Coupon Extremes

A question to all the couponers of the internets?
I am in the mist of researching extreme and regular couponing and would like some feedback. Is there a need for a better couponing system? Think casual users and extreme. Most of what I have seen is a binder with some baseball card holder pages to hold your coupons.

It seems to me this is a very inefficient use of time and energy and not a good product that is usable in the long run...

Dude do not buy a moleskine book expecting the same quality you got two years ago.

Because they are worse!

They are now totally made in China so the people in Italy don't even touch them anymore.

But wait there's more!

Even the cover that was their signature thing is now processed and made in China so it's a poor plastic representation of what used to be an awesome book covering.

Also you may notice their are more competition to the moleskine line well that's because they are all made in China now...

So pick your design books carefully designers, although their pretty much all the same now anyway.

This is a great new product for any designer or sketcher.
The thing that is interesting to me is to find products that I tried to get my company to make and they tell me no or that's not a good fit. And then I see them on the market months or years later....

iArmy - THE Podcomic

My latest insert in the fray of podcasting has arrived today in the form of a comic. But not an ordinary comic. It's a webcomic in a podcast, I call it a PODCOMIC. In the podcast iArmy I have created characters that I voice and I enjoy them, and thought they would translate well over into print or video. Enjoying to do comics and such I created these on post-its and put them in a book then scanned them in for enjoyment. I will be posting one a week and have a better explination of these in my latest DESIGN-Episode#29 (to air on Friday).

PS3 Slim is too hot for teacher

My nephew informed me yesterday that his friend bought a PS3 Slim last week. So I said thats cool does he like it.
He said no it overheated and stopped working.
I was like dizam buddy what happened.
He said that it does not have a fan and when it gets too hot the thermometer tells the system to shut down. And the system did not shut down. His friend tried to return it to both the store and Sony both telling him that they will not take it back because it has water damage.
Editorial:
WTF! Why would Sony cheap out and replace a fan with a thermometer? Because I have an orginal PS3 and that mother gets hotter than a eskimo in Florida on Spring Break. And then for the store and Sony both to say that oops it has water damage so we can't return it. That's so BS I mean did they think that the kid was playing with it in the tub durring bath time or something, it was only a week old.
Is anyone else having this problem... Someone better get to the bottom of this.

UPDATE: I was corrected there is a tiny fan (oh well). They should have consulted Tim the Toolman Taylor on this.

Method 1

Email us any type of audio file or suggestions to capp.iarmy@gmail.com

file type does not matter we flatten it with 1000 iArmy iPhone soldiers into a ringtone.

Method 2

call us and leave a voice mail of what you would like your submission to be

1-206-203-2363 (not toll free)

Method 3

Email us a link to a site with audio or video that we can use.

Once we receive your submission if we use it you will receive a special iArmy image you can use anywhere to denote yourself as an iArmy general.

My Office - The Cubicle Porch

Andy and I recently had a show where we kind of (very shortly) discussed what it is like in our office.

Well whenever someone goes on extended vacation we tend to give them a little something to come back to. Our lead designer comes back from vacation on Monday and we thought it would be funny to make a front porch for her cube.

So we did a cube renovation and made a porch for her cube.

The idea came from a box top turned into a awening. The photos don't do the awening justice but it's funny none the less.

The google OS - FINALLY

It seems that Google really was making an OS all this time they said they weren't (but we all knew they really were). This will be a great asset in the OS wars and maybe get all the companies off their butts and get them thinking more user friendly (instead of money for them friendly).
