Being a stay at home mom, I sometimes got bored with the routinely things I do at home. Chores, and cooking meals for my family. Although, there is one thing that I never get bored with, being our son. As he grows bigger and more independent every day, there are times that he would rather play by himself. I do respect that, and those are the days I get so bored and couldn't think of anything else.

I have been thinking last night, on what to cook for today's meal. I don't have anything new in my mind. Cookbooks are super nice to have, however sometimes I just want to prepare a simple and quick meal. Asked my hubby before he left for work, on what would he like for dinner. A very not helpful response was 'Don't know when will I be home'. That means, they are getting started to be way too busy at awning place.

Now, I am stocked here. Still thinking what to make for dinner. Something new, and something good. My mind is still empty and has no ideas. Would you like to help me out? It would be my pleasure to get ideas from you.

It isn't done yet, nor near to get finish. However, hubby is trying his best to finish the furnishing within this month. Got already ask for an extension from the bank mortgage, and plus he misses more time with us. Although, it is for a greater good he has to sacrifice some of this time in order finish the house.

Never gets contented

If you visited my page often, you would know exactly from the title of the post why I have named it "Never gets Contented". I know that is me, I would like to get what I wanted, although it might takes a little while for the decision to be made. I still have do make sure that I get what needs and sometimes wants. From a very nice template, I prefer and choose a very simple one.

If you can remember, I been wanting to have a reply button on my 'comments' area. Now matter what template I used it never had any. Nevertheless, choosing the one blogger has is absolutely pretty quick. I do hope when I pick out a new template, the 'reply' button stays on.

For now, I do hope it motivates you to read more about my articles while looking at a simple background.

Yes, after church with my friend this morning, we headed to a flea market thinking there might be nice things there. Unfortunately, nothing! The road is way to quite, I know it is a family day or rest day for everyone. But I kid you not, I told my friend that I'm way bored here than in Philippines. I feel like, I am already tired of a US life, nothing much to do except work...work...and work... Although, I didn't go back to work, but I could just feel it.

We didn't stayed out that long before we decided to go home and hang out with your families. Not too good for me, it is just me and my son who is hanging out today for our dear father/husband is super busy fixing the other house.

I have found another application in my iPod touch in regards to earning points and exchanging them with gift cards. It is very easy to do, since I have always carried the device with me, whenever I have the chance to check it and earn more points, the faster I earned up and gather it.

I was happy for the very first time, I got a $10 Old Navy eGiftcard, I can take it to the store if I want to buy in the store or simply I can also use it online too. So, here it is the proof and fruit of my labor. Although, it is not that big, who else on earth is giving you free stuff, whereas you can do it easily and since you are always on the computer, then might as well do something worth it.

The house were we are going to move in

This is the future house we are moving in. I am not sure if I was able to blog about this, however if was doubled I don't remember.

This is just the other part of the place. It was a two lot, and yes I have a very big backyard that I dreamed to have. That way I could plant my flowers, vegetables during summer and have a nice landscape around the house.

For now, we are more concern about the inside, we have to finish the renovation or else the we need to ask for extension to the bank again. Hubby is pretty much exhausted because he is the only one who work in the house aside from his other sibling and someone. I would love to help but the problem is we can't bring our little bundle in the house, just way to dangerous for him inside. Can't rely to my hubby's siblings [some of them] that's why I am upset that I can't help him when I needed too.

However, God is so good, we met a family here the wife is Filipino and they have one son. I am very thankful that they understand and willing to watch our son while we fix the house. Very grateful for this family, kind heart people. Nevertheless, we also won't want to take advantage of their kindness. So, I truly can't help my hubby every night.

Mother in law's Birthday

I was just an ordinary day. Didn't exactly know what is going on later on for my Mother in law's birthday. I wasn't really used to the fact of going out for a dinner in the restaurant with the whole family. I was raised to a homemade celebration, where you hang out talked more and ends the party with some small dish we make. But then again, it is a different culture and traditions, I don't want to interfere the way they had it.

