1. For me, it was hilariously funny .

2. I always buy fresh fruits at my local supermarket.

3. Behind the sound of the wind in the trees, I heard the chirping of the birds too.

4. Aside from swimming, travelling is something I always wanted to do.

5. When it was over, I cried a river then pulled myself together and started the dragging process of moving on.

6. I had tried living in solitude but I never felt alone.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to have a great time with friends, tomorrow my plans include talking to the love of my life and Sunday, I want to go to church and afterwards will pig out to my friend's birthday bash!

It's shoot me time :) and today I'm showing off a picture of me with my boyfriend together with this scary but friendly (when full ;) ) creature name 'PRONY' she is known to be the world's largest python in captivity. It was captured in Bohol, Philippines on Oct.21,'96 which measured 5 feet and weighed 5 kilos. As of 2005, it grew as heavy as 200 kilos with a body measurement of 30 inches and 23 feet long. Can you imagine how big it must be this days? The care taker told us that Prony is being fed with a pig monthly so we must help in giving donations which we happily did since it's not everyday that we got the chance to see and even touch a python. :)

these are few of the wonderful creatures i saw underwater..the turtle amazed me esp.coz I've seen how fast he is in water which is amazing as he is very slow in land..guess i don't know that much about turtles :-D

This adorable young man is my favorite nephew (so far) ;) I hope u noticed that he's wearing both his first Hongkong t-shirts :) Since he also became instantly my boyfriend's paborito this little rascal here :D ended up with so many pasalubong when we went to Hongkong. He seemed to like the t-shirts the most coz he would point out to his nanny (that's because he still can't talk) what he's going to wear and his choices would either be the yellow or blue shirt.

I'm feeling nostalgic today. I guess it has something to do with the weather. It had been raining cats and dogs for hours now. I hope this would stop because

I really want to go to the beach after I'll attend the Sunday mass. Yes, I've been longing to go to a specific beach today. It's called the COCO GROVE BEACH RESORT..My bf and I never fail to visit the place when he's in the Philippines for vacation. The place is very dear to us because it is where we decided to take our friendship to the next level :) The said beach resort is located in Siquijor which is known to be a mystique island.Who knows if baby had bewitched me in there ;) It's nearly 3 years and I still am in love with the place and the guy of course :)

This picture was taken during our special day. I wish to share more pictures but I'm keeping the others exclusively for baby and me..I'm not being selfish just sentimental?..lol!

It was Sunday morning and the sun slipped from the horizon to float freely in the sky. Only one old, diesel smelling, slow, passenger boat that crosses to another city in Mindanao was moored on the pier. The other boat that shuttles between the city and another smaller nearby island had left earlier. Only the two cranes with its gantries raised to the sky working on the pier expansion made the pier busy.

Down beside the aft of the old boat was a Badjao couple in their canoe and their daughter less than three years in estimate but too little for her age, was inaudibly sobbing from hunger. Hunger is enough reason to cry but she was too weak for the effort to really cry. They were displaced by greed fishing into a civilization they can neither associate or assimilate -- except by this trade.

The wife grabbed the baby to coddle her in her arms resting its buttocks on her lap then put her left nipple on the baby's mouth to pacify her not really to feed her. The baby was naked and her genital wrinkling from inadequate nutrition was a tolerable sight because she was a baby. The romblon hat that the mother wore shadowed the baby's face from the glare of the morning sun as the youngster suckled the unhealthy, milkless breast.

Coins were thrown to the water for her husband to dive. Each time the coins were long in coming, she asked the passengers to throw some more using the Badjao language the passengers do not understand but nevertheless knew she is asking for money. She never raised her hands with an open palm the way beggars do. She extends her hand as though she is reaching another hand for a handshake like she doesn't consider this trade begging. Her husband provides a diving show to the boat passengers by allowing a few seconds before he follows the sinking coin underwater.

The family knew there was not enough time anymore for the day's business. The boat leaves in a few minutes and the next ship from a Malaysian city arrives at dusk and so coin diving is impossible.

