Global Environmental Climate and Marine Phytoplankton Interrelationship

Studies from satellite data over a period of 10 years have documented and shown for the first time that Global arming is Devastating to the long-term survival of Marine Life which endangers the planetary oxygen supply and primary production of sea plankton populations. All of the world’s oceans could become affected by the reduction of microscopic plants and marine phytoplankton. In contrast whenever global climate average temperatures are on the rise the marine plant life subsequently increases. Ocean color is being used as a gauge to record ocean temperatures by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Green oceans with colder sea surface temperatures represent a higher level of phytoplankton plant activity as contrasted to lower productivity of marine phytoplankton in warmer blue seas. Increased efforts are Being conducted in regional ecological modeling to better understand the marine algae physiological ecology and carbon cycling’s relationship to climate change and ocean productivity which has a direct relationship to the density of chlorophyll. For a short period in the late 1990′s during strong El Nino periods the plant growth in the oceans was high but for the last seven years warming has increased. The world marine phytoplankton biomass is consumed and recycled every few days which makes it easier to detect than biomass on land. The catalyst causing this new phenomenon is rising carbon dioxide in levels that overwhelm marine phytoplankton. In the atmosphere as carbon dioxide rises the climate warms and marine phytoplankton production goes down reducing ocean plants carbon dioxide uptake. Due to CO2 increases in the atmosphere the ocean acidity also increases causing unexpected consequences on marine production of dimethyl sulfide or DMS and leading to three times the normal ocean acidity level in ocean surface waters. The link between marine phytoplankton ecosystems and increasing ocean acidity could be key to better understanding future health of marine organisms.

Why Marine Phytoplankton

Marine Phytoplankton contains almost every element you need for sustaining life: Contains nine essential AMINO ACIDS: Essential FATTY ACIDS including Omega 3 & 6; Vitamins A,B,C,D; Macro and trace minerals are contained in phytoplankton all in a balanced natural bioavailable form. Marine Phytoplankton Resources and Studies.

Marine Phytoplankton is a supercharged, ocean-based micro algae that is raw, live, and thus enzyme active. It contains every known mineral and all amino acids that our bodies need for optimum health. Phytoplankton is the original source of Omega 3?s and is more powerful than any fish/flax oil you can find. Scientist and researcher Jacques Cousteau was the first to crack this code when he said that the future of the nutrition was in the ocean. Marine Phytoplankton is in fact at the very bottom of the entire worlds food chain.

What is marine algae…Marine Phytoplankton?
Profound Life-Giving Properties of Marine Phytoplankton

Dr. Jerry Tennant, MD, from the Tennant Institute of Integrative Medicine, explains that the micronutrients and electrolytes in marine phytoplankton are exactly what human cell membranes need to carry out their metabolism. Not surprisingly, the composition of human plasma, or fluid surrounding cell membranes, is similar to that of sea water. For three billion years Marine Phytoplankton has supported virtually all living creatures in the Ocean. It contains a unique combination of life sustaining nutrients including; Omega 3 essential fatty acids (EPA and DHA), protein, chlorophyll, vitamins, iodine, minerals and trace elements.

What is Marine Phytoplankton?

by David Herring

Phytoplankton are microscopic plants that live in the ocean. There are many species of phytoplankton, each of which has a characteristic shape. Collectively, phytoplankton grow abundantly in oceans around the world and are the foundation of the marine food chain. Small fish, and some species of whales, eat them as food. Larger fish then eat the smaller fish. Humans catch and eat many of these larger fish. Since phytoplankton depend upon certain conditions for growth, they are a good indicator of change in their environment. For these reasons, and because they also exert a global-scale influence on climate, phytoplankton are of primary interest to oceanographers and Earth scientists around the world.

Phyto means Light and Plankton means Floating/Suspended. Scientists at NASA theorize that some 3 1/2 billion years ago, the world was changed forever. The appearance of tiny organisms with the ability to convert sunlight, warmth, water and minerals into protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and amino acids marked the beginning of life. Phytoplankton, the single-cell plants are the basis of all other life forms on planet earth, they are the ‘vegetation’ of the ocean. Phytoplankton are responsible for making up to 90% of Earth’s oxygen. Phytoplankton are the food utilized by some of the world’s largest and longest living animals and fish. Blue Whales, humpbacks, baleen whales and more all eat plankton and live between 80-150 years while maintaining great strength and endurance and are sexually active until they die.

