My money, my house, my car, my children, my certificates, my job, my husband, my wife, my families, my clothes, my SHOE.....
My ! My!! My !!! What is this life worth?

A man was informed about the death of his father, but he tarried. When his father started smelling, their neighbours took his father to the mortuary for preservation.

A week later, he went to the mortuary to see the corpse of his father. When he was about to enter the place, there was a poster placed at the entrance of the mortuary, of which no one can escape it. It read:

“ WE WERE LIKE YOU BEFORE, BUT WE ARE HERE NOW. ”

The young boy read it, but it didn't make any sense to him.

He went inside, checked the corpse of his father, after a few minutes, he made his step out.

As he was about to step outside, he saw another inscription placed on a strategic location, which no one will escape. It says:

“ YOU WILL SOON BE LIKE US. ”

This last word touched his stone heart and he repented from that moment. From that moment, he understood,

Everything here on earth is like a dream, a vapour. Life itself is not real, as everything is temporal.

You will soon be like those that were once Living , Eating , Sleeping , Walking , Talking , Laughing here on earth , but today ......
They're NO MORE.

When he got to his father's mansion, there was nobody to talk to, his father left his shoes, clothes, money, bed, cars, EVERYTHING.

As he was searching his father's wardrobes, he saw untouched brand new dollars, well packed and arranged, but the owner of the money was in the mortuary. The young boy remembered,

“ WE WERE LIKE YOU BEFORE, BUT YOU WILL SOON JOIN US. ”

He cried the more.

You eat chicken with vegetables and fish, turkey, meat , fried rice, and drink wine today , but tomorrow, your flesh becomes food for maggots.

You drive a nice car today, but tomorrow, a hearse drives you.

You live in a mansion today, but tomorrow you live in burial ground.

You sleep in a nice bed today, but tomorrow, you sleep inside the Grave !

There is no replacement for your soul ? It is priceless, unique and peculiar. The soul is the real you. It leaves on after death.

You will lose everything if you die without GOD and without living for Him.

Please, ruminate on this piece of post, reconcile with your creator, and have a positive change of heart, so that your living on earth shall be to God's Glory and at the end of your sojourning on earth, you will not end in oblivion.

A group of 50 people attended a seminar. Suddenly the speaker stopped and started giving each person a Balloon. Each one was asked to write his/her name on it using a marker.

Then all the Balloons were collected and put in another room. Now these Delegates were let into that room and asked to find the balloon which had their respective names written on within 5 minutes. Everyone was frantically searching for their names, pushing and colliding with each other, and there was utter Chaos. At the end of 5 minutes, No One could find their own Balloons.

Now each one was asked to Randomly Collect a Balloon and Give It to the Person whose Name was written on it. Within minutes, Everyone had their own Balloons.

We should respect them especially if they are our leaders in the church.

If we do so, they will pray for us, give us advice, teach us and guide us in the right way.

Why do some children not respect elders?

THE BARRIER WAS BROKEN

Barrier is anything that prevents or blocks movement from one place to the other. It also means a law or problem that makes something difficult or impossible. Barriers are meant to prevent success of some kinds in a situation of a person’s life. The Jewish nation is our example in this dose of the Living Water.

When the Jews returned from exile, under the leadership of Zerubbabel, to rebuild the temple, they started well by building the altar, first laying the foundation. When they got to the works on the building itself, the barrier suddenly appeared. The opposition of the local population and the lack of motivation among the Jews slowed the work down to the point of standstill for seventeen years.

The result of any barrier is suffering in people’s lives. The Jews suffered a lot before God, when they failed to complete the temple work (Hag. 1:1-11). Whatever that makes success or accomplishment hard for you, is a barrier that needs to be broken before you. Success is achievable, and accomplishment is certain, when barrier is removed. Your own barrier will be broken, in Jesus' name.

When the barrier was broken before Zerubbabel, the temple that was delayed for seventeen years, was completed within three and half years. The barrier was broken, when Zerubbabel realised that the task could not be accomplished through the force of an army, or the physical stamina of the workmen (Zech. 4:6).

Having acknowledged that the task would only be accomplished by the empowerment of the Spirit of God, they allowed the Spirit to take charge. When you allow the Holy Spirit to take charge of all that you lay your hand on, your success becomes unstoppable.

By this time, he was abusing alcohol and drugs every night. In the midst of the chaos Robert dropped out of school and decided to pursue a career in acting. He focused on his work and took any role he could find, and was hired to be on Saturday Night Live.

But SNL had terrible ratings that year and Robert was fired. Still, he continued working small roles in popular films like Weird Science, and soon landed a breakout role in Less than Zero, where he played a cynical drug addict whose life spirals out of control. His performance was widely praised as moving and mature, but Robert felt that he was playing his own drug-addicted self and checked himself into rehab.

Now clean and sober he was ready to work and prepared extensively for the role of Charlie Chaplin by learning the violin and becoming left-handed. "Nothing will serve you better than a strong work ethic. Nothing." His performance got him nominated for an Oscar.

But despite his success, drugs were never far behind. He gave into his demons again and hit rock-bottom, getting arrested and going to prison several times in a few short years. His wife was fed up and left with their son. Lost, tired and desperate for help, Robert checked himself into rehab again.

"Remember that just because you hit bottom doesn't mean you have to stay there." While there, he took up meditation, yoga and kung-fu, and finished treatment with a renewed passion for life and desire to stay drug-free. His second wife gave him an ultimatum to stick to his sobriety or lose her. This time, he was ready to give it his all. All his hard work paid off when he landed the role of Iron Man, which went on to make billions worldwide and got him named one of the world's most influential people.

A true hero, Robert spends much of his time with children who are sick or in need of help. He visits them in the hospital, and in true Tony Stark style, once delivered a new bionic arm to a young boy. Knowing their struggles, he also helps addicts get the help they need to recover. Robert's inspiring comeback story is proof that you can always turn your life around. "People rise out of the ashes, because they are invested in the possibility of triumph over seemingly impossible odds."