Got here by my sister in law, cause hubby has to be out from work very late. When we got there, didn't know that we were the only one they waited for. Too embarrassing huh! However, it is very difficult not to have your own driver's license. Cause getting a cab here is way expensive.

Had, fish fry and most of the family members where there. After and an hour and half there, we were finished our dinner and each went home.

Homemade Mac and Cheese

I have been a fan of cooking/baking lately and one of those meals I made was from scratch. Meaning, I make them from the recipe my Mother in law gave me last Christmas. I wanted to make a different meal everyday, that way my family would love to eat different taste and not the routinely foods.

So, today I make Mac and Cheese and baked it after I cook and mix the ingredients. This was the very first time I made this, yet I was so happy for it turned out 'Perfect'.

Some of the updates with the house we are working. It is very slow because we are the only one who updates the house and since hubby had work in the morning, he only worked at the house after his job. I would love to help, unfortunately it is very hard to have your little one with you. Can't really concentrate working because of the dust, and the dangerous place. It isn't a kid zone for now.

As I have previously mentioned about the moving to a new house pretty soon. Here are some of the improvements that we did in the house. It is slowly but surely, although I wanted to help as much as I can, it is pretty hard to have a 2 years old with you. Wandering around the place while you are trying to finish as much painting as you can.

Multitasking is what I always do when I have the assignment in that house. I have to watch my kid not to get harm and making sure he won't be leaning against the wall where I have already painted. It is double work for me, but at the same time, it is something I can help to my hubby.

This is the other side of the bedroom...not too wide but good for one kid for now...

Pink was the previous color of this room, for the last look before I covered the whole thing with the new one we got.

This is another set of the freebies I got one day. As I mentioned before, I got addicted into signing up for a freebies and it is great to get something that could at least help you out with the money you spend with the grocery. Although, the freebies isn't a full bulk to get at least getting them one at a time makes us save a little.

There are so many legitimate websites where you could sign up for a freebies. But you also see that you are not giving out your full information for we have to beware with an identity theft.

For me, I might be able to check it later once I am done checking out for legit freebies online.

I was surprised to get this box in the mail one day. I knew that I have signed up for a freebies before and couldn't remember when was it. Until I just got a box in the mail. I was happy, because it was heavy meaning there were assorted freebies inside. Samples for every product they have. Coupons that could help us save some money, when we buy this product without paying the full price.

While I was inside the bathroom, what caught my attention from the outside was our tree branches. It has more leaves sprouting. So, I took a snap for this moment until seeing the whole branch full of leaves.

I do love the nature, just gives us so many Wow's and makes me live my life longer. I wanted to do something that could help preserve the nature as much as I can. Especially today's modern world. There are so many things that triggers on damaging the nature. However in order to continue a greener environment better start it at home. He is such a Mama's Boy

The most precious gift I have in my life is having a son. I love kids as far as I can remember. And it never stops. I was also pretending that I am pregnant because I have seen my sister in laws on how amazing they look like with a baby inside their belly. It is a gift to be pregnant, baring the kids that you wanted the most.

Now, that I finally have my own flesh and blood son, I still love my nieces and nephews just like my son. The joy is incomparable and priceless I will never exchange this kind of happiness over something else. For the joy your kids gives you beats nothing else.

So, this starts my son being a Mama's boy. He is very much attached to me and I love it too. Because I can teach him values that my parent's taught me. Him being close to me is a good thing that I can help him and support him on doing the right way. Although, the frustrations never goes away, it is a part of being a parent.

Sleepless nights, because they get sick and you wish that it is you who had their sickness in order for them to feel better and never experience pain for such a young age. But then again, that is how why build up their immunity, being expose to harmful bacterias and virus helps their body's immune system to fight for it and will get use to it, in order for their body to know it.

Since the time I could remember. I sleep very late at night. I do take a naps though in the afternoon, so that's probably given myself a hard time to fall asleep at night. It was fine before when I was still in college. Because I have so many home work and thesis to be done. It was like I am a person at night and not at day. Sounds familiar huh, no I am not a vampire. Because I do exist in the morning, this only happens when I took an afternoon nap.

