By using his Sony XR500V camcorder, the video has a mirror filter and is flipped to give it that amazing effect. The choice of sound track music is great as well.

LADIES GO SHOPPING JUST WEARING UNDERWEAR AND HIGH HEELS

2011-04-14T17:22:00.012+07:00

Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex UK had some decidedly under-dressed shoppers at the weekend. This Shopping Centre gave the prizes to the first 100 women to turn up on last Sunday morning in nothing but their bra, panties and high heels competed to win £100 gift vouchers. After getting the gift card the girls who had dared to bare were then encouraged to hit the shops and buy themselves a new outfit. However, while women had already got a pair of high heels on, a surprisingly high number of them headed straight for the shoe shops, which must have made their walk home interesting.

"Kylie Minor, from Lakeside Shopping Centre said: "We loved seeing all our luscious ladies looking gorgeous in their underwear and heels and I’m sure they all enjoyed choosing an outfit from our wide range of new spring fashion in the stores afterwards."

FRING GROUP VIDEO CHAT ON iOS AND ANDROID

2011-04-09T06:54:00.004+07:00

Apple’s unveiled of the FaceTime is very magical and somewhat epic too. I mean, they managed to woo the crowd into something that’s so 2005, and what’s more it doesn’t work over GSM, and you’ve gotta find a bloody WiFi connection, and what’s more you can only FaceTime one person at a time. But it’s cool, so no biggie there. Right, well here’s another thing that you can have, and that’s Fring. Fring’s been around for quite some time now, and they’ve recently been testing group video call on Android and iOS. Yes, group video call on your iPhone!

The feature will allow up to four users to simultaneously connect, face-to-face in a Brady Bunch-like mosaic as seen above. The beta is currently accepting applicants, so if you think you’re worthy, and you hate FaceTime so much yet still own an iPhone, then head over to the source link to apply. Shame on you Steve Jobs!

EVENT COUNTDOWN CLOCK

2011-04-09T06:21:00.004+07:00

Here"s the stylish stainless steel clock functions as a regular alarm clock, plus it is an event countdown timer for any 3 events. All it does is to show you time. Every day you wake up to the same dull clock and see the days pass by with just a glimpse of your eye. Sucks right? Yep, sucks that you can only pre-set 3 events, so this still puts you into dilemma. The Event Countdown Clock is currently available at the Sharper Image for USD$30. Yes, it’s awesome to look at the clock when you wake up and realize that there’s still 300 days before your next annual vacation to Bali. Feels awesome, or sucks?

2011-04-04T06:44:00.003+07:00

The Sony Next Generation Portable (NGP) isn’t out yet, but it’s worth Sony’s mention. Sony’s streaming subscription music service, Music Unlimited, is headed to both the PlayStation Portable and its pair of divergent spiritual successors the Next Generation Portable and Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play. Eurogamer had a chat with Sony Network Entertainment VP Shawn Layden, who confirmed the news, that the service would be activated (at least in the UK) on PlayStation Portable “in a matter of weeks.” Meanwhile, Android phones including the infamous PlayStation handset will get Music Unlimited “this year,” and SNE “will make it happen” on the NGP as well, presumably sometime after the company reveals when its beast of a portable game station will actually come out.

STEAM USER'S BACK FROM VALVE

2011-04-03T22:10:00.003+07:00

According to Gabe Newell of Valve, the company is looking at the possibility of extending their Steam platform into iOS and Android platforms. A gaming service like Steam has done wonders on the PC and Mac; and with mobile gaming already having solid ground on the phones, PMPs and tablets, it seems only natural.

If Valve were to pursue Steam for mobile platforms, it could likely do so on Android. After all, Amazon just launched its own app store this week. iOS, on the other hand would be rather tough for Valve to venture into, as Apple won’t want to give up any of its app selling control, as well let anything threaten its Game Center service.

