Oh God, its been forever since I put my hands on Photoshop. I'm slow and inefficient now, made a new sig for www.underconstrukt.com . It took me 2 and a half hours to finish it and I'm still not done. I remember when sigs used to take 10 minutes to make. Im losing my creative edge.

So I guess my Tekken addiction came back with so many new Tekken 6 trailers flooding out everywhere. Even dusted off my old PSP to juggle on the go. I dropped Julia for now because Online matches are so laggy and the net codes are messed up. She becomes to predictable and was costing me alot of points. Now I have to rely on Kazuya and Paul on T5DR until Tekken 6 drops. But before that I have to get fitted back into King of Fighters mode dropping out next month.

The Prodigy Concert

Woke up, got ready for a epic night.
Went out to Schaumburg to go eat at Mitsuwa then to The Stadium because I wasn't feeling Asian Cuisine and Andy and Marija went to go drink. They got a 15 dollar beer that looked thick as shit. Didn't look that appealing.

Rode out to Congress theater and found parking 6 blocks away. As we we're walking toward the theater we had a sudden urge to pee. I sparked a blunt and we walked around looking for a bathroom. We got to a CVS and I guess security blocked off the lot so people don't park there for the concert. Great, tossed the blunt and used the bathroom. Went back to the theater and waited in line for a while. I hate having a ticket, biggest hassle in the world. I had to get IDed twice with a ticket and it just took forever. Got patted down and lost 2 of my good lighters (No smoking so they take your lighters). Found a table for the first half, just sat and chilled. Who the fuck is Brad Owens? Random DJ played for the longest time. He was killing me so I decided to go to the bathroom. Everyone was smoking in there, why the hell not? Bummed a light and chilled in the bathroom. Listening to everyone bitching that The Prodigy wasn't playing till 11:30 and is the sole reason why everyone was there. Security came in, I slipped by all slick while they kicked everyone out.

I came back to Brad Owens STILL playing. After a little while Tiga came on and everyone decided to go onto the floor. I'm still unsatisfied with the material being played. So I'm just chilling while Andy keeps buying me drinks. Went to the bathroom to spark a blunt. Nice people at the concert, they don't expect to get a head on the blunt even if they sparked you. Being the nice guy I am of course I share; It's The Prodigy, you gotta indulge.

Came back to some more Tiga and finally at 11:30 The Prodigy comes on. At first the casual jump to hand wave. That led to jump and head bang, Which ultimately left me doing the Firestarter dance uncontrollably. Kinda disappointed that I didn't hear Memphis Bells but I'm happy that they mixed both the original and Pendulum remix of Voodoo People.

When I got home I had a splitting headache and knocked out. When I woke up my neck was so sore I can barely move it right now.

The Prodigy - Invaders Must Die Review!

The Prodigy has been one of the most influential electronica groups around. From hard hitting bass lines to creative synth arrangements. It may be going out on a limb to say, due to the excellent body of work the band has amassed throughout the years, but "Invaders Must Die" could be the best they have released to date. This is the first album since 1997's to feature all three member's of the original band.

The new release marks the bands fifth studio album, their first in five years, since 2004's "Always Outnumbers, Never Outgunned" It has already hit the top ten charts with the hit single "Omen". UK radio host Zane Lowe also proclaimed it as one of the hottest records in the world.

'Invaders Must Die' is emphatically kicked off with 'We are Prodigy,' a statement that cements the band as back. The album, It's frenzied and uninhibited, powerful and alluring, and that's just it. This is a sexy record. It would be easily found playing around for the next decade making use practically anywhere.

One of the songs "Stand Up" gives you a great beat that could possibly sampled off Public Enemy. It give's great hype, allures you with hard hitting snares and bass. It sounds very different from everything else on the record and mixes in perfectly.

The Prodigy have gone back to their old style and have topped it. "Warrior's Dance" can be compared to "No Good" from the album "Music for the Jilted Generation". There’s also a slight eastern mood in the breaks – an echo, perhaps, of ‘Narayan’ from album three, ‘The Fat Of The Land’.

Lame/Chill weekend I guess
Friend got robbed, I got a ticket, Andy's going crazy; same ol same ol. Went out to play pool with Andy on Friday and went straight to my friends party. I got there late so the party was basically ending when I got there. With the few people that were left we chilled and I got a ticket on the way to Steak and Shake. Was going 50 on a 45 and the cop got me right when the road turned 35 even though it goes 35 for 50 feet then back to 45. Chilled all night and drove straight to an oil change and then crashed at the house.

