He is always with us and never leaves us. It is amazing the way He leads, guides, and directs us in the way He would have us go. Putting your faith in Christ is truly the way to live. To all things do unto the glory of God. Simple conversations between God and us is truly a wonderful way to communicate with our Saviour. Jesus wants us to talk with Him in our own way. Take time to talk with God today. He will lift you up to places you have never seen.

2 Thessalonians 1:1-12
1: Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
2: Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3: We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
4: So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
5: Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
6: Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
7: And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8: In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
10: When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
11: Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
12: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Never Alone

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

Never Alone

Sometimes,oh Lord, when I cannot pray,

I sit very still with nothing to say.

But never-the-less, I know you are there;

I whisper your name 'cause I know you care.

You know that I'm troubled with things on my mind,

And you know I've been weak, so often unkind,

But your spirit is with me,

right here in this home;

And I know that I never am walking alone.

Helen Parker

Matthew Chapter 28:1-20

1: In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

2: And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

3: His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

4: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

5: And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

6: He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

7: And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

8: And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

9: And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

10: Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

11: Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.

12: And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,

13: Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.

14: And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.

15: So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

16: Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

17: And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.

18: And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.

10: I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.

11: He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

12: I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.

13: And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.

14: I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

15: That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

16: And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.

17: I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

18: I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

19: For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.

20: All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.

21: Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? and who knoweth us?

16: Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?

17: Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest?

18: And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.

19: The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

20: For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:

21: That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.

22: Therefore thus saith the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale.

23: But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.

24: They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.

Walk with God and live

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

Let us ever grow in faith and never depart from it, as many have; but diligently seek to increase in the substance of our hope and evidence of things not seen.

The more our faith grows the greater the Power of God will be demonstrated in and by our lives.

Faith, like love, will diminish when not used; but increase when expressed.

Our faith is a living faith and like all living things, it will grow weak due to the lack of exercise.

The more we use our faith, the stronger our faith will become.

Living things cannot be stored on a shelf, but must be integrated into the environment to grow.

Likewise love, faith and hope, which are alive, must be integrated into our lives in order to grow.

Walk with God and live. and what communion hath light with darkness?

15: And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16: And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17: Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

18: And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Christians attacked in Pakistan-VOM

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

Christians attacked in Pakistan; VOM staff providing help

Dear VOM Friends:

It was just a rumor. But among the radical Muslims in Pakistan's Gojra village, a rumor was enough of an excuse to kill.

When the rumor was broadcast from the loudspeakers on the minarets of local mosques, it became fact. As part of a wedding ceremony, the loudspeaker shouted, Christians tore pages from a Quran. Then they compounded the disrespect by walking on the shredded pages.

"Defend Islam!" The loudspeaker called. Muslims answered, rampaging through a Christian section of Gojra on Aug. 1. Eight Christians were killed, including women and children. More than 100 Christian homes were burned by a mob. The mob, which was estimated to be more than 20,000 people, also burned a church.

Five Hours Without Help

Emergency personnel did not reach Gojra for more than five hours. Christians were forced to use vegetable carts to move their dead and wounded to the hospital.

Responding to an international outcry, Pakistani government officials have now said no Quran was desecrated. The government promised to help rebuild the burned homes of Christian families.

Even before the government acted, contacts of The Voice of the Martyrs were in Gojra, offering comfort to the wounded and praying with the families of the dead. They continue to aid the village, including helping with some medical expenses, offering encouragement and pressing for a forceful government response.

Pray Blasphemy Laws Are Overturned

Christians in Pakistan hope these attacks can be a turning point. They are praying to God and pressing their government to overturn unjust blasphemy laws that are often a pretext to attack Christians.

They are also asking us to pray with them. Pray for Christians in Pakistan to be bold witnesses for Christ, despite threats. Pray for those wounded and left homeless by the brutal Gojra attacks. Pray for Muslims to come to know Jesus Christ in a personal way.