Plankton have an alkaline pH, which is important, given the acidity of our diets high in refined sugars, soda pop, and farmed large animals. The high density of nutrients found in algae is extremely important for many reasons. Perhaps the most important (as noted above) is that these nutrients maintain human cell membranes in structure and function. This is vital for cell detoxification, and for the overall metabolism of human cells. In fact, the causes of diseases have been simplified to very specific mechanisms, all of which center on cell membrane function and structure. Inflammation, Oxidation, Toxicity, and Mitochondrial dysfunction keep cell membranes from doing their job effectively. Algae contain high levels of antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory micronutrients to fuel metabolism and detoxification. Also, they stoke the fires of the Mitochondria, where cells make energy required to carry out their function. Of course, photosynthesis is the mechanism whereby plants in general and algae in particular, harness life-sustaining solar energy. (J. Applied Phycology 1993;5:235.)

What is Marine Phytoplankton – Alpha 3 CMP

1) OPEN Cell vs. CLOSED Cell Marine Phytoplankton… what’s the difference?

Alpha 3 CMP™ is OPEN cell Phytoplankton. Other brands of Phytoplankton are CLOSED (whole) Cell.

The Human body does not have the digestive enzymes to break down silica which forms the “shell” of many microscopic plankton, therefore, if the cell wall is still WHOLE (closed), very little, if any nutrients will be absorbed. Alpha 3 CMP™ cells in FrequenSea are opened without using any heat, freezing, or chemicals which could affect effi-cacy. Often times other companies with closed cell plankton blend their species with other forms of seaweed and greens to yield nutritional potential for humans.

2) WILD Marine Phytoplankton or Marine Phytoplankton grown in Bio-reactors?

Unique Sea Farms is the only company worldwide with the patent pending technology to grow and harvest WILD natural blends of phytoplankton in eco-friendly sustainable quantities. As with any type of produce, the closer it can be grown with mother nature, the better. That is how food is intended to grow! Alpha 3 CMP™ is a blend of up to 200 species of WILD Marine Phytoplankton from Natural sea water blooming in an abundance of sunshine. Other single species of phytoplankton are grown using standard labora-tory methods, in a denatured environment called a bio-reactor with synthetic sea water.

3) What scientific human studies are there for Marine Phytoplankton, medically proving increased cellular health?Ask all companies for THEIR actual studies pertaining to the phytoplankton in their products. Any reputable source of Marine Phytoplankton should be able to show human benefit for THEIR species of phytoplankton. Through full double-blind placebo studies, the University of Utah discovered that Alpha 3 CMP™ is scientifically proven to increase the CD3 cells (T– Lymphocytes) in the body (ForeverGreen has copies of this study). The exciting component of this study is that the University of Utah doesn’t actually endorse Alpha 3 CMP™ meaning they are simply looking to scientifically confirm facts.

4) Is more “more”? How much Alpha 3 CMP Marine Phytoplankton did Tom Harper consume daily?

Mr. Harper consumed 75 mg of pure Marine Phytoplankton daily. It is now scientifically proven that a daily serving of 75mg of Alpha 3 CMP offers enough potency to increase the CD3 cells. In fact, each serving (75mg of Marine Phytoplankton from 1oz of FrequenSea) provides the essence of over 300 000 000 cells per serving! Other brands may provide more bulk plankton per serving, but again, if they have closed or whole cell silica plankton, more will not make a difference from a human perspective. Often times consumers assume “more is more”, and this is what manufacturers count on at points of purchase.

5) What environmental impact does growing different species of Plankton have on our planet?

The first step of the technology to “Bloom” the Marine Phytoplankton in the each one million L tanks requires that we fill them up with natural seawater which contains naturally occurring wild species of Marine Phytoplanktonphytoplankton that are thoroughly tested each and every batch to ensure they are completely safe for human consumption. As phytoplankton make up the basis of the food chain in the ocean, it is imperative NOT to disrupt or take away this natural foundation. In essence, we “borrow” the Plankton for only 5 to 12 days until the tanks are in full “bloom” and ready to be harvested. Approximately 5% of the wild nutrient rich Marine Phytoplankton bloom remain in the tanks after harvesting, therefore, when we empty the tanks the remaining three to five percent of Marine Phytoplankton nutrients returns back out to the ocean, maintaining the strength of the ocean’s food chain.

