Gwyneth Paltrow has branded her Iron Man co-star Robert Downey Junior a "wimp" - after she donned the superhero suit for their latest film.

The actress, who stars as Pepper Potts with Downey in Iron Man 3, says the new film was her chance to "kick ass".

Appearing on tomorrow night's Graham Norton Show, she reveals: "I get to do a bit of action and I get to wear the Iron Man suit for a while - it's very cool.

"It's quite cumbersome but not so bad. I thought it was going to be terrible because in the first two movies Robert would put on the suit and start sweating, he'd have a nervous breakdown and would meditate and cry. He was in hell.

"So, I was like, 'Wow, I'd better start mentally preparing myself for the suit,' and I put it on and was like, 'This guy is a wimp, it's really not that bad."'

The actress tells the chat show host that her son Moses is "a big fan" of the films.

"I'll never forget his face when he saw me walk out in the suit," she reveals. "It was a really good moment."

This week's show, which also includes Olympic runner Mo Farah and comic Lee Mack, is on BBC One at 10.35pm tomorrow.

Cinema goers are being well served for British crime fighters this year as two of filmdom's biggest franchises offer up their third (and in one case apparently final) acts.

Both of them feature men whose outer sophistication and nonchalance masks a troubled soul and disturbing aptitude for violence.

It's the question that has got Marvel Comics fans guessing.

Just who is the mystery man in the 'secret' end-credits scene that pops up after The Amazing Spider-Man movie has finished?

The scene begins with the captured Dr Curt Connors being locked away in a prison cell.

Lightning strikes, and suddenly, there's another man in the shadows of the prison cell.

"Hello, Doctor!" rasps the man. "Did you tell the boy?"

"Tell him what?" asks Connors.

"Did you tell the boy the truth about his father?"

The man steps into the light just a little bit. We can see that he has long hair, and is holding a hat - looks like a fedora - in his hands.

"No."

"Well, that's very good. So we'll let him be for now."

The man walks away as Dr. Connors screams: "You should leave him alone!"

But the man has simply disappeared.

Rhys Ifans, who plays The Lizard, says: "Connors is sent to an asylum, a high-security asylum, and he's visited by, shall we say, a representative from OsCorp.

"How he gets into that cell and how he leaves that cell without the guards knowing? We have yet to find out."

So just what was it that android David said to the drowsy Engineer that caused chaos?

It's the question we all want answered after puzzling over the pivotal Prometheus moment.

And the news is that only two people know for sure - director Ridley Scott and screenwriter Damon Lindelof.

Apparently Lost legend Lindelof wanted to use subtitles so we could understand what went down.

But Scott, with an eye on the sequel no doubt, refused - leaving us all wondering what went wrong.

"David's dialogue with the Engineer has an English translation," admits Lindelof. "But Ridley felt very strongly about not subtitling it."

So we'll have to wait until the second instalment or, at the very least, the DVD commentary.

We saw Prometheus at Birmingham's Giant Screen Cinema, which lives up to its name as the biggest screen in the city, and offers a digital picture sharper than its IMAX predecessor.

The planet Prometheus landed on looked sensational on the big screen, and the thunder of the ship's engines made the seats shudder.

Our overall verdict: good rather than great.

Prometheus lacks the tension of Alien or the gung-ho action of Aliens, preferring to build the series mythology.

Michael Fassbender steals every scene as subtly sinister David but Noomi Rapace's Dr Elizabeth Shaw (named after the third Doctor Who's companion) is no Sigourney Weaver.

We loved the attention to detail and the references to the Alien universe, particularly Scott's tantalising teases (admit it, you expected Shaw to get into one of the spacesuits).

And, although we won't spoil the ending, we reckon they should have cut to black at the first sign of trouble - and left the rest to our imagination. Would have been far scarier!

The 58-year-old actor said he felt "really, really tired" after decades of punishing stunts and fight scenes.

Speaking at the launch of his new movie Chinese Zodiac ahead of the Cannes Film Festival, Chan said this would be the last time audiences see him in a leading action role.

"This is my last action film," he said. "I tell you, I'm not young any more. I'm really, really tired.

"And the world is too violent right now. It's a dilemma - I like action but I don't like violence."

Chan started his career as a stuntman in Bruce Lee classics including Enter the Dragon.

The W.E. actress and former Bond Girl Olga Kurylenko have both joined the cast of the

Hollywood heavyweight's upcoming sci-fi film, which hasn't yet been named, reports Variety.

In the film, Earth has become a wasteland and the human race is living above it in the clouds. Mission Impossible star Cruise will play a veteran soldier, stationed on the planet, who repairs drones that fight off alien life.

Quantum Of Solace actress Kurylenko, 32, will play the soldier's partner and Riseborough, 30, will star as a new love interest.

The 14-year-old US actress was selected by the acclaimed director to appear in the film after she hoodwinked him during her New York audition.

She said: "I completely fooled him into thinking I was a British actress and then at the end of the audition I went back into my American accent.

"He said 'hold on are you American? I was like 'I am American,' so I tricked Martin Scorsese."
