As part of Earth day π last week Year 2DK learnt about Bees π and why it is so important that we protect and look after them. We took part in a art tutorial to draw a bee and made flowers to explain why it is important to look after them. π πΈ π We also tried some Honey! We went on a nature walk around the school and looked at how the shrubs and trees were changing. We saw that the leaves were falling from the trees and had changed colour to lovely russets, browns, oranges and yellows. We gathered our leaves and used them to make the spikes on our hedgehogs.
