I don’t know what this is. It started growing in the back garden, I assumed it was from the bird seed that I put out for the birds or maybe a bird had ‘deposited’ it there when it visited.

Anyway, I left it to grow just to see what it was. As it got bigger I moved it to a different position so it could continue to grow un-hindered. It is some sort of bush – I have no idea what. I’m just going to let it carry on growing and see if it eventually produces any flowers or berries.

It seems to be doing quite well and as you can see is producing new growth so it must be happy where it is.

Snowdrops getting ready to burst into flower.

I watched this tiny white feather float gently down onto the decking this morning.

I think it’s probably from one of the collared doves that’s always hanging about in the back garden.

Moss growing through the concrete.

Daffodil shoots.

Potentilla leaves.

After thinking it over I’ve decided not to make the whole blog private but just any individual posts that I would rather keep to myself. So I’ll still be doing my Year Of Colours posts and gardening update posts as and when they happen and my notebook posts will be marked private.
