complicated but is actually darn easy' designs. MUST do this in other colours in the future! Wheee~~

Dots were done using the biggest dotting tool in this set.

I think I should put more effort into my nails or STOP buying nail polishes =/

Nail Tek Crystal Nail File

I've heard of crystal nail files before but it was all negative comments like

'too fragile until it breaks easily'

'so gentle you can't even file your nails'

'not worth the price'

My sis bought one and told me it's so good but I didn't believe her until I tried it out myself and.. OMG it's awesome! I could not believe my eyes when I first used it.

I'm used to using metal nail files (apparently only meant for fake nails) or those red ones (you should really throw those after a few uses). It really shocked me to see something so smooth do such a good job. This is by Nail Tek, purchased from My Nail Solution.

It's a mini sized file, originally in a set that looks like this. They sell the big one too for I think RM 70++.

I've always wondered how people get such straight squarish nails. No matter how carefully I clipped mine, I couldn't get the shape I wanted. Now it's so much easier with this crystal file. I don't have proper before & after photos (regret I did not take them!!) as these are already after I reshaped my nails.

I just lay the file flat on the tip of my nail and begin filing it then round the corners a little (you don't wanna scratch yourself). It only takes seconds for each nail. IMO, it's even easier to file your nails shorter than trying to 'trim' your nails with a nail clipper.

Voila! Sorta straight tips lol My pointer and middle finger tend to get rounder when they grow longer so I have to file the edge to 'maintain' the shape.

*Filing your nails in 1 direction is better than left-right-left-right. I find it more comfortable to file from the sides towards the middle.

*Don't be afraid to experiment with your nail shape. They will grow..

*Be gentle. Especially if you have soft/brittle nails. A good nail file requires less pressure and doesn't damage your nails as much.

Comments on the crystal file

Yes, it does look pretty fragile. That's why it comes with that case. And yes, it is pretty expensive but it should last a long time (provided you don't drop it) and the outcome is totally worth it!

Definitely repurchasing one of these if I happen to break mine or lose it.

Maybelline Make Up Remover

Have been in love with this makeup remover from Maybelline ever since the first time I tried it. It is my absolute HG product! Whatever my cleansing oils/creams/waters etc can't remove, this will do the job. Except those eyeliners that stain, of course. It says eye & lip but honestly, I use this all over my face sometimes. It just gives me peace of mind knowing it removed all the makeup.

This gets rid of BB creams, foundations, super PITA mascaras (Majorlica Majorca), dark eyeshadows, liquid/gel/pencil eyeliners and pretty much whatever I put on my face including eyelash glue which I would say is the toughest to remove (oh and glitter too). Despite it being so 'strong', it's extremely gentle on my eyes! No stinging sensation or cloudiness at all!

Shake the bottle to mix the two layers.. Taking too much of the blue oil will make it harder to wash off but the clear layer doesn't remove makeup.

This amount is enough for 1 eye. If I have very heavy makeup on, I'll use the whole cotton pad for my eyes and another for face & to wipe my eyes again.

It does leave an oily residue (must double cleanse) but not greasy like the Biore Cleansing Oil. It's sometimes compared to the Loreal one which is also bi-layer but IMO this cleans better and is less oily. On days I only have light makeup on, I wouldn't use this on my whole face though as it's oilier than the Empro Perfect Makeup Remover. A new competitor has come up which is by Biore in the pink bottle. Have not tried it but I do wonder if it will replace Maybelline as my HG makeup remover.

Lunch at Delicious Sunway Pyramid

Random : That awkward moment when you forget your own BF's birthday is today cos you were so engrossed in blogging.

Celebrated Adelyn's birthday at Delicious, ~~1 Utama~~ (just remembered it's actually Pyramid!) last week. Actually went straight in holding our Chatime which we tapaued from SS2Mall cos that's where the best Chatime is.

I guess you could estimate the price of the dishes based on the look of a restaurant's menu lol

And.. The interior =/

Those 'trees' look like coat hangers or deer antlers.

Us with the birthday girl (Marian, Adelyn & I). Can't believe I've known this girl since 10. It's been a whole decade!

On to the food! Nobody ordered the meaty main dishes cos it was too expensive. There was even an RM 99+ set! lol~~

Huge chunks of cheese on top which I thought looked like potato peel. Not bad but I'm not a fan of carbonara to begin with. This was Marian's top pick.

