Akrapovic - 10 reasons why you should have one

One of my friends installed one of this last week and the sounds are outrageous. His using the GP series exhaust which the sounds are the point of 125 decibels which are 10 decibels less than the MotoGP. Crazy isn't it??? For sure the police will put their eyes on my friend though as their station not far from my office. Haha.... So let's take a look why you too should have one of this.

The only way to win is to be the fastest, to be unstoppable, and to be unbeatable in every way. This is the motto of the Akrapovic Company since the very beginning.

1. Only the best materials are used

Three basic materials are used for creating exhaust systems: high grade titanium, stainless steel, and pre impregnated ultra light carbon fiber with high tensile strength and temperature resistance. The titanium compound is a unique formula manufactured under an exclusive contract by a Japanese supplier. It is therefore much stronger and durable than regular titanium on the free market. The titanium used by Akrapovič is stronger and 40% lighter than stainless steel.

2. Use of high technology in a state-of-the-art factory

Hydroforming is a process of forming header tubes using machines that mould metal with pressurized water (from 1,000 to 4,000 bars). The material also does not lose its strength in the process. This is necessary because exhaust fumes flow optimally through the tube only when its form is ideal.

There are many different types of motorcycles – fast ones, big ones, good cruisers, motor crossers, all sorts. But this is about a different kind of bike – Insanely expensive, ridiculously trick, made-from-the-most-exotic materials-on-the-planet bikes.

Really, if you have to ask how much these are – you can’t afford one. I had to ask so you don’t have to, but if you see one of these on the road, just remember, the rider is probably as scared of scratching it as you are of dropping your baby. They are in no partucular order except that I have saved the most expensive for last.

MV-Augusta F4CC

Manufacturer’s Suggested Price - $120,000

You heard right, a hundred twenty thousand dollars, although if you stump up this much cash, you do get a free leather jacket and watch. It’s a pretty fancy watch, but it’s still just a watch. Claudio Castiglioni, the boss of MV said, “I decided to put my name to this bike as I originally dreamed of it for myself,” and 90% of the components are hand made to be as light as possible. In fact, the alternator cover saved 2 kilos in weight over the standard model.

Brembo racing brakes, hand made engine internals, a 1078cc engine, titanium racing exhaust, one-off mechanical slipper clutch. This weighs just 187 kilos and produces 200 hp. According to the designers, they were going for a “little black number.” Gimme gimme. Only 100 were made, and as far as I know, they didn’t sell them all yet, so you can still pick one up.

The Aprilia Factory RSV makes the MV look as insanely expensive as it actually is, but at 18K, that’s still a fair chunk of change compared to the competition – you can buy a GSXR-1000 and still have enough money left over to appease the spouse. The RSV has an extremely impressive spec sheet and pedigree, but in this class, it’s just too cheap. Fully adjustable front and rear Ohlins suspension, Ohlins steering damper, Brembo radial mount brakes and forged magnesium wheels make this a serious performance animal. Maybe if they gold plated it or something? It’s a nice looking bike though and universally acclaimed as a good ride.

MTT Turbine SuperBike

Perhaps the most impractical bike on this list, the MTT Turbine SuperBike is powered by a Rolls Royce Allison 250 Series turbine which produces 425 ft/lbs of torque at 2000 rpm and 320 hp at 52,000 rpm and drives through a two speed automatic gearbox. It’s a turbine so revs aren’t quite the same as a normal engine. The MTT was clocked at a record breaking 227 mph and according to the Guinness Book of Records is “The Most Powerful Motorcycle Ever to Enter Series Production.” At the time it was also the most expensive, but that is no longer the case. It’s available as a single or two-seater, but you wouldn’t catch me on the back of this.

Macchia Nera concept bike

MSRP $201,000

Nera means “Black,” in Italian. This was produced as a concept in 2004 and never got any further than that. Based on a Ducati 998 WSB engine, some Italian journalist suggested this was the perfect track day bike, but he was crazy – no one in their right mind throws a two hundred thousand dollar bike down a track. This was the one and only produced and if you are the guy who bought it, I would love to hear from you. This certainly qualifies as the “Most Exclusive Bike in the World.”