The boat sounded its giant horn twice to signal departure and the funnel sent black smoke in the air to get ready. The couple knew what it meant so the wife added a little amount of loudness to her voice now.

"Sige na" she shouted in their language.

The mooring ropes were removed from the bollards and were dropped to the water and almost instantly the ship carried by the current drifted a few inches from the log fenders. The winches hummed as it rolled to gather the ropes into the giant spool. The engine rumbled and the water ruffled with the heavy movement. The couple followed the boat while the wife called for more coins. From crystal clear the water turned deep blue-green and the dune-like bottom sand and some debris and some garbages of the city began to get obscured. Some passengers remained leaning on the rails watching the couple waiting for some diving exhibition. One passenger who was lying on his cot unpleased by the entertainment stood up and approached the rails.

"Why these people don't find work," he said to himself as he walked to the rails.

He dipped his hand in his jeans pocket and the wife saw it. She directed her hand to where the man stood.

"Sige na! sige na!" she called. Her voice carries the tone of begging now.

When the man got his hand out from his pocket, his palm had three pieces of yellow coins. The husband's face had the willingness to give the man entertainment if entertainment was what the man was looking for

in exchange for this last minute generosity. He grabbed his daughter from his wife and put her on his back and the baby dutifully clung to his father's neck as though she knew this is her exclusive role and an early practice in the trade. The passenger threw one of the coins and father and daughter instantly leaped into the water. They landed a few meters away from where the coin rippled. Some few seconds later, two gleaming heads bleached brown by iodine and sunshine were back on the surface. Father shook head thrice in quick succession to free his eyes from the stinging saltwater that drips on his forehead; daughter wiped face with one hand for the same purpose while her other hand remained clinging to her father's neck. They swam towards the canoe as the wife rowed towards them to meet them. His finger and thumb touched his mouth where the coin was clipped between his teeth and then extended his hand to the side of the hull to drop the coin there.

A few seconds after father and daughter climbed back to the canoe, the second coin was thrown. It was torture. Oxygen had just gathered back into their lungs. He put his hand on his forehead like a visor and lowered his face almost touching the water to locate the coin. The child on his back was a censored thing now. Her legs parted as her toes dug the side of her father's stomach to avoid somersaulting ahead into the water. The watching passengers were divided between laughter and pity. Once the sinking coin sent a whirling gleam to the eyes of the coin diver, they slipped into the water.

Up in the big boat the passengers were held in suspense, but not the wife. She knows her worry can't do any help; she knows the diving skills of their men even before greed fishing destroyed with dynamites their fishing grounds as they steal their fishes.

The coin whirled too far. It was sinking in a zigzag motion in obedience to buoyancy and defiance to gravity. Two times the coin slipped his palm. The bottom sand was just a few kicks below before he finally caught the coin in his palm.

Father and daughter resurfaced nearly half a minute later and far from where everybody's eyes expected them to emerge. Once more the wife rowed towards them to meet them.

Slowly, the old boat turned south to set her on course. Once the prow found its destination in the horizon, the tail boiled. The last of the three coins was still in the fist of the passenger. He threw it but a bit too close to the bubbles of the propeller. The husband handed the baby to his wife and for a few moments thought of diving for it. He changed his mind. Instead, he dangled his right foot on the water to help his wife counteract with the paddle the current created by the vessel. He wished he could do something but he could only give the man a blaming look. The coin means so much to them. His eyes uselessly locked on the man's face.

But the boat sped up now and the distance it gained had freed the passenger from the eyes of the coin diver.

1. In the near darkness, comes my creepy thoughts.

2. The letter from my friend instructed me that I could continue staying in her place til further notice.

3. But this is so far the best conversation we have,so please, would you mind staying a bit longer?

4. It was Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton who sang the song but it was the Bee Gees who wrote Islands in the stream.

