A glimpse into the culture of of American Skinheads.

This is a compelling photo story, giving the audience a glimpse into something that’s practically adjacent to their own lifestyles, yet they manage to remain completely oblivious to it. It’s important that stories exist that can transcend suffering and misfortune. Not to disparage any story that deals with human suffering, but there are many of the mind who believe that is the only way one can commit “real” photojournalism. Words from the author:


“Some may say that I’m humanizing these people; I challenge that whole-heartedly. Would you rather see a bias view or something that was recorded just as it happened without personal opinion attached to it? You are free to make up your own mind; to me this is what photojournalism is all about.”