The Sea Farm is a CARBON NEUTRAL research facility. Unbelievably, it only requires about 10Hp of electricity to operate! We use natural sunlight as opposed to synthetic high energy consuming bulbs. You have probably heard about the carbon fixation of trees and the increasing interest in planting trees to offset our carbon emissions. The fact is that a mature tree probably fixes 4-5 t of CO2 over its lifespan of 40-100 years. In terms of removal rate, forests fix at least 1.2 t of CO2 per acre per year (or 4.4 t C02/acre/year). In contrast, our facility running 8 tanks will fix approximately 1 ton of CO2 every day! Alpha 3 CMP™ are more efficient agents for CO2 removal than trees. Our only bi-product is OXYGEN!

6) Safety and Quality assurance…guaranteed!

Alpha 3 CMP™ is tested after each harvest for: yeast, mould, bacteria, e-coli, staphylococcus, salmonella, heavy metals, and arsenic at a licensed third party laboratory that has been granted their Site License Number issued through Health Canada. Each and every batch continues to meet the strict guidelines set forth by Health Canada since its launch in 2005.

This is my story about Marine Phytoplankton, a Nutrient Dense Wholefood, and how it has helped me with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

Also covering how Marine Phytoplankton is for Everyone, we are all dealing with nutrient depleted food, thus the high percentage of over weight, obesity and illness in this country.

See here for a report about our nutrient depleted soils, Why we are Nutrient Depleted and need Superfoods.

The cells are not getting what they want, so they keep asking us to feed them more.

Plus are processed food is filling us with toxins, making us ill.

Marine Phytoplankton gives are cells everything they need to build a perfect cell, remove toxins and rebuild the body and immune system.

I weighed 182 when I started using Marine Phytoplankton, now after 6 months of using marine phytoplankton and 4 months of being mostly Raw Vegan I have lost just over 30 pounds, without exercising, and now weigh 149 pounds. I Am Loving this !!! =)

The Truth About Marine Phytoplankton Jacques Cousteau once said, “The future of nutrition is found in the oceans.” What did he mean? How could the nutrients found in the ocean possibly be more beneficial than those found on land? To better understand the value of marine nutrients, we first must understand a few key principals about marine phytoplankton. For the first part of this discussion, an understanding of a few terms will help simplify what is an intricate process. For years scientists have studied various forms of ocean nutrients using terminology that to them is somewhat interchangeable; however, as these nutrients have found their way to our shelves companies have continued to use certain terms as though they were still in the lab. Below is a list of common terms followed by a brief summary of how access to the nutrition from the ocean can greatly enhance our health and well being. Definition of essential terms:

Biome: A biome is a major group of distinctive plant and animal communities. A biome is made up of ecosystems. There are two fundamental classifications of biomes: 1. Terrestrial (land) biomes and 2. Aquatic (water) biomes Aquatic biomes: The organisms responsible for primary production in all aquatic ecosystems are known as “phytoplankton.” These miraculous microscopic organisms not only form the base of life in our oceans, but also produce up to 90% of the oxygen in our atmosphere. Notice we did not use the term “plankton” or “algae”. This is where an interchanging of terms usually creates confusion among many consumers. “Algae” is one of the most misused terms in the consumer markets partly because in science, the term “algae” can refer to any plant in a wet environment without true roots or leaves. With such a broad definition as “wet environment” distinctions between marine, freshwater or even land based algal growths are often misrepresented. Often the terms “microalgae” and “macroalgae” are used in an attempt to distinguish between microscopic organisms such as phytoplankton and larger organisms such as seaweed or kelp. Although these terms have helped, much confusion still exists. A good rule of thumb states that all phytoplankton are classified as microalgae, but not all microalgae occur in phytoplankton. As you will read below, there are roughly a dozen different classes of phytoplankton. Just as “algae” has a broad definition, so does phytoplankton. Among the various classes of phytoplankton you find marine, freshwater and terrestrial based species. So, just because someone labels a product microalgae or phytoplankton the reality of what they are using is usually different.