DON'T underestimate this because of its small size. It's really creamy and filling. Very cheesy.

My least favourite out of the 5.. Probably Napolean Bonaparte's fav dish. Has a smoky taste from the beef bacon but I didn't like how it combined with the sauce. The presentation is kinda meh too.

I would actually recommend this over the rest due to it's price and portion. There's a lot of meat inside and it's quite tasty. Adelyn didn't eat her veges though.. xD

Not too impressed with my food either. It's not bad but could be better. I couldn't finish this though (partially because of the Chatime).

Cupcakes in place of the normal birthday cake! A guy seated in another table (not the 1 in the pic) was singing Happy Birthday along with us xD

Pink Pop Phone

Remember the 'phone' you plug into your handphone which I blogged about previously? Well... I got mine! And in my favourite colour. Hehehe...~

Since I don't have a mic, I can use this to make calls via Skype to my friends all over the world. Don't really have many friends in other countries I would call though... *foreveralone*

Use it with your laptop, handphone, iPad etc. You can even listen to music on this. The pick up button works to pause and play the music =)

It's actually like a normal sized phone.

Which.. You can do silly stuff with. But that's the whole point! Take a creative photo with your Pop Phone and join the Pop&Pose contest to win trips to Japan, Bali or an iPad2!

Winter Solstice & Christmas

Well, it's 2.30am on 25th December here so... Merry Christmas! No, it isn't snowing here and no, I did not go for Christmas countdown etc. Just me and the dogs at home =)

I hope I don't turn into those old women who live with their 100 cats.

Aaanyway.. Since the whole world is probably posting about Christmas, I'm gonna show you something less popular but still sorta related to this season which is the Winter Solstice. On that day, we're supposed to make tang yuan which is glutinous rice ball in syrup.

Yes, I'm a perfectionist so my tang yuans have to be arranged in a nice circle with the big ones outside =/ But no, I'm not perfectionist enough to make them perfectly round and in the same sizes lols The lazy side of me took over then.

Yum! It's tradition to eat tang yuan every year so you will grow 1 year older (does this mean people who wanna stay young should avoid this? xD)

I know this looks gross

But it's actually coffee tang yuan! Just replace water with coffee while making the dough.

'Quail eggs' were actually sesame paste filled tang yuans. Mix the black sesame with butter and wrap it with the dough. Recipes can be found online.

Actually spent like 3 hours doing these cos my sis & I were slow hahaha.. Nowadays you can buy ready made ones from the supermarket but it tastes horrible! Cannot compare with the homemade ones at all..

Dunno what to blog about today so I'll show some pics.

Recently had cravings for gummy bears (gummy bears!) and found them at Cineleisure. RM 5.50 for 100g. I was almost done with the bag before realizing they're actually butterflies, not gummy bears? =/

Mum cooked shark for dinner. It's actually quite yummy with a single long cylindrical bone in the middle.

Wore another top from Tanks for 5 to work. I'm eye-ing more of their skirts. Should I get more? =/ Think I already overspent though.. Feel so broke..

Because.. I bought more contact lenses from MagicColour! xD Had to take advantage of their promotion.. Was so shocked as the parcel arrived yesterday when I haven't received their account details to pay. Hence I concluded...

I got Moonlight Pink, Sparkling Aqua (omg backup of my favs), Stilette Gray & Violet, Blushy Brown & Blushy Green.

Major rant about this job.. The 3rd girl came super late (apparently a replacement), wore high heels, didn't tie her hair (we were told to) and wore heavy makeup (jobscope was event crew & setup). Then she didn't wanna help out, probably feared she'll ruin her pretty gel nails and pedicure (she stood there admiring them while we went around doing work). After work, she was the first to leave because she wanted to go back and 'needed to be somewhere'. Yeah, like the rest of us didn't want to go back. Selfish bitch.

My Pop Phone arrived.. Chose PINK! Hehehe..

Finally couldn't take my stupid weirdly orangey/golden/yellow & desperately needs redye hair and drowned it in Liese. Not sure if I like it. Review coming soon =/

Beginning to love coffee! One thing I don't understand though.. I bought a packet of Nescafe 3-in-1s for RM 12 which contains 30 sachets so if I drink a cup everyday, it'll last me a month. 1 cup of coffee at Starbucks is also about RM 12. Why are people still drinking it?!? @_@ For the price of your 1 cup, I can drink coffee for a month!

