Imagine…you get up from you desk, walk down the hall, do your SuperSlow® workout with a Certified SuperSlow® Instructor and then return to your desk….and, you strength trained in your work clothes.

The entire roundtrip, from and back to your desk and working out, took 25 to 30 minutes. You do this twice a week.

You feel great! You have more energy and stamina. Your clothes are fitting better….and, as an added benefit, you have a feeling of relief and appreciation that you ARE (finally!) getting your workout done consistently.

You are not just exercising; you are achieving and sustaining results!

Getting your exercise done at work…what a relief…and pleasure!

You feel so good that you decided to try the SuperSlow Zone’s® healthy eating program called Transitions Lifestyle System™ because changing your eating habits, plus, SuperSlow® is the most effective (and sane!) way to having the physique you want.

But WAIT…THERE’S MORE!!

Your workouts were paid for by the SuperSlow Zone®!
Is that possible??? Yes! It is possible IF your company qualifies.

Talk to me about how companies can qualify for this: mross@superslowzone.com

SuperSlow Zone® has a strategic partner that, if your company elects to use their products/services, will fund part or a lot of employee workouts.

Highlights of our exciting, unusual program are:

We have a strategic partner that can potentially…

Pay for some or a large portion of employee workouts

Put approximately 10% of the companies’ annual employee benefits cost BACK TO THE BOTTOM LINE
[i.e. new dollars to the bottom line, not budgeted saved dollars]

Deploy their product/solution under their ‘waived fee option’ which means the company does not pay to deploy EEBS’ products/solutions

Important Additional Benefits To You/Your Company:

Reduce your health care costs through SSZ FitWell

Increase your performance, vitality and general happiness!

Our partner has been in employee communication, administration, and enrollment for ten years. Their technology-based solutions save companies money and time, especially in these economic times of ‘cost cutting’.

[Remember, our partner can put approximately 10% of the companies' annual employee benefits cost BACK TO THE BOTTOM LINE...these are ‘new dollars' to the bottom line, not budgeted saved dollars.]

Our partner is ‘time and results tested’. Examples of their national notable companies are listed below:

Ruby Tuesdays (357 US locations), Pilot Trucking (largest truck stop/convenience store in USA), Florida Rock, Tender Loving Care (second largest nursing home care in USA), University of Alaska (10,000 state employees), State of South Carolina (122,000 state and school employees), State of Florida (130,000 state employees), Hyatt Regency (55,000 employees), Regency Centers (second largest REIT in the USA), Cendant (over 60,000 employees) and Santa Rosa School System, etc

Our partner works with companies with eligible employees of 150 up to unlimited.

So, if you are inclined, email me about your company. Together, let’s see if a SuperSlow Zone FitWell® might make you a hero for helping your company save money while providing SuperSlow® exercise/wellness program…in which part of the employee work outs were potentially paid for!

Welcome to the SuperSlow Zone® at Silver Creek in San Jose. In case the weather outside hasn’t convinced you already, summer is finally here – although I must say it feels like it’s a bit psychotic between hitting lows of the 60’s long before we felt the HEAT! Of course, depending on how much you overindulged – and how little you exercised – over the past nine months or so, “finally” may be a matter of opinion. For some people, the idea of trading layers of oh-so-forgiving, body-hiding fabric for a wardrobe of skimpy shorts and swimsuits hardly deserves a “finally.” In fact, it may provoke something more like an “oh, no!”

If you’re one of those who wishes the sun would go back into hiding for another month or two, don’t worry. You’ve come to the right place. While the idea of getting in shape in time for summer may seem like an impossible dream at this point, you’ve taken the first step toward a better body simply by walking into the SuperSlow Zone®.

At SuperSlow®, we don’t promise miracles. So accept the fact right now that SuperSlow® will not help you lose two pounds a week on a diet of nothing but pizza and beer, or drop two dress sizes while you sleep, or anything along those lines. However, with the possible exception of divine intervention, SuperSlow® is one of the few safe, healthy ways you can get in shape faster than you could ever imagine.

