Missing Post : laadli

2013-09-27T14:20:00.001+05:30

This Ad featured in most of the #FB Post and always seen in the emails.
But no one knows that who have designed the Ad?. Here is the answer,
This Ad is Designed and Conceptualized by Setu's former Art Director Mr. Anil Rane Sir.
This work featured in Rajasthan Patrika.

It was 2008, our work felicitated by laadli an initiative by Polulation First. It was the first year of this "Save Girl Child" movement. That time, Kshitij Patwardhan a well-known, Marathi Play, Movie writer was working with Setu. And he comes up with the thought for the Advertisement and we take part in this Social Cause We both felicitated by Gerson DA Cunha for the attempt. Here are some memories...

Khara Punekar JR

2013-09-10T15:53:00.000+05:30

Last Month I was busy with this Khara Punekar JR. Supplement This supplement published in Pune's leading Marathi news paper Sakal. It was Sakal's reader connects initiative. It planned and designed for Ganeshotsav the most enthusiastic festival of Maharashtra.

I specially Thanks to Rugwed who spurred me to do illustrations and design the supplement independently. Varun, a young Marathi copy writer comes with the idea for the supplement and help a lot with the editorial work. Here are the glimpses. At the beginning of this year we design the identity " Khara Punekar" for Sakal. it was 16 pages supplement featuring more than 100 questions about the city PUNE. And we can say this Junior supplement was its extension... Puneites warmly welcomes this endeavor. Especially the young ones.

Some Social Work

2013-07-26T18:45:00.000+05:30

This time I worked for some charity. I got an opportunity to design some social message logos for Rotary Club of Katraj, Pune. These logos are going to appear on various packages, Carry bags and Products which we often buy. The communication is in both languages Marathi,an official language of my state and English. here are some glimpses of the work. I enjoyed the moto and the restriction to design. The task was to design simple and proper to the message. amoung the work I most like Save Girl Child logo.

KImaya : 2 Phase, after 2 Years

2013-06-19T11:40:00.000+05:30

2 years before we launched the luxurious residential project " Kimaya" at Bibwewadi, off Satara Road.
And now we have launched its second phase. When we launch the Kimaya (you can find that work on the same blog) we used an idea, "Come, live in fantasy". For this phase we drive an idea. "A Joy to see your dream home". As similar as the launch campaign. When I design the launch campaign, I was not aware that I have to design for the launch of its second phase separately. It was challenge to drive a second fresh campaign which has connection with the previous communication.

Missing Post : DJBPL Calendar 2009

2013-01-24T13:28:00.000+05:30

The First Calendar which I have designed for DJBPL....

I have been working on this account since 2007 but got the opportunity to design a Calendar in 2009. The idea of this calendar credited to my dear friend, Kshitij Patwardhan, an eminent Play writer, Movie writer from Marathi Film and Drama Industry. That time he was working as a Copywriter with Setu. And another friend Murlidhar Phadtare was newly joined and started handling the DJBPL account. This work has some nostalgic memories.
"Speeches that Transformed the World" was published with a preface of Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpeyee. We fetch the speeches of Winston Churchill, Martin Luther King Jr., Jawaharlal Nehru, Subhashchandra Bose, Barack Obama, Mandella, John F Kennedy, Babasaheb Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi, Lokmanya Tilak, Vivekanada, Abraham LincOln,

There is a one co-incidence...when I designed this calendar Barak Obama was firstly elected as a President of United states of America and now when I am posting this post a day before he took charge of his office at the second time... :)

The shimmering light of India's Pride!

2012-11-10T13:15:00.000+05:30

This year, may the festival of Diwali gleam over India

and celebrate womanhood!

Women's are always adorable in India, and it has a long history. Indira Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Aruna Asaf ali, M.S. Subbalaxmi and Nightingale of India Lata Mangeshkar are honored by Nation's highest civil award Bharat Ratna. It is their extraordinary flair of talent that has honoured them with the ‘Bharat Ratna’ award! Applauds do not suffice as a tribute to their remarkable endeavours.

This Diwali, let’s take an oath to protect the integrity of every girl child and empower them towards a radiant future filled with respect and admiration. It's time we salute the radiance of these 'Bharat Ratna' awardees, who set an example for the able women of our country with their undying spirit.

‘Pride of India’ is a CSR initiative that belongs to Darode-Jog Properties. Through this auspicious Diwali greeting, we aim to empower our female counterparts and hope this awareness of women empowerment showers enlightenment. Let’s celebrate this Diwali by backing this cause & supporting the many NGO’s and institutions that work towards the welfare of women in India.

The Bharat Ratna is used in this greeting only for information purposes. We have no intention of traversing any protocols, laws in regard to the Bharat Ratna, for its use in words or in visuals, as our sole purpose is of giving information. The personalities featured are meant to be as inspirational icons only and not for promotional purposes.