Saw Anna updating her FB status about being in Taiwan and I buey paiseh asked her to help me buy Solone eyeliners xD 2 black & 2 golden black! Which added to my broke-ness. Then apparently there were also Shiseido curlers for RM 15 only omfg @#&@*!

Oh yeah, bought a birthday present for Andrew. A pair of shoes.. Which actually he picked and I forced him to let me pay for them =/ Suck at surprises. But I was desperate! If I didn't buy the shoes, I had no idea what to buy T_T! Then got him a ~~pirated~~ computer game for Christmas (omg so cheapo) which actually he let me buy to settle the whole what-to-buy-for-him dilemma. As he would say.. I'm just horrible =/

Apart from the above mentioned products, I also got a Maybelline Hypersharp liner & Babylips lipbalm (I'm so sorry, wallet). Seriously thinking if I should buy Essential haircare products as I saw someone selling it on Lowyat but it's quite pricey considering the price in Singapore Dollars. Later buy already then they decide to bring it in to Malaysia /wrist

HOW?! Only have a few days to decide as the girl is leaving to Singapore soon =(

Daiso Natural Pack

I know I said I don't really use peel off masks but this is only RM 5 and Nicole recommended it so.. =x

Hate hate hate 'strawberry nose'! Must find a way to get rid of it =( The blackheads, that is.. Not my nose.

I think it smells like talcum powder and perhaps a little floral. Not bad..

Love the consistency of this. It's watery enough to spread easily yet thick enough to somehow cling on to skin without dripping (it was almost dripping off my finger though). Like other peel off masks, you must spread this evenly without gaps in between or else it won't come off in 1 piece. I found that applying this in a circular motion is better.

Avoid eye area!! It's very painful x_X I only applied this on my nose area as I know it'll hurt elsewhere (except my chin). It's the gentlest peel off mask I've tried so far though ^_^

After 10 minutes, it should have dried and turned into a stiff matte black sheet. Make sure all parts are dry before peeling! Peel it from the top as instructed. It was surprisingly very easy to peel off compared to my other mask.

Thankfully, easy to peel off did not translate to not doing it's job. I peeled it off slowly and saw it pulling out the gunk from my pores (gross but strangely amusing). Like a million of my fine facial hairs also got trapped in it. Can't see much difference in the photo but my pores appeared cleaner than before. Skin wasn't very much dried out either. In fact, it looks smoother and more moisturized than before??? o_O

The white flakes are my dead skin (nose dandruff?). Some white/black heads were stuck here but it's mostly hair.

Don't attempt to wash or wipe peel off masks from your finger. Simply wait for it to dry and peel it off. It's that easy. You'll get a cool fingerprint too xD

It did cross my mind that a black mask would look uglier than a clear/light coloured one though =/ Wonder if someone will come out with a pink mask. Hehe~~

Bright Yellow Leopard Nails

You're probably sick of seeing my leopard nails by now lols~ Sadly, it's like the only nail art I know =_=" But this is an improvised version =/ More dots but smaller ones. Almost killed my left hand drawing the circles around the dots. More dots = more work! x_X

Yellow base is my new nail polish from The Face Shop. Quite cheap for about RM 5 ^_^ 1st coat was streaky but 2nd coat made it better. It applies easily without being sheer or 'lumpy'. It also dried quite fast so yay~

Orange dots are Essie's Haute As Hello. It's a tad bit more salmon IRL.

Also got a white as I've been looking for a good white base for some time. So far all the ones I got suck =(

The reason why I like this? Look at the brush! It's the flat kind.. Covers more of my nail with one swipe so it's smoother with less lines.

I'm quite pleased with this nail polish. It's good for the price.. Will consider getting more shades!

Marie Beauty Fake Eyelash Glue

Don't be tricked! This is not an 'eye cream'. In fact, you should never ever let this get into your eye. I think this is easy to find locally since when I mentioned it, quite a number of girls know what I'm talking about.

Comes with 12 ml of product (honestly, some of it dries/hardens on the sides but it's still a lot of product).

For those who can read Mandarin..

This is my first glue so I can't compare it to others but I do like the applicator. Great for touch ups if the ends come out or something. Much easier to use this compared to those in tubes. Plus the bottle is hard so I don't have to worry about it bursting in my bag.