The reason is that the SuperSlow® program works super fast – while being incredibly easy to stick with and follow at the same time. Our workouts are scientifically designed to get the absolute most out of every muscle in your body in the absolute least amount of time. Which means an entire SuperSlow® workout takes only 20 minutes (although it may feel like you’ve put in an hour when you’re done!). And you only need to come in and work out one or two times a week to achieve optimal results.

Go ahead and pinch yourself. We promise you’re not dreaming.

Whether you’re a dedicated gym rat who’s already in great shape or just starting your fitness routine, or haven’t had success with other programs and want to try something that, well, WORKS – we promise that the SuperSlow® program will work for you. Which means you’ll be spending less time working on the body of your dreams, and more time showing it off. So say goodbye to those lumpy layers. Soon enough, you’re going to have a body worth showing off.

And a June welcome to our newest clients – Madhu, Melanie, Harry, Darlene, and Marjorie! Special birthday wishes for July young-un Tri! I hope ALL of you find some time this summer to break away and be good to yourselves!

Last week Tom Lorren, Physical Therapist, owner of 8 physical therapy businesses and two (2) SuperSlow Zones®, told me about his 82 years young father, also named Tom Lorren (Jr.):

Second (yikes!) total knee replacement

Has done SuperSlow® strength training for 5 years

Doing SuperSlow® didn’t hurt, he just needed new knees for activities

Back to doing SuperSlow® 10 days after of his surgery

Tom’s Wisdom – Stay Strong And Active

“I keep my strength up by working on it with SuperSlow® strength training. I stay very active. This is important to me. As you grow older you lose your strength if you don’t work at it. So I hold my strength up as much as possible for as long as possible.”

“The minute you start losing strength your life can start to come apart – it can deteriorate when you don’t keep your strength and keep active. Life can go down hill. People who don’t do this can think, ‘It is too much to exercise. I won’t bother or I can’t.’ This makes a person start to come apart.”

A Clear Message – Tom Takes Care Of Tom

I had the opportunity to chat with Tom. What a pleasure to talk to one of our ‘every day SuperSlow Zone® heroes’! He currently has rehab three times a week at his home and…

“I make sure I do all of the rehab myself on the days they don’t come…and of course I do SuperSlow® two times a week at the clinic. You can’t lie back in the bed and wait until they come back next time…no you do it.”

Tom is clear that he has great help with his rehab and with his Certified SuperSlow® Instructor. However, Tom is clearly driving the exercise and activity bus by working with his professional helpers, doing what he needs to do on his own and applying the focus and effort to get his healing, strength and functionality back to where it was, or better than, before the recent surgery. He knows it’s up to him.

“I can still lift 100lbs…I have the back, leg and arm strength to do this now…I just can’t walk with it yet…but I am looking forward to it!”

Tom The Slacker?….Naugh…

Ok…so Tom slacked off his SuperSlow Zone® work outs for ten days (just kidding…these were ten days ‘post total knee surgery…’) so how was his FIRST work out when he returned?

“I didn’t drop a beat…like I had never been away. I picked right back up at the weight level just before the surgery. No pain during my workout. My knees feel great just after the workout and, of course, I am still rehabbing them, which is to be expected. I am walking over ½ a mile with a walker, but that will be gone soon.”

The Surgeon Remarked, “He’s got terrifically dense bone…what a heck of a drilling we had to do!”

Tom and I talked about his bones – as it related to his recent knee surgery. SuperSlow® strength training can be the most effective method for keeping your bones strong and healthy. As you may or may not know, SuperSlow® was developed by our founder, Ken Hutchins, during a 3.2 million dollar Osteoporosis Study at the University of Florida Medical School in 1982.

Tom has been active all of his life and he knows adding SuperSlow® strength training helps to keep his bones strong. Men are just as at risk for Osteoporosis as women and you surely need strong bones and muscles to function and for your quality of life.

Start Today

“I want people to know that you can start today [SuperSlow®]…it has your rewards…the sooner you start the better it will be for you.”

As we completed our call, my ‘every day SuperSlow Zone® hero’ had these parting words…

“It’s all our choice – yes or no.”

