All of our pre-cut Shasta Firs that are 10 ft. to 16ft. are only $10. Call our Farm to make a special visit and you can get a tall tree for $10. Why are they $10? We cut them and if they are not taken they will head to the burn pile so if you want a tall tree, give us a call to make arrangements to pick it up.

Another great weekend of Christmas Tree adventures up on the Sunny Day Tree Farm these past few days. The weather held out and everyone had a great time hunting for their Christmas Tree. Call us to make sure we’re open during the week and if the gate is open we’re “open for business”.

It’s Saturday, Dec. 12th and we’re open! Looks like this morning it’s going to be clear and cold, but no stormy conditions until the afternoon hours. This morning may be a better time to get out and come visit us at the Sunny Day Tree Farm (regardless of the threat of a storm) where it’s always, a Sunny Day!

All of our over 6 foot pre-cut trees are gone for the year. We have 6 foot and under in our fields so if you’re looking for a Christmas Tree that is over 6 feet, please know that we are “out” for the year and that one of our neighboring Tree Farms can help you find a tree over 6 feet. Next year we will have an over abundance of Christmas Trees in that 7 to 8 foot range, but not this year.

Santa is here, today, Sunday, December 6th from 10am to 3pm. This is your last chance to visit with Santa as he has to get back to the North Pole and supervise the making of toys and gifts for the children of the world. If you want to visit with Santa and get your picture taken with Santa (no charge), today is the last day!

Come prepared for the conditions! Looks like it is going to be cold, windy and a little muddy on the walking paths. Be sure to bring the right clothes, jackets, gloves, hats and good shoes/boots that can get muddy for the adventure. If you don’t want to venture out, we have pre-cut trees located at the Christmas Barn. All the pre-cut trees were cut last night and this morning so they are guaranteed to be fresh!

I sprung out of bed early this morning to the phone ringing and as I made my way to the phone I realized it was very, very early. As the full moon lit the early morning I answered the phone with a start and all I heard on the phone was some strange “clicking”. I glanced at the caller I.D. and it said, “North Pole”. I then realized that it was Rudolph (the famous red nosed raindeer) calling and I immediately switched our phone over to the raindeer translator receiver. I could then talk to Rudolph (who obviously has no concept of time) about Santa’s upcoming visit this weekend.

Rudolph explained that he, Dasher and Blitzen were making the three raindeer trip from the North Pole to the Sunny Day Tree Farm and were personally delivering Santa to the Farm. He went on to tell me that he only required his strongest two other raindeer because they were just bringing Santa and did not have to pull the entire Christmas sleigh with Santa and all the presents for all the children. His last question was about the “fog factor” at the Sunny Day Tree Farm. He explained that if its foggy, he has to get extra sleep so his nose is at “full bright mode” to safely deliver Santa. If its not foggy, he can stay up late, help the elves prepare gifts and deliver Santa on “dim mode”.

Rudolph was very nice and full of Christmas cheer, but I could tell he was very busy and focused on Christmas eve, he closed by saying, “Uncle Jon, you and Aunt Su look to the North early Saturday morning, when you see the red light in the sky know that it’s me, Dasher & Blitzen arriving with Santa and if you could, please keep your wood stove at “low heat”, Santa still likes to make an entrance and arrive through the chimney.” I assured Rudolph that we’ll be prepared and to expect a “raindeer treat” for the journey back to the North Pole.