Woke up went to go watch Andy shop then hit up Cheo Gu Jip. Korean Style Pizza and Fried Chicken, fuck ya. Went down to the pool hall again and played for a little bit until Eric came down and picked up drinks and chilled at the house. Drank, sessioned, SF4 and then 3rd Strike, more Session, more drinkage, Tekken, drinkage then sleep.

Woke up and played LBP with Andy and Eric, made chicken. Mako came down and we watched Face Off again, classic movie. Headed out to the pool hall, my perception is so fucking off at times...

Not much in the life of Mr Kim.

Brothers friends came down from Ohio on Friday, didn't do much sessioned 3 times, drank at night and watched Chocolate again. Watched the fight scenes again from Ip Man, I love the fight scenes. Sessioned again and 0my brothers friend Eric pretty much has planches , can start launch airflares, flares, and almost windmill. He's the bionic man, impressive as hell though.

Saturday woke up, El Burrito Loco and got me some Enchiladas. We went to Oakbrook, but I ended up leaving to get my haircut. Stopped by my old work to say hi to old co workers. Chilled with my old hyung I haven't seen in a while. Chilled with a old friend, sat at a cafe for a while and caught up and chilled with her friends. Went home to some SF4, more drinking, Facebreaker and Little Big Planet. Andy and K ended up knocking out early while me and Eric played Little Big Planet and getting some cheap laughs. Then we got into a chat coming from the PS3 graphics to cell procesor to computers to 2049 to Pirates of the Carribean to Processors to Digital Fortress to overclocking to robotsl; the list goes on. Fun times, just finished over left over beers and sitting here writing this. Hopefully something eventful happens today. If im feeling lazy and I dont feel like writing a new post, I'll just edit this post going into further details.

Splitting headache and I have no urge to sleep at all. Was working on this piece earlier for Randy because he wanted some type of space wallpaper for his Archos.

Not Bad For A 20 Minute Job.

Well now that I look at it, the clouds may seem a little to bright for the space setting. I had no ideas and Randy was pushing them out on me. Took around 30 minutes total, no cheating. All stock brushes, started from scratch, no filters. The original clouds I made 3 years ago that I came across in front of Randy and he wanted me to finish?

Ya, can't believe I actually finished something for once. I dunno if I like the dark ominous finish on the clouds. Maybe I'll have to make a sunny edition with the old color set.

Now I'm jonesing for a cigarette and I probably can't sleep because of hunger pains.

DAMNNN, haven't updated in a minute. So to show that I didn't get lazy and stopped posting; I made a new layout. Its clean and vivid unlike the old one, so hopefully I keep this one for a while. I don't have much to blog about at the moment, just filling a entry because of the layout change. Yes she is fully brushed and so are the clouds, took a bitch of a time to make.

Just work and chilling, nothing eventful has happened since the last entry. Release of Killzone 2 and Street Fighter 4 so I've been playing those, midnight runs to 7 11, work, smoke breaks, cruising, etc.

I haven't bboyed in a while, last time I sessioned with Andy and I think I actually got better and I haven't sessioned in a year. I haven't been doing art either, just a couple wallpapers, sigs, avatars here and there.

Hopefully I start doing blog entries on a daily basis again, I told myself I was going to do one, but kept putting it to the side. My last entry was February 10th.... Ya, procrastination for the mother fucking lose.

Oh Lawdy, I should clean my desk up but i've been to lazy. I dont think its as bad as on Thanksgiving.

I have packs of Marlboro Lights 72's and shits so weak its a nuisance, gotta smoke two at a time.

Now I saw the SFIV fight pads at Gamestop. I already own the Chun Li one for PS2, so getting it for PS3 is ftw right?Well, I dunno, these fuckers are wireless. that 1.1 millisecond response time could be enough time to pull of a hadouken. Holy shit I just typed hadouken and firefox didn't flag it as a spelling error. Hadouken must be in the fucking dictionary.
Anyways, I would want this one but seeing as its nothing special and just a splash image of Chun Li im not thoroughly impressed. That and the fact that its fucking wireless. Hopefully they come out with a Cammy one or someone's getting hurt.

I just made 2 wallpapers, Hinata and Cammy. Unless you want to rock these with the supplice tag on them. Get at me and I can personalize the wallpapers for you.

