I happen to think old silver serving pieces are so uniquely elegant and I can't help but be drawn in when sifting through salvaged odds and ends at thrift stores and antique fairs. I am able to see past the tarnish and age spots confident that a little elbow grease and silver polish will unveil their original beauty.

Well I finally got caught up with all the salvaged goodies waiting patiently for a "new" shabby paint job in my garage...and now it's time to head out to Renninger's Extravaganza antique fair again this weekend. I can hardly wait, I've go that itch. The weather has been chilly here in Florida, just perfect for a day scrounging through endless booths of dusty rusty treasures. Gets my heart racing.