[Is that beautiful or what....]

P.S. To contact Tom Lorren, III at SuperSlow Zone® in Lonview, TX, call 903) 247-2042 or superslow@core-rehab.com

Going after change is the best idea for me. It requires my skill, discipline and help. Of course, I have ask for, and receive, ‘help’….and I do! The helpful part of Nyda’s ’stepping stones’ path for my, and perhaps your, 2009 growth, expansion and change, is summed up in why we have both ‘eyes and feet’: I look far enough ahead to practice a ‘long view’ and my feet stay present with each step. Isn’t that the art and skill of being a human…balancing a long view with being present?

I know that SuperSlow® strength training is a consistent, critical aspect of my mental, emotional, physical and spiritual strength. When I feel strong and vital, I have the energy, skill, discipline, and desire to step on each stone of change.

“Change attitudes and refocus my attention on each and every client…all day – every day.” Lou Abato, SuperSlow® Master [(212) 207-8154 utrainer@aol.com located in Manhattan, NY]

When talking with Lou a couple of weeks ago, I asked him how things were going given that his SuperSlow® location is in the epicenter of our economic detox. His response, stated above, was fantastic to hear. Lou is a SuperSlow® Master, owner of his SuperSlow® business of 10 years in the heart of Manhattan, has delivered over 100,000 SuperSlow® sessions, delivers an average 120 SuperSlow® sessions per week…so, I’d say this guy is pretty much a ‘master’…at least in our world he is!

With all this time in his ‘SuperSlow saddle’ (so to speak…)Lou talks about adapting to his, and his client’s, current situation by choosing to focus with each client, session-by-session, on ‘attitude’. After all these years, it is clear that this guy does not tranquilize about ‘customer service’…he is on it! Maybe you think this is ‘obvious’ but reflect for a moment…what do you…what do I …what do your friends and family…choose to focus on hour-by-hour in these times of change, challenge and opportunity? For me, what a gift to work with someone who is a master in the art and science of our service, SuperSlow® strength training, and knows that staying present and cultivating your attitude is a one of the most important skills, daily.

“Kick you’re health and strength gains out of the park.” Edmund Wittry, Brand and Product Development Expert and Univera Product Support for SSZ [(303) 588-8620, www.pathpointconsulting.com, ewittry@pathpointconsulting.com]

As you step through the new year, think about optimizing your health and exercise (if your exercise is SuperSlow® or another form of exercise/recreation…) through the Univera products we carry and in particular, Prime (DHEA delivered in the 7 Keto method).

“Mother nature is in love with the young. She turns their food into energy and gives them the ability to recover from exercise at an insanely quick rate. Univera products are designed to put those of us past 25 in a similar state of rapid recovery and increased performance – it’s not theory, its scientific fact” said Wittry in an interview last week adding, “If you want to guarantee results in a person over 30, putting their muscles under load while ensuring the body has the essential ‘muscle stimulating chemistry,’ Univera’s Prime will astound them.”

Univera Prime teaches the body how to replicate the repair signals of a healthy 29 year old. What happens? “Everything changes,” says Wittry. He encourages us not to just take his word for it, look at the 3,000+ studies on performance and the body’s natural ability to produce DHEA, the master repair signal in the body.”

“A healthy 29 year old has DHEA levels between 250 and 400, while a 65 year old woman can be in double digits. Strength training is, by far, the best method to get DHEA levels to naturally begin to rise, Prime just finishes the job – offering SuperSlow® clients …or anyone who does a different form of strength training/exercise the opportunity to knock their strength gains out of the park.”

In addition to supporting the SuperSlow Zone® with Univera products, Wittry is a brand and product development strategist. He has 25 years of experience with Fortune 500 companies, identifying the key emotional connection between brands and their customers. For the past eight years, He has been a partner in PathPoint Consulting, a human resources consulting firm specializing in the custom design of leadership and organizational development products.

Better Than Botox – SuperSlow Zone®

I read recently that Botox sales are holding strong . The article went on to say that given our national economic, political, employment, etc. challenges, people want to stay young looking to be able to compete for jobs or to keep the job they have.