I'm rocking the Cammy one at the moment because the Hinata one was to bright for me. Just let me know if you want it personalized and some customization to it.

Now Hinata had some of the best moves in Capcom history. She had projectiles, air projectiles, a power super combo, shoto hurricane kick, hadoukens and shoyukens. She was the perfect character for me. I don't see why they dont add her to Street Fighter. Sakura made her way into Rival Schools, why not vice versa? Well I just found out if Hinata was 2D it would be fucking ridiculously unbalanced.

God damn I love her Super Combo. Shes fucking awesome. She hits harder than a fucking Tonka Truck.

So job hunting is fail at the moment, I know I'd be a bitch if I say its the economy but shit's hard right now. I took a side project so I don't get sick of Lucy. I came across paintings by Sylvia Ji and I fell in love.

Now I saw these and I thought the Día los Muertos style that she produces would look amazing on the famous Virgin de Guadalupe painting.

Blasphemy? Fuck that I'm Atheist. I started vectoring, I got really into it, I was sleep deprived and I haven't ate. I spent 7 fucking long hours vectoring the cowl and face until Illustrator went "Oh I'm going to be a bitch and delete your shit and shut down". Seven fucking long hours gone to waste. So in a hour and a half I redid what I had but it was rushed and it looks uber clunky.

Of course I'm not satisfied and why is our Virgin Mary naked? I have no fucking idea. But hope fully I can get this done soon and get it printed so Lucy is a top priority.

I was fixing my old computer and now I'm back in my place, my spot of spiritual isolation :D So I've been watching a bunch of movies and I'm really satisfied with what's coming out these days. So since I have Lightroom 2 and a bunch of more goodies on this computer, more flickage.

Now everyone knows I've been anticipating the release of Taken. I love that movie but it was lacking something. I can't put my finger on it; I doubt it's the fact that there was no Qui-Gonn Jin or a epic lightsaber battle. I do love the pace of the movie, beginning to end. The saltiness, the drama, the action and comedy. The camera movement was rather shaky and reminded me of scenes from Eagle Eye. All in all I think it was a VERY solid movie. Now I've been meaning to watch RocknRolla in theaters for the longest time, but I missed it and I'm quite dissapointed I did. This movie was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Guy Ritchie outdid himself and pushes RocknRolla above Snatch and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. For a Guy Ritchie movie it uses the generic plotline that he has always used. But the way this one is done gives a different experience from his past films. The story has many layers and twists and I loved it. RocknRolla is supposedly supposed to be a Trilogy and I'm hoping they're all going to be as good as the first. I have always wanted to make an intro like the one that was used in RocknRolla and I'm afraid that I will never come close to making one as outstanding as the one they produced. Killer Russian uber soldiers ftw.

This quote used in the movie was a scene that really made me love this movie.

Haven't updated in a while, Eric Koston and Mike Carroll have been beating my ass in a game of S.K.A.T.E. the whole time. I finally won today, took too god damn long. Other then that, haven't done much. I've just been chilling and being unproductive again. Haven't touched Lucy ever since i got Skate.
So, ya that's all I've been doing, but since I beat Koston and Carroll I'm going to be a lot more productive starting today. Now I just need a cigarette and some sleep.

An eventful day, stayed home, chilled, drive, pizza, now drawing Lucy. After so many rough sketches and ideas, I came up with some good ideas. I couldn't decide which one to choose, so I asked around and got no help. Then I asked my long lost daughter and she gave me a good idea.

Its still a concept and I think the pants are going to have some major rework also. I feel like it should be a little less baggy. Thinking making them more fitted canvas pants but worn low. Gloves? I think not. I left her body figure showing with a off white because this is going to be painted so the vest is probably not going to be white. Progress is coming, still thinking of tattoo designs. Oh ya, changed her highlights to pink again, not like its noticeable yet.

I'm in dire need of a new phone because of water damage so a lot of my keys aren't working I've been looking forward to getting the Blackberry Bold, but I used it and the keys kinda pissed me off. I was really disappointed, my contracts about over and I need a phone. I was going to get another Blackberry because of the BB Messenger function and stuff, but I find it pointless as everyone is leaving the Blackberry bandwagon. As I was looking around for a new phone I found this, but release dates and carriers weren't released for the U.S.

I need one nao. I'll probably end up waiting but I think it would be worth it. Everyone's getting the G1, Storm and Iphone at the moment. Throughout my lifetime I've only owned 3 phones. I don't get phone whores that switch every time a new one comes out.