Send Help to Pakistan's Christians

For just $7 you can send an Action Pack to a Christian in Pakistan. ">Look especially at verses 8-10

1: And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

2: And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

3: And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4: And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6: And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7: For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8: All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9: Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

10: And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11: And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12: And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13: But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14: And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

15: When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16: Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

17: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19: And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20: But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22: And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

23: Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24: For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25: Behold, I have told you before.

26: Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

27: For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

28: For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

29: Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31: And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

32: Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34: Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

35: Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36: But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37: But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38: For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39: And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40: Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41: Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42: Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43: But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44: Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

45: Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

46: Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47: Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

48: But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

49: And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

50: The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

51: And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth

Psalms Chapters 115 & so is every one that trusteth in them.

9: O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.

10: O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.

11: Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.

12: The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

13: He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.

14: The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

15: Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.

16: The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

17: The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

18: But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD.

Psalms Chapter 116

1: I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.

2: Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

3: The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

4: Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

5: Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

6: The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

7: Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

8: For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

9: I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

10: I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

11: I said in my haste, All men are liars.

12: What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

13: I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

14: I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

15: Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

16: O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

17: I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.

18: I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,

19: In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Box 7411, Jerusalem 91073, Israel
“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.” Ps 94:19

ISRAELIS FACE MAJOR PRICE HIKES: Israelis on Wednesday saw the prices of basic state goods go up by one percent following an increase of sales tax to 16.5%. That means the price of bread, salt and other common staple goods has increased by an amount that will greatly impact the country's poorer sectors of society. The price of fuel in Israel also rose by 20 cents per gallon overnight. Additionally, Israel's Water Authority is working hard to push a bill through the Knesset that will significantly increase the cost of water. The increase will see Israelis pay 250% more for every cubic meter of water over the permitted monthly amount. Consumer groups are worried the new taxes will also result in local businesses hiking up their prices. The arrests last week ratcheted up tensions over Iran's bloody crackdown on opposition protesters who disputed the results of last month's presidential election. In a further sign of deteriorating ties, Iran said Wednesday the EU had disqualified itself from talks over Tehran’s nuclear program because of its "interference" in the post-election unrest. Iran accuses the EU of supporting the anti-government rallies. (Ha’aretz)

US CAN’T GET ARABS TO COMMIT TO NORMAL ISRAEL TIES: The US administration has not been successful in securing commitments from Arab countries to take steps toward normalizing relations with Israel, a senior source in Jerusalem said Wednesday. US President Obama's recent meeting with King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia did not produce a commitment to encourage the other Arab states to begin normalization. "In such a situation, the Americans can't continue demanding gestures only from Israel, such as the insistence that Israel freeze settlement construction," the source said. In response, a senior White House official said talks with the Arab states are continuing with the aim of obtaining a commitment to make gestures toward the Jewish state, and there is still hope for progress. (Ha’aretz) “Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?” Amos 3:3

WILL OBAMA TAKE JERUSALEM FROM THE JEWS?: The Center for American Progress, an American think tank which has served as a source for several of the Obama administration’s policies, issued a recent report recommending control of Jerusalem be taken away from Israel. Operating with the premise that the Old City of Jerusalem is the central problem in the peace process, the report discusses various options for a third-party entity that would replace Israel as its administrator. A liberal political policy research and advocacy organization, the Center for American Progress’s, reports have frequently stated the thinking of the Obama Administration. The organization rightly predicted Obama’s Cairo speech to the Muslim world and his attempts to re-establish diplomatic relations with Iran. But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of His heart through all generations.” Ps 33: 10-11

CARGO BOAT ATTEMPTING ILLEGAL ENTRY INTO GAZAN WATERS INTERCEPTED: An Israel Navy force intercepted, boarded, and took control of the cargo boat “Arion” this week, which was illegally attempting to enter the Gaza Strip. The Israeli Navy contacted the boat while at sea, but it disregarded all warnings. It then entered Gazan coastal waters and was diverted to the Israeli port of Ashdod. An Israel Defense spokesman stressed that any organization wishing to transfer humanitarian aid to Gaza must do so legally via established crossings between Israel and Gaza with prior coordination. (Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs)

