Women s skin care differs from that of children and men, and among women, skin care even differs at various stages of life.

A woman s appearance on the outside is generally a good indication of whats going on inside her body. Poor nutrition, unhealthy lifestyle choices and stress all contribute to the overall poor health of the skin. Bad habits such as smoking and consuming high-fat, high-salt diets deprive the body of the important nutrients skin needs.

Women have a tendency to retain water, causing skin to look and feel more bloated. To keep water retention under control, its important for women to limit the amount of salt in their diets.

Men are gaining ground but still, women are more likely to undergo skin treatment procedures. Augmentation, dermabrasion and laser treatments all will change the skin s appearance but too much will ultimately wreak havoc. Always weigh the risks versus the benefits before going under the knife.

Besides emotional ups and downs, wildly fluctuating hormones during pregnancy and menopause can cause changes in a woman s skin.

© ecostinger
www.ecostinger.com
sun protection swimwear

Skin Aging And Wrinkles - Women Sun Protection

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_TAu_XWoccMk/SLaWBc_GFUI/AAAAAAAAADA/GHrjnItsM5E/s320/women-sun-protection-swimwear.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5239540168197018946" />
Skin aging and wrinkles are a person's two worst enemies. Although there is little one can do to prevent these signs of aging, there are ways to delay their appearance.

Skin care for anti-aging and wrinkles

Keeping skin clean and moist is the best skin care regime for anti aging and wrinkles. Its better than most of the higher-priced solutions that promise to end wrinkling. Wash with warm water and gentle cleaner and pat skin dry so some moisture remains. Hot water and harsh soaps deplete skin of essential oils and increase dryness. Also avoid products with dyes or perfumes which may further irritate skin. Gently remove eye makeup as the skin surrounding the eyes is very delicate and prone to wrinkling. And there you have it; simple, inexpensive skin care for anti-aging and wrinkles.

Aging is an unstoppable process and unfortunately, so are wrinkles. So protect your skin by living a healthy lifestyle. protect your skin from the sun's UV radiation. Eat right, exercise, don't smoke and avoid excess alcohol consumption.

© ecostinger
www.ecostinger.com
sun protection swimwear

Tips for Providing Maximum Sun Protection

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_TAu_XWoccMk/SLaQU6CP80I/AAAAAAAAAC4/ZO5HenzYDSE/s320/sun-protection-sunsuit-children.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5239533905342624578" />
When applied according to the product instructions, sunscreens provide maximum protection from the sun damaging ultraviolet rays. Always be sure to choose a SPF (sun protection factor) that offers the maximum protection for your skin type. But remember that no product will work if you fail to apply it every time you go outside. For around the clock skin protection, UPF sun protection clothing could be the answer. The maximum rating which blocks over 97.5% of the sun UV radiation is UPF50+; make sure you get a certification tag with your sun protection clothing item.

The sun can reflect off many different surfaces including sand, snow and cement and UV rays are present even on cloudy days. With these facts in mind, the best way to provide maximum sun protection is to develop a habit of applying your sun protection sunscreen products whenever you go outside, reapplying them as often as necessary, ad wear sun protection clothing with UPF50+ UV rating.

© ecostinger
www.ecostinger.com
sun protection swimwear

Baby And Kids Skin Protection

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_TAu_XWoccMk/SLHJHY46oyI/AAAAAAAAACw/09cZh5hiKJc/s320/C20-M.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238188970386039586" />
Baby skin care is more about avoiding diaper rash than preventing acne, but regardless, it's an important topic. Proper baby skin care can mean the difference between a happy baby and one that's constantly complaining.

General guidelines and tips on baby skin care and protection

Start life off right by protecting your baby from ultraviolet radiation exposure. Keep infants out of direct sunlight during the first few months. If you do go outside, be sure to cover the baby's skin with certified sun protection clothing (UPF50+ sun clothing is the highest sun protection you can get), a sun hat and baby sunglasses. Turn that into a habit and teach your child the importance of doing so as he or she grows older. Sunscreen products shouldn't be applied until the baby is 6 months old, but after that, they're absolutely necessary. Take care when riding in cars and when out for a stroll.

©ecostinger
www.ecostinger.com
sun protection swimwear

How Safe Are You In Your Regular Clothing!

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_TAu_XWoccMk/SLHIGh_SGUI/AAAAAAAAACo/-fzPo9aWSwI/s320/A103-S-M.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238187856137165122" />
You may feel that wearing normal clothing can protect you from the sun UV radiation; but this is not true. Not all sunscreens provide the same sun protection - sunscreen UV protection is measured in SPF: Sun Protection Factor, and not all sunglasses provide the same eye protection - eye UV protection is measured in EPF: Eye Protection Factor; the same applies to clothing which is measured in UPF: Ultraviolet Protection Factor. Therefore, it is very important to make sure the type of sun protection clothing or UV swimwear you use on the beach have been tested and certified to offer the highest UPF rating of UPF50+, blocks over 97.5% of the sun UV radiation.

