My lovely pal Jess is on a new venture in her life and she started a new blog. So to catch her her stylish outfits and stories check out: http://thestylesense.blogspot.com/.

All good things must come to an end, but it’s only to make room for other great things. My lovely sister has joined my blog now, and I’m just so excited! We’re ages and worlds apart, but she is an awesome young lady. She won’t be posting many photos because of her busy lifestyle but she’ll be up here from time to time!

With that being said, I’m working on a new blog name! So don’t be alarmed when you see a new name.

Fall in Philly

2011-10-24T08:56:00.000-07:00

( Blazer - Forever21, Cropped Sweater - H&M, Bag - Kimchi & Blue, Boots - Cooperative, Scarf - Burberry Knockoff!)

I miss my bangs! Sorry...this is the new do' guys, bangs are hard to maintain! But anyway, this is fall in Philly! One of the parks where Irene and I love to shoot. I did a lot of layering in this outfit. Everything I got was on sale and no more than $30 on each item. The bag was a birthday gift from my mom which I absolutely adore now because it's a messenger bag and a clutch and purse all in one. Urban Outfitters has really great deals on bags if you dig though the clearance, which is also where I found my booties for only $20 originally $69! The scarf my favorite accessory here is a Burberry Knockoff I think from DSW and it's my moms....good eye mom. The print fooled me and a few high-end fashionistas and I would die a thousand deaths before I pay hundred of dollars for the real thing if a replica is available.

I encourage anyone to bargain hunt and always check the clearance racks! I do real looks for real women, and sorry uptight fashion bloggers but I don't see the point of some your blogs meant to share looks and insights when you feature $1000 shoes....not practical and definitely not made for the everyday girl you claim to be. Hi-lo fashion is the key.

Black Sheep (eric post)

2011-10-22T16:00:00.000-07:00

(Cardigan - H&M, tee - Hanes, Scarf - his own, jeans - Levis, Shoes - H&M)

Hey guys! We have another guest male today! This is Eric my other little brother (I have 4 haha!). Do you ladies think he looks like Nick Jonas? But anyways Eric likes to dress more casual than Jonathan and sports more laid back looks. I always "borrow" his cardigan because I swear it's lined with the fur of heaven. I call it the cloud nine cardigan. Eric is a little camera shy but still very excited to be on the blog and hear feedback.

Oh Lita

2011-10-20T21:24:00.000-07:00

Jeffrey Campbell Litas are the hottest rage. Even though I want a pair, I don't have Jeremy Campell money. Most my money goes towards bills and store loan, so I began to look at a more cost friendly clone :-)

Here's original one costing $185 (Jeffrey Campbell)

Found this one at Steven Madden costly $150 (Steve Madden) but its still a little to much for me. lol

Found this one on MintGreenSubmarine which I will aslo add she look quite lovely. I think their for a reasonable price of $50 (GoJane)

Also one for $40 by Qupid in my neiborthood shoe store which I should purchase right away :-)

I feel as though the BEST BUY one for the look are the GoJane but if you want the lower heel the Qupid looks and feels good to walk in to!

Also if I do get a pair it would mostly likely buy these because they are sooo WORTH IT to go hungry for a couple of days!

So Now I'm a happy camper with knowing my opinions on getting the look without burning a hole in my pocket!

Anna Molly

2011-10-17T09:05:00.000-07:00

"Anna Molly" - Incubus

(Earrings- gift from Guatemala, Shirt- Forever 21, Belt - Forever 21, Jeans - Levi's, Boots - H&M, Ring - my own custom, watch - vintage Rolex)

Hey guys, my hair is curly! These are my natural curls which is a rare sight. We shot this in my backyard. I like the muted fall colors and the vines. I recently went through my mom's old jewelry and found her old Rolex. Timepieces are making a comeback and this was very small and not too flashy. So fall is beginning and my favorite season, not just because the best people are born in October ;) *cough cough* but because I can wear booties and a light shirt and layer. Hopefully things we will see soon in posts. As you can tell I wear this ring a lot. It is my favorite piece of jewelry given to me by an ex lover sadly but nonetheless a work of art. Since I get asked where I got it from, it was handmade in New York by a street vendor. I picked out my own stone and color wire and voila! A lot of my jewelry is handmade and not expensive. I like jewelry with a story and meaning and a uniqueness because I know no one has the exact ring as I do. I miss NYC and hope to make a trip there again soon for the best off-beat street finds. Thanks Walle <3

Young Blood

2011-10-15T16:00:00.000-07:00

(Jacket - H&M, Tie -Penguin, Shirt - H&M, Belt - Kenneth Cole, Pants - H&M, Shoes - Urban Outfitters)

Our male guest model aka my little brother Jonathan is making his style appearance once again on SWS! You ladies showed him much love and he appreciated it so much. So from him to me to our followers Jon says.... well rather smiles a big cheesey smile of "Thankssss guys!".

Jon's number one tip for dressing is not to focus on what matches necessarily, but more of "what pieces compliment each other to little degrees enough to make an overall bold statement."

The title of this post comes from the song Young Blood by The Naked and Famous.

Found at bee mp3 search engine

Btw, he totally broke and proved wrong the mixing black with brown myth. Bravo little brother.