ROME GIVES HONORARY CITIZENSHIP TO GILAD SHALIT: Rome has given honorary citizenship to Gilad Shalit, the Israeli soldier kidnapped by Hamas terrorists three years ago and who still remains in capitivity. Shalit's father, Noam Shalit, received the honor at a city hall ceremony Wednesday. The city council voted to give Shalit honorary citizenship to coincide with the third anniversary of his capture by terrorists in a cross-border raid from Gaza into Israel. Coleman's departure comes two months after the Republicans' other Jewish member, Arlen Specter, switched parties to become a Democrat. (AP)

INDIA: FIRST CONVICTION FOR SECTARIAN ATTACKS: An Indian court has handed down its first sentence following a series of attacks on Christians in an eastern state last year. The first person convicted has been jailed for two years. Some 800 cases have been filed in courts in connection with anti-Christian assaults that broke out in Kandhamal last year after the murder of a Hindu religious leader. Hindus blamed Christians for the leader’s death and rampaged through predominantly Christian neighborhoods, ransacking shops and torching houses. About 38 people, many of them Christians, were killed in that violence. (CNN)

ISRAEL UNVEILS HUGE MOSAIC FROM EARLY CHRISTIAN TIMES: A detailed mosaic scene of two fish was viewed by the public last weekend after it was unveiled in Lod for only the second time since its discovery. The 600-square-foot 1,700-year-old Roman floor mosaic is made up of more than two million small stones and covered with detailed pictures and geometric shapes.. The Israel Antiquities agency is presently lacking funds to properly protect it for ongoing public display. (Fox News)

RESEARCHERS DISCOVER SELF-WATERING PLANT IN ISRAEL: Called the world’s first “self-watering” plant, the Desert Rhubarb discovered in Israel’s Negev desert holds 16 times more water than other regional foliage and can water itself. Researchers from the University of Haifa said the plant’s meter-wide giant leaves are covered in microscopic streams and ridges which funnel and channel water, as well as prevent evaporation. This enables it to harvest 16 times the amount of water than otherwise expected for a plant in this region. (INN) “He brought streams out of a rocky crag and made water flow down like rivers.” Ps 78:16

PACK TO SCHOOL: Vision for Israel & The Joseph Storehouse assemble backpacks containing essential materials and supplies to assist poor children each school year. As we prepare to provide thousands of needy youngsters with school bags and supplies for September 2009, we realize there are not enough collected funds to cover the total cost of this year’s project. Meeting the needs of Israel’s children is a cause close to God's heart and we trust Him to bring in the lacking finances. Please remember that our treasures are stored in heaven and help us to bless thousands of poverty stricken Israeli children this coming school year.

Blessings from Jerusalem,
Barry Segal with the Editorial Staff

National Day of Prayer on May 7

This is an e-mail I recieved from America Family Association

The theme for this year's National Day of Prayer on May 7 is Prayer ... America's Hope! It's based on Psalm 33:22, which says, "May Your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in You."

This is an extremely critical time in America's history. From economic pressures, to the ongoing threat of terrorism, to the unraveling of our culture's moral fabric, many people are dealing with a deep sense of uncertainty and apprehension.

However, we can be confident that when we come to God in humble prayer, He hears us and stands ready to respond to our cries for help. Our forefathers sought the Almighty for guidance and safekeeping; and we, too, can depend on His divine intervention if we will turn to Him in repentance and prayer. That will be our purpose as we gather with other people of faith across the nation on May 7th.

There are many ways you can get involved:
• Join our LIVE online prayer room every Thursday at Noon CST
• Find local events
• Connect with volunteers in your area
• Request free devotionals
• Download prayer resources
• Join the Online Prayer Rally
• Sign-up for weekly prayer tips via email
• Support Regan Smith, driver of the NDP and Furniture Row race car at NASCAR's Talladega event on April 26th
• View GOD TV's LIVE webcast and television coverage of the National Observance from Washington D.C. from 9-noon EST on May 7th.