Dodge Tomahawk

In true American style, the Dodge Tomahawk weighs in at a beefy 1,500 lbs curb weight. It’s no slouch though – at least in a straight line. I’m not sure I would try going round a corner on it though. And with a measly 3.25 gallon tank (little American gallons at that) I’m not sure you would get as far as a corner. Powered by a liquid-cooled 90-degree 8277 cc V-10 it produces 500 bhp @5600 rpm and 525 lb/ft of torque. A serious challenge for the "Most Impractical Bike in the World," award.

Ecosse Moto Works’ Limited Edition Titanium

Last, but by no means least is the first ever Titanium motorcycle. With handcrafted, clear coated carbon fiber bodywork, hand painted tank and get this – a fuel injected, supercharged, intercooled 2,150cc billet motor, clear coated carbon fiber wheels and a hand made titanium exhaust system. This bike weights 440 lbs and puts out “more than,” 200 hp – at the rear wheel, and produces “more than,” 210 ft/lbs of torque. This is a little like the old expression from Rolls Royce when they were asked how much power their car engines produced – enough. Available exclusively from Robb Report.com Oh, and you get a free watch. I should bloody well hope so for over a quarter million dollars. Unlike the Dodge and Macchia, this one is actually in production - 10 have been built.

History of Ducati

For the Ducati's admirer I brought you the history and founder of this superb bike. Of course we should know if we want to have a bike like this someday.

Ducati Motor Holding is an Italian builder that has its base of operations in Bologna. It is a company well-known for its twin-cylinders bikes like the V-twin 90º or the L-twin and its desmodromic distribution. Its notoriety has also grown with victories in different bike competitions.

Origin and History of the Company

Its origin takes its roots in the tenth century when the Ducati family founded the “Societa Radio Brevetti Ducati”in Bologna, with the objective of manufacturing compounds for better radio transmission. We are talking about the year 1926, and this issue was booming at the time. But they quickly diversified their production, also making calculators, photo machines, and, of course, radios.

But with World War Two, Ducati took a hit and in 1943 was invaded by troops from the German army. On top of that, a year later, in 1944, the factory was bombed and completely destroyed.

The Ducati brothers had to put a lot of effort into getting the factory back on its feet, but this time they focused their production on making auxiliary engines to be adapted to bicycle frames. They had purchased the SIATA license and the first bike they manufactured was called the "Cucciolo."

Even though the "Cucciolo" engines were widely accepted during the period and were already experiencing great success, the Ducati brothers declared the company bankrupt and abandoned it in 1949. Until 1983, the company was purchased by the Castiglioni brothers, owners of Cagiva, and the company became the property of the State.

In 1996, it was the American company TGP who took over Ducati when the owners of Cagiva experienced financial problems. And not until 2006 did the company return to being an entirely Italian company when 100% of Ducati capital was purchased by the Italian Investment Fund.

Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300R

Here it is I would think the best of Suzuki's with a roaring power up 1300 cc. Further emails from Nomad (UH) has detailed that the symbol does not represent hayato - which actually is a title of a religious man. Furthermore hayato has 2 characters. Hence the pronunciation of the symbol is actually 'jun' or 'hayabusa'. The symbol definitely represents the hayabusa.

I never ride one and I think it would make me pray before I ride it. For those you dudes who don't know how it would blow you off here I give you some of the reviews of this monster courtesy of www.hyp4r.com.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