What I offer is that SuperSlow® strength training will enable your entire body a boost, both in form and energy, as that of Botox. Check it out! Even if you end up doing both, nothing can replace the anti-aging, re-vitalizing, “MAN I FEEL GREAT!” effects of SuperSlow®.

Investing In You

This sounds like a great idea and you probably are already doing this.

As you know, investing in you is a daily choice…a daily practice. Seeking and sustaining physical strength as one essential investment in you is the core of the SuperSlow Zone®. If you need to learn about, or remember, the immediate and long term value of ‘muscle and strength,’ read our FAQ on the American Medical New’s articles, “Muscles Matter.”

Each of us knows how ’strength’ weaves into our fabric of living…it affects every aspect of our quality of life…doing the things we want to do, having fun, working, socializing, fitting into our clothes, our confidence, focus and stamina, our mental/emotional balance…you know how this for yourself.

One unavoidable truth is that the demands of your daily living, and your long term quality of life (…and I do mean specifically a full, high-functioning life as we age…), require muscle and therefore strength, an investment in you that will yield the highest return over the long haul.

So as you step on your stones of change in 2009, deliberately choose your attitude…choose strength, and choose to focus on what builds and sustains an investment in you.

Welcome to the SuperSlow Zone®. It’s November – the official start of the holiday season. Which means within a few weeks, you may stuff yourself like a holiday turkey with all the treats Americans love. From creamed onions to candied yams, from cornbread dressing to pumpkin pie, it’s no wonder we pack on an average of seven pounds between Thanksgiving and New Year’s!

Add the typically dismal late fall and winter weather keeping us indoors, and it’s a recipe for a full-fledged body disaster. Which is why entering the SuperSlow Zone® is the best holiday gift you can give yourself. Instead of piling on pounds of fat, you’ll be building muscle, which actually helps your body burn more calories! If you stick with the SuperSlow® program through the season, you could be celebrating the New Year with the best body you’ve had in many years, and save your New Year’s resolution for something more important…like working toward world peace. And if you’re one of those disciplined people who keep themselves in shape all year long, you’ll enjoy the season knowing a few overindulgences aren’t going to stick you with the “Seasonal Seven.” Because the SuperSlow® plan is a workout plan that works – and that you can stick with no matter how many shopping trips and parties are on your holiday schedule.

The very best thing about SuperSlow® is, as we like to say, that it works super fast. Whether you’re a complete couch potato or a fitness fanatic, a SuperSlow® workout ALWAYS takes about 20 minutes. And you only have to do it once or twice a week to see amazing results. Yes, it sounds totally and completely impossible. But we promise, about 20 minutes is the actual workout time! Because the unique SuperSlow® system was designed by fitness experts to pack all the power of a traditional workout into a few simple – but powerful – moves. The result is a workout that gives you the body you want without taking over your life. Which, at this time of year, is one exercise program anyone can handle.

SuperSlow Zone Owner in Flemington, New Jersey

For 20 years Kevin was a financial planner for a major credit card company and owner of two retail video sales and rental stores.

In March 2004, he was introduced to SuperSlow and had great results with a longtime back pain problem. After a few months the shoulder pain he normally encountered whenever his arms were extended upwards was gone.

So impressive were his SuperSlow results that Kevin decided to make a career change. In June 2005 he became a certified SuperSlow instructor and opened a thriving SuperSlow Zone franchise in Flemington, N.J.

Kevin is committed to helping his clients achieve and maintain the same spectacular results that compelled him to open his SSZ.

Welcome to the SuperSlow Zone®. October is here, which means in just a few weeks, you’ll no doubt be up to your eyeballs in candy as the neighborhood kids make the annual trek to your door begging for Halloween treats. And if you’re like most people, that candy can be pretty tempting…sitting there in that bowl by the door. And if Halloween falls on a slow night, there’ll be plenty of leftovers…

Of course, Halloween is only the beginning. Next comes Thanksgiving, then all, those Christmas parties and finally New Year’s Eve, when you try to squeeze into your sexiest party outfit and wind up second-guessing your decision to go out at all. Add colder weather that makes it harder to get outside and exercise, and it’s no wonder so many people around the world end up resolving to get in shape on New Year’s Eve, following months of letting their bodies go.