Visit www.NationalDayofPrayer.org to learn more.

Again, I hope you will join with millions of other Americans on Thursday, May 7th, to observe the 58th annual National Day of Prayer.

Sincerely,

Donald E. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2: His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3: Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4: Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
5: A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
6: Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
7: He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.
8: His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
9: He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
2: Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
3: I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
4: For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.
5: Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
6: That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.
7: God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
8: Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;
9: Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.
10: Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
11: Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?
12: Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
13: Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

Psalms Chapter 109
1: Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;
2: For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.
3: They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.
4: For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.
5: And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
6: Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.
7: When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
8: Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
9: Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
10: Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.
11: Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.
12: Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.
13: Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
14: Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
15: Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
16: Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.
17: As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.
18: As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.
19: Let it be unto him as the garment which covereth him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually.
20: Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
21: But do thou for me, O GOD the Lord, for thy name's sake: because thy mercy is good, deliver thou me.
22: For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
23: I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust.
24: My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness.
25: I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shaked their heads.
26: Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to thy mercy:
27: That they may know that this is thy hand; that thou, LORD, hast done it.
28: Let them curse, but bless thou: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let thy servant rejoice.
29: Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.
30: I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.
31: For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.

Psalms Chapter 107

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

Psalms Chapter 107
1: O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2: Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
3: And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
4: They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
5: Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6: Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
7: And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
8: Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
9: For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
10: Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;
11: Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:
12: Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.
13: Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
14: He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
15: Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
16: For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
17: Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
18: Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.
19: Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.
20: He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
21: Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
22: And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
23: They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
24: These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.
25: For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
26: They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
27: They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits' end.
28: Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
29: He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
30: Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
31: Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
32: Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.
33: He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground;
34: A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
35: He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.
36: And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;
37: And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.
38: He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
39: Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.
40: He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.
41: Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.
42: The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
43: Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.

Psalms Chapter 106

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

Psalms Chapter 106
1: Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2: Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise?
3: Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.
4: Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
5: That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.
6: We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.
7: Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
8: Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
9: He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
10: And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
11: And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
12: Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
13: They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:
14: But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.
15: And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
16: They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD.
17: The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
18: And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
19: They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
20: Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
21: They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
22: Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.
23: Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.
24: Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:
25: But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.
26: Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:
27: To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.
28: They joined themselves also unto Baal-peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
29: Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.
30: Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.
31: And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.
32: They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:
33: Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.
34: They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:
35: But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
36: And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
37: Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
38: And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
39: Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
40: Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
41: And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.
42: Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
43: Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.
44: Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
45: And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
46: He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.
47: Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.
48: Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.

Christian Coalition of America

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

Dear Friend,
Today, Christians need to play an active role in government again like never before. If we are going to change policy and influence decisions - from the school boards to Washington, DC - it is imperative that people of faith become committed to doing what Ronald Reagan called "the hard work of freedom".
To that end, we have invested a great deal of time and resources to enhance our online presence and build our website into a platform that pro-family Americans can use to have an impact on the things they care about.
But having an impact requires action. We've put the tools in place, and now we need you to help us put them to use - and spread the word.
Help build the Coalition:
Recruit your friends and family members: Tell others you know about the Christian Coalition and encour age them to get involved.
Link to us: Add Christian Coalition links, images and banners to your websites, blogs (blogrolls), or Facebook and MySpace pages.
Connect with us on Facebook and Twitter: Online social networks are a great way to reach others aren't familiar with Christian Coalition.
Spread the word: Let others know about content you find in our site. Wanting only the best for all. The grace of God is all around us. We need not to keep waiting for the miracle that changes our lives. He is here with us every day, every hour, every minute, every secound. He will never leave us. He is waiting for us to step up and come forward out of the shadows. We cannot hide His light that is within us. As is stated in scripture.
1 John 1-10
1: That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
2: (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
3: That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
4: And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
5: This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6: If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8: If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10: If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

All that believe has the Grace of God with them. Grace is the undeserved love of God. He made us, He loves us, He is always there for us. We can talk to Him anytime we want. We do not need to be lead by anyone to Him. He is there for all who believe in Him. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ will watch over us and protect us but we have to show our trust in Him without reservation. Faith is the belief of that unseen. We cannot wait for Him He is waiting on us.