On the road the ride is great, firm but not soft. Handling and stability meets or often exceeds expectations. Power is something else, smooth and effortless - you accelerate so quickly without even trying. The EFI system is close to flawless with absolutely NO surging or NO flatspots what so ever. Even at slow constant throttle speeds. The only thing that feels weird about the bike is the vibration that occurs after 4500rpm. You can feel some through the handlebars and to a lessor extent the foot pegs. They do subside after about 5500rpm. The engine despite being solidly mounted to the fairing is smooth. With that in mind ALL bikes have vibes to some extent, it depends on how you interpret them. The front brakes do not bite initially as per sportsbike hence require a stronger squeeze, however using them at higher speeds they work as expected without attempting to throw you off. The front steering damper hidden behind the fairing and headlight is completely unnoticed. Only when you hit some bumps does it make a clunking sound. The engine makes is car like sound except a louder and having a deeper tone and sound typically like a Suzuki bike slightly 'loose' . If your taller the top of the screen does hide the top of the instruments, this is clearly due to the aerodynamics. It was designed to exceed 300kph after all. The bike does feel heavy and solid when manoeuvring with your feet but quite agile once on the move even at low speeds. The clutch also has a torque limiter which delays the full power sent to the rear wheel when taking off from standstill. It is essential as with 1300cc, because if the response was immediate from standstill...I'm sure you can imagine the consequences. When changing down to lower gears at high rpm the rear wheels do not lock up either which is fantastic. A final item is the semi-remote front end. It is a tad remote but in the same league as the CBR600 although over time you do understand that they do have feedback but they talk softly. However at the same time telegraph limits etc...

I call these things 'character'.

COMFORT

The riding position is still comfortable. I can understand why it's slightly leaning forward, because you do have to hang on when accelerating and its more comfortable to duck behind the screen when travelling is excess of 160kph. The seat is one of the best features. It's really comfortable. You may get a sore back if you slouch over the tank but your butt remains free of pain. I have yet to hear of a Busa owner who has got a sore butt. Ride a CBR6 F4 for an hour and you'll know what a sore butt really feels like. The Hayabusa's fairing is good for all speed providing considerable wind protection at ALL speeds. Tall riders may find the screen a tad short but I don't have a problem. If you have longer legs you may find your knees resting on the edge of the front fairing. Although like all bikes in this class there are riders who prefer it handle bars raised a little, often they would also like the screen taller. I conclude they are taller riders. Likewise there are those who prefer the foot pegs further down or forward. Again this is dependent on you body type and personal preference. I am yet to hear of anyone who finds the bike uncomfortable. I happy with the arrangement but tend to slouch so I would like the position more upright. Yes it is comfortable enough to go touring on.

In traffic the bike is comfortable no sore wrists, butt or any other limb, on the open road the bike also comfortable etc.. although like all bikes except, possibly tourers or super tourers you do need a stretch after a tank of fuel.

I describe the Hayabusa as comfortable.

HANDLING

Speaking of handling, the Hayabusa can boogie with the rest of them on the road. It can be a bit imprecise in multiple fast corners such as roundabouts or multiple corners but mainly because powering into such corners then backing of for the apex is how I usually like to ride. I like the feel of physically turning or forcing the bike as opposed to the recommended throttle off technique. Mainly because I sense a lack of feel when doing it this way. It is not a flickable bike unless you carry some weight. I'm not a talented rider by any way shape of form so don't get any ideas. Keeping a steady throttle around a corner the Hayabusa will hold the line, however not in the same league as it feels in the straight line, which it is totally razor-blade like. I think the lack of feel has been caused by the fitment of the steering damper.

Note : due to smooth power delivery you will require significant throttle and speed before it will wheelie.

It initially feels big and heavy when starting off but on the move it feels much like a bigger CBR600. The difference is more effort is required to control the Busa. Around town its relatively easy to ride, smoothness and easy to steer, unfortunately very easy apply power as the throttle is immediate, no surging or chain lash at all. General cornering and high speed corners are fine. But a tad worrying on tight roundabouts due to the ultimate lack for feedback and huge power. The power factor is in its element in town as it is on the open road. I often use 2nd for take-offs and leave it in 4th in town - 2000-300rpm.

When traveling with smaller cc bikes the Hayabusa rider needs to ensure that they keep the revs down. Speed happens very quickly and at low revs. The smaller cc bikes may need many more 1000's more rpm to keep up. The in gear performance of the Hayabusa is amazing. Whilst the smaller sporties will carry more corner speed hence handle more precisely, the Busa will invite slower cornering but encourage much much hard power up exiting the corner.

