New Product Video Highlights for New Year’s 2011 – We the People & Final Warrior

We have a handful of new items in for New Year’s this year and we wanted to highlight of couple of them. Take a look and let us know what you think:

We the People

We the People is a fan-shaped, 2-level, mine and shell item with 38 shots. It starts with a row of red and blue star mines with white glitter; followed by a row of red and blue horse tail breaks with white glitter; then a row of white glitter shells with red and blue stars. It fires the entire sequence twice.

Last Warrior

Last Warrior features a unique “horse tail” aerial break. It fires 6 volleys of 6 shells. The first 5 volleys are multi-colored horse tail breaks with white glitter. The final 6 shot finale features 6 larger breaks of multi-color stars with white glitter.

Last Minute New Fireworks!

We have a late shipment of new fireworks in, just in time for the 4th! Since we probably won’t get all of the pictures for these done in time to have them up on the website by the 4th, we thought we would post a picture of all the new items here with some brief descriptions.

Battle Cry is a new 3″, 9 shot from World Class with large silver breaks.
Fist Full of Power is another World Class item. It has been out for a couple of seasons, but it’s new for us. It’s a great upper-end 200 gram item.
Beware has also been around for a while, but it’s out first year carrying it, and it will quickly become a customer favorite. It’s also an upper-end 200 gram repeater with nice color bursts.
GTX 3300 has a ridiculous looking label, but it’s effects are top notch - like all of Cutting Edge’s 500 gram line.
Colossal Pride not only has a great label, but really nice red’s and blue’s..another great 500 gram from Cutting Edge.
Monster Bashing is an upper-tier 200 gram cake from Cutting Edge with lots of color and glitter.
Last, but not least, is Brocade Crown. Brocade Crown has a bit of a mis-leading name, because it has alot of other effects, other than brocades. It is, however, a good performer, and a great value item as well with a price point under $12.00!

5% Early Order Discount Ending & 2011 Updates

Things are starting to pick up around here as we head into April, so we wanted to update everyone on a few things. First off, the last of our Early Order Discounts for wholesale orders ends on Thursday at midnight EST! So, if you are planning on taking advantage of the extra 5% off, do so soon!

New fireworks are rolling in now! We have a good amount of inventory already in stock (well ahead of last year at this point), and expect to be almost fully stocked by the first week of May. The only exception to that may be some late items from Brothers.

Freight rates for this year are going to be great for wholesale customers. As of right now, they are down between 5%-15% over last year, depending on the freight lane and carrier. As fuel goes up, some of that may be offset a little as we get further into the summer. For retail customers, our base rates are the same as they have been for the last few years; this means higher fuel surcharges will push our retail shipping rates up this summer. Rates are going to be updated on April 15th, and then re-evaluated every week based on current fuel prices through the summer months. Orders placed before April 15th will not be affected.

We will post more updates as new product arrives, as well as some pictures of some of the new fireworks!

Early Order Discounts Start Today!

Today kicks off our early order discounts for 2011! During the entire month of February, wholesale orders will receive an additional 10% off (on top of the standard quantity discounts). All of our new fireworks for 2011 have been added to the website, and all products have been made available to order regardless of their stock status. Orders with backordered products will ship in full when all items are in stock, unless otherwise specified. Order early for best price and selection!

Warehouse Shopping Hours for New Year’s Eve

Our warehouse in Orange Park, FL will be open Monday, December 27th – Friday, December 31st: 10:30AM – 6:30PM for New Year’s Eve fireworks sales. These hours will also apply to online customers who choose to pickup their order at our facility.
All shipping operations will continue as normal for online orders.

Blog Blast Special – Quake!

Our first Blast special is a 500 gram repeater by Brothers, called Quake. Quake features 9 big shells with assorted effects. It is a really nice cake, with big bursts that border on being “Finale Rack” size. As most of you know, Superior Fireworks is not just a seasonal fireworks company. We are open for business year-around. As such, we get new inventory in regularly. When planning this blog, one of the things we really wanted to do was offer specials to our blog readers that purchase throughout the year. We decided to bring in a few items on each shipment that are only available here on our blog at a discounted price! We will refer to these specials as “Blasts”. Once a Blast item is sold out, it’s gone for good, so you will have to check back regularly for new items. These fireworks will not be listed anywhere else on our website, except here. You can check the Sales & Specials category for new Blasts as they come available. Some Blasts will be available for both retail and wholesale customers, and some will be retail only. New wholesale discount structure!

Our wholesale discount table has been updated for the fall 2010 – summer 2011 seasons. The new discount rates are as follows:

$1,500-$3,499 5%
$3,500-$5,999 10%
$6,000+ 15%

As many of you will notice, this change brings significant threshold reductions on our 10% and 15% discount levels. The new rates are effective immediately, so get over to the wholesale section of our website and start planning your New Year’s fireworks order today!

20″ Wedding Sparklers are here!

Our 20″, Wedding Sparklers have been in stock for a couple of months now, but we wanted to highlight this item since the fall wedding season is in full swing. We get a lot of requests for 20″ gold sparklers for use at weddings, so we decided to go ahead and design a really nice wedding-themed box for our 20″ bamboo sparklers. The bamboo sparklers burn slightly smokier than the wire sparklers, but they still last for about 120 seconds, and are considerably less expensive than their wire counterparts. We sell them on our Superior Celebrations website in packs of 144 sparklers, for $49.10 with free shipping. As a final note, starting in spring 2011, we will be offering both wire and bamboo sparklers in our wedding boxes. The wire version will probably be a slight variation of the bamboo box.