Oil changes and haircuts today, nothing new happening.

Internets been down for a while, haven't had time to update. Drove Randy to court yesterday and just chilled all day. I have to make a design for his wall and paint it. The Parmesan garlic bone out wings at Pizza Hut are fracklin awesome with the natural pizza. Today the Skate 2 demo came out, looks promising. I've been waiting for it to come out for a couple months now.

So while I was taking everything off for the metal detectors at the courthouse, I forgot to take out my phone holster on my belt. When I took my belt off I lost it and everything seems harder than it should be. Not going to bother buying a new one because I need a new phone.

Haven't had real time to work on Lucy, I should probably start working on her again. The weathers kicking my ass, its been below freezing the whole week, it's -6°F right now. Probably going to stay there for a while, it's going to snow next week also.

Did not get anything done today, was fixing the pants and getting opinions from people. Until someone said the machete wasn't intimidating enough. I also got a numerous amounts of outfit suggestions. So far I think I'm going to keep what I've been working on. I still have to think of good tattoo designs, I'm looking for full arm sleeves if anyone has ideas. Here is the remastered machete.

Its a triple edged machete. The kanji in order says sorrowful warrior soul. Corny but I'm reworking the kinks, kanji is retarded to vector. I just wanted to get it finished as quick as possible, so hopefully I can change the design later. Maybe have a snake going across the whole blade. The pants are pissing me off and I think im just going to do the dunks and say im finished. Still have to think of colorways for the outfit also. T_T

Woke up early and sketched up outfit ideas for Lucy, these were the 3 I thought of in the beginning.
I had a lot more ideas but didn't think they would turn out good so I didn't sketch them. I was leaning towards the middle one, but since I'm planning on tatting arm sleeves on her I chose the tube top. I have a good design going at the moment but I think it's going to end with epic fail.

It has the new head on it and I still have to smooth out the pants and add the dunks. The pants are real time consuming. I'm dreading when I have to start doing the line art for the arm sleeves.

So there's a blizzard going on today, the first OFFICIAL blizzard in 13 years. Crazy shit, had to shovel 3 times today. Snow's stacking up pretty high its going up to my waist.

1. If your throat tickles, scratch your ear!
“When the nerves in the ear are stimulated, it creates a reflex in the throat that can cause a muscle spasm,” says Scott Schaffer, M.D., president of an ear, nose, and throat specialty center in Gibbsboro, New Jersey. “This spasm relieves the tickle.”

2. Experience supersonic hearing!
If you're stuck chatting up a mumbler at a cocktail party, lean in with your right ear. It's better than your left at following the rapid rhythms of speech, according to researchers at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. If, on the other hand, you're trying to identify that song playing softly in the elevator, turn your left ear toward the sound. The left ear is better at picking up music tones.

3. Overcome your most primal urge!
Need to pee? No bathroom nearby? You are male? Then fantasize...

4. Feel no pain!
German researchers have discovered that coughing during an injection can lessen the pain of the needle stick. According to Taras Usichenko, author of a study on the phenomenon, the trick causes a sudden, temporary rise in pressure in the chest and spinal canal, inhibiting the painconducting structures of the spinal cord.

5. Clear your stuffed nose!
The easiest, quickest, and cheapest way to relieve sinus pressure is to alternately thrust your tongue against the roof of your mouth, then press between your eyebrows with one finger. This causes the vomer bone, which runs through the nasal passages to the mouth, to rock back and forth, says Lisa DeStefano, D.O., an assistant professor at the Michigan State University college of osteopathic medicine. The motion loosens congestion; after 20 seconds, you'll feel your sinuses start to drain.

6. Fight fire without water!
Studies have shown that patients who sleep on their left sides are less likely to suffer from acid reflux. The esophagus and stomach connect at an angle.
When you sleep on your right, the stomach is higher than the esophagus, allowing food and stomach acid to slide up your throat. When you're on your left, the stomach is lower than the esophagus, so gravity's in your favor.

7. Cure your toothache without opening your mouth!
Just rub ice on the back of your hand, on the V-shaped webbed area between your thumb and index finger. A Canadian study found that this technique reduces toothache pain by as much as 50 percent compared with using no ice. The nerve pathways at the base of that V stimulate an area of the brain that blocks pain signals from the face and hands.

