There’s fresh gossip about Taylor Swift being cast as Supergirl! One site, Hollyscoop, is reporting that the adorable country music star is in consideration for the role of Kara from Krypton!

Taylor Swift is already a super girl in her own right, but she may be playing the role of the comic book hero in the near future! Sources say the singing sensation is up for the lead role in Supergirl! The Love Story.

Hollywood producers are reportedly very interested in Taylor playing the Girl of Steel for the remake of the 1984 movie, which was actually a big flop at the box office.

She certainly looks the part!

In the Charmed episode “Battle of the Hexes”, Billie puts on the Golden Belt of Gaea and develops serious super powers.

I love stuff like this! And really, who doesn’t love a good superheroine transformation? It’s like Lynda Carter spinning around to change from Diana Prince to Wonder Woman.

In this episode, Phoebe and Monica both attend a Halloween costume party dressed as DC Comics characters. Monica is Catwoman and Phoebe is Supergirl. (There’s a cute standoff between them at one point.)

Visually I really like the “new” Batwoman and of course there’s no beating an Adam Hughes cover. It’s very striking.