Marine Phytoplankton, the Most Nutrient Dense Wholefood on the Planet

Over the last 50-75 years our soils have slowly become depleted. We can no longer rely on our normal diet to supply the RDA of the vitamins and minerals our bodies need. Nutrients such as vitamins, proteins, enzymes and amino acids, are required for our bodies to function properly. These nutrients are dependent upon minerals. Minerals are predominantly obtained from the food we eat, and the mineral content of that food is dependent upon the mineral content of the soil it grows in. Add to that the increase in pollutants and toxins entering our food from our environment and you have a severe shortage of optimal health and well being. It is no wonder there is an obesity epidemic and untold amounts of disease in our culture. We have been able to track and study the mineral levels in our soil and in our foods for about one hundred years. As early as 1936 (Senate Document 264) we recognized that our soils were becoming depleted. According to Senate Document 264 (1936) it states: ‘The alarming fact is that foods (fruits, vegetables and grains) now being raised on millions of acres of land that no longer contain enough of certain minerals are starving us – no matter how much of them we eat. No man of today can eat enough fruits and vegetables to supply his system with the minerals he requires for perfect health because his stomach isn’t big enough to hold them.’ The 1992 Earth Summit soil mineral depletion report showed soil depletion in North America to be at 85 percent, the highest in the world. Nutrition in this country is just like global climate change. Economics play a larger role in decision making than planning for our children?s futures. There are two reasons are soils have become so depleted and the nutritional value of our foods have fallen. One, is that today?s agriculture does not allow to regenerate the soil. We rely on chemical fertilizers to only replace three or four minerals. Phosphorous, Potassium and Nitrogen are the main ingredients in our fertilizers. The second reason our foods are less nutritious than fifty years ago is that fruits and vegetables are picked while they are still green and have not have the chance to extract all of the nutrients from the soil. They are harvested green so that they ripen on the way to market (your grocery store.) Many times fruits and vegetables have to travel thousands of miles from farm to factory and finally to the store. They are harvested while still green to enable them to last longer in storage, but it also leaves insufficient time for the plant to fully absorb whatever minerals are available in the soil, and to synthesize vitamins and other nutrients. The ripening process continues, cut off from the soil and sun, in box and storage depot, often for weeks, resulting in further losses of vitamins and other essential nutrients. All of this results in mineral deficient bodies, from which comes an abundance of health problems and degenerative diseases. A few of the major symptoms and illness linked to mineral deficiencies are osteoporosis, bone and muscle weakness, lack of focus and energy, glucose intolerance, poor wound healing, poor hair, skin and nails, and liver problems. A lack of minerals can also lead to weight gain, as a deficiency leaves your body craving minerals and never feeling satiated. Found this report here, ronakorn’s Blog.

This is why we need Superfoods. The best superfood is one that has everything in it. To do that you need to get close to the base of our food chain. Marine Phytoplankton is the base of our food chain, which makes it our Top Choice. It is simple and obvious, it has everything in it that our cells need to build a perfect cell, and rebuild our body and immune system.

The main products in FrequenSea with Marine Phytoplankton, are Sea products. These organisms are said to be the origins of organic life. They are the most nutritious products on Earth, and they have been billed as “the future of human nutrition” (Jacques Costeau). Life on Earth is made possible because of its atmosphere, and its topsoil. Earth’s atmosphere and its topsoil were formed by microorganisms inhabiting our oceans, wherefrom all life originated. Scientists at NASA theorize that about 3.5 million years ago, tiny oceanic microorganisms marked the beginning of life on Earth. These microorganisms are commonly known as “algae” and “plankton.” Besides producing enough gases to form our atmosphere, and enough micronutrients and minerals to form our topsoil, these tiny organisms are rich and nutritious enough to feed huge mammals, such as whales. Marine Phytoplankton are tiny open-water plants, animals or bacteria. The name, like the word planet, is derived from a Greek root that means, “wanderer,” or “floating life.” These organisms range in size from microscopic bacteria and plants to larger animals, such as jellyfish. Marine Phytoplankton generally have limited or no swimming ability and are transported through the water by currents and tides. Until now, people could not readily obtain such rich super- foods. Through years of research, Sea Farms can now grow these microorganisms in large quantities. These state of the art facilities allow the production of something very unique for you to maximize your health. The Marine Phytoplankton produced at Sea Farms is not cyanobacteria, but true micro-algae or Marine Phytoplankton in its many form sand species. This, along with Sea Farm processing makes their product totally unique in the world.