5. It's always nice to reminisce the past especially when you have a bunch of wonderful memories that comes with it.

6. The things that i look forward to when I'm with friends are great food, wonderful music, and pleasant company.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to sleep early since our suppose night out was cancelled, tomorrow my plans include meeting up with friends to make up for tonight's disappointment and Sunday, I want to go to the beach alone after attending mass.

i was busy orienting myself into blogging with the help of my dear friend chie wilks of chuchieshideaway ( thanks a bunch gwapa nga amiga..mwah! ) when suddenly my phone beeped..i got a message from one of my closest friends asking me to go out with her, together with our other friends.i was hesitant at first coz i am starting to really like blogging especially now that chie told me that i could finally start earning ;) i am very elated coz even if we aren't talking about big bucks here at least, i will be earning AGAIN :) i was thinking of saying 'no' to my friend but somehow the memory of our last hang out stopped me.it was so much fun that i could really say that we partied like a rockstar.hehehe..i'm looking forward for another fun night that's why i'm out in here for now ;)

hola everyone :)
this is my first time to join this meme and I apologize in advance for my entry if others find this too daring. I chose this especially coz I feel good about myself lately. I had put on some weight according to my close friends and this really mean a lot to me since most of them used to tell me that I was pretty skinny..other people try so hard to shake that excess fat off while I eat my heart out just to gain weight..mind you,it's excessive eating and it is frustrating as dieting without seeing any result..the irony of life!anyway,this picture was taken last week during our family outing by my baby sis :)

Let me share this article I read from Mr. Francis Kong's web page. I was so touched with the answers that i really cried when I've read them..I had learned from someone that if something you consider worth sharing, you won't hesitate doing it so here it goes co bloggers..I hope you'll have a good read as i surely had :)

What does Love Mean?
A group of professionals posed the question "What does love mean?" To a group of 4 - 8 year-olds and the answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. Think about their remarks:

1. "When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love.”

2. "Love is when someone hurts you and you get so mad but you don't yell at them because you know it would hurt their feelings."

3. "Love is what makes you smile when you're tired."

4. "Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My Mommy and daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss."

So what is love then? it's this simple:
Love is when you wish the best, do the best and offer to serve your best for the object of your love without any trace of intention to consume.

ex:
You don’t use the word “love” if your sole intention is to consume.
You cannot actually say, “I love my chocolate cake” because you do not desire the best for your cake, you actually want to eat it. And so love here is your desire to consume for your own pleasure and delight.

Hi and welcome to Wednesday Wickedness! We are like other memes in that we will ask you ten questions each and every Wednesday. But our little "twist" is that each week we will pick a famous person and pick ten of their quotes. Each of our questions will be based on the quotes. Got it? Great! Let's begin this week's meme!

Today we picked Ronald Reagan. Here's Wednesday Wickedness!

1. A tree's a tree. How many more do you need to look at?
Are you concerned about mankind's intrusion into forests and jungles?
-absolutely yes! i know it's inevitable with the rapid increase of population and all but i hope everyone must have the so called responsibility so as not to entirely jeopardize the above mentioned

What is the biggest change that you've seen in your lifetime with the U.S?
-please forgive me but I'm more into Europe than the U.S ;)

3. All the waste in a year from a nuclear power plant can be stored under a desk.
Do you feel nuclear power is still the fuel of our future?
-it's very scary to think that it could solely be...sometimes,it's nice to imagine that our world in the future wouldn't be as dangerous as it is today

-I didn't suck since I was an honor student

-sad news makes my day gloomy so as long as I could avoid it, I would really..all I know is Egypt is in turmoil and I hope that it isn't an all hell break loose scenario

-not at all but my love ones would definitely be

-since I am entitled to my own opinion, I would say that politicians have a different role in the society and so are the religious leaders so hopefully they do their part exceedingly well.

