New Urban Folk Art

I came up with the idea to produce New Urban Folk Art directly from the movement of new urbanism which was transforming cities from sprawling metropolises into compact and sustainable living environments. I wanted to convey my ideas of cities that had reconnected with nature. I studied various art movements and artists and determined to adopt a more folk type approach rather than fine art style.