But clearly, you are not one of those people. You are here right now, which means you aren’t going to let the season wreak havoc on your body. You’re going to let SuperSlow® transform your body into the strongest, sleekest fat-burning machine it has ever been. So this New Year’s Eve, you can concentrate on something far more productive. Like maybe getting a big raise.

You’ll definitely be looking sharp by New Year’s, because SuperSlow® works super fast – regardless of what kind of shape you’re in right now. Whether you’ve been working out religiously or have spent the last several years parked on the couch, a workout of just 20 minutes, one to two times a week, will deliver amazing results. This is because SuperSlow® workouts are specially designed for you, to work with your level of fitness and maximize results. And yes, we know 20 minutes a week sounds crazy, but we promise it’s not. Our unique systems provides the power of a major workout just two 20 minute sessions. So you get in and out and get on with your life, which ― at this time of year ― is bound to be pretty busy!

I’d like to speak about every single client, because they are all special, but that might take a little bit too long! It should be very clear how I feel about my clients and I think I’m learning how they feel about SuperSlow®. The nicest example of how I feel is that I now have three clients who are interested in becoming instructors – even if only part time because they have other careers. That’s very cool – because that’s how much they love the product!

After spending so many years disgruntled with Corporate America, I thought that I would really like to change the course of my life to be able to help people be healthy and fit.

Having struggled personally with different types of exercise, I had tried everything – getting injured in the process – then had to start all over again. I thought that if I am having those issues, I figured others would be also. So I started researching information on different types of exercise programs that were available on the internet and came across SuperSlow® and started reading about it and having phone interviews. The next step was to go to Florida to meet all of the folks involved with SuperSlow Zone to see if it would be something I was interested in.

I was surprised at the intensity of the workout and certainly how little time was required for each workout – which is very short compared with what other people do. The safe and brief workouts seemed like something that could be done by other busy people like me. With that in mind, I decided to open a SuperSlow Zone.

At first, there were challenges for opening. It was the dead of winter and in the middle of flu season and it was a little bit frustrating, because when you believe in something yourself and you are trying to find a way to convince somebody, you can’t always do it just by talking to them. You have to get them in the door – that was the hard part – I had to give them a present for Christmas. It was a gift certificate to come in and work out at SuperSlow! It was a bribe! I don’t know that they were that happy to get that for Christmas, but they came in and have worked out twice a week all the way through now, except for one week. They have been very diligent and happy with their results. They keep coming back for more.

Rewards were evident from the beginning, starting out meeting all different types of people and hearing their stories – it was more than I ever anticipated as a fulfilling thing to do with my life. It has been really great helping people. However, you have to understand how dismal it is here, because of the auto industry. It may have been a much easier startup 10 years ago, but there are still people who are willing to spend what money they have on taking care of themselves. If it’s important to them, then they figure out how to do it.

Client appreciation of me was something new to become accustomed to, because I don’t have any of those memories from my corporate life. Here are some examples of what I’m talking about:
•	I have clients that I train during meal times where I might not get a chance to eat and they bring me some food or some fruit.
•	Another client got me a gift certificate to get my hair done. It’s very nice to be appreciated.

Again, as we continue to circle back to the beginning, it is just a great feeling – even better than I anticipated. I have no problem waking up in the morning and getting in there early and staying in there till 8:30 at night, if that’s the only time somebody can get in, or if it’s the only time I have available. It just feels good to be there for them, helping them reach their goals every time I see them, hearing every little thing they may have to tell me that is different and better about their lives.

Success Stories from SuperSlow Zone in Northville, Michigan:

One client came to me with very little strength after having several operations and spending most of her time in bed for the better part of a year.

When she started she wasn’t able to lift her arms up to wash her hair. The joke between us was that I was going to have to go to her house in the morning and help her get ready!