If you noticed, the glue is actually purple but when it dries, it turns white/clear. I don't have to use a lot of this. The amount above is sufficient for 1 side. Apply a thin layer to your fake eyelash and wait for it to dry a bit before wearing it. If you use too much, some white gunks will be visible & the falsies tend to slide about initially, creating a mess.

First time testing shots at night with my new Olympus Pen Lite. All of a sudden, I'm beginning to like Christmas deco at malls although I wouldn't go all over the place to see all of them =_="

MagicColour Ballerina Pink

Contact lenses have become a big part of my life. Not only do they allow me to see clearly, they enhance my features and I can choose different colours to wear based on my mood ^_^

My love for huge lenses started with my pink Puffy lenses. Some girls are intimidated by the 16mm diameter but honestly, I love it! Ever since then, I've always thought of going back to pink lenses cos well.. It's PINK!

This is a pair of MagicColour Ballerina Pinks.

The design is so fine and delicate. I wish it was pinker like the 'wrong side' though xP

It's not as bright as my fav Sparkling Aquas but it's a different look. This gives a more subtle colour (although pink itself is not a natural eye colour) since there's more black.

I always pose with this pair of shades even though I never wear them out since they're uncomfortable and the shape doesn't suit me =/

Have you seen this photo of Daniel Craig before? To tell the truth, I chuckled when I first saw it. Is that the latest spy equipment? A handphone disguised as an.. er.. phone =/ Lols~

Then I somehow stumbled upon isabelleman.com while browsing in Facebook and discovered that.. That lil phone attached to his handphone is actually a Native Union Pop Retro Headset aka Pop Phone.

So why do you need this?

1) You are all probably aware of the news/rumours about our handphones emitting harmful waves. This pop phone can eliminate over 99% of absorbed phone radiation!

Panel Skirts & Leopard Printed Tops

This is the second time I'm buying from Tanks for 5. I'm still wearing the clothes from my first purchase and still loving 2 of them. If you're not aware already, I do not buy branded clothes. Why buy 1 piece at RM 100 when I can buy 4 at RM 25 each?! xP Well, yeah, the quality may be better and there are more sizes (cheap ones are free size) but I'll save when I can..

Tank tops here are RM 5 only but the other clothes are pretty cheap too! Got 2 panel skirts & 3 tank tops for a total of RM 72 including postage.

The panel skirts have an elastic waist band. Length is about 37 cm which is just perfect for me ^_^ Quite comfy since it's a lil stretchable. The other one is actually gray cos I already got a black one from Gyaru Fashionistas (wanted to blog about this but their blogshop disappeared). Now regret I didn't get the Royal Blue one as well! And perhaps that red.. Unfortunately, I can't wear this high waisted since it's too big for my waist.

Found the colour of this cream skirt to be quite unique so I grabbed it. I usually never buy light coloured clothes online since they tend to be sheer but I took my chances since I like panel skirts lol It is a little sheer so you gotta be careful with what underwear you wear! Not too bad cos of the horizontal lines though.

Didn't realize all 3 I chose were leopard prints =_="

I try to only buy the ones with lines like this as they're much more stretchable and oh so comfy ^_^

Would I return? Yes! It's in my list of bookmarks and I always check for updates. I spot many nice dresses but the seller normally only stocks dresses that are between 70-77 cm so I can't wear them =( Too short for me! *sigh*

False Love

I've always been a mascara girl but a recent outdoor job (oh the HORROR of mascara smudges!) has forced me to wear falsies instead.

Unlike my sister, I'm not a fan of dramatic lashes. But I think super natural ones that aren't noticeable are pointless as well. Why wear something extra if it isn't going to be visible or make a difference? Not like they have other uses like coloured contact lenses that actually help you see better.

The ones I'm wearing here are fake Dolly Winks (I think) from the night market. They add a certain something to my eyes while still keeping it relatively natural enough. Plus I don't even have to line my eyes when I'm in a hurry cos of the thick band.

Can you see how the false eyelashes really opened up my eyes? You can't even see my natural lashes here. So sad... =(

The only thing different between the photos below is the lashes! Gosh.. See the difference? And these are considered quite natural ones..

I'm using this glue which is labeled as Eye Cream (what...??). It's strong enough to stick for many hours but still pretty easy to remove. I just pull it off unless my real lashes are caught in the glue then remove the remaining glue with an eye makeup remover. The inner corners do still have a tendency to come off slightly. Hence, I carry the glue with me whenever I have falsies on =/ I think this is a problem with my eye shape though. So I won't blame the glue..