Besides this, according to a member of the Steam forums community that visited the Valve office, Steam will also be introducing a new video recorder feature which will let you easily record your gaming session without the needs for apps like Fraps. Prepare for lots of YouTube uploads.

iPHONE 5 RUMOR

2011-04-03T21:29:00.007+07:00

The iPhone 5 is likely to visually look like the iPhone 4. Brushed metal could however replace the glass on the back side. The design of the iPhone 5 could also be inspired by the iPad 2 which would mean a reduced thickness and a metallic back side with rounded off edges. A rumor announced for many years that the iPhone will one day be equipped with a physical sliding keyboard. The iPhone 5 camera could also be able to record 1080p FULL HD videos. On the other hand the 64Co model could available. just some mobiles. With or without glasses, the screen of iPhone 5 could handle the 3D display. The iPhone 5 will be available this summer or could be introduced between June and July and available right away.

TAG HEUER MIKROTIMER FLYING 1000 CONCEPT WATCH

2011-03-31T15:02:00.004+07:00

Here’s a new watch from TAG Heuer if you’re looking for one. TAG Heuer announced its game-changing new concept in very high-frequency chronograph technology at BaselWorld 2011 with interactive online press conference. The TAG Heuer Mikrotimer Flying 1000 concept watch is known as the first mechanical chronograph to achieve 1/100 accuracy and a speed of 500Hz. Set to debut later this week at Basal, the timepiece features a highly modern design with an innovative case system made of black titanium carbide and silver titanium horns. As this model is currently a concept watch, there is no word on when it will go into production, and how much, but I’m sure it’s going to be quite sky high.

PENCIL VS. CAMERA

2011-03-29T15:08:00.015+07:00

Here is the legendary "Tram 28" in Lisbon, Portugal. These awesome photos were done by Ben Heine. It runs through the narrowest and steepest streets of the Alfama district. He drew the sketch and took the photo.

Tram 28

Lisbon, Portugal
In a tram 28
A drawing erasable
Or a living state

Situation is complex
We are its fact
Visions from our cortex
Those we on react

Dream world between
Is it really so?
Frame of mind seen
The rest we don’t know

iPHONE 4- TV AD - APP CHANGES EVERYTHING

2011-03-26T08:06:00.008+07:00

Because Google’s Android is starting to eat up their apps market, and there’s the new contender WebOS that’s about to try and gobble some tiny bits of Apple’s smartphone and tablet market, and let’s not forget Microsoft, Apple’s biggest rival that started way back in those old days. Therefore, Apple is gearing up some ads to brainwash you and tell you what you’re missing out when you don’t have an iPhone. Basically, they’re just saying to you, that because you’re missing out lots of other iCraps because you don’t own a magical iCrap.

IN iOS 4.3 APPLE WEB APPS DOESN'T SPEED UP

2011-03-26T07:59:00.004+07:00

"Apple is aware of the issues, which are currently filed as bugs. But according to Matt Asay, who is vice president of business development for mobile Web framework maker Strobe, Apple supposedly has no plans to fix them. Instead, they are marked "not to be fixed by exec order," suggesting that a higher up at Apple is preventing engineers from fixing the problems. Asay characterized that scenario as "slimy" and "malicious," believing it is designed to make Web-based apps appear to perform poorer. That might persuade developers to create native apps that must be distributed via the App Store, where Apple has full control over what is approved or rejected."

Apple gave Safari a JavaScript boost in iOS 4.3 to make pages load faster, however in-app browsers or web apps seemed to have missed that ‘training session’. Ars Technica has confirmed that pages or web apps loaded using those methods aren’t getting the optimization that Safari gets in iOS 4.3, which is found to be 2.5 times faster than Safari in iOS 4.2. However, do remember that they’re still running the same speed as when they’re in iOS 4.2, so you shouldn’t be feeling a big difference compared to when you’re still on iOS 4.2, besides feeling that all of a sudden Safari seemed faster in page load. Not surprisingly, that has prompted some to speculate that it’s all part of a grand plan on Apple’s part to force developers to use full-fledged apps instead of mobile apps, but Ars Technica points out that it could just as easily be due to some technical problems.

SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB LUXURY EDITION

2010-12-15T13:56:00.003+07:00

Samsung has launched a new ‘luxury limited edition’ Galaxy Tab at the Millionaire Fair. It Called the Galaxy Tab Luxury Edition. It’s selling from December 15th, 2010 until January 31th, 2010. They repackaged the tablet with an exclusive leather case and a Bluetooth headset. They’ve also chosen a black box to portray a more luxury feel for their buyers. Sadly though, the tablet’s spec hasn’t been changed a bit. You’re still getting the same 7-inch tablet with Froyo, the same 1GHz processor, and the rest of the suspects. Then again, you’re paying a premium price of €749 approx. USD$990 just for that black packaging.

