In a time where all you hear is web this and online that, it’s important to remember that print is still a valuable medium to focus your advertising efforts. While a good web presence backed up by focused social media is a great start to guiding potential customers your way, sometimes a finely crafted print ad running in a targeted publication can go a long way as well.

Just be nice.

We all learned as kids to be nice - to share, say we're sorry, and so on. In our finest moments as adults we all probably do a pretty good job of exemplifying this behavior. But what about when you're stressed? Up against a deadline? Frustrated at the progress (or lack thereof) on a task that you've delegated to a co-worker or vendor? Are you nice to people when you're at the breaking point?

Some of the best ideas come to us in unexpected places. Consider Doc Brown. Yes, that Doc Brown from Back to the Future :-) He invented the Flux Capacitor after hitting his head on the toilet. But if Doc had just filed that idea away, or told himself it wasn't possible, we never would have seen Marty McFly travel through time in a DeLorean.
