Lake Hillier is a lake on Middle Island, the largest of the islands and islets that make up the Recherche Archipelago, Western Australia.

The most shocking feature of this lake is it's pink color and the scientists speculate that the color comes from a dye created by bacteria that lives in the salt crusts.
The color is permanent and does not clean even if you take it in bottle.

The length of the lake is about six hundred metres (3/8 mile). The lake is surrounded by a rim of sand and a dense woodland of paperbark and eucalyptus trees with a narrow strip of sand dunes covered by vegetation separating it to the north from the Southern Ocean.

In the mid-twentieth century, scientists have studied the composition of water in the lake wanting to find out what causes the lake takes on the color pink. At first it was thought that the color of algae that produce such Dunaliella Salinas, which produce a red dye, but their conjecture is not confirmed. Hallstatt is a charming, small alpine village located between step cliffs and Salzburg shore of lake in Austria (Europe). Main attraction of Hallstatt is it's unique combination of nature, archaeology, folk traditions and the special architecture of the houses where you can find all the possible styles of romance, Gothic and Baroque until modern styles.

150 years ago Hallstatt had no roads that would lead to this small town. It could be approached only from the lake or by challenging mountain roads. On this way the Habsburgs were protecting their greatest source of wealth from curious people - their salt mines. Despite it's remoteness and absence of the road, Hallstatt is one of the oldest human settlements in Europe; because of salt deposits. Salt was extracted about 5500 B.C., which has been proven by stone ax that was used for digging.
The former hunters have noticed that the wild animals are coming much more frequently withe individual streams. They were attracted by salted water. Following the stream to it's source, the hunters found salt shoots above the present Hallstatt.

Salt has always been a valuable supplies and valuable item in the trade, and this region with its salt mine was always plentiful.

The best evidence is an iron sword which was found in a grave that had a handle carved from African ivory decorated with amber from the Baltic.Salt was the only preservative in that time. Salt has so successfully kept the organic substances that in the 1734th, body was found fully preserved in salt.

I'm, sure you are already enough shocked of this amazing view and recommend you just to relax, to turn on some easy music and to imagine yourself on a place like this with your best friend/partner. But before that, please let me tell you a bit more about this beauty called Angel Waterfalls! Angel Waterfall is the tallest waterfall in the world (metric 979 meters, eng 3212 feet) and it's located in Guyana highlands, one of the five regions of Venezuela, South America. I have to add that Angel Waterfalls is 15 times higher than Niagara Waterfalls with it's total of approximately 52 meters or en 170,60 feet.

But why "Angel" Waterfalls? There is one legend that can give us an answer. Actually, this waterfall is named by Jimmy Angel, an adventurous pilot from Missouri ( USA ), who flew to the air circus Lindbergh. HE was the first person who saw this amazing waterfall in 1933 with his partner while they were searching for the legendary McCracken River of Gold or, as you already heard about, Golden City. Jimmy returned again in 1937 with his wife and his friend Gustavo where they had an emergency landing on the top of the mountain Auyantepuy (mountain of Angel Waterfalls). The aircraft stayed on the top of the mountain for 33 years until it was taken down by helicopter.Jimmy and his companions rescued by walking through the jungle for eleven days. If you ever visit Auyantepuy you will find replica of Jimmy's airplane.

I can only say that this place is one of the most famous attractions for those who are really in love to spectacular nature. This very tall mountain is located on the lands of Venezuela and surrounded by clouds which make it seem suspended in the air.But there is one more interesting fact about this amazing mountain. Actually, Roraima Mountain is located right on the junction of three borders - Guyana, Venezuela and Brazil, and that means that once you have climbed on top of Mount Roraima, you will be able to stand in three countries in the same time and that is the most joyful experience.

And this is one more present from nature located in California. It's called Red Tide and it's a common name for a phenomenon known as an algal bloom that we also saw in Paradise River (Columbia).

This algae (phytoplankton) are single-celled protists. Plant-like organ that can form dense, visible patches near the water surface. Certain species of this algae contains photosynthetic pigments that vary in color from green to brown to red (pink) and gives incredible view for humans eye.

But are this "alive" blooming algae harmful for the human health and underwater life???

Unfortunately yes, even if its so beautiful to watch this amazing natural phenomenon...In some cases, even humans have been harmed by red tides though no human exposure are known to have been fatal. While they can be fatal, the constituent phytoplankton in red tides are not harmful in small numbers....

Is this normal? Is this true? Yes it is! Amazingly, these incredible animals are actually real. They climb Argan trees in Morocco in need for food, which is otherwise rare in this area. Leaded by their need, they became not only able to climb trees, but they became really skilled in this art and It's hard to imagine this for animals with hooves.

I have to add one more interesting fact: Actually the poo (droppings) of this goats contains grain seeds that locals use to press and grind into oil. This oil has many uses including culinary and cosmetic, and even if maybe this sounds disturbingly for you and you might want to skip over the versions sold by locals for something more known, i have to inform you that quarter-liter of this product costs from 15 to 50 USD.

The Racetrack Playa is a scenic dry lake feature with "sailing stones" that leave linear "racetrack" imprints.

It's located above the northwestern side of Death Valley, in Death Valley National Park, Inyo County, California,U.S..

The sailing stones are a geological phenomenon found in the Racetrack. The stones slowly move across the surface of the playa, leaving a track as they go, without human or animal intervention. The force behind their movement is not understood and is the subject of research. Racetrack stones only move every two or three years and most tracks develop over three or four years. Stones with rough bottoms leave straight striated tracks while those with smooth bottoms wander. Stones sometimes turn over, exposing another edge to the ground and leaving a different track in the stone's wake.