On the track it's quite different. You really do have to set the suspension and be committed to ride on track competitively. Standard suspension is way too soft and there's not enough feel. The Busa wasn't designed as a track weapon, it is clearly designed to be the fastest and hence have some sort of sporty handling to enable control but not ultimate track handling as per genuine sports bikes. Eg. almost all the 600s the R1 Fireblade etc.. A less experienced rider will go much faster on a 600 around the track than on the same rider on a Hayabusa. Riding the Hayabusa at the same speeds does require more experience and nerve.

I describe the handling as sporty but will require skill to push hard.

MAINTENANCE

The tyre situation is amazing, regardless of brand or model the Hayabusa is capable to translating alot of power into the rear wheel and destroying the tyre in less than 1000kms. In normal use I think you'll find that the rear tyre can last between 6000-10000kms and the front tyre 10,000km if you keep pressures and not riding too hard.

From experience the front end does shimmer and makes a loud 'whoo-whoo' sound when the front tyre gets old and/or due for replacement. Once the tyre is replaced the front end feel is actually quite good ! So good condition tyres are necessary to enjoy the Hayabusa in Full. That goes to any bike other too !

It still amazes me on how the engineers could design a bike that can allows so much useable power in low revs and still continue in the uppers rev range. The fuel consumption is likewise outstanding. I have a lowest recorded figure so far of 5.0lt per 100kms. Highway riding is superb due to the torque available and the low revs. The screen is definitely too low when in a normal riding position you can keep this up to about 180kph. My bike seems afflicted with a wheelie tendency at about 180kph probably due to me weighing under 80kgs. Further I have the centre stand installed. Hence the bike is not in full aerodynamic mode. Hiding behind the screen fully is really not required till past 200kph. You can feel the aerodynamics work much better at high speeds when hiding behind the screen.

Other maintenance issues such as chains and sprockets oil etc are on par with any other chain driven bike. Due to EFI it should be easier to maintain. Valve clearances, sparks are scheduled as per any other bike too. Servicing as with any other bike is very important but it does not require anything special.

Problems that can effect the Hayabusa are the same for any other bike so nothing special to lookout for.

FURTHER RIDING EXPERIENCE

The spinning dials, now copied by various other manufacturers have NOT lost their appeal. I love the clock and the fuel consumption gauges. The distance per litre or mile and consumption per 100kms or mile is also handy. The look of the dash has not dated either. A passer-by commented on how much it resembled an aero plane. Regardless of opinions, the overall look of the Hayabusa is definitely unique. It 'hides' it's looks in the darker colours, the brighter ones do attract more attention. In my opinion the Blue and Silver one is the best colour scheme so far. The Copper and Bronze is certainly different and is still an attention grabber. It reminds me of the original GSX-R750 black gold and funny decal model.

Quality of manufacture of the Hayabusa is high. The fairings and paint job coped with the ultra-high UV in the territory without fading for the past year. The plastic bits still look fine. Nothing has fallen off or corroded. Mind you it's only been through several Darwin wet seasons. Whilst riding there isn't any 'plastic vibes'.

So how does it rate on a daily transport basis ? Short rides on any sort of bike like the Busa doesn't do it justice. Longer rides in traffic or in the country are just as fun. The ability of the bike to be predictable is great.

Long term satisfaction with the Busa is dependent on how well the bike has been serviced. Unfortunately the bike has also been the subject to 2 recalls on the same or similar components when first released. Luckily it has not effected my bike. I have heard absolute horror stories of mal-treated by Hayabusa owners from around the world on the poor servicing. I am fortunate to have a great dealer in the NT so my bike is always maintained at its best.

As I have got to know the Hayabusa I can't imagine replacing it for anything less.. for what I use it for.

RECOMMENDATION

Personally I find it hard to say 'good-bye' to this bike. It does everything well and some things the best I've experienced. There isn't anything about the Hayabusa that makes it difficult to live with. Only 2 drawbacks : it can't do dirt and it can't carry hard luggage (although from 2002 onwards this is now possible). Oh! and it can't turn invisible when a speed or radar is aimed at it. - But it tries !