Lucky I’m in love with my best friend and lucky is my best friend whom my little angel is very much captivated with.
Normally, my one and only nephew (so far) is very jealous of the people who get attach to his immediate family members. Many incidents had proved how ‘jelly’ he is to other kids whom we are fond of cuddling. He will surely do stuffs just to catch everyone’s attention and bingo! we ended up swarming over him. Such an attention seeker! :D
I am one hell of a guilty aunt for spoiling this little man but what can I do? He’s an ultimate charmer and I love him hook, line and sinker. Honestly, I admit that he’s a bit bratty but my boyfriend thinks otherwise. Maybe it is because my nephew had charmed him as well ;-)
For an eleventh month baby I’m amazed how he managed to get everything he wanted. Reminiscing, I’m still elated until now every time I think of their first meeting. My boyfriend and I spent our vacation for almost a month and I’m quite nervous that baby jao won’t go near baby thom because the latter and myself is very clingy to each other :D Witnessing how jealous baby jao is, I’m having butterfly on my tummy while the fast craft is approaching the harbor because my sister’s family is going to meet us up including the little man of course : )
Who would have thought that baby jao could be so warm with my boyfriend when baby thom is holding my hand while we are going near them? My nephew literally ignored me while he was busy reaching out to my bf…Ggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrr! now, who’s the jellyfish here? :D
It warmed me knowing that the two hit it off right away seeing how happy they are together from the beginning and all throughout my boyfriend’s stay in our place. It had been a good start and I’m having my fingers crossed that in the future the two would still be as amiable to one another as they are this days : )

Singapore trip

I have been dreaming since I was a kid to travel to various places and to be able to experience different cultures and see countless scenery a certain place could offer.

Slowly, that childhood dream has been materialized when I finally took a flight wherein amazing Singapore would be my first out of the country destination : )

Singapore became my first choice because it was like a ‘two bird in a stone’ thingy since the itinerary proved to be pleasurable apart from being educational. It was a 5 day trip and every penny I spent was all worth it.

I don’t plan to do tourism for the said country because many sites could very well do the honor ;-) what I’m planning to do instead is to show off my narcissistic poses since I truly was overwhelmed of the experience. So please bear with me :D

I surely had a blast! And for that, I’ll let my pictures do the talking ;-)

When was the last time that you wanted to do something, but it was all done before you got there?

this question hit a nerve because most of the time i'm very fond of the so called 'maÑana habit' ;-)
i would say that for today,it's fixing up my room.my sister did it when i had breakfast

2. As good as I am, I'm nothing without my band.
Do you feel there is anyone you could not do without?

my family-they simply mean the universe to me

3. Back then it was nothing like today. So you'd go to the bowling alley. We bowled and you could be in the back and you could make out, you know? And you know how hot it was to make out.
When you were young and innocent, what place did you make out?
hush!hush!papa will preach.ha!ha!ha!

4. Drugs will get you out of your own way, but we lived it, and that's dangerous. It can actually turn around on itself and steal your soul, and that's what happened.
Were you ever tempted by something that could “steal your soul”?
so far,i'm on the right track and i'll try my hardest to stay this way..so temptation,stay away ;-)

5. Every life has a measure of sorrow, and sometimes this is what awakens us.
How do you deal with sorrow?
I usually spend time with my own preferably on the beach crying my heart out but when the pain seems unbearable,I pour out my emotion to my trusted friends.

Did you ever have dreams of making it in showbiz in some capacity?
to be honest,never!because bluntly said i'm a plain Jane. I always have the idea that celebrities should have dashing looks

LOVE-i'm always in love with the idea of falling in love.ha!ha!ha!

8. I don't mind being a grandfather.
If you are a grandparent, do you at first “mind it”? If you aren't, how do you think that you would feel about it?

I do mind it because at the moment I can't even embrace the idea of being a parent..how much more of being a grandparent so spare me.hehehe

9. I grew up in New Hampshire. My closest neighbor was a mile away. The deer and the raccoons were my friends. So I would spend time walking through the woods, looking for the most beautiful tropical thing that can survive the winter in the woods in New Hampshire.

10. I have to get inspired by something that touches my soul, or rocks my soul.
What rocks your soul?

It would be MUSIC-it rocks,heals and inspires my soul :)
