Boat ride anyone?

2011-10-16T21:39:00.000-07:00

Taken at Amansinaya Resorts in Laurel, Batangas.

This is Franco (in floaters) and Elon, sons of my officemates. My daughter has tantrums and she neither want to ride the boat nor to be taken pictures. When it was supposed to be her turn on the boat, she pushed me and ran away. I was left with these kids, my camera, and a little patience. Darn kid.

Happy Mellow Yellow Monday everyone.

Santan

2011-10-03T20:51:00.000-07:00

Snapped this on my way to my aunt's house. This is Santan. Found in tropical areas, it is commonly known as West Indian Jasmine. The plant produces big bunches of tiny flowers. It’s scientific name is Ixora of the Rubiaceae Family. It comes in variety of colors ranging from red, yellow, orange, and white.

Puppets!

2011-10-03T18:25:00.000-07:00

I have a daughter who loves artworks. I’m having a headache when she starts to have them float around like a mess. She loves to cut and color and paste. And have them all displayed on table tops, cupboards, dressers, cabinets, and even at the stairs! Sometimes I’m thinking of having build a craft room for her where she makes her masterpieces and keep them there. Anyways, they really come out cute. Here’s what she called puppets displayed on the top of our TV.

Broken Eyeglasses Again?

2011-09-01T21:23:00.000-07:00

My eldest daughter’s prescription eyeglasses were broken for the 4^th time. This was the 3^rd prescription glasses that I bought for her in 6 years. When she was 7 years old she has this condition called accommodative esotropia where in one of her eyes tends to go inward excessively that she needed to wear corrective eyeglasses to align her eyes. My daughter is 12 years old now and she’s farsighted. She always complained about being unable to read what’s written on the board at her class that’s why she’s always seated in the front row. I’ve been on the budget lately and buying new prescription eyeglasses for her is definitely another extra cost. I tend to check the internet looking for children’s glasses. I’m glad there’s Zenni Optical, the no. 1 online store that offers high quality and affordable prescription eyeglasses at a cost for as low as $6.95.

An array of eyeglasses varies from rimless, to full and half-rims, to sunshades and goggles. A wide range of shapes are available too. There’s round, aviator, oval, and rectangle and all of them comes in fun colors so there’s no way you’ll be having difficulties in choosing the style that suits your individuality. All of these prescription eyeglasses are made using the best materials and if the eyeglasses delivered to you are not the ones you have in mind, you can send them back and Zenni Optical will be very much willing for an exchange of items. Their superior product comes with superior service.

Mellow Yellow Monday # 5

2010-11-22T00:52:00.000-08:00

This is my youngest and only son having his first haircut. I need to carry him because he can't keep still that he jumped from the baby chair gladly I got hold of him. He grabbed the comb and threw it away, pulled the attendant's apron, and he had always looked at the scissors. It took an hour for us to finish because we needed to stop everytime he started crying. But right after we're finished, my boy kept on laughing when he saw his image from the mirror. I think he liked his new look. Me, I liked it so much, not to mention that the parlor gave him a whole year of free haircut.

2010-11-04T22:51:00.000-07:00

My daughter Helenia loves art; in fact she started making shapes and stick figures when she was 3 years old. I can’t remember how many boxes of crayon I had bought because every time she breaks them, I buy new ones. I really wish I have an artist in the making! Her she is, showing her works..

Thankful Thursday - DKNY Fragrance

2010-11-03T22:47:00.000-07:00

I'm here for another Thankful Thursday post.

Last October 21, 2010 as I was bloghopping, I came to visit the Nuffnang site and found out that through Nuffnang, DKNY Philippines is giving away 50 DKNY Be Delicious Sample Fragrances and Lotions to Nuffnangers who want to join the Delicious Core Club and design their own Be Delicious bottle. I was lucky that the form to be filled up appeared exactly during the time that I was on Nuffnang site. Then On October 26, I saw my name included in the list of the the first 50 Nuffnangers who will get one (1) DKNY Be Delicious Deluxe Sample Fragrance and also one (1) DKNY Be Delicious Lotion for free! On October 28, I came to Nuffnang’s office and claimed these:

I thank God for the wonders that He's been giving me. God bless us all.

So Much to be thankful for

2010-10-28T01:25:00.000-07:00

In the past, I had been through a lot of rough times. I loved, cried, got broken, loved again and was caught up between family values and incompatibility, then got separated when I found the strength to leave him. I was lost when I lost my mom. I started to worry about money to pay the bills and the mortgage. I was afraid the bank will take over my house. But I never gave up and never stopped being thankful for all that I had.

I am thankful that I got four kids and that they’re always in good health. I may never be always there beside them but I had faith in God and I entrusted them to Him, to guide them and keep them safe.

I am thankful that although I came from a poor family, my parents raised me well and they’re always there even when I did something stupid. I am thankful that they gave me a brother and a sister that even though we were like cats and dogs when we we’re young; they turned out to be my best friends.

There’s really so much in life to be thankful for and I’m glad that I found this meme that through this, I can bring up the good things in life that God has given me. Every week, I’ll be looking forward to think of the things that I am truly thankful for and share them with the world. I truly believed that God is always there because things in my life are starting to go right again.

LP 123: Ingay

2010-10-27T19:32:00.000-07:00

Watery Wednesday #4

2010-10-27T01:30:00.000-07:00

Here's my entry for this week. Shot during a dinner at San Diego Restaurant at Club Punta Fuego Inc..

Punta Fuego is the country's pioneer in seaside developments. Located in Nasugbu, Batangas, it has the conveniences of modern facilities and diverse dining outlets. San Diego on the other hand, was named after a ship that sailed past the overlooking waters of Punta Fuego some 400 years ago.

As an exclusive resort, only members and their guests are privileged to enjoy the club's facilities and amenities. Lucky for me I work here. For more Watery Wednesday entries, please click here.