Triumph Superbike

I've seen one of this when I was on the way back from Johor Bahru to KL. It was an orange color and beautiful. Looks cheeky and I was thinking is the performance matched the looks. I didn't find any dealers in Malaysia but I did know that they have their own manufacturing factory back in Thailand. So if you guys know more than I do kindly post a comment about the bikes. I've done my research and I noted down some information that I've gathered here.

Triumph Motorcycles Ltd. is the largest surviving British motorcycle manufacturer. When the Triumph Engineering Co Ltd went into receivership in 1983, John Bloor bought the name and manufacturing rights from the Official Receiver.The new company (initially Bonneville Coventry Ltd) continued Triumph's record of motorcycle production since 1902, making it the world's oldest surviving motorcycle manufacturer.

The new company's manufacturing plant and its designs were not able to compete against the Japanese so Bloor decided against relaunching Triumph immediately. Initially, production of the old Bonneville was continued under licence by Les Harris of Racing Spares, in Newton Abbot,Devon, to bridge the gap between the end of the old company and the start of the new company. For five years from 1983, about 14 were built a week in peak production. In the USA, due to problems with liability insurance, the Harris Bonnevilles were never imported.

Bloor set to work assembling the new Triumph, hiring several of the group's former designers to begin work on new models. The team visited Japan on a tour of its competitors' facilities and became determined to adopt Japanese manufacturing techniques and especially new-generation computer-controlled machinery. In 1985, Triumph purchased a first set of equipment to begin working, in secret, on its new prototype models. By 1987, the company had completed its first engine. In 1988, Bloor funded the building of a new factory at a 10-acre (40,000 m2) site in Hinckley, Leicestershire.[5] Bloor put between £70million and £100million into the company between purchasing the brand and breaking even in 2000.

TT600

A new range of motorcycles using famous model names from the past arrived in 1991. New 750 cc and 900 cc triple-cylinder bikes and 1000 cc and 1200 cc four-cylinder bikes all using a modular design to keep production costs low – an idea originally put forward, in air-cooled form, in the early 1970s by Bert Hopwood but not implemented by the then BSA-Triumph company – were built. There were early problems and the four-cylinder 600 cc sports TT600 was described in reviews as "unpleasant at low revs due to a lethargic and unpredictable throttle response, with anonymous styling".As sales built, the big fours were phased out of the lineup and parallel twins and triples became the marketing and development focus of Triumph's marketing strategy. Triumph also decided to exploit demand for 'retro' motorcycles with modern engineering. The 865 cc versions of the Triumph Bonneville and Thruxton look and sound original but internally they have modern valves and counter balance shafts.

For their contemporary range, the triple is Hinckley Triumph's trademark, filling a niche between European and American twins and four cylinder Japanese machinery. The 2,294 cc (140.0 cu in) triple Rocket III cruiser was introduced in 2004. The first 300 Rocket III models were already sold before they were produced, and there was a long waiting list for Rockets into 2005.

At the same time as production capacity increased, Bloor established a new network of export distributors. He has previously created two subsidiary companies, Triumph Deutschland GmbH and Triumph France SA. In 1994 Bloor created Triumph Motorcycles America Ltd.

In 1995, the Triple Connection clothing range and the accessories range of products were launched.Triumph made a commercial decision to design all their own motorcycle clothing rather than licence other producers.

At 21.00 on 15 March 2002, as the company was preparing to celebrate its 100th anniversary as a motorcycle maker, its main factory was destroyed by a fire which began at the rear of the facility. At the height of the blaze over 100 firefighters were tackling the fire which destroyed most of the manufacturing capacity.

Nevertheless, the company, which by then employed more than 650, quickly rebuilt the facility and returned to production by September that year. Furthermore, in 2003, Triumph opened a new manufacturing facility in Thailand. An assembly and painting facility in Thailand was opened in 2006 by Prince Andrew. In September 2008, Triumph announced that they were expanding their Thailand factory to increase capacity to over 130,000 motorcycles.