Sister's drama lashes which I'll probably never wear @_@, my falsies and a box of handmade ones which are too thick for my liking.

If you noticed the tiny bunches of falsies, those are the excess that I snipped off. I dislike wearing falsies starting from the tear duct. It's much more comfortable a little bit further away and it looks better too. Hence, I always cut off a tiny bit from the end.

More Nail Polishes I Don't Need

Sis went shopping for 'pregnant friendly nail polishes' at My Nail Solution in Three 2 Square (or is it 3 Two Square?) and I tagged along, not intending to buy anything. I'm like super kiamsiap so I won't buy nail polishes for RM 55 when I can get them online for RM 20+ (actually, I won't even buy those =_=").

However, they had a clearance rack where some shades of Essie were RM 20 only. After comparing between like 10 bottles of similar shades, I chose these 2. I have no idea what shades they are as there's no label on the bottle.

They're both shimmery colours but the cream one is much sheerer and harder to work with.

Sis gave me her crystal nail file which came in the set. I read somewhere that crystal nail files are too fine to do anything but my sis disagrees. It comes in this bright fuchsia container which you have to protect your file with since it is fragile.

My current nails : The Essie cream shade with glittery polish from Nature Republic. It looks better IRL, I swear =/ Didn't get macro lens for camera. Trying to replicate that OPI polish the bmic girl used on me.

There aren't many shades available. Mostly neutrals with some reds and pinkish purples.

My Beauty Diary Aloe Mask

Nose started peeling cos I've been lazy with my skincare lately =/ Time to pamper my skin with MBD!

Chose Aloe cos it's for 'intensive hydrating & repairing'. A lot of people use aloe vera 'gel' which can be obtained from the plant on their face/body. It's apparently good for sunburnt skin and works as a great hydrating mask. My mum uses it on her hair to help with hair growth. Which is mainly why I don't dare to put it on my face. I don't want any more facial hair; except eyebrows, of course.. but then I don't want 'eyebrows' growing at places where it shouldn't! =/

Gosh! MBD should consider using another font colour.. Silver is just so freaking hard to read! Squint at the ingredients list until eye pain =_="

Perfect fit! ^_^ Love pulp masks.. It stayed on so well, was still very moist when I took it off and didn't drip. You know that feeling when someone wraps his/her warm arms around you? That's how this sheet makes my face feel lol

Reese's Pieces Mega Balm

I'm sure you're all familiar with lip balms but what about MEGA balms? And one from Hershey's?

Got these from Supermodel's Secrets for 50% off (RM 8 instead of RM 16) through Everyday coupons. They arrived fast with some extra goodies (some not shown here) ^_^ Michelle is sweeter than this lip balm xD

It's like chocolate in a tube that you smear on your lips @_@! However... It is not meant to be eaten as food! It's alright to lick your lips but not to eat a few tubes for lunch (diet plan gone wrong?).

The balm inside is brownish and kinda looks like choco. At first it felt a lil waxy but it soon softened up. In fact, it crumbled a little =(

This lip balm smells like chocolate!! Some find it too sweet but I like it. It smells alright on my lips..

Yes, I can cover both lips in one swipe lol That's how big this lip balm is. The best part? It's sweet! Omg.. *licks lips* Perfect for girls with chocolate cravings ^_^

One main concern about a 'chocolate lip balm' : Will it look like I ate a chocolate bar and forgot to wipe my mouth? Well, as you can see in the swatch below, it's a sheer reddish brown. I don't see any difference on my lips though. I guess it's quite similar to my natural lip colour.

Moisturizing effect is not superb but I do enjoy using this =) Plus, you can now declare that your kisses are sweet xP

Pommes Frites, Sunway Pyramid

Being in a mood for pasta, Nicole & I headed to Pommes Frites in Asian Avenue, Sunway Pyramid. Apparently, Pommes Frites means french fries. We, being pastarians, did not try their fries =_="

Strange alien chairs which caught my eye.

Interesting but totally inconvenient menu due to it's weight. Imagine a table of 4 people, holding 4 of these =_=" I wonder if it fell on anyone yet.

Nicole had the menu as an appetizer.

