You know how some people call themselves "crazy quilters" well....WE ARE!! Jamie and I drove yesterday to her home in Missouri and could now be considered storm chasers! We drove from Houston, TX through east Texas, Arkansas and southeast Missouri....yeah if you haven't been watching the weather....it was horrible!! Tornados ALL around us! God was definitely with us on our journey and we made it to her house safely and at 4 in the morning! The normal 11 hour drive turned into a stormy 15 hour drive UGH!! We checked the Paducah Quilt Show website and even though it's really wet there....the show will go on! We are leaving in the morning for Paducah and can't wait!! We will be sure to take lots of photos to share with ya'll! Have a great week!

Mystery Quilt and Ms. Tula Pink!

We just started our first month of our new Mystery Quilt BOM and let me just tell you; it's awesome!!! We are so excited about this BOM, the quilt is gorgeous, trust us! That's all we can say without giving the quilt away! You will use the fabric of your choice! The meetings will be the 4th Saturday (1/22/2011) from 2 - 3 pm OR the 4th Tuesday (1/25/2011) from 11:30am - 12:30pm every month At the meetings we will go over the month's clue construction in detail with lots of tricks and tips! If you can't make the meetings, no problem you can still participate, we will have the clues for you to pick up or email. We can even snail mail them for an additional fee! The cost is $15 per month and as always with our BOM's if you pay in full you get 1 month FREE! We did our Mystery Quilt in some of Tula Pink's new Parisville line and it turned out so beautiful! Although we can't show you a photo yet....we did send a photo to Ms. Tula herself and here is what she had to say about it...