CENTURY RAZOKU LINE CRIB535EUF SUPER COMBO HARD DRIVE

2010-12-15T13:47:00.002+07:00

Century Japan has launched a new super-combo external hard drive bay called the Century Razoku Line CRIB535EUF. It’s essentially a bay that can house five hot-swappable 3.5-inch SATA hard disks, so you can change your hard disks easily without needing to mingle around in your computer’s chassis. More so if you chassis are rather complicated, though these days you can easily find new portable and compact 1TB external drives at the size of 2.5-inch. The bay measures at 5.1-inch x 7.3-inch x 10.2-inch and weighing 7.3 lbs, the storage device supports hard drives of up to 3TB per bay for a total of up to 15TB of storage space.

Luckily the Century Razoku Line CRIB535EUF also provides a USB 3.0, Firewire and eSATA ports for a high speed transfer rate, so that you don’t have to wait the whole day for your data to get transferred. The drive is cooled with a couple of 60mm cooling fans to make those metal bricks chilled at all times. The Century Razoku Line CRIB535EUF is compatible with the Microsoft Windows 7, Vista, XP and Mac OS X.

CHAMELEON X-1 MOUSE FROM SHOGUN BROS.

2010-12-15T13:35:00.003+07:00

Here is the Chameleon X-1 mouse from Shogun Bros. You can easily flip it up and play your Mario bros. that is because the bottom of the mouse not only house the 1600 dpi optical sensor, it also houses 14 buttons. Yes, the “select” and “start” look awfully familiar. There’s also 7 buttons on the top, but I don’t think you’d care really, since you’re busy playing your Mario and spying on whether mum will be entering the room again. But the good thing is that this is a wireless mouse with a USB 2.4GHz wireless dongle, so you shouldn’t have any problem with snakes and ladders. Sadly, there’s no pricing on this mouse cum PC gamepad, so you can only dream of dad buying you this as Christmas present.

iPAD FRONT AND BACK CAMERA COMING NEXT APRIL 2011

2010-12-13T14:51:00.003+07:00

iPad rumours of the next iPad have already begun emerging, and this ain’t ordinary rumour. Reuters has cited from no less than four sources from within Apple’s component suppliers, and all have expressed their belief that the fruity tablet will get a refresh sometime in 2011, probably in the early quarters.

These sources stated that the new iPad will have both a back-mounted and a front-facing module, with Largan and Genius identified as having received new orders from Cupertino for churning out imagers. They also mentioned that production at places like Wintek and Simplo is expected to ramp up in the first quarter, and that parts are targeted for a February shipment in preparation for an April iPad refresh. Well, these are still rumours so we should just enjoy the bad weather first before wondering about the next iPad.

GOOGLE NEXUS S

2010-12-13T14:35:00.008+07:00

Here's Google’s Nexus S smartphone is finally getting official, with an official page as well, and it isn’t like what the previous rumours are saying. There’s no dual-core Orion processor, but the phone does have a dedicated GPU.

The Nexus S page is now live, and from there we know that this new baby of Google has a Super-AMOLED 4-inch WVGA display with 480 x 800 resolutions. Interesting Google listed “anti-fingerprint display coating” for that touch capacitive screen. The phone runs on triband HSPA with AWS support, but there’s no HSPA+ support. Spec wise, the heart is a 1GHz Cortex A8-based Hummingbird processor, which amusingly is quite the twin with the iPhone 4’s processor.

There’s 16GB of onboard storage, with 512MB of RAM, and also three-axis gyroscope. Connection wise there’s Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, besides WiFi 802.11b/g/n. There’s also the NFC chip that we mentioned earlier. The phone’s developed by Samsung. Comparison wise, the phone does have slightly more feature than the Nexus One, but doesn’t really outshine the Galaxy S, besides having embedded NFC and a contour screen.

According to the Official Google Blog, the Nexus S will be available for purchase after December 16th “online and in-store from all Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores,” either unlocked or with a T-Mobile plan. Best Buy US has listed the phone for USD$199 with a two-year T-Mobile contract or $529 unlocked. For those in UK, look for the Nexus S to hit December 20th at Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy UK.