1 John 4:4
4: Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

To God be all the glory.
Hebrews 13:1-6
1: Let brotherly love continue.
2: Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
3: Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
4: Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
5: Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6: So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Pastor Paul In India

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

This is a letter I recieved from Pastor Paul in India. Especially we all wish you a happy season and the Blessings in the lord.

Mistakes that lead us to
A doctor's mistake is buried.
A lawyer's mistake is imprisoned.
An accountant's mistake is jailed.
A dentist's mistake is pulled.
A pharmacist's mistake is dead.
An electrician's mistake is shocking.
A carpenter's mistake is sawdust.
A teacher's mistake is failed.
A Preacher's mistake is HELL.

Knowing this the mistake we are sincerely going forward to bring the people to the feet of the lord Jesus Christ.
This time I am going to share a small testimony from our new branch church. There is a woman called Manga she started attending church when we started the ministry in Mandapeta area. She and her husband started to ask God to give them a child. From their Marriage they didn't have children. This is 6th year now they come to the lord for the blessing. I have given them a powerful prayer book let and asked wife and husband should pray at early in the morning. They have been praying from 3 months for the blessing .Doctors conformed she has a baby in her womb. Praise the lord we are looking for the signs in the midst of people so let the people taste and see how the lord is good and how He will bless His children. Now this news spread that are and new people are attending slowly. Yes when these kind of signs and wonders happened it would be a great witness for the lord our Jesus Christ to spread the Gospel in the unreached families surrounding our place.
Hope you are going to celebrate the birth of Jesus in a very special way?let us know how you would spend the time and all?
Last month things to praise
1 Lord has blessed our ministry with other new year in our life.
2 Praise the lord He has given me opportunity to preach the lord Jesus in some revival meetings and some Occasions
3 Praise the lord for some new people started to attend the church
4 Praise the lord for healings and wonders in our ministry has taken place by the Holy spirit
Things to pray ???..
1 please pray for christmas programmes in all our churches.
2 Please pray for some believers from our church they are willing to help a little as Macedonians did to Orissa Christians who were still in jungle like food, cloths, and etc?
3 Please pray for potential sponsors to lift our ministry in the days to come at present we have 3 persons.
4 And please remember the 3 persons and their families to bless in the name of our lord for their heart for my family and the ministry. Amen.
13: And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14: And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24: And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
25: He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
26: He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
27: They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28: He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
29: He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
30: Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
31: He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.
32: He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
33: He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
34: He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,
35: And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
36: He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
37: He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
38: Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
39: He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
40: The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41: He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
42: For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
43: And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
44: And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;
45: That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Additionally, Rivka's father, Rabbi Rosenberg, is not only the Rabbi's brother-in-law but is also the Principal of the Migdal Ohr Girls' Elementary School. Who could have ever predicted that someone who has dedicated his whole life to caring for orphans and Children-at-risk would now be faced with having to care for his own Grand-nephew, and would need to help bury his own niece and nephew? What a sad, tragic coincidence.

As is so typical of the saintly work of Rabbi Grossman, there is much to report to you about work behind the scenes to plan the funeral, to reunite Baby Moshe with his grandparents, and to care for the heroic Nanny who saved Baby Moshe's life. And the stories will astound you.

Where to begin? Rabbi Grossman and Migdal Ohr to date have expended great financial costs in flying the Grandparents to India, as well as flying over the ZAKA rescue team to care for the bodies of the deceased. We have been in constant contact with the Israeli Foreign Ministry in an effort to release the bodies to Israel for burial, and in fact to bring everyone over on one flight back home. One of the causes for the delay until now is that the dead bodies were booby-trapped by the murderers with hand grenades, which required prolonged and careful removal.

