Previously, CBS tried to cancel it after season 6, but then they turned around and changed their mind. Then, they said season 7 would be the last one, but then they gave it a season 8 renewal. So, while we are telling you it's canceled right now, you just really never know. We believe this it though from what we're being told. The cancellation announcement came pretty early back in early March 2025. Also, Deadline said that CBS did not even entertain the idea of having renewal talks this time. They just went straight in for the kill. This series is not directly produced by CBS. So, that could have something to do with it.