The Triumph Group announced sales of 37,400 units in the financial year ending 30 June 2006. This represented a growth of 18% over the 31,600 produced in 2005. Company turnover rose 13% to £200 million ($370 million), but net profit remained static at around £10.3 million due to recent investment in production facilities.

On 21 July 2008, Triumph held a Global Dealer Conference where new models for 2009 were launched, including the official announcement of the parallel twin-cylinder Triumph Thunderbird 1600.

The Daily Telegraph business pages of 4 June 2009, reported Lord Digby Jones, the former Minister of State for Trade, becoming chairman of Triumph motorcycles (Hinckley) Ltd as well as announcing the new 1600 cc Triumph Thunderbird twin cylinder model and Chief executive, Tue Mantoni's 'cautious' general market outlook for 2009 given the prevailing global economic downturn and despite a 19% rise in sales.

2. Ducati 1098

No other manufacturer has enjoyed as much success in superbike racing as Ducati. The Bologna factory has even provided us with three British world champions - Carl Fogarty, Neil Hodgson and James Toseland.

The new 1098 has not been without its controversy - many rival manufacturers are unhappy it has a 200cc advantage, introduced to allow twin-cylinder machines, which don't rev as high, to compete with the fours. The 1098 picks up where the 916 left off; gorgeous to look at and a thumping mid-range.

3. Suzuki GSX-R1000

More than any other maker, Suzuki has brought the superbike to the masses and its sports bikes top the sales charts seemingly at will. The GSX-R1000 is one of the most powerful, but also one of the cheapest.

The Gixxer, as it's known, is no bargain basement duffer, in fact Troy Corser proved just how quick the GSX-R1000 can be when he claimed the World Superbike crown in 2005. Go out for a ride on any sunny day and you're guaranteed to be overtaken by at least 10 GSX-R1000s - so if you're happy to blend into the crowd, the Gixxer is probably best superbike in the world.

4. Yamaha R1

The fifth generation of the R1 now boasts more technology than Currys. The fly-by-wire throttle means wherever you are in the rev range you're guaranteed smooth and linear power delivery.

The R1 is also surprisingly comfortable to ride, unlike some other superbikes there's less weight on the wrists and your legs feel less cramped. However, in the ultra-competitive world of superbikes it would seem Honda's Fireblade has just edged its (somewhat squashed) nose in front and it's up to Yamaha to catch up.

5. Kawasaki ZX-10R Ninja

Kawasaki has always enjoyed its brutish reputation in the sports bike market. Next to the finesse and over-engineering of Honda comes Kawasaki's savage power and explosive delivery. This is no-holds-barred performance and the rider can just hang on and suffer.

But with 175bhp propelling you forward, all thoughts of discomfort will jump out of the window as the adrenaline kicks in. Without a major revision since 2006, the ZX-10R is, in the fast moving current of superbike development, a bit long in the tooth and it's soon going to be time for Kawasaki to unleash its next generation Ninja.

6. KTM RC8

The newest superbike contender thinks the future is orange. When we rode the RC8 last month at its world launch at Spain's Ascari circuit we described it as: "a very mean pussycat" - gentle when you wanted, but able to spit and snarl with the best.

The styling is going to divide opinions; described as 'like looking at a superbike through a cracked mirror'. But it's on the track that matters and the RC8 is making its race debut in the World Superstock Championship, possibly heading to superbike racing in 2009. KTM has a proud competition history, so its entry into production road racing will cause quite a stir.

7. MV Agusta F4 1000R

The F4, penned by legendary bike designer Massimo Tamburini, is the very pinnacle of what a great Italian sports bike should be: it's beautiful, focused and depressingly expensive. It just loves to be photographed and you can't take a bad picture of it.

But the F4 isn't all beauty and no brawn, this is a tyre-shredding superstock race winner at heart and faster than most mortal riders would dare go. Top of the range components, a highly tuned in-line four and a chassis capable of delivering the sharpest possible handling combine to make the F4 1000R one of the most desirable bikes on the planet.