And for some reasons, I do love to take naps too while I was younger. I wish to even fall asleep for the rest of my life, but not death. And then a prince will come and give my my first kiss to be awaken from a very long sleep. Okay! I must be dreaming here with my fairy tale dream. However, I think it is not bad to still have those fairy tales dreams with you.

After having late night sleeps. I told myself to cut off the afternoon naps so I won't have any trouble falling asleep at night. Sometimes, it does work and sometimes it won't. It's really not good too laying on your bed with your mind wide open. Trying to get some sleep in order to wake up early on the next day. I was having trouble, however I was happy to find out that there is some solutions to some minor problems. I am very happy and excited to get my own freebies if I know what website has a freebies. I love it even more if it is a free Cards. That means, I don't need to pay to give cards to my love ones. One thing that I like to do is sending out cards to my family and friends occasionally.

Good Breakfast

I have a very good breakfast one morning. When I decided to bake sweet sticky rice that has a caramelized coconut milk toppings. I bake them after I cook to make sure that it will be best for my taste. It was a very good breakfast I must say. I was wondering when will this desert be last?

I was also surprised when one time, my son came to me and pointed to what I was eating. I gave him this desert before, apparently he doesn't like the taste. I tell you the taste is sweet because of the toppings. However, the color of the rice is more sticker than that normal one.

Anyway, when I feed a half spoon in his mouth, he starts chewing it slowly and you can tell that he likes it for he didn't spit it out. He swallowed it right away and pointed it back, meaning he wants more. I am happy for him because this is one of my culture's delicacy and he loves and hopefully when he grows older he will still love this desert.

This was last Palm Sunday, when we didn't able to get to the church for the once a year event. For Catholics it is very important to follow this kind of event. I was really guilty of missing the said event. However, I was still thankful although it is not in person, yet I was able to participate with the mass. Through a live Mass. I am happy, although there were so many distraction in the house yet I still feel that I am within them.

I could make it into a fullscreen but it will look blurry for the megapixel of the video is not higher I think. It might be small to look at, nevertheless the main focus was that you have participated in the Eucharist. Thanks to the online technology.

I want to thank this website for having this kind of features that way, I won't be able to miss Sunday Masses again. Although, I would still prefer to go to church. I will make sure that once I have a driver license then, I have no excuse not to be go to church.

I did have a wonderful Sunday. I feel like my Spirit were filled again. I feel like life is not all hard as long as our Creator is in the center of me. Renovations

Me and hubby were been busy lately due to the renovation we are doing in the future house we are buying. Although, it isn't in our names yet, however updating the said house would be a good way before we move in. I am in-charge when it comes to painting and decorations. So, I can call myself a carpentry student. We decided to do it ourselves in order to save money.

Sometimes, it would not be faster than we want it too because hubby has work in the morning. So, after work we go to the house to fix as much as we can. And it is not like 5 minutes drive, it takes at least 10 to 15 minutes or more if we need to go to a store to buy what we needed.

So, if you are in the process of renovations and would like to make the work done faster. You can certainly look for a painters and decorators professionals. I am sure it might only takes at least 1 month or lesser for the things done.

I am sure, I am not the only one here who were annoyed with this unrelated websites that just automatically pops up when you opened a new window, from the website you visited. I never like too, because aside from it is annoying it is also dangerous to our computers. That is right, if you aren't aware about it will harm your computer's software because it will automatically installed malicious and phishing internet pages.

What if your kid browse her homework then all of a sudden this new window pops up and seen this unnecessary pages? It is better to have popup blocker before it is too late and corrupted your child's mind.

Getting a ad blocker for your computer is something necessary in order to have a smooth internet surfing and get your software away from harm too.

It is a Palm Sunday! My family and I together with my sister in law Michelle, decided to paint the house that soon we are going to buy. Michelle is not moving with us, she's always been there helping my husband fixing the house. We are both glad to the effort that she spared helping us to this house. And today, instead of just be inside the house relaxing, we all both went to paint and do something to the house. Although, it will still takes awhile before we finish everything. Better to do it slowly and surely then, wait for the closing of the bank.