I am pleased to report that through the incredible joint efforts of the Israeli Government and Rabbi Grossman, an Israeli Air Force Jet has taken off from Mumbai and is scheduled to return to Ben Gurion Airport in Israel close to midnight Israel time (5pm New York time). On the plane are Baby Moshe's Grandparents- Rabbi Shimon and Yehudit Rosenberg, Baby Moshe, The Nanny Sandra Samuel, and the deceased. An official Government Funeral has been scheduled for Tuesday. Seeing that Rivka and Gavriel Holtzberg were victims of terror, they will be accorded a full, official State burial. The funeral is expected to draw tens of thousands.

Two-year old Moshe Holtzberg will live with his grandparents in Afula, 15 minutes away from Migdal Ha'Emek. When everyone is settled, Moshe will be enrolled in one of the many Kindergartens that Migdal Ohr operates. How fitting!

As for the Nanny, Rabbi Grossman was able to secure for this heroine- an Indian resident- a full one year visa to come live in Israel with the Grandparents, so that Baby Moshe can continue to live with the most recognizable person in his life. The woman, Sandra Samuel, has no official papers, no ID documents, and yet Rabbi Grossman has managed to reunite her with Moshe and the family, at least for the next year.

In Israel, Rabbi Grossman has become the media voice for this story- appearing daily on Radio and TV to update the Israeli public. "Ma Nomar Uma Nedaber?"What more can possibly be said ? We all have the privilege of being associated with one of the great Rabbis and personalities in the history of the State of Israel- and that is no understatement.

May the memories of the deceased be a blessing for their families, and may their families be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. Rabbi Grossman and Migdal Ohr have been asked by the Family to establish a fund for Baby Moshe to be administered by them. We are in the process of setting up this Foundation and we'll let you know in due time how you may contribute.

Sincerely,

Robert Katz
Executive Vice President
______________________________________________________

Founded in 1972, Migdal Ohr, the world's largest Jewish Orphanage, provides a nurturing home and outstanding formal and Jewish education to orphaned, disadvantaged and troubled children from throughout Israel. 6,500 children are enrolled in one of our 15 elementary or high schools, 18 kindergartens, or 7 Toddler Day Care Centers with nearly 3,000 living permanently in our campus dormitories. Another 1,000 are supported by and live with foster parents in our highly acclaimed Foster Village, situated in between our Boys and Girls Campuses.

Our model has proven successful at treating the disadvantaged; it repairs the damaged lives of the children and gives them the education and self-esteem they need to flourish. The landmark achievement of the organization is its graduates, who have become doctors, scientists, mathematicians, lawyers, teachers, community leaders, rabbis and successful mothers and fathers.

Rabbi Grossman was awarded the 2004 Israel Prize for his " lifetime contributions to Israeli society"
American Friends of Migdal Ohr
email: robertkatz@migdalohrusa.org web: http://www.migdalohrusa.org/
Copyright ©2006 Migdal Ohr. Box 7411, Jerusalem 91073, Israel

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Arise, O Lord, let not man triumph; let the nations be judged in Your presence." Ps 9:19

ISRAEL TO HOLD EARLY ELECTIONS: Tzipi Livni called for new general elections in Israel, saying she failed to form a coalition government. Livni, the foreign minister and prime minister-designate, won the Kadima Party primary in September following Ehud Olmert's resignation. But she was unable to assemble a governing majority and on Sunday said she would not ask Israel's president, Shimon Peres, for more time to bring coalition partners on board. (JTA)

PALESTINIAN MURDERS ISRAELI IN JERUSALEM: A Palestinian was shot and captured after stabbing two Israelis in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo on Thursday. Two police officers stopped the Arab for questioning when he pulled out a knife and stabbed one of them. The wounded policeman fired at the terrorist, but he continued to attack and stabbed a passerby before he was apprehended. The 86-year-old civilian later died of his wounds. (J.Post)

