I had a call from the Sunshine Quilters a few weeks ago to say
that they had read in our newsletter that Katie Rose Cottage was
in need of some toiletries and towels. Along with this on the
wish list was the request for CD players for each of our guest’s
 room.

What a surprise I got when I went along to have morning tea with
the quilting group only to find that they had a table of
 “goodies” for Katie Rose Cottage.

This is what they donated along with a very large box of fruit.
Included in the gift were two CD players.

Our sincere thanks to the Sunshine Quilters for their thoughts
 and continued support.

institution on the Sunshine Coast. Four months ago my partner Vicki
Miller was diagnosed with advanced bone cancer and after four