©ecostinger
www.ecostinger.com
sun protection swimwear

Do You Have The Right UV Protection Gear For Summer?

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_TAu_XWoccMk/SK-uHSTW-oI/AAAAAAAAABA/9pPfbupv8LU/s320/A102-ML.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237596331850529410" />
Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer in USA. According to the National Cancer Institute About one million Americans develop skin cancer each year.
The sun UV radiation provide all the necessary elements to damage your skin and eventually cause skin cancer.

The best way to prevent skin cancer caused by UV radiation is to protect yourself from the sun. Also, it is very important to protect children, since research has found that most sun damage happens from an early age.

It is best to wear sun protective clothing when exposed to the sun, and specially when swimming, and use sunscreen on exposed skin whenever you can.
Also, you should be aware of UV radiation which can be reflected by sand, water, snow, and ice. UV radiation can go through light clothing, windshields, windows, and clouds. Wear long sleeves and long pants, a hat with a wide brim, and sunglasses that absorb UV.
Use sunscreen lotions (at least SPF15) where possible.

The most common place where you can be over-exposed to the sun UV radiation is on the beach, therefore a special type of sun clothing is required which can give you the right skin protection and the freedom you expect to feel when spending your day swimming, sailing, surfing or simply walking on the sands.

©ecostinger
www.ecostinger.com
sun protection swimwear

Sunscreen Isn t Enough - Protect Skin With Sun Protection Clothing

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_TAu_XWoccMk/SK21NtAQxLI/AAAAAAAAAAs/LZ1k0K8rvUw/s320/A101-MB-F.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237041188725376178" />
Every year, millions of people head outdoors as soon as the weather warms up. Sports, family gatherings and even work can take us outside and into the potentially harmful rays of the sun. If we don t keep ourselves protected from the sun, we may end up with skin damage, eye damage and even harmful skin cancer.

Sunscreen is a great tool to help prevent sun damage, but it is not enough on its own. When you spend any amount of time in the sun, it is essential to wear protective clothing and sunscreen to minimize the effects of the sun s ultraviolet rays. While most of us are familiar with sunscreens and how to choose the right sunscreen for different types of skin, not many of us know how to pick out UV protective clothing.

Choosing the Right Sun Protection Clothing

The first thing to keep in mind when picking out sun protection clothing is how its effectiveness is measured. Sunscreen is measured by sun protection factor. This number measures the amount of time that it will take for exposed skin to get red. Eye protection factor is the rating that establishes the amount of eye protection provided from eyewear. Sun protection clothing, however, is measured in ultraviolet protection factor. This number measures how much ultraviolet radiation can penetrate the fabric and reach the skin. This rating is based on the weight of the material, the tightness of the weave and how much skin the clothing protects.

Some fabrics have a naturally high ultraviolet protection factor, while others are treated with special chemicals to increase the amount of sun protection they offer. Because of this, some sun protection clothing can lose its effectiveness over time. Replacing your sun protection clothing often ensures that it is effectively blocking harmful rays.

The higher the ultraviolet protection factor number, the more protection you will get from that garment. An ultraviolet protection factor of 10 provides significantly less protection than a garment with a factor of 50. When purchasing sun protection clothing, look for the highest ultraviolet protection factor available. Also try to purchase only sun protection clothing that is certified by the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency. The ARPNSA is the world leader in ultraviolet protection testing.

©ecostinger
www.ecostinger.com
sun protection swimwear

Sun Protection Messages and Children Safety

The sun uv radiation is damaging to your skin and that of your loved ones! Over exposure to ultraviolet radiation can cause short term health effects such as sunburn, wrinkles and sun spots; and long term exposure to ultraviolet radiation can increase the risk of damage to the skin which may cause skin cancer and eventually Melanoma, as well as damage to the eyes which may result in cataracts. The risk for Children is even greater at young age.

This message has been repeated by government and private health organizations in the hope it will raise awareness amongst parents and personnel responsible for children during their outdoor activities. Below are some important sun protection messages, which we hope will be useful and aid you in providing adequate UV protection for your kids. Please take your time reading and sharing with your community, your family members and friends;

Children below age 15 have sensitive skin and eyes, therefore extended sun exposure increases the risk of skin cancer later in life and can cause serious damage to the eye and the skin. Encourage your children to use sun protection swim wear if on the beach; UV protective clothing and sun hat when outdoor; and importantly to take a break in the shade when possible, especially during middays, the result will be healthier and younger looking skin throughout their lives.

©ecostinger www.ecostinger.com
sun protection swimwear
