CTC Performance - ITB Kit

2012-11-07T21:06:00.004+08:00

CTC Performance race a Swift Sport in the UK, they also launched an ITB kit in the UK. Here's the spec of it's race car

-AT Power ITB Kit

-Torq Project Standalone ECU

-Catcams Race Cams

-CTC 4-1 Header with 200 Cell Sport Cat

-CTC Titanium Cat Back Exhaust

-CTC Baffle Sump Plate

-Hard Race Engine Mounts

-MFactory Helical LSD

-MFactory Short Final Drive 4.7

-XYZ Race Spec Coilovers

-Super Pro Polly Bushes

-Ultra Racing Braces x 7

-Ultra Racing Uprated front and rear ARB's

-Rota Slipstream 15" Wheels with Fedderal FZ201 Tyres

-Carbotech XP8 Race Pads & CTC Discs

-FIA approved Cobra Seat and Ricco Racing 6 Point Harness

-FIA Approved Plumbed in Fire Extinguisher and Electric kill switch

Think thats about it for spec, it made 145bhp without the ITB's and Cams. It has yet to go on the dyno but we expect it to make 185-190bhp in its current form. A stock car with the ITB's made 25WHP improvement from just the ITB's.They are in the process of setting up a Swift race series.

Info on the ITB kit is as follows:

AT Power Direct to head ITB kit
Penny and Gills TPS Sensor
Vacuum holes drilled and tapped for press on vacuum tubes for every cylinder
Vacuum tank
Oil catch Tank
Steel braided hoses and fittings for fuel supply
Self locking fittings to stock fuel supply outlet
Automatic car Brake master Cylinder reservoir to clear Trumpets
Clutch reservoir relocation mounting brackets
Stand Alone ECU with harness
Cable throttle kit

I suppose this set of rotors need no further introduction
Try google u can read its rave reviews

For the pass month, i had been shopping for alternative rotor after my set of Endless front and OEM rear rotor worn off
I came across Runstop and decided to contact its local representive
I was told it can be customize according to spec

Initially i had a benefit of doubt as this need superb precise calculation and measurement
Any micro error with diameter and offset would result in vibration and rotor warped
Local agent convinced me that they can do good job if not better
I took the gamble and had it customized

Collected both set today and had it hooked up
After some minor testing within the compound i suggested we bumped onto the highway and do some serious high speed braking test

I was sold, the return was all perfect
No vibration was felt and the braking distribution was balanced to somewhere about 60% Front 40% Back
Not much of nose diving was felt

It had been a long time since i came across a perfect customize job