8. Aprilia RSV1000R Mille

Aprilia had never made a superbike until it turned its hand to the RSV Mille and if this is the fruit of its first labour then it makes you wonder just how good its V4 superbike will be when it's unveiled later this year.

The RSV Mille utilises a punchy Rotax V-twin and brings Italian exotica to the mainstream, tempting a few would be Ducati owners away from the red-side. If the standard bike is just too soggy for you (which I very much doubt) then an ultra-trick RSV-R Factory version is available with the highest spec racing components - naturally, a higher spec credit card is also required.

9. BMW HP Sport

This is a bit of a departure from sensible, old BMW. For so long BMW has only dipped a toe in the sports bike market but now it's only gone and launched a full-on carbon factory racer. Just how BMW has squeezed nearly 130bhp from its air-cooled flat twin is almost more stunning than the bike's class winning victory at the Le Mans endurance race first time out.

Light and flickable with bags of torque, whatever this superbike loses on sheer top end it will make up for in its usability - however, don't lean too far or you'll scuff those carbon tipped cylinder heads.

10. Buell 1125R

The 1125R had a rocky start when the original bikes, plagued with fuelling glitches and other faults, were withdrawn and tweaked. Now, with the problems ironed out, we have America's first real superbike in all its glory.

It's been a controversial move by Erik Buell, not least because he ditched Harley-Davidson's air-cooled, 45-degree lumps in favour of an Austrian Rotax liquid-cooled monster of an engine. If you want something a little bit different from an inline-four Japanese rocket (and for a reasonable price) then the Buell 1125R is a worthy contender.

Maka disebabkan alasan alasan di atas adelah kirenye mungkin aku memang tak kemas kini belog ini seperti yang di harapkan Tuan Director Didie

Ala selame ni aku tak kemas kini pon bukan orang kesah

Cume saje nak poyo nak bagitau orang ramai (bukan ramai mane pon bace belog ni,buleh dikire dengan jari hatta satu tangan punya jari pon tak abis nak kire)

Tapi takpe,yang lepas tu biarkan la berlalu. Seperti tajuk yang di pompangkan dan imej yang pertama tertera di atas Ride kali ni tujuan nye hanyelah untuk makan PAU.

So di sebab kan jari aku ni dah berat dan aku pon nak g mandi adalah kirenye molek aku terus kepada titik, iaitu RIDE KE TANJUNG MALIM pada hari ke 18 pada bulan yang Keempat tahun ni.

Macam biasa, minggu sebelum ride plan memang hebat, macam ramai nak ikut..katanya..tapi disebabkan Team kita ni dah name pon team Pompang, so bikers yang pergi memang boleh sangat dikire dengan jari, tak padanlah nak kira sebenarnya,buat penat je, jadi di pendekkan cerita, yang pergi ke TANJUNG MALIM hanyalah - Abg Din sebagai ketua konvoi atau pun Marshall, Ismeth@ulamkambing sebagai pembakar semangat sebab dia memang bersemangat gile2, pukul 7 pagi dah ada dekat Stesen Minyak Tol Jalan Duta dan aku bersama Syafik@sapok biki yang membawa buah hatinya sebagai pembonceng@balancer=), dan tak lupe Cameraman kite Nik Zaki@Nakate bersama isterinya menaiki mesin GSR Turbo 1.8liter.

Jadi di sebabkan hanya 4 bikers maka hanya 4 mesin saje yang ada, ER6n dua biji, CB400 dua biji, Black Stallion, Orange Bullet, Bumblebee, The Red SuperFour(sori pik lupe nickname moto ko). Perjalan ke sana memang menarik, Marshall@Abg Din bagitau "woi bawak biase je lah, satu dua satu empat ok dah,jalan lembap lagi pagi2 ni"...tapi masuk je highway dia dah sosah 200!, ape cte ni marshall, Ismeth@pembakar semangat yang semangat dia selalu je lebih2 kat mana2 pun ape lagi, sosah jugak 200..yang lain maintain je,180kmh. Oleh sebab kesemua Pompang Bikers menunggang dengan penuh semangat, dalam masa 15 minit..lebih sket sebenarnye, saje kasi gempak sket, sampai la semuanya di RESTORAN PAU YIK MUN TANJUNG MALIM.

