Yup it was Monday. It is Tuesday now and I finally got around to posting on this blog. Yeah so sue me. I was going to write something better here in this space and yet I find myself transfixed but the number of new tweets on Twitter right at this very moment. I can’t help myself I have to go and check the new tweets. Just another new way to get even more addicted to twitter. Is that even possible. Yes, I can send updates to twitter from my phone but not to facebook. I am not a complete dork, just a partial one.

Life is pretty good lately. There is something special going on it just seems like things are falling into place in some aspects of my life and that is a good feeling. Maybe 2009 won’t be a wash of a year after all. I had off of work today and I was lazy and damn it felt good, especially coming off a 6 day work week. I took a lot of naps, I don’t know why but napping just felt like the right thing to do.

No whacky dreams, in fact no dreams at all, at least not that I can remember. Hold one now there 47 tweets to attend to, maybe I should exit twitter all together but I can’t help myself. Who knows maybe one of those tweets have my fate sealed. I guess I should find out. Okay checked the tweets one good haiku and there is nothing that will change my life. Ugh I hate that when that happens.

Well that is enough rambling for one evening. Maybe next time I won’t be gone away for so long. I still have two more blogs to update but I have nothing really to write in them yet so maybe something will come about tonight or tomorrow.

Note to self- stick a fresh, un drawn notebook in the jeep and leave for work early and write, write and write some more until your arthritis flares.

Drinking Water

Before I went on a real diet there is one thing I tried to suppress appetite and that is drink water like it is going out of style. The only problem with this is I hate drinking water and I became bored. Sure, I didn’t eat but my stomach sounded like a water bed and I peed all the time. It was annoying and I only lasted on day on the water craze. I just couldn’t do it.

Just Another Day in Paradise

I can not wait for tomorrow to be over. Tomorrow will be my day 6 and then I get off of work for one day and then work then off another day. These 6 day stretches are killer.

I worked till ten the last two nights and it has been pleasant no was there nagging me asking me what I was doing or how long I have been doing something. It is so annoying.

Christmas is coming upon us faster then I would like. I am kind of hoping for the Christmas cheer to reach me though because I want to be in a good mood. That is easier said than done.

I know this is a very short post but right now I don’t have very much to write. I am a little tired and I have some stuff to do.

Thinking about a Plasma

If I had the money, I would get a new television. There is nothing wrong with the one I have I just would like a plasma tv. I am sure plasma tvs will be on sale hard core for Black Friday and even if I had that money I don’t know if I can part with it. Even for a Black Friday deal you are still looking at a couple of hundred dollars. We will see on the other hand my parents can give me their old one and buy themselves a new one!

A Halloween Story

Several years ago before Sunshine, we didn’t really think about Halloween. Not only that in the town of State College, they hold trick or treating on a different night than Halloween. Which I think is really stupid but whatever. I don’t think it is trick or treating unless it is on Halloween but then again I am old school.

Okay lets move on with the story. So we are living in the town of State College when all of a sudden we hear a knock at the door. Pappy opens the door and there are two little kids standing in wal-mart special Halloween costumes. Could it really be possible that we had our porch light with out thinking that it was trick or treating time? Yeah I guess it was.

Pappy tells the kids to hold on and shuts the door. He frantically looked for something to give the kids and there he finds it. It is a large bag of spice drops. Opening the door, the kids hold open their bags. He drops the bag of spice drops in the one kid’s bag and asks is he will share. The kid nods and say thanks.

While this is all happening, the boyfriend and I are laughing hysterically. We are laughing so hard we are holding our pee. We still tease pappy about the big bag of spice drops he gave those kids.

Drying the Hands

I know what is better for the environment and that is using hand dryers. I know this, I probably preach this but you know what I do? I use the paper towels. I have issues with some hand dryers. Have you ever gone to the bathroom and there are no paper towels and you use the dryer and it doesn’t dry your hands. Sure, it might dry your hands 3 years later when it is a lot faster to wipe your hands on your pants and carry on with your day. I am guilty of that. When there are no paper towels at work, I just wip my hands on my pants and move along. Those hand dryers at work are for the pits, they never seem to dry your hands, maybe they should get new ones. Of course, they might be trying to save electricity because I am sure they just use so much electricity.

I Wonder Why

I just don’t why skinny people have to take weight loss pills. I am thinking they have some kind of disorder but they say otherwise. This one girl I know, she takes them because she claims she gets energy from them and she can’t function with out them. She is a nice person and all but I think there is something in her head making her diet pills. I ask her why she doesn’t drink those energy drinks or drink a lot of coffee and she says the pills work better for her. What do you think?
