Facebook staff have painted a giant 42-foot QR code on the roof of the building at their Menlo Park, California campus.

"Hack yeah! I’d like to paint a gigantic QR code somewhere so we can RickRoll online maps, or point people to our careers site, or send them to a ‘Clarissa Explains it All’ GeoCities Page,” Pike wrote in a Facebook post that became the catalyst for a late-night rooftop painting session.
"The next time you zoom in on Facebook from a satellite map or find yourself flying into SFO, take a close look at our roof,” Pike said. "We can’t promise you wont be Rick Rolled, but we can promise something cool."

Creative director Mike Ferrer at GSD&M comped up this whole campaign. He wanted to make the Caesars logo out of various objects. Each object represented an aspect of their brand; Celebrity chefs, shopping, spas, etc, and their iconic laurel.

After Mike finished having his brilliant idea, he was struck with a dilemma; how on earth would he pull this off? He wanted it to look real. That’s something objects just layered in Photoshop aren’t going to achieve. And something only a select few, very expensive, very busy CGI artists can pull off…. So?

Art buyer Shannon McMillan to save the day! When this landed on her desk she knew; Adam and Robin. Are they brilliant CGI artists? No. Can they line up some knives to form a logo AND light the heck out of those knives? Damn right they can!

Three human shaped RC planes were flown around New York City to create the illusion of people flying. Lots of fun.

The music track is "Unstoppable 2" by Tom Quick.
Film Edit by D2
www.dimension2.com
www.facebook.com/dimensiontwo

Music: Skrillex - Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites
http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/scary-monsters-nice-sprites/id409001929

As Skateboarders and Surfers Maverick started slacklining as a fun way to improve our balance but very quickly it has become firmly ingrained in their culture and lifestyle. Slacklining seems to all intents and purposes a relative of tightrope walking and if you think you had seen it all when it comes to that you may want to think again.

This is like tightrope walking in synchronicity but with a whole lot of bouncing thrown in for good measure!

The Maverick Slackline Team are gaining a quite considerable following in the UK – for obvious reasons – and have recently appeared on the TV show Live ‘N’ Deadly. You can learn more about them and their slacklining adventures at their website.

Pivot

New Batman 3 IMAX version movie trailer released online. Recently a fan dropped this new IMAX version of the 2nd movie trailer (below) for the "Dark Knight Rises" flick. The fan, apparently, recorded it,while in the IMAX theater. It obviously isn't as good as actually being in the IMAX theater itself, but it kind of gives an idea of what it's like to watch it in IMAX. The trailer looks awesome, and features scenes with the naughty Selina Kyle aka Catwoman, along with Bruce Wayne aka Batman, Bane,Alfred, and more. It shows the crazy football scene as the field totally caves in while a guy is running for a touchdown. That definitely must have freaked him out. The movie stars: Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple,Josh Pence, and hits theaters on July 20th 2012.

Girls