Jari aku ni semakin berat, jadi adalah kirenye baik sangatlah aku cite je dalam bentuk titik borang atau dengan kata lain point form

- Sampai sana semua orang tengok (biaselah, Superbike kan...katenye)

- Order pau, pastu makan puas2 sambil dengar tukang karut bercerita

- Pastu sampai Geng2 Superbike Lagi Besar dimane kehadiran diorang menyebabkan Abg Din@Marshall barkata "diorang dah sampai kite ni macam bawak RXZ je".

- Sesi beramah mesra bersama Bikers -bikers yang lain, takde la mesra sangat pon,saje nak poyo kat pembaca2 belog ni konon konon kitorang ni sama la ngan diorang...

-Dah agak tengah ari sket kitorang chow,tapi masuk je highway kitorang stop, saje bagi geng2 yang bawak R1,GTR14,Hayabusa, K9 tu jalan dulu,takut diorang tak larat nak kejar nanti(poyo lagi ni,padahal kitorang tunggu zaki).

So di sebabkan jari aku memang dah berat tak nak gerak dah ni, as they always say,the rest is history. Sekian

Kebanyakkan members sekarang ramai yang pakai easy-rider superbike macam ER-6 and CB-400. Maybe sebab senang nak handle or sebab nak buat pergi kerja je. Kawasaki menjadi pilihan kebanyakan riders maybe sebab pertama sekali harganya yang murah. Tapi jangan ingat harga murah performance tak bagus. Harganya murah disebabkan parts di pasang di sini. Wa da test ER-6 dan dari segi performance memang bagus. Sesuai untuk agresif riders.

Tapi dalam hati wa KTM tetap menjadi idaman. Wa admire KTM since sekolah lagi start dengan model scrambler. Pergh... memang stim giler. Sekarang dah banyak KTM dealers kat sini and ada jugak member-member wa yang jadi dealer KTM. Ini menguatkan lagi semangat wa nak beli KTM. So bila wa cakap ada member yang jadi dealer so wa pun dapatlah bawak beberapa model KTM yang ada kat Malaysia. Setakat ni wa da test model SMR 690, 990, Duke 690 dan yang paling best sekali dapat test RC8. Memang dasyat !!!

Tapi masalah yang dihadapi oleh kebanyakan lovers KTM ini ialah harganya yang agak mahal. Maybe bagi wa, ialah wa ni makan gaji, komitmen banyak lak tu. Dan sekarang pulak disebabkan demand yang tinggi harganya da naik pulak. Kalau untuk model Duke 690 yang paling banyak demand sekarang ni ialah RM53k ++. Performance dia memang tip-top. Yang paling bagus pasal KTM ni ialah harganyer yang dilindungi. So market value KTM ni takkan jatuh banyak macam model-model Jepun yang lain. Jadi agak bagus jugak untuk buat investment, betul tak???

Bila nak beli tu masih lagi menjadi persoalan. Kalo member-member wa cakap POMPANG, maknanyer bebual je lebih tapi insyaallah wa akan usahakan KTM akan menjadi milikku. Hahaha... So doa-doakan lah agar wa dapat pakai KTM satu hari nanti..

Makan Nasi Lemak di Kuantan? Sedap Ke?

Minggu ni ada ride ke Kuantan... katanye...

Kalau mengikutkan aktivitinya pegi sana nak makan nasi lemak lepas tu nak ke Bentong singgah ke rumah Haidi. Jadi ke paintball?

Sekarang ni wa da tambah authors dan ada gak jemput kawan-kawan yang lain utk jadi authors. Jadi takdelah mengharapkan wa je nak update blog ni. Nak jugak tengok kawan-kawan kita menulis blog. Macam Ameja, tengok nama email je dah macam mat bunga: Senandika?!! Nama novelist...katanya...

So, wa tak dapat ikut pegi ride buat kali kedua...hahaha.. sebab tulah nama team kitaorang ni pompang... kalau tak pompang memang tak sah !!!