Her goal was to be able to ride her bike again this spring. She has come along way after just being with me since February 2006 (four months). Not only she can ride her bike, but now her strength is much better than it was and she can do all types of things that she couldn’t do before:

1.	She can walk at a good clip for 40 minutes in the park.
2.	She can walk up the stairs with one foot in front of the other, instead of stopping at each step.

She has been doing the walk and bike riding for more than a month now. That is a great, great thing for her and the quality of her life is even better than she thought it might be.

I have others that have some challenges too – some have been with me for awhile and others that have just started.

Another client with several challenges has been with me since the beginning of January. He is an overweight, former athlete in his early 40’s facing knee replacement surgery.

In the beginning I really had to do some convincing, because he had trouble believing that he didn’t have to workout for three hours in a gym a day. However, once he made the commitment to try it, it didn’t take that long – maybe three weeks for him to really believe in the workout. It never got easier, which is the whole idea that was very surprising to him. His workout was always a challenge and he was always pushing.

Now, he is a believer because of his successes:
1.	He has not needed injections in his knee since starting SuperSlow.
2.	He has lost 22 pounds since he starting in January – he is looking to lose more.
3.	He has reduced the amount of pain medication.

He played all kinds of sports, but Hockey was the main sport that he played from youth, through college and into his adult life, until he had to stop playing hockey about a year ago. Now he is hoping that he will be able to play again.

I have a young man that suffered a stroke in his mid-30s, about 7 years ago. He was in a coma for a period of time and lost a lot of muscle and has continuous pain in the back of his legs to the point where he would just fall to the floor in pain and roll around.

His mother saw the article in Vogue and called. They had tried a lot of different doctors and physical therapy and nothing seemed to make any difference, so after reading the article they thought that they would give it a try.

Now 41, his mother and dad drive quite a long distance to bring him in twice a week to exercise. He has not been coming long, but he is already starting to have fewer episodes of pain, and it also gives him something to look forward to.

An athlete before his stroke, he would really like to be able to run again, play golf and things like that. I am working with him and I hope that he can become pain free at some point, or at least have less pain and get stronger so he can walk and run.

Although he hasn’t been with me long enough to have the head-turning success story, he has improved enough to inspire both his mother and his sister to do SuperSlow. So all three of them will be piling into a car and coming together twice a week, and I will with work all three of them. There has been a shared change in their lives that bring them all together at the SuperSlow Zone!

A lovely young mother of two in her early 30s who has never exercised in her life began working out. Her husband is a former pro football player for the Detroit Lions. He is very much into working out and has a gym in his basement, but he couldn’t get her to go down the stairs to use his equipment. So he talked her into coming to see me; she did and now very much enjoys the results. The idea when she came was that they were going on this big vacation – the first time away from their two children – a cruise. She wanted to look the best she could for this cruise, so I was part of their cruise package.

After she had been coming in for a little while, her husband came in because he wanted to meet the woman that finally got his wife to exercise! He has been a big supporter, encouraging her to come in. They just came back from their cruise and she told me that he was so happy with the way she looked that he encouraged her to keep coming in.

What was really nice was that her mother looked at the pictures from her cruise and said, “Oh, you look like you did when you were back in college – you need to keep going there!” That was nice!

She did something that was just so cute when she came in to sign up for another package. Even though I can’t keep it, I thought that was so sweet that she wrote out a separate check, as a tip, and then in the “for” she put “for our friendship.” I should frame it or make a nice copy of it and frame it and give it back to her! I just thought it was very touching to feel that way. She said I was worth every penny and that she appreciated me.

This kind of expression let’s me know how much SuperSlow is helping improve her health, and she is getting back what she wants – which is to look and feel better after having children. When she presented her check, she was choosing beyond the cruise to continue to make SuperSlow Zone part of her life.

I shared that great story with the mother of the young man who suffered the stroke mentioned earlier. After he worked out, I worked with her and then I told her the story. She called me at 7:30 the next morning and she said that her daughter was the mother of two babies and that she wanted her to come in because that story inspired her. She wanted her daughter to have the happy experience that my other client did – getting back into shape after her children.