This came with prawns, squid and clams. I wanted to add on mussels but it was RM 4 for 2 pieces. Seafood's fresh and I like the chunks of tomato. I found the sauce to be different though. I didn't like it at first but kinda got used to it. There's tomato chunks and black pepper in it.

Containing garlic, chilli flakes, prawns, squid & clams, this pasta would deter vampires! The one at Pizza Milano has more seafood but I prefer the seafood here. Oh yeah, this is already with additional RM 4 worth of prawns (4 prawns instead of 2 on mine) so this plate was RM 15.90.

I think pasta here is reasonably priced for the portion and contents. Taste is okay too. Next time I'll remember to try the fries lol

Himalaya Herbals Almond & Cucumber Peel-Off Mask

I rarely use peel off masks as my skin is sensitive towards them. It's kinda painful, causes redness and my skin is left feeling tight, dry and itchy =( But it does work to unclog pores and remove some fine facial hair (some of my 'blackheads' are actually hair!).

Looks like booger on my wall =_=" The mask was kinda watery.. As I was trying to capture a shot of it on my finger, it started 'moving' and was about to drip on my camera so in my panic, obviously I tried to save my camera by moving my hand away and it ended up on my wall =/

It spreads easily on my face though. I just use my finger and wait for it to dry then peel it off. NEVER use a brush or you'll have to throw it away after that. Or.. wipe it with a tissue or else you'll just have tissue stuck on your finger.

Spread it evenly on face in a THIN LAYER (thick layer will take forever to dry and you can't peel it while wet), avoiding eye/lip region (it's darn painful), hair lines & dry areas.

Make weird face in camera before your face gets too stiff.

Do not wait too long before peeling it off. In my experience, when it's really really dry, it hurts more T_T

Not gonna show you a photo of the 'peel' cos that's kinda gross lol It really got a lot of my facial hair and some clogged pores *amuses self by scrutinizing the mask and looking at all the stuff stuck in it* It's really weird that I can stare and stare at it with a sense of accomplishment =/ Am I the only one?

This is actually a BOWL, not a plate =_=" Loved the seaweed (omg can you see how much they put in there?), carrot and celery. The noodle is really nice and chewy too ^_^ I did not like the 'fishcake' though.. I just found the texture to be really strange. Plus the soup was annoyingly super salty. I had to 'dry' the noodles before eating them and then it was still salty! If it weren't for the soup, I would have liked this =(

Choose between soft booth seats and wooden chairs (choice is obvious). I quite like the ambience in this place. Plus there were tufts of grass behind me which made the place seem 'green'.

It's located on the block across Chatime, on the ground floor (outside). There's also one in Sunway Pyramid, LG2-126A, Blue Atrium.

Would I return? Perhaps! Close enough for a lazy lunch and I can have Chatime!

Went to check out the Mass Comm course in Taylor's Lakeside that day.. (Anyone studying there?) Gosh.. Parking there is horrible! Not to mention the guard scolded me for not having a sticker wtf I'm a visitor of course I don't have a sticker...

It's like a chicken & egg situation! I need a token from the office to enter the parking but in order to go to the office, I need to park first!

Headed straight to Sunway Pyramid after that cos Nicole had to shop for work clothes (it's a liiieee!! I'm always the one shopping in the end). Since we kinda melted under the sun earlier, we got ZenQ drinks. I ordered Jelly Milk Tea again. Really disappointed. It still doesn't taste as good as Chatime & I couldn't taste any jelly until I was almost finishing the drink.

New shoooeess! Am I the only idiot who bought two of the same thing but in different colours? Black one's for work & the pinkish one is for non-work =/ Now I think I should have taken a size bigger though. Dammit..

I think these are my first pink shoes.. And my first covered shoes which I willingly bought (kinda like sneakers but not sneakers). RM 50 each from Mod. I had refused to wear covered shoes cos they're so un-girly and just ugly.. Until.. I saw these! Hence, the double purchase for a quite unreasonable price (it's not of the best quality).

Er.. More polishes I don't need. Buy 2 free 1 at Nature Republic, RM 5.90 each.

I also got a pair of jeans from Parkson for RM 65 (half price.. yay!). A pair of jeans that actually FITS well =_=" Gosh.. It's hard to have fitting pants when your size keeps changing.

I think I got carried away that day =/ At least I practised a little self control and left Padini (omg Vincci heels for half price) empty handed =x
