Cheese sticks are probably one of the easiest snacks to make.  It can be done in four easy steps, with your kid doing the prep work.

Ingredients:

- Cheese (we used Kraft Eden's Singles)

- Lumpia wrapper

- Oil for deep frying

Utensils:

Knife

Frying Pan

Procedure:

1. Cut the lumpia wrapper in half.
2. Slice the cheese (half inch to one inch).

I was not an Apple fan.  I don't line up for hours to get their newest gadget nor do I turn green with envy every time someone sports them.  I don't oohhh nor ahhhh every time I borrowed someone's Apple gadget just to get the feel of it.  Let me reiterate, I was not an Apple fan.  Until about a year ago.

My first Apple gadget - the iPod Touch

I bought my first Apple machine last year.

Luxury hotel.  In my book, this means, a hotel with a great view, a huge and comfy bed, plus wonderful fluffy pillows. It should also have a big comfort room with a bath tub, a hot and cold shower and all the toiletries you need. Housekeeping should be done at least every other day.  And towels should be changed every so often.  A working desk is a must and TV should be there to keep me company

The Spiral Buffet is by far the most extensive buffet I've ever been too. But I really haven't been to many so I might be wrong.By
extensive I mean, variety, variety, variety. It also has the most
impressive dessert buffet. Being a sweet tooth that I am, I am totally
cool with just this side of the buffet table. More about this later.
We're
not really allowed to take pictures of the buffet

It wasn't a normal lunch. For one, all the department heads in our division would be eating together. That's a good thing. The better part was we wouldn't be shelling out a single centavo. But the best detail by far was the fact that it was really a treat by ABS-CBN's President Ms. Charo Santos-Concio for a job well done. The lunch date was set at the Bagoong Club in Quezon City. A New Version Kitkat

Have you ever tasted a Kitkat?  Yes, the one from Nestle with the red wrapper.  Well, it's milk chocolate coated wafer.  Not bad for a quick sugar shot.  I think it's one of the best milk chocolate coated wafer in its price range until my friend gave me a green Kitkat.  Read: GREEN Kitkat.  It's green tea flavored.  It's good.  It has this monotony- breaking taste.  It's

Three-of-a-Kind

Revel bar, cream cheese brownie, food for the gods - thick, chewy slabs all for P100. It would be sinful to finish all three in one sitting. I found a very viable solution. One square divided by four. Get 1/4 of each then share the rest. These Medchef's pastries are good and reasonably priced. 35 a piece or 3 for 100. You can even choose to mix and match. Brownies or cookies

The Hot Chick in Town

My daughter is not a fan of chicken joy or chicken mcdo. But she has an ongoing love affair with Mang Inasal's chicken. Given the wide array of chicken meals to choose from, she shunned the usual deep fried chicken, fat-laden fare and decided to go to the less sinful of them all - barbecued chicken.

She's such an adult this way. I wouldn't have picked better. Mang

Heavenly Truffles

Today is August 7, 2011. To say that up to this time I haven't tasted a chocolate truffle as pure as Truffettes de France is just me being truthful.
Without apprehension or doubt whatsoever, to me this truffle belongs to my elite list of chocolates to try before I die. Honestly, it's in the upper echelon. I couldn't possible say no. Without fail, even if I resolve not to,
