In the quest to raise funds to support The Vanishing America Project's efforts in the Gulf, we've set up this website to make it easy for you to help out.

Click on the Hall of Fame image to the left to donate $5 to the cause.

This summer is being spent in the Gulf of Mexico documenting and volunteering in the cleanup of the oil spill.

So far, to date, I've interviewed Louisiana resident and activist Kindra Arnesen (www.youtube.com/holtwebb), shot photos of the Deepwater Horizon rig and the marshes of the Gulf from a Coast Guard cutter, smallboat and helicopter (www.facebook.com/vanishingamerica), have toured and photographed a wildlife rescue center in Fort Jackson, taken a bird identification class and helped collect and clean oiled hermit crabs in Grand Isle. To keep this work coming, I need your help.

With your donation, your name or your company's name will be listed on this page's Hall of Fame as a proud supporter of The Vanishing America Project efforts to help clean up the spill and you will have helped bring to light true stories about the spill's effects on the land and the people.