FAMILY MOURNS STABBING VICTIM: Friends and family of Avraham Ozeri, 86, murdered in last week's Jerusalem stabbing attack, voiced sorrow and anger at the killing of the man they described as "salt of the earth." "My father was a man whom everyone loved. To stab a man such as this - and at his age - is an animal-like act," said Ozeri's son. (Ha'aretz)

HAMAS DEMANDS RELEASE OF NOTORIOUS KILLERS: Several murderers are among the 1,500 jailed terrorists Hamas is demanding in exchange for kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit. The list includes Fatkhi Abu-Sheikh who in 2002 dispatched a suicide bomber to the Park Hotel in Netanya where he murdered 30 Jews and wounded 140 in the tragic "Passover massacre." Atiya Warda sent two suicide bombers to the number 18 bus line in Jerusalem during February and March of l996. The dual attacks killed a total of 45 people and wounded dozens. Hamas wants Warda also set free in a prisoner exchange deal for Shalit. "Justice is turned back and righteousness stands afar off, for truth is fallen in the street and equity cannot enter." Is 59:14

KUNTAR: I WON'T REST UNTIL ISRAEL IS DESTROYED: Three months after being released from an Israeli jail in a prisoner swap deal with Hizbullah, Lebanese terrorist and child-killer Samir Kuntar claims he is more committed than ever towards working to destroy the Jewish state. "As long as there is something called Israel in this region, the resistance must continue. I am ready to take part in any resistance mission," said Kuntar. (J.Post) "The wicked freely strut about when what is vile is honored among men." Ps 12:8

MISSOURI STUDENTS ORGANIZE HIT A JEW DAY: A school district spokesman for Parkway Middle School in Chesterfield, Missouri said one of the saddest things about last week's, student-organized "Hit A Jew Day" was a lot of kids knew it about it but didn't say anything to school officials. On this antisemitic occasion at least 10 children were struck on the back by fellow classmates and one was slapped in the face for being Jewish. Others stood by taunting the Jewish youngsters or encouraging their class mates to deliver the hits. Officials said those directly involved could face suspension and required counseling. (AP)

AHMADINEJAD'S HEALTH DETERIORATING: Iranian sources say the health of their president is declining. According to a top aid, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - who has repeatedly called for the destruction of Israel - is coping with fatigue caused by low blood pressure and a work overload. The 52-year-old leader has canceled all public appearances and meetings during the past week. Some reports have speculated Ahmadinejad will not be fit to run for an additional presidential term next year. (J.Post)

SPY PIGEONS ARRESTED IN IRAN: Iranian intelligence sources claimed last week they arrested two pigeons near the Nantaz nuclear site. The birds - one in possession of a black metal ring with invisible strings - were charged with espionage. Months ago, the Islamic Republic arrested 12 squirrels for spying. According to Iran's state-sponsored news agency, the squirrels, who were toting foreign spy gear, were captured by quick thinking intelligence agents before the rodents could carry out their mission. (Yahoo) "Do not revile the king even in your thoughts, or curse the rich in your bedroom - a bird of the air may carry your words, and a bird on the wing may report what you say. Eccles 10:20

WORLD'S RICHEST JEW LOSES BILLIONS IN WORLD FINANCIAL CRISIS: US Jewish billionaire Sheldon Adelson has seen $10 billion melt away since the beginning of the month. Adelson owns 70% of the shares of the Las Vegas Sands (LVS). In less than four week's time LVS corporation shares have plunged by 80%. Analysts attribute the drop in LVS stocks to a general decline in the public's willingness to gamble or vacation at resorts that provide gaming services. Adelson's losses will be felt among a number of Israeli charities, which are recipients of the billionaire's financial support (Ha'aretz) "Cast but a glance at riches and they are gone. They will sprout wings and fly off to the sky."
