Yesterday, I met up with a company’s CEO, who was my ex-boss. Just met up for lunch to catch up, and it was at Amcorp Mall.

Okay, these are what I remembered:
When I arrived at the open car-park, before I took my ticket I noticed the cars in front stopped, because waiting for a parking lot. I waited patiently before pressing the ticket button.

Then what I remembered was, I drove in, turned left and found a nice car park near to the mall’s entrance. After parking the car, I locked the sterling wheel, put up the sun shade, placed my handphone back to my handbag. Then, I left the car, locked it.

Here is what happened that really puzzles me until now…

I walked 2 steps and remembered about my parking ticket. I was just in front of my car when I remembered that. Look, I was really 2 steps from the door, and if I extend my hand, I can still touch my car. So, the point is, I wasn’t far away, and there is no way I dropped my ticket until it is untraceable.

I checked every part of the car, every compartments. I squat down to check the bottom to the car. I poured out every content of my handbag. I checked all the bushes around. I just couldn’t find the car park ticket.

I walked back to the entrance, and after observation, confirmed that the ticket must be retrieved, or the boom arm will not raise.

So, where is my parking ticket?

After lunch, we went to the building management, and they charge RM50 for missing ticket. I wasn’t happy with that, so I went back to the entrance again to see if I really dropped it on the ground. Nothing.

A guy carrying a heavy suitcase asked us what happened, so we briefly told him. Wow! He managed to get one ticket for us (don’t ask me how, too elaborative). I wanted to pay him for his effort, but he declined and walked away.

I am so thankful that it is resolved, but I am still very puzzled what has happened to my parking ticket. Gone without traces!

And no, I am not big-head-prawn like this usually. This is the very first time I lost my ticket. Some more in this manner!!!

Yesterday I brought Ian to GSC 1U to watch Transformer ROTF. He is a Bumblebee and Optimus Prime fan. Initially I didn’t play to bring him, just wanted to watch alone, but DH said since he is a fan I should bring him. So, I thought why not?! I regretted, half way through the movie – too violent for him!!

Anyway, we were late to collect our booked tickets, coz they have 45 min condition, i.e. you must collect 45 min before show or your booking will be expired.

So, we had to queue up. I don’t mind doing that as long as the tickets are available. But then… the queue was just so long, even going outside of the designated area. What caused the queue so long, is not the number of patrons, but –> ONLY 2 PERSON WORKING out of the so many counters.

We queued for about 40 min. By the time it was our turn, it was already 3pm, so I bought 4pm ticket.

When we went in at 4pm, we watched 20 minutes of advertisements. Yes, TWENTY MINUTES. I could have picked up the 3pm show had I know this.

Ian kept asking when would they start showing. And at the end, the show ended at 6:50pm.

I don’t like this one, compared to the first. There are so many things that I don’t like about it…

First of all, the lady Decepticon – Alice (Isabel Lucas) is so out of tune. Okay, I’m not familiar with the original Transformer comic, but this woman does not look metal at all, right? I thought all Transformers are supposed to be metal based (except the tire, no?)? That character sucks.

Then, the ancient Decepticon that turned side to Autobot is also something for laugh. Okay, his sacrifice at the end is critical for Autobot’s victory. But this thing about him getting too old and rusty sounds really disappointing for one that adores Transformer so much – they are after all just like human – even using a walking stick??!!

The resurrection of Sam is also another joke. Ian asked why he can come back after death, I just had to lie that he didn’t die, he just fainted and slept, and that was just a dream… Geez, if the ancestors of Primes can ‘kick’ your soul back to your body after death, why can’t they kick Optimus Prime back to life? Crappy.

In addition, what made me nearly vomit (YES, REAL vomit) is the camera that keeps spinning around Sam and Mikaela. It keeps spinning around them when they hug lah, kiss lah, whatever lah. It made me so dizzy having seated somewhat near to the screen. It really made me nausea for a while. And then, it spends so much of time showing the couple. Sigh! I don’t want to see them lah, I want to see the Transformers. Also, Mikaela’s role is really a “flower pot”. She really doesn’t need to stick around with Sam when he runs away. “toh-sao-lan-giok”

Overall, I still prefer the first one. This is always the problem with second…

Been trying to toilet train Isabel at night for a while. Not very successful, wetting the bed many times. Although I have the mattress pads, still a chore at night.

I quit 2 weeks ago, thinking that she wasn’t really ready. I asked her to use the leftover diapers. After 1 week wetting herself, she suddenly shows improvement again.

One night, I heard her crying in her room. Thinking that she probably fell on the floor, I went in and surprisingly found her standing in front of the toilet crying.

Well, apparently she took out the diaper herself, used the toilet all by herself. But stuck with the door and hurt her feet slightly.

Following that, we ran out of diapers already, so I took out the Cloth Diapers which I had kept for a while.

SHE REFUSED TO USE THAT CLOTH DIAPER!!!

She said, they are too thick! LOL!

So, I told her, if she doesn’t want to use the diaper, she cannot wet her bed. If she wet her bed, she has to use the CD. She agreed.

From then on, 5 days already, NO WETTING!

I hope this is permanent. Too many rounds already. So many times I reported here in this blog, that I have successfully trained her, but then it went back to wetting again. Hahahaha! No confidence now. :p

My friend G’s daughter RG just had her birthday party 2 weeks ago. The family came back here all the way from Singapore, despite the outbreak of A-flu. They had the party at MegaKidz at Mid Valley.

Upon arrival, all little guests were given a water tattoo on their arms. I think they are really lovely. Ian and Isabel chose these:

They have a dedicated room for all the party guests. The party started around 11am, so it was a nice early lunch for us. My friend ordered fried meehoon, curry chicken, nasi lemak, and some veggies for the adults. For kids, it was part of the MegaKidz package. My friend ordered the second most expensive package. For orders beyond a certain number, we get the ascot to come in – it is a pirated Barney, a purple dinosaur. Hahahaha!

Isabel kept pulling the dinosaur’s tail. She kept going back to shake its hands, shouting “You see! Barney! Barney is here!”

Well, obviously they are different, apart from the purple color. LOL!

I think it is a very nice place for birthday party, coz before and after the party starts, the kids can play at the gym for unlimited hours. If your kids are older, you can also leave them while you go shopping. My other friends SM and D did that with their 6 and 8 years old. I won’t do that, coz mine are too young and less independent. LOL!

Geez, when we first arrived, Ian didn’t even want to play at all, and kept saying he was scared. Then, his best friend Ryan arrived, wow – things changed 180d. Ryan was like a rat, climbing up and down, and then there he is gone. Ian had to catch up, but because Ryan was there, he became more daring and could play already.

Isabel, on the other hand, played at the baby’s section BY HERSELF. She ignored me, explored things, and found a nice corner, LIED DOWN AND PLAY SLEEPING GAME! LOL! Very independent… a bit to the extreme end.

True enough, actually, this is the welcome gift the car dealer supposed to give to his wife – ME! Hahahaha! The dealer must be a bit disappointed not able to surprise his wife. LOL!

Anyway, my suffering with the old Honda is gone. I am quite happy to be parted with it, but DH is the one who got emotional. He kept taking a lot of photos with the car. LOL! Ya, true, it has accompanied us for 5 years already…

Back to the new car. I am VERY HAPPY with the new car. We have been waiting for it to arrive since 2 months ago. Been delayed so many times, till we thought we got cheated. LOL!

This car is about the same price as my old Honda, but the spec is a lot more premium. Bigger cc as well – but then, also mean higher fuel consumption right?

Well, more pressure to look for a job now… :p