Another fun group to work with is business executives who are just looking to put SuperSlow exercise into their lives because they are so busy. One busy executive that I have been working with since March 2006 lives in a neighboring town. We fit into his schedule, because all he has to do is take off his shirt, his tie, and his shoes. He works out in his slacks, socks and undershirt.

He was featured in the Detroit news article and now almost everybody at his office has jumped on the bandwagon. Now all men working out from his office are competing with him for the best body, I think!

I have another woman that enjoys coming in dressed in challenging things to work out in – like a dress! And thinks it’s so cool just because she can! She goes to an early morning net-working meeting and then she will come into my place at 9:00 am in her dress, take off her high-heels and works out in her pantyhose and her dress – just because she can!

She has always hated going to a gym, and SuperSlow Zone is such an anti-gym feeling. She enjoys the idea that it is not a gym – no one is there looking at her. She feels much more comfortable.

A new client started a few weeks ago – a woman in her early 60s with osteoporosis who had suffered several broken bones.

She is just starting, so she is beginning to build up a little bit of strength. It is an interesting experience with her, because I walk her in and out to her car for safety.

It has been a very interesting and positive experience having her as a client because:
1.	She has never done any exercise in her life.
2.	She is very excited about coming.
3.	She enjoys the results enough to keep coming twice a week.
4.	She recently attended a dinner to benefit a Detroit-area hospital, sitting at a table with doctors gave out a pile of my business cards and told them what I was doing.
5.	She has also spoken to her physical therapist who is excited about meeting and working with me.

She is due to get a DEXA scan, which we will use as a baseline. We will be able to compare it against subsequent follow-up measurements.

Another client had some weight issues and was simply too tired to walk up the stairs more than once or twice a day. As a matter of fact, because it was way too tiring, it was pretty much her goal for the day to never have to do that.

Now that she’s stronger, it’s not a problem for her to go up and down the stairs several times a day, take the garbage out – just the little things in life are easier for her now. It sounds like “little things” but when you add them up her whole quality of life is better!

The SuperSlow Zone Community – A Spirit of Support

I would like to say something about the spirit of support in the SuperSlow Zone community around the country, and more specifically what it has meant to my location here in Northville. A visitor from SuperSlow Zone in Washington, D.C. came to town and not only did they visit, they actually brought in a client to me locally!

A second experience was someone from Texas in town on vacation visiting family who live here. He came in and brought his sister and her baby who had just been born by C-Section two weeks prior, so it wasn’t like she was ready to jump on the machine, but he wanted her to come in while he was there.

We both talked with her about the benefits of SuperSlow and she said she had been either pregnant or nursing for the last five years and that she was done. As soon as she is feeling up to par, she is actually going to come in to work out with us.

It’s nice that there is support around the country from those who believe in SuperSlow and think about referring others regardless where they live. It jump-starts connectivity so that all the information seeds planted start to come in full bloom. The really important thing here is that clients are so happy that they begin to talk about it at every event they go to – at work or at dinner or at a tea party – they talk about it at tea parties! Who would have thought about that?

Their conversation about SuperSlow with others causes people to be curious enough to want to come in and try it. Once they try it, if they want to make a change in their life and enjoy a challenge, then they are in. Of course, the people they are referring have to make their own decision, but you can see that your clients have developed a deep sense of commitment and care about SuperSlow.

They think: I’m spending money on this so maybe I should park further away and walk a little bit more, and maybe I should eat a little bit better and maybe I should do this …maybe I should do that. It just kind of makes all of those things happen in their life that weren’t happening before when they were just sitting on the couch waiting for something to happen.

When you meet these people, you don’t say, “I’m going to overhaul your life.” All you have to say is, “Okay, well come in and try SuperSlow, it takes about 20 minutes.” But there was no pressure to feel like they had to get in there and redo themselves. Of course, together we set goals and we monitor them, but just by staying purposeful these new influences have positive results as consequences. The results are sustainable over time, because their personal program is designed around the way they live.