8. Make burns disappear!
When you accidentally singe your finger on the stove, clean the skin and apply light pressure with the finger pads of your unmarred hand. Ice will relieve your pain more quickly, Dr. DeStefano says, but since the natual method brings the burned skin back to a normal temperature, the skin is less likely to blister.

9. Stop the world from spinning!
One too many drinks left you dizzy? Put your hand on something stable. The part of your ear responsible for balance, the
cupula, floats in a fluid of the same density as blood.
“As alcohol dilutes blood in the cupula, the cupula becomes less dense and rises,” says Dr. Schaffer. This confuses your brain. The tactile input from a stable object gives the brain a second opinion, and you feel more in balance. Because the nerves in the hand are so sensitive, this works better than the conventional footonthefloor wisdom.

10. Unstitch your side!
If you're like most people, when you run, you exhale as your right foot hits the ground.
This puts downward pressure on your liver (which lives on your right side), which then tugs at the diaphragm and creates a side stitch, according to The Doctors Book of Home Remedies for Men. The fix: Exhale as your left foot strikes the ground.

11. Stanch blood with a single finger!
Pinching your nose and leaning back is a great way to stop a nosebleed if you don't mind choking on your own O positive. A more civil approach: Put some cotton on your upper gums just behind that small dent below your nose and press against it, hard.
“Most bleeds come from the front of the septum, the cartilage wall that divides the nose,” says Peter Desmarais, M.D., an ear, nose, and throat specialist at Entabeni Hospital, in Durban, South Africa. “Pressing here helps stop them.”

12. Make your heart stand still!
Trying to quell firstdate jitters? Blow on your thumb. The vagus nerve, which governs heart rate, can be controlled through breathing, says Ben Abo, an emergency medical services specialist at the University of Pittsburgh. It'll get your heart rate back to normal.

13. Thaw your brain!
Too much ice-cream too fast will freeze the brains of lesser men. As for you, press your tongue flat against the roof of your mouth, covering as much as you can. “Since the nerves in the roof of your mouth get extremely cold, your body thinks your brain is freezing, too,” says Abo. “In compensating, it overheats, causing an icecream headache.” The more pressure you apply to the roof of your mouth, the faster your headache will subside.

14. Prevent nearsightedness!
Poor distance vision is rarely caused by genetics, says Anne Barber, O.D., an optometrist in Tacoma, Washington. “It's usually caused by nearpoint stress.” In other words, staring at your computer screen for too long. So flex your way to 20/20 vision. Every few hours during the day, close your eyes, tense your body, take a deep breath, and, after a few seconds, release your breath and muscles at the same time. Tightening and releasing muscles such as the biceps and glutes can trick involuntary muscles like
the eyes into relaxing as well.

15. Wake the dead!
If your hand falls asleep while you're driving or sitting in an odd position, rock your head from side to side. It'll painlessly banish your pins and needles in less than a minute, says Dr. DeStefano. A tingly hand or arm is often the result of compression in the bundle of nerves in your neck; loosening your neck muscles releases the pressure. Compressed nerves lower in the body govern the feet, so don't let your sleeping dogs lie. Stand up and walk around.

16. Impress your friends!
Next time you're at a party, try this trick: Have a person hold one arm straight out to the side, palm down, and instruct him to maintain this position. Then place two fingers on his wrist and push down. He'll resist. Now have him put one foot on a surface that's a half inch higher (a few magazines) and repeat. This time his arm will cave like the French. By misaligning his hips, you've offset his spine, says Rachel Cosgrove, C.S.C.S., coowner of Results Fitness, in Santa Clarita, California. Your brain senses that the spine is vulnerable, so it shuts down the body's ability to resist.

17. Breathe underwater!
If you're dying to retrieve that quarter from the bottom of the pool, take several short breaths first essentially, hyperventilate. When you're underwater, it's not a lack of oxygen that makes you desperate for a breath; it's the buildup of carbon dioxide, which makes your blood acidic, which signals your brain that somethin' ain't right. “When you hyperventilate, the influx of oxygen lowers blood acidity,” says Jonathan Armbruster, Ph.D., an associate professor of biology at Auburn University. “This tricks your brain into thinking it has more oxygen.” It'll buy you up to 10 seconds.

18. Read minds!
Your own! “If you're giving a speech the next day, review it before falling asleep,” says Candi Heimgartner, an instructor of biological sciences at the University of Idaho. Since most memory consolidation happens during sleep, anything you read right before bed is more likely to be encoded as longterm memory.
